Anime Just saw my first episode of "Cowboy BeBop"...my thoughts...
JCBaggee replied to JCBaggee's topic in Otaku Central
If you liive in the UK? I dunno...have a friend of your in the good old U.S.A. tape it and mail it to you? Or maybe you're just screwed if you live in the UK. -
Actually, watching TV or playing on the computer only makes it worse. Bright lights like a screen will keep you awake. Me? I just imagine the one person I care about most in the world and it kinda comforts me. Sounds a little psychotic, but it really helps.

I used to watch them, but I don't take the time anymore...too many bad memories. I think I'm gonna go cry now... :bawl:

Okay, as a DBZ *fanatic (not newbie, sorry mistype), I'm slightly terrified of watching new anime...I became so blatantly obsessed with DBZ I'm trying not to do that again. But! I was out of school, had nothing better to do, and I had taped Cowboy BeBop off of Adult Swim Thurs. (since I tape off of Midnight Run, I just let it keep going on Thursday) Anyway, the first ep I saw was Session 21. Not sure what the name was, but it had to do with the art of Fung-Shui. I was amazed! The series was a great cartoon about real people dealing with "real-life" situations (if you don't count the trip through hyperspace.) The second episode was Session 22, "Cowboy Funk". One word-FUNNY! From Teddy Bommer to Andy, the comboy with a striking resemblance to...uh...okay, forgot his name, but you know who it is if you've seen the show. I also caught Session's 23 and 24 on Sunday, which I was equally impressed with. Bottom line? If you haven't watched it yet, watch it. You're missing a great show. --JCBaggee

good to know your alright. And as long as you're with someone you can trust you should be fine. Good luck!

Whoops! Thought the symbols were okay! Lemme try this in a new, cleaner form... "Man, what's sad is there's someone out there gullible enough to believe this swill." Sorry! --JCBaggee

What?! Cops?! Bad news man. I don't know how that scenario will end, but if you want to talk, PM me...I'll listen to whatever you have to say. Whatever happens, someone will always care... --JCBaggee

Get her to register here and let us talk to her directly. I'm very good with counseling and I can probably help, but I have to talk to her directly.

The sad thing is, some gullible - believed these! Please watch your language. You're not allowed to use symbols either - Cloud

Yeah, what was the point of Garlic Jr. saga? If they were trying to show that Earth could get along without Goku, they did it much easier by having Gohan defeat Cell.

Goku denies his Saiyan heritage because of the pain they have caused others. Plus, he trained so long as a human, he just doesn't feel right calling himself anything but an Earthling. As for the Krillin...I, too, once had a shaved head, and that's what it is. Women love bald guys.
Originally posted by asar erm...correct me if i'm wrong, which i probably am..but did vegeta know that future trunks was his son...like, didn't trunks choose not to tell him so as to not prevent his birth from ever happening? i don't know that part too well, so feel free to correct me
Everyone knew who he was. I remember Piccolo spilling the beans while Trunks chased Vegeta to Dr. Gero's Lab. I don't know when or how Vegeta found out though...he thought to himself that Trunks was pretty fast because he was his son, but I don't remember anyone telling Vegeta before then that Trunks was indeed his son...so he might have just figured it out.

AAARRGGGHH!!! Didn't we just do this topic again?! No one knows, there's hundreds of theories and if you want to read mine, find the other topic! It's called Does Goten have a monkey's tail? but people STOP POSTING THIS QUESTION! Sorry...I'm done now.

Personally, I think that the whole Saiyaman Saga was to show how Gohan was coping with hiding his abilities in a world where he was stronger than the "worlds-strongest fighter" when he was 11...and they even tried to squeeze a little humor in there. No point, though, except to introduce Videl and bring up a reason to mention the Tournament, leading to inevitable return of Goku, yadda yadda yadda. Saiyaman Saga: The only thing worse than a bad story is no story...and there really was none.

It gets better, up until Vegeta squares off against Majin Buu. After that, I don't know, because Toonami is so friggin' tight with their episodes! C'mon...new eps! Please!

kinda sorta SPOILER!!!! A little help for defeating the GF inside of the Tomb of the Unknown King; the Brothers... 1) Your first battle is with the GF Minotaur. Not very hard. You may have noticed that the first draw point you saw contained a new spell FLOAT. Cast this on Minotaur. In order for him to heal himself, he must be in contact with the Earth, so this will prevent him from healing himself. 2) Your second battle is with Minotaur and his "big" brother, Sacred. Cast float on EVERYONE. On Sacred and Minotaur, they will be unable to heal themselves. On your party, you will be immune to Minotaurs ungodly powerful Mad Cow Special attack, since it is Earth-based. BONUS! --For defeating them, you'll receive their cards. With these two cards and strategic positioning, you can win almost any card game, but I'll let you figure that one out... --------------------------- Vegitto-- I tried to PM this to ya, but your PM mailbox is too full! Clear it out! Anyway, here's the answer to your PM question...
Vegitto4 wrote on 02-15-2002 06:13 PM: Hey, Where is the tomb of the unknown King. When you have to get that ID number
Okay, this could be tough without a map reference, but I'll try: First, buy a car in Deling City, then get on the road to where the front of the car is facing the city and the rear is above the train tracks. See the beach front? Drive their, then follow it up until it comes to a point and you will see a small building. That's the place. The ID number is on a Blue hilted sword which is about two screens inside of the tomb. In order to fight the brothers, you must... 1)Keep going right to prevent getting lost until you come to a "statue". This is Minotaur. Defeat him using the strategy I described in the earlier post. After defeating him, there will be a hidden save point: if you have the "Find" ability (or something like that)ability equipped, it will appear. Use it. 2)Keep going right. There are two switches you must set off to go further in. Once they have been set off, return to where you found the sword, then go into the center of the Tomb to find both Brothers. Defeat them using the strategy I described earlier. For defeating them, you will receive the Sacred and Minotaur cards, which are very useful in winning Triple Triad games. I'll let you figure out how though ;) If you have any more questions, either PM me or read my FF VIII walkthrough at http://www.geocities.com/jcbaggee/FFWINDEX.htm --JCBaggee I added your two posts together, in future don't double post-SG

More quotes from JCBaggee! "Is that all you got?" --Gohan about Cell's "ultimate" power "Kakkarot, why do you haunt me so? Because you defeated Frieza, the person who's enslaved me all my life? Because of your bold sacrifices? Noble Kakkarot, giving his life for those of his friends! Well it won't happen again! This time...I shall save this planet, not you Kakkarot!" --Vegeta during battle with Majin Buu (not the exact quote, but you get the picture) VEGETA--"Shut up! Shut up! Shut UP!! Did you forget?! I sold my soul to Bibbidi! I have a Saiyan heart which relies on strength alone!" GOKU--"Liar! I don't buy it! ...You can talk all you want Vegeta...but you'd better convince yourself of it first!" --Goku and Vegeta during their big battle, Majin Buu Saga(and my fave of the series!)
