[B]Chapter 8: The Secret Of Viridian Forest[/B] Tydan and Brad got to Viridian Forest.They walked up the road that went through an old rusted gate and into the forest.They kept walking along the road.Then they came across track that went in another direction."Hey, why don't we come this way?"Brad said.Tydan looked up the track Brad was pointing to"What for?"Tydan said. "I dunno, just see what there is around here"Brad answered. "Yeah, okay"Tydan said.They walked up the track. "Hey, over here"Brad said.He was pointing to the entrace of a dark cave.They walked up to the cave entrance."Have ya got a flashlight?"Brad asked.Tydan got a small flashlight out of his backpack.Tydan gave it to Brad. "Want to see what's in here.I think I can see a shiny crystal rock in the wall just in there.Can you see it?"Brad said. "Yeah, I think so"Tydan answered. "I dunno about you, but I'm gonna see what it is"Brad said.Brad turned on the flashlight, and went into the dark cave.Tydan was about to say something, but he didn't.He decided to follow Brad. "Wow, what is this place?"Tydan asked in amazement. "You tell me, we'll both know"Brad said.Shiny crystal rocks jaggered out of the ground and walls.There were way more crystal rocks sticking out of the walls and ground then the two boys even thought there would be.They only wanted to get that one crystal rock sticking out of the cave wall near the entrance.But when they went in, more and more crystals appeared to be in the cave.They couldn't help themselves from having a look. "Lets get a few, and sell 'em"Brad said, with his voice echoing around the whole cave.Brad reached for a large crystal when a wild Sandslash attacked.Tydan didn't want to battle, but he had to.If he wanted to save his friend, he would have to battle.The Sandslash was slowly prowling closer to Brad. "Go, Ghastly!"Tydan yelled.Ghastly was released out of the pokeball, but it was so dark, nobody could see him.Not even Sandslash.Tydan wanted to point his pokedex at Sandslash, but he couldn't, as he couldn't see Sandslash, and he had dropped his flashlight. "Use faint attack!"ordered Tydan.Ghastly faint attacked Sandslash, and hit.Sandslash attacked furiously, but was doing nothing.He was attacking thin air, as he couldn't see Ghastly. "Ghastly, quick, use shadow ball!"yelled Tydan.Ghastly hit Sanslash with a shadow ball, and hit again.Sandlash stopped attacking thin air, and quickluy dug a hole underground.Sandslash was gone. "Hey man, I owe ya one"Brad said."Thanks for helpin' me get out of that trouble". "No problem, just don't try and take somethin' that you're not sure of next time, okay"Tydan said. "Yep"Brad said.They walked away from the cave, and started walking along the road out of Viridian Forest. But their adventure wasn't done in Viridian Forest yet.

[B]Chapter 7: A New Friend[/B] Tydan walked up to the speaker in the wall of the Pokemon Centre again.He said after the squeaky voice"I need to heal my pokemon".After the squeaky voice said he could go through, he walked to the camera operated door.The light flashed red, and the door opened.Then he went through to the counter. "Hi, how ma............haven't I seen you here before?"asked the lady. "Errrrr, yeah, I think so"Tydan said. "Well then, what can I do for you?"the lady asked. "Um, can you please heal my pokemon again?"Tydan asked the lady. "No, .........just joking.Of course you can.Pass them here"the lady said laughing.Tydan passed all his fainted pokemon in their pokeballs to the lady.She went over and healed them just like she did last time. Tydan came out of the Pokemon Centre.He looked around.All he saw was dead grass, sticky heat waves slowly rising off the ground, and a road that went around behind the Pokemon Centre.He decided to follow the road around behind the Pokemon Centre.He walked along the road, and around the building.He slowly walked along the road behind the building, and through a gate that went onto another road.He walked up to a sign beside the road, and read it.It said"Viridian Forest, straight ahead, Pewter City, through Viridian Forest."in big white letters.He decided to walk to Viridian Forest, and see what he could find. He walked up the road, and met a man.The man had called out to him, and said"Yo, mate, I just had a double shot of coffee, and I'm wired.I need someone to talk to, so you'll have to do". ".....Ok.a....y.."Tydan said as he didn't understand a word the man said. "I might not look like much now, but when I was your age, I was a complete hot shot.Do you believe me?"said the man. "...E..rrr...r..r, ....yea...h.."said Tydan, still not understanding. "Ahhhh, yes, yes, I was something out of the ordinary, I can tell you"the man said, thinking he was really good.The man finally let Tydan go. "Well, what was that all about?"Tydan asked himself.He walked up to a fence which had a sign saying"Viridian Forest, 1.5 km ahead"in big white letters, almost the same as the other sign back down the road.He walked through the gate a gate in the fence and started walking towards a big forest he could see just up the road. "Hey, what ya up too?"yelled a voice from a far distance ahead of him.Tydan strained his eyes to try and see who it was, but couldn't quite see."Not much"Tydan yelled back.Tydan still didn't know who it was. "Well, neither am I"the shadowy figure yelled back. "What's this guy on about"Tydan thought to himself.The shadowy figure came closer, and emerged from being a shadow to being a normal kid. "Where ya goin' "the kid said. "Well, I'm on my way to Viridian Forest"Tydan said. "Oh, I was too, but I lost my gold nugget when my Nidoran jumped out of its pokeball and took it.He hid it somewhere, and now I can't find.My Nidoran came back without it.So now I've come back to look for it.It's was worth about £1000"the kid said. "Um, did it look like this?"Tydan asked.He got the golden lump he found tied to the fence on the road from Pallet Town to Viridian City out of his backpack. "Ahhhh, that's the one"the kid said happily.Tydan gave it to the kid. "Thanks"said the kid. "I thought it was worth a fair bit"Tydan said. "Well, I better get back to my journey"said the kid. "Yeah, I better too.I just started today"Tydan said. "Really, so did I"the kid said. "Cool.Maybe we should become mates, you know, go around Kanto as friends"Tydan said. "Yeah, righto, how about we do?"asked the kid. "Fine with me.Lets make it a yes"Tydan said. "But before we go, what's your name?"Tydan asked. "Oh, my name's Brad"said the kid. "Mine's Tydan"said Tydan. "I think we better get goin' then Tydan"said Brad.They started walking towards Viridian forest.

[B]Chapter 6: A Turn Around[/B] "Metapod, go!"yelled Ryan. "Go, Ghastly!"yelled Tydan. "Quick, Metapod, use string shot!"Ryan told Metapod.Metapod shot a line of string at Ghastly, but it didn't affect Ghastly. "What?!"yelled Ryan.Tydan could see that Ryan was going to be unfair. "Ha!Ghastly, use shadow ball!"Tydan yelled.Ghastly powered a shabow ball at Metapod, and hit hard.A critical hit!Metapod fainted. "No.....how could it be?!"Ryan shouted. "Yeah!"Tydan yelled at his brother. "Now you're dead, Tydan!"Ryan said to Tydan just so he could barely hear it. "Pichu, go!"Ryan yelled. "Quick, here!"Ryan said to Pichu.Pichu went over to him, and Ryan gave him something. "Right, use thunder shock!"Ryan yelled.Pichu jumped up and thunder shocked Ghastly.Somehow, it hit Ghastly hard enough, and made him faint. "Hey, not fair!You gave Pichu somethin'.What is it?"Tydan asked loudly. "For me to know, and you not to know!"Ryan said at the top of his voice. "You unfair low-life........!"Tydan was about to finish his sentence when Ryan butted in. "Don't say it, just don't say it!"Ryan said. "You're in for it, mate!"Tydan shouted. "Quick, Yanma, go!"yelled Tydan. "Now, Pichu, use thunder shock again!"Ryan demanded.Pichu used thunder shock again, and made Yanma faint. "What the hell!!!!"Tydan shouted. "Diglett, you're my last chance, go!".Tydan sent out Diglett.It now had started to rain.Lightning flashed, and thunder roared. "Diglett, use rock throw, now!"Tydan yelled.Diglett dropped a bunch of heavy rocks on Pichu.Pichu was hit, and was now on low health. "Quick, Pichu, use thunder shock!"Ryan yelled.Pichu thunder shocked Diglett.Diglett fainted, but how?Electric moves don't affect ground or rock type pokemon. "How the heck did that happen?!"Tydan shouted at Ryan. "Yes, yes, yes, yes!I won, I won!"Ryan shouted. "Yeah, but you cheated somehow!"Tydan shouted. "No I didn't!You just lost"Ryan shouted back. "Bull crap!You cheated!"shouted Tydan. "No I didn't!"Ryan shouted again. "Now hand over the money!"Ryan said.Tydan had no choice but to give him his prize.An unfairly won prize.Tydan could just watch as Ryan walked off with the money.But he saw something.It fell out of Ryan pocket.A remote control or something.Tydan went over to look. Tydan picked up the control.It had sparks flying out of it from the rain, and was no good for use anymore.Tydan quickly put it down.He bent over and had a close look at it.It had a label on it that said"Move Energizer.Use only for powering up."in red letters.Tydan knew what it was.It was a control that made the moves that pokemon use boost up to maximum power.He had seen how it works on television.Now he knew how Ryan had won."That cheater!"Tydan shouted to himself. Tydan would get his brother back, and when he least expected it.But for now, Tydan had to go and heal all his pokemon.

[B]Chapter 5: Brother Vs Brother[/B] Tydan walked through the entrance gate to Viridian City."Never been here before"he said to himself.He looked around, and saw a Pokemon Centre, Pokemon Mart, and about 5 houses lined up against a back fence.He needed to heal his pokemon, so he headed towards the Pokemon Centre. "Reason..you..are..entering?"squeaked a speaker in the wall. "Errrr, I need to heal my pokemon"said Tydan.He didn't know that all the Pokemon Centres in Kanto had these speakers."Please..enter"squeaked the speaker again.Tydan slowly walked to the camera operated doors.The camera above the door flashed a red light, and the doors opened.Tydan walked to the counter inside. "Hi.How may I help you?"asked the lady behind the counter. "Um, can I please heal my pokemon"Tydan said politely. "Yes you can.Please hand over your pokemon"the lady said. Tydan handed over three pokemon, and the lady took them over to a big machine.She put the pokemon onto a large platform.She pressed a button, and the platform slowly went around the machine.Then the lady pressed another button, and the three pokeballs were zapped.After that, the lady picked them up, and gave them back to Tydan."Um, how much does it cost?"asked Tydan. "Oh, it doesn't cost anything, it's free!"said the lady. "Really"said Tydan. "Yes, it is"the lady said. "Cool!"Tydan said.He thanked the lady, and walked out of the Pokemon Centre. "Right, now what do I need to do"he thought."That's it.I need to buy some things"he said to himself.He started walkind towards the Pokemon Mart, when someone called out to him."Hey, Tydan, what a'ya doin' "the voice said.Tydan looked around, and saw his brother, Ryan."Great, this is all I need"Tydan said aloud so Ryan could hear."What?"Ryan said. "Nothin'.What did ya call me for?"Tydan asked. "Not much.I wanted to ask ya somethin' "Ryan said. "What then"Tydan said. "HOW THE HELL DID YOU GET UP SO EARLY!!!!"Ryan yelled in Tydan's ear. "Holy crap, you didn't have to yell ya know!"Tydan said loudly. "Well?!"Ryan said loadly back. "I set my alarm clock"Tydan said. "So did I, but mine didn't go off"Ryan said angrily. "So, what do ya want me to do about it?Tydan said. "Well, you can't do nothin' now, but I want somthin' "Ryan said. "What.....?"Tydan asked. "A battle!"Ryan said in Tydan's ear, but not nearly as loud as last time. "And what happens if I don't want a battle?"Tydan asked. "Well too bad, I do, and that's what it's gonna be!"Ryan said loudly. "MMWWAAHHAHAHAHAHA!YOU DON'T STAND A CHANCE....................................................................what pokemon have ya got?"Tydan asked after an outburst of laughter. ".......Hey, don't laugh at me, mate!I've got a Pichu, and a Metapod!"Ryan said with power. "Ha........haha..............hahaha....hahahahahahaha!"Tydan laughed at his older brother."Well, guess what, you're gonna lose!Tydan yelled. A storm roared over head as they went into battle.

Geez, now that that's over, I heard that you **could** get a rom download of Pokemon Diamond, even though it might be fake. If anyone knows, where do I get that rom? [B]Chapter 4: The Fight[/B] "Kakuna, go!"yelled the boy. "Ghastly, go!"shouted Tydan.Ghastly was on about half health from the battles before. "Quick, Kakuna, use string shot!"Kakuna shot out a lengthy piece of string and tried to wrap it around Ghastly.But it didn't affect him.The string just went straight through him. "Okay, Ghastly, use lick!" ordered Tydan.Ghastly floated over behind Kakun.Then, without Kakuna knowing that Ghastly was behind him, Ghastly slurped a big poisonous lick up the back of Kakuna.Now Kakuna was badly paralyzed. "Oh no!Quick, Kakuna, use harden!".Without getting fully paralyzed, Kakuna went bright yellow and turned rock hard. "Rhight.Ghastly, use curse!"said Tydan.Ghastly exploded into a bright flash of white, then reappeared out of thin air!Ghastly lost a bit of his health.Now Kakuna would lose a bit of his every turn he had. "Kakuna, use poison sting!"the boy yelled.But Kakuna was fully paralyzed, so he couldn't proceed with his move properly.Kakuna lost a bit of his health again. "Yes!Now, Ghastly, use shadow ball!"Tydan yelled.Ghastly shot a shadow ball at Kakuna, and Kakuna fainted. "Go, Metapod!".The boy sent out Metapod. "Quick, Ghastly, use faint attack!"yelled Tydan.Ghastly speared at Metapod, and hit. "Noooo"yelled the boy.Metapod had fainted. "Come on, Butterfree, go!"shouted the boy. "Ghastly, return!"Tydan yelled.He held out a pokeball and clicked the button.The pokeball opened and swallowed up Ghastly. "Go, Yanma!"shouted Tydan. "Butterfree, use confusion!"the boy yelled.A big fuzzy flash of purple and white light protruded from Butterfree.I came over around Yanma, and confused him. "Yanma, use tackle!"yelled Tydan.Yanma attacked Butterfree, without getting hurt in his confusion.A critical hit!Butterfree was on very low health. "Butterfree, use stun spore!"shouted the boy.A shower of fluffy looking stuff fell on Yanma.But it didn't effect him! "Yes!Quick, Yanma, use poison sting!"yelled Tydan.Yanma launched a poisonous sting at Butterfree from close range.It hit and made Butterfree faint! The battle had been won by Tydan. "Yes, yes, yes, just too good!"he shouted in the boy's face.The boy said nothing."Come on, pay up.I was just too good, and you were too easy!" he shouted again.The boy held out the fast ball, along with some money. "What's the money for?"Tydan asked. "What, huh, what do ya mean?Don't you know what the money's for?"said the boy breathing heavily. "No!"said Tydan. "Oh, man, you dunno nothin'.It's the rule.You have to pay money to the other trainer if you lost.If you're caught not paying up, you get banned from pokemon training.It's the law!"said the boy, as if he was really important. "Ohhhh, right, cool!"said Tydan laughing.Tydan took the fastball and the money from the boy. "Thanks"Tydan said. "Huh, really funny.I'm not comming near you you again"said the boy. Tydan had earned a fastball and £1043.He thought it was a tough battle, even though he said it was easy to that boy.He started heading for the entrance gate to Viridian City.He needed to get there to buy a few potions and some other gear.

[B]Chapter 3: The Start To A Battle[/B] Tydan had now caught a Ghastly and a Yanma.He thought he needed more pokemon to beat the first gym.And he was right.He needed at least four pokemon to have a chance against the gym leader Brock.And Tydan only had two.He needed to catch another two. Tydan crawled around in the grass again.It didn't take long until he encountered a wild Diglett."Now this is a pokemon that I need!"said Tydan.He took out his pokedex and pointed it at Diglett.It said"Diglett.A ground type pokemon.The pre-evolution of Dugtrio.Loves to dig tunnels and lives underground".Tydan put back his pokedex and threw a pokeball."Ghastly, go"he shouted. "Quick, Ghastly, use shadow ball, now!".Ghastly shot a shadow ball at Diglett.Diglett was hit.A critical hit!Diglett had nearly fainted when Tydan threw an empty pokeball at him.This time, Diglett was swallowed up into the pokeball.Diglett was caught.He now had three pokemon, Ghastly, Yanma, and Diglett. Tydan didn't know what moves his pokemon knew.So he decided to find out.He got out his pokedex.Then he got out his three pokeballs and let out his pokemon.He pointed the pokedex at every one of them, and found their attacks in their stats.Now he knew what moves his pokemon had. Tydan walked up the road from Pallet Town and where he caught two wild pokemon.He was heading for Viridian City, when he saw something shiny hanging off the old grey wooden fence that surrounded the road that went from Pallet Town to Viridian City.He couldn't just walk off not knowing what it was.So he went over to where it was. "What the hell?"said Tydan to himself. "What is this?".It was a shiny gold lump hanging off the fence by some string."Geez, it could be worth a fair bit"he said.He grabbed the string it was hanging off and broke it off.He put the gold lump into his backpack and kept walking to Viridian City. "Hey, where ya goin' "yelled someone across the road.Tydan looked over the road and saw that someone was walking over to him."What do you want?"asked Tydan."Nothin'.I just want a battle"he said. "Well, ....I don't..know".said Tydan nervously. "Orrrr, come on.Just a quick battle"he said sheepishly."How about we make it interesting.Whoever wins the battle, gets to keep this".The boy held out a weird looking pokeball.Tydan looked at it."What is it?"asked Tydan. "It's a fastball"said the boy."It catches pokemon that have good speed and can get away easily".Tydan thought about it for a minute.Then he thought if he wanted to catch a good pokemon, this might be the chance to get one."Righto.I'll give you battle, but if I win, you have to give me that fastball you have.You can't just run off with it!"said Tydan. "Sure" said the boy. The battle had began.

[B]Chapter 2: The First Capture[/B] Tydan had already packed his bag to go on his journy around Kanto.And he had only gotten his first pokemon about an hour.He was so excited that he couldn't wait to get out there.He packed a portable phone, a map of Kanto, some clothes, 5 empty pokeballs, and about £10000 to get him started.The money was for him to buy food and gear to take care of his pokemon. He got his bag zipped up, and went into the lounge room.He said goodbye to his dad, and his dad wished him farewell.Then he went into the kitchen and said goodbye to his mum.His mum followed him outside and wished him farewell."Goodbye, I'll miss you.Keep ringing me on your phone" yelled his mum as Tydan left on his journey. "Bye" yelled Tydan. Tydan was now on his journey.He had his backpack on his back, his pokeball on his belt, and was ready to battle.First of all, he wanted to go to to the exit way of Pallet Town so he could battle some wild pokemon.He started walking towards the exit way when he saw his brother, Ryan, running towards Prof. Oak's lab."He must have just woken up.I bet his going to get his first pokemon just now"Tydan thought.Tydan didn't bother about him, and just kept walking. He got to the exit of Pallet Town.He went to plot of grass which was about 4 hectares wide.He took off his backpack and left it on the ground beside the old wooden fence that went around Pallet Town.Then he crawled into the grass with his Ghastly, and 5 empty pokeballs.He crawled around for a while when a wild Yanma attacked.Quickly Tydan got out his pokedex and pointed it at Yanma.The pokedex said"Yanma.A flying and grass type pokemon.Yanma has strong attack, but low defence". Tydan was shocked at how the pokedex worked.He was very surprised.But he got over that.He now wanted to catch that Yanma."Ghastly, go!"he yelled as he chucked the pokeball Ghastly was in over beside the wild pokemon Yanma.The pokeball opened and a purple ray shot out.Then Ghastly appeared."Quick, Ghastly, use an attack"said Tydan foolishly.He didn't know what moves Ghastly had.Ghastly used shadow ball, and the Yanma was hit.Then Yanma jumped back at Ghastly and used poison sting.But it did little damage to Ghastly."Now, Ghastly, use shadow ball again"yelled Tydan.Ghastly powered out another shadow ball, and hit Yanma again.Yanma was now on low health, and Tydan thought that he should try and catch it.He through an empty pokeball at the Yanma.The pokeball opened up, and a purple ray shot out.Yanma vanished in the purple ray and was swallowed into the pokeball.The pokeball wobbled around a bit, and then stopped."Yeah!"yelled Tydan at the top of his voice.He had now caught a Yanma.

[B]Chapter 1: The Begining[/B] "Brrrrrriiiiinnnnnnnngggg".Tydan awoke with a jolt.He looked at his alarm clock.Then he grabbed it and threw it at the wall."Stupid clock, why did it go off so early?"he asked himself.He wondered why, but then he remembered. "Aha!"he yelled.He got changed, grabbed an apple for breakfast, and ran out the door."See ya mum, dad!"he shouted.He ran towards Pofessor Oak's lab. "Hey, Professor Oak, I'm here!"he yelled across the lab. "Huh, what, who!".Professor Oak hit his head on a shelf when Tydan had yelled for him."Yes, I'm in the testing area"Prof. Oak said rubbing his head. Tydan raced to the back of the lab, and around the line of book stands."Hi!"he said to Prof. Oak. "Why are you here so early?"Prof. Oak asked. "Ummm, because I was just so excited on getting my first pokemon, I could hardly wait"he said excitedly."I set my alarm clock early so I could get here before my brother, Ryan". Prof. Oak looked surprised, but then took Tydan to where the pokemon were. "You can choose out of these four pokemon.Pichu, Pidgey, Ghastly, or Spearow?"said Prof. Oak. Tydan carefully thought about it, then made his decision."I'll take Ghastly"he said with enthusiasm. "Right, then, here you go".Prof. Oak picked up a pokeball from the table they were standing next to.Then he gave it to Tydan. "Wow, I've actually got my very own pokemon.Yeah!"Tydan yelled with excitement. "Oh, before you leave, I want you to have this"said Prof. Oak. "What is it?"asked Tydan. "It's a Pokedex.It automatically stores data on any pokemon you see.All you have to do is point it at the pokemon". Tydan looked at it."This is cool!Thanks for that". Prof. Oak looked at Tydan."Have a good journey, my boy.I see a pokemon master in you.Try to catch all the pokemon you can!".Tydan could see that Prof. Oak would miss him. "See you later, and don't worry, I will come back as a pokemon master!"Tydan said with confidence. Tydan slowly walked back to where he lived.All he did was stare at the pokeball his very own pokemon was in all the way home.Once he got to his house, he yelled out "mum, dad, guess what?I got my first pokemon!".His mum came out of the kitchen to him, but his dad just sat in the lounge room watching television. "What happened?"asked his mum. "I got my first pokemon" Tydan looked up at his mum."Oh, I knew that.You told me a few days ago that you had an appointment with Professor Oak.What I meant was what pokemon did you pick?"his mum said. "I picked Ghastly!"Tydan said. "Oh, ......Ghastly,.....I.........see" his mum said startled. "What, don't you like Ghastly?"asked Tydan. "Umm,.......not....that..much"his mum said still startled. "I......don't....really .......like..ghost...type..pokemon". "Oh well, it isn't your pokemon, so you don't have to worry about it"Tydan said. His mum said"Yes, I know that, and I suppose you're right". His mum walked off, back into the kitchen.

Righto, i see that most people here like it, so i'm going to start posting up the chapters to the story, okay? But i'll put it in another thread, called Tydan The Pokemon Master. That's going well, a good story.but is that the whole thing, or just the start of it?

He slowly walked up to the huge entrance door.Above the door was a sign saying Welcome to Pewter City Gym.He was shaking, but anxious to get started.He opened the door and followed the roll of red carpet up to a battle field.Brock was already standing in the square on one side of the field.Tydan guessed the other side would be where he had to stand.He started walking towards the square. "Are you ready for battle?" said Brock.His voice echoed around the room."Yes"said Tydan in a shaking voice."Be prepared to see the power of the rock hard defense and attack"Brock said strongly.A siren sounded and the battle began.
