Long ago, there was word of a GL movie, and they talked to a big writer about it (though its been so long since then, I can't remember who the writer was). Fortunatly...he backed out. The deal was he could make it, but only if the entire selling point of the movie was it starred Eddie Murphy. Personally, I have no preference to a color for my GL. A white Lantern is fairly traditional, but a black one can bring up interesting issues (discremination, etc.). No, I'm not the biggest fan of Jon Stewart, whether he be comic or cartoon, but he still deals with issues Hal and Kyle couldn't even dream about. --Chris[/color][/size]

[color=red][size=1][font=arial]I got excited when they added Morgan, to be quite honest. I've always liked her, and not just because she's friggin' hot. She was always great on The Screen Savers and her windows tips were quite helpful. The problem is, she kinda seems out of place on X Play. Sure, she's big into gaming and anime, but you can tell she's not used to scripted scenes, and her acting tends to be a bit stiff at times. There are those rare moments when she's energetic and bouncing off the walls where she seems to be more in place. Adam would be right at home if they'd let him be like he was on Extended Play. He was straight forward, cracked a joke or two, and got out what he thought about the game. Here he's made out to be some kind of sugar addicted gaming stereotype with an odd obsession to the term 'Dik Dik' (which is kinda fun to say). All in all, I'll still watch it. The reviews are still great and they have some of the more recent gaming info. Plus, some of the comedy segments actually turn out to be enjoyable, and the reviews themselves can be quite funny. --Chris[/color][/size][/font]

[color=red][size=1][font=arial]I was actually surprised bu FUNi's dub of movie 8. The first half of the movie was unusually acurate, and kept the characters intact (for the most part). The second half, however, altered the character of Brolli a little bit, adding lines that tried to make him humorous, but only came off as cheesy. And, I say again, I hated the titling. Something that should be harmless (online chat) is simply a breeding ground for pedophiles. But is that really the problem? Microsoft is doing the safe thing here. Because parents will be quick to sue if something happens to their child and shove the blame on someone else. But the question that most want to ask is "Why were you not supervising them?" Some kids need to be kept an eye on, younger ones especially. They don't know any better, and they can be easily fooled. And there are monsters out there who know this. As far as heavy moderation of chat room goes, thats going to be difficult. Sure, they can stop what happnes in the chat room, but they cannot control IM and PM systems, meaning that whoever is in there simply has to wait a little longer.
