Hello, I have a manga idea and I was wondering if you guys could help me. Well, here ya go. ?We will meet again girl. Maybe next time you?ll be able to beat me.? The yokai with eyes the color of blood said to a young miko of the age of six. The girl gritted her teeth. I have been training my miko skills with my master for as long as I was alive, but I still couldn?t defeat him. She hated herself at this moment. She had let her village down. The man left the girl stranded with no weapons. When she was sure he had left she ran through the village, searching for survivors. She found one man who had lived only because he was protected by her master. ?If I am not mistaken, you are the blacksmith. Do you have any remaining weapons?? The girl helped the man up and lead him into the blacksmith?s workshop. ?Komia - sama! I didn?t think he would spare your life! He took all weapons, but I can make you a blade.? Komia looked at the aging man. He had only a few hours left, but she could... no it would be to risky. ?That would be great sir. I will go look for more survivors. I expect that my blade will be done by sun down.? Without another word Komia was off searching for more survivors. She was the only elf in this village so she was very respected. Elves age just like yokai do. Yokai can still look sixteen at the age of six hundred. Komia was a very mature child, but she was always training so she never really had a childhood. She had never liked her master. He had actually whipped her once. She now had a long scar on her back. It was almost sun down and the only other survivors she had found were animals. ?Sir! I have returned for the promised blade. Blacksmith?? She wondered around the blacksmith?s workshop until she found a note. It read: Komia - san, I have very little time left and I wish to see my daughter before I pass. The blade that I promised is by my bed and I have even made it by sealing the soul of a beast in it?s very core. It is known as the blade of the wolf. If you have enough reason to, you can use an attack called Wolf?s Bite. Use this blade well. He did it. I didn?t think he?d live long enough to do anything but make the blade. He is a very strong. Komia thought as she grabbed the blade the old man had made her. ?I will get my revenge. I swear it. My village?s death will not be in vain.? The young miko said she walked off. Please tell me what you think

Well, you have a very strange (and strange is a good thing) style of writing. I would love to say that getting started is easy, but I would be lying. :catgirl: :animeswea

God I haven't been on in forever... anyway, I think you have a good plot for the characters. Open it with some sort of important moment, like the moment of first meeting, even if it does have to be a flash back. A lot of good manga artists do that and make sure the pervert and the lady killer are hot. :D

Whoa... Harsh. Anyway my favorite character is Sakaki because she isn't perfect like most people. She is very good at sports but she doesn't think much about it. She is very humble and is very cool. Azu Manga Daioh is very well drawn and my favorite comic strip is the one when the "new girl" comes in and the teacher calls her a little runt. Very funny. Teachers in that manga are even less mature than the students :D

Yes that is true. I can't tell where i am when i read it. It is, however a good story plot. Also you should start a new paragraph when someone speaks. It is what you are supposed to do when writing a story.

Oh there are many twists. I have already written four stories. I write out a script before i do the drawing. I just don't feel confident about my drawing so writing is very fun. ;)

Thanks for the idea's. I have only begun to tell you about my charcters. They have very interesting personalites. I hope other people reply and I will post some more soon. :D

Twelve huh? At that age I was already watching Inuyasha and Cowboy Bebop. (I'm a Bad girl) I think Cardcaptor Sakura. Sailor Moon *Shudders* Too... much... happiness and.... love defeats all crap. what about the cut version of Kenshin? When it was cut it was brought down to a Y-7. Ah.. the days when I watched patheticly cut anime. :rolleyes:

I really don't care if I get shot down. I mean if the greatist damn manga artist in th world shot me down I see it as "Hey at least he thought about it. If i had no talent what so ever then he would have just said no." Besides they're not going to have a guy with only half the drawing talent of another person that has talent just because they're american. Heh... translators are our friends.

I suppose I draw/ write manga because it gives me a way to express myself. My friend thinks I should go and be a prol because of the money, but I don't want to be a manga artist because of the money I want to be a manga artist because I could do the two things I love to do most of all as my job. Writing and drawing. ;)

I think it is a very nice plot. I do however think it needs a little more detail. And maybe instead of a blackhole some sort of disruption in the balance of time or some of that nonsense. ( I'm not really that smart^_~)

I agree. Very good idea. But why did he kill her family? Is he a mass murderer Or is a pshyco? Or is it not he who killed her family? A twisted plot is always fun :smirk:

Very interesting plot. A bit freaky, but in a good way. Kinda like battle royal. Disturbing, but still very interesting. (Sorry if you are hurt by the manga choosen to be compared by. I've said that to friends and well they don't like me that much anymore. I really mean it in a good way.) :D

I'm a little scared but i think i will post my manga idea up. So here it goes. It starts off in the house of a family of humans who have taken in a yokai child. In this village all men at the age of 16 are required to carry a sword in order to protect the village from yokia. Chiu, a 16 year old yokai is against killing and refuses to help protect the government that killed his foster father. His mother convinces him to at least go to the cermony and recive his blade. Once there, whle giving Chiu his blade, the master blacksmith tries to kill him, but Chiu's brother, Yungsung swiftly kills the man. The cermony goes on, but once at home Chiu finds out that he must go with his brother on a quest to kill his father who kill his real mother and tried to kill him. While traveling they meet a young 17 year old girl who is fighting a snake yokai. When she is injured Yngsung and Chiu try to help, but after the girl shoots the yokai with an arrow she tells them to stay out of her fights. Yungsung mentions their father, a yokai with eyes the color of blood and the girl, who we later learn her name is Komia, tags along to avenge her village. I have much more, but i want to see if you like it so far. If you don't like it please feel free to trample all over it. :D
