Disturbed are a great band. "Fear" and "The Game" are awesome songs. I never really would've picked them being religious at all. That's new to me.

I do. With my social life. At school. I know I need better time-management. In fact, I have no time-management skills. I know I could manage my time better if I wanted to, but I don't, and probably won't for a while to come. I could act more mature at school, but I don't really care. At the moment my social life is more important than nearly everything else. I know it shouldn't be. But it is. And I'd have a very hard time changing the fact.

What would you classify your clothing style as?
Fall replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in General Discussion
I always wear baggy jeans, everyday. My jeans are my pride and joy. I can't wear anything else, mainly because I look out of whack when I'm not wearing jeans. I've got a pair each of Diesel, Dada, Sean Johns, and Roca Wear jeans, each costing me around $150. My Roca Wear pair are worth $210. Most of my other jeans were around $100. I've never really spent under $90 on a pair of jeans. Button-up shirts are a usual with a t-shirt underneath, sometimes just 2 t-shirts instead. I don't take as much seriousness in the shirts I wear as much as I do in my jeans, but I buy shirts that suit me. I'm big on the button-up shirts. The most I've ever thrown onto a button-up shirt wouldv'e been my Rusty button-up, $120. I haven't really seen any other button-ups that have been priced above $120 that I like, or are worth it. I'm pretty big on my clothes, nearly all of my weekly pay goes into clothing. I wear the brands. Not that I'm filthy rich and have to try and be cool. I like whats in the brand names. -
Kurt Cobain. He's music was like no other, the best, ever. Every bit of music Nirvana played, I love. I'll be listening to their music till the day I die. Kurt Cobain lived by music, and you can't half tell. He's music was and is awesome. And always will be.

I've got a Blind Hangman deck, and a Blind Reaper Mini which I got about 2 weeks ago. That fact that it's a Mini is distracting my skating style, but I'm starting to get a hold of it. I'm too attached to my Hangman. Kickflips, heelflips, boardslides, 50-50s, the basic lot. . The hardest stunt I've ever landed... handplant... because it took me 3 months to get it. I'm better at street-skateboarding and on the halfpipe than I am anywhere else. I can carve up stalls, rock and rolls, 50-50 stalls, tail stalls (and kickflip out of it), and blunt stalls... Grinds... feeble grinds, nose/board/lip/bluntslides.. the most hardest slide I've pulled off wouldv'e been the F/S 180 nose blunt I managed at the skatepark in town. Once, and once only. I haven't tried it since, mainly because I can see myself getting seriously ashed.

Are you sick? As in with a disease or illnes or flu?
Fall replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in General Discussion
Nothing worth mentioning. I've got a cough that's acting like it's here to stay, but that's probably from smoking. I have a problem with my right eye, it's not serious, not even enough for me to care about. I have Kenerticonus in my right eye. It's where your eyeball gets a lump on its surface due to the inside of it pushing it out. It distorts your vision if its in a bad spot, as like mine case, where it covers nearly half the colured part of my eye. It can be caused by smoking (never wouldv'e guessed.. :drunk:) or too much pressure being put on the eye (rubbing constantly, contact lenses). Mine is caused by wearing my contacts for too long-a-periods of time, and smoking. It distorts my vision slightly. I now have to wear stronger contacts, that are the level below glass contacts and a level above the soft plastic contacts. They're made out of something that feels like the plastic coke botles are made out of. They should stop my case getting worse. If I hadn't gone for an eye-test when I did, the Kenerticonus would be bad, and my right eye would be straining to see. And if I didn't get the contacts I have now to stop it, it could have spread to my left eye, as like most cases... funny thing is, Kenerticonus is apparently hereditry, but there is not one case of it in my family. -
I never used to like Greenday that much at all, I never really took that much notice of them, they seemed like a typical punk-rock band to me. They're new album, American Idiot, actually has some alright songs on it, from what I hear. Boulevard Of Broken Dreams, Holiday. Great songs. To me it sounds like they're slowly moving away from the punk-rock scene..

All my favourite songs are my favourite because they mean something to me. Usually how I relate to them. The music mostly, but also the singing and lyrics. Staind - Outside: One of my favourite songs. Just describes how I felt when this one person ****** me over. So bad I'll never forget it. "But I'm on the outside And I'm looking in I can see through you See your true colors.. 'Cause inside you're ugly You're ugly like me I can see through you See to the real you.." Metallica - The Memory Remains: My all-time favourite song. The music and lyrics blend together. It sets my mood. I can't go a day without listening to this song. "Drift away Fade away Little tin goddess.. Ash to ash Dust to dust Fade to black.. Fortune, fame Mirror vain Gone insane Fortune, fame Mirror vain Gone insane But the memory remains.." KoRn - Thoughtless: Another one of my favourite songs. I can relate to this song very easily.. Mostly to do with the girlfriends I've had in the past. "All of my hate cannot be bound I will not be drowned By your thoughtless scheming So you can try to tear me down Beat me to the ground I will see you screaming.."

Dubbo, Australia. Worst place to live, ever. It's basically in the middle of nowhere, excluding the dead little country towns surrounding it. It's so hot here. And when winter comes, it's the dryest cold you'll ever feel. It's alright when you know the places to go and the places to be at the right time, and it's got the highest population of teenagers of all NSW "rural communities". But any other town is far more fun to be in when you live in Dubbo for 16 years.

There's no way we could live in town again. We moved from town about ten year ago to a large block of land about 15 kays out. There is not one day that goes without a punch-up between my younger brothers, or an arguement between my parents. Plates are thrown, glasses are smashed, cars a driven at high speeds out from our driveway. If we lived in town again, people would think they're living nextdoor to hell. I'm used to it. I don't care.

A VL Commodore. All the music I want, I get. And unlimited credit on my mobile phone. I'm sure I'd find my own way home.

Does anyone have eyes that change colour????
Fall replied to Heero Darkangel's topic in General Discussion
I don't really care if it's scientific or to do with "lighting conditions" or can't happen or whatever, but my eyes go darker and lighter too. I did hear about the hair "losing pigment" thing on a TV show though. I've seen my eyes dark brown, like a black-brown colour, and it always seems to be when I'm angry, stressing out. But the rest of the time my eyes are a like a woody brown. If it wasn't for mum I wouldn't have ever known.. ha. -
I have a job at Hungry Jack's. Yep. Nah, it's a pretty good job for a fast-food shop, put it that way. I've made $342 at the most, but I worked a sixty hour week that week on an hourly wage of $5.48 or somethin'. With school. And I never want to do that again. I was stressed to the max, smoking over my limits, going off at everyone when they did nothin' wrong. That's wat no sleep does to you. Ha. :drunk:

We have a uniform at our school, but we still have the labels. The run on more on what you look like, and what you act like, other than what you wear. Basically, there's the three main groups, from top to bottom. There's about 20,000 labels in these groups though, ha. I've done pretty well for myself in the label part at this school, can't wait for the yet another school I'm at next year.. :drunk:

The fact is, no matter how much you hate this poor person, you're never gonna forget them. I've only ever snapped a few times, as in getting so damn angry I lose control of my actions. But the thing is, I've ended up talking to some of them again. I think the thing that stops anyone from fully exploding and burning up in hate is that deep down, they know they're not gonna hate them forever. You might not like someone forever, but hating... you can't hate someone forever. ...none of this video-game ********.

My opinion is upside-down. Everyone I know that has used eBay, has hd no problems at all. But me, I've have had nothing but problems. Well not me, my mum. She's ordered two things off eBay, and has never received them, but she's lost all the money. I really don't know what to expect whenever we order something from eBay. except to expect that we won't get what we ordered.
But if the world ends in a few centuries or more then I think that we will be able to assimilate another planet to call home.
Either that, or we're gonna have the high-tech machines and technology that will be able to stop the world ending at all... the way technology's going these days, it won't be long before we're living on the moon.

We're actually just getting into summer right now. It's spring now, and it's pretty damn hot already. I remember about 3 summers ago, during the Christmas holidays, we went on a holiday to the nicest place in Australia as I'd put it. Port Macquarie, up on the coast. I still remember that place like nothing else, and I wish I was still there. I'm moving there when I move out of home, and nobody's stopping me. Since then, all my summers have been boring. Or you could say they've been the same as winter, autumn and spring... seeing as we don't have "summer vacation" or anything...

I never used to like KoRn, I used to think their music was kind of dark. Though then I heard more of their music and not all of it is heavy and deep like most of their songs. "Make Me Bad" is probably my favourite song from KoRn. "Blind", "Dead Bodies Everywhere", "Freak On A Leash", all mad songs.
-
We'll most likely have the technology to stop the end of the world by the time it actually happens. Some mad machine that can freeze time and stop the core of the Earth from over-heating and detonating a huge heatwave burning the planet to ash... however the Earth is gonna end, we'll have something bigger and badder than we've ever imagined yet that'll be able to stop it.

I agree with MistressRoxie. It sounds as if everyone replying to TOTALIMMORTAL's topic is certain about him not being ready, and if he goes ahead with having sex, he's life is gonna come crashing down and hit him in the back of the head and leave him wishing he never even thought of it. Of course, this can happen, and there's more of a chance it will happen than not, considering these "hormone levels" and ****. But after all this, do you still think you are ready, TI? If you feel you are, and your girlfriend is in the same situation, there's nothing stopping you. Though you and your girlfriend have to realise the consequences that can be landed. I'm not going to list all the bad things and whatever, 'cause I was the same a year ago, and still you and me think alike. I'm relating to you like I know you as a best friend. I myself can say I didn't listen to my friends and advice being thrown at me, hardly any as it may have been, and I've had no consequences on me yet. Now I'm not saying "you follow me", 'cause I shouldn't be doin' it, neither should anyone else our age. But it's hard, I know, and feelings and **** can **** everything up. Been there. Just don't let yourself get lead-on easily, and don't lead anyone else on just for the sake of it. If you's are both ready, and you's are sure of it, it's your's and your girlfriend's choice, not mine. Or anyone else's. Just take care in choice you and your gf make. Whatever your choice man, I'm behind ya.

"Somebody Told Me" is the first I've heard of The Killers. Lately I've been listening to a bit of their other music, and their good. I've already bought the single of their hit, I'm very close to buying the debut CD they've put out.

I always get that... Well not always. But I tend to get these 'malfunctions' when I'm very nervous. I often get nervous alot when I'm talking to someone I don't know very well, and I talk to someone new nearly every day. Someone will try and spark up a conversation, we'll talk for a bit, then all will go quiet because I've got nothing to say and I'm staring into 'blankness'. I notice when it happens as soon as I come back to reality. I've never really been embaressed by it, mainly 'cause I'm so used to it that it's nothing to me anymore.
-
It happens. Any guy would get pretty damn jealous if his girlfriend had a heap of mates that were boys. I get jealous when my girlfriend hangs around with a few boys. But I have to trust her. He mightn't trust you. You might have to assure him that he can trust you and ensure to him that nothing is happening or is going to happen.

Internet culture: Is it causing anti-social behavior?
Fall replied to Panda's topic in General Discussion
People can get very attached to the Internet. So attached that they start to spend nearly all day on the computer. And that's when, what can I call it... a "problem" starts. Withdrawal symptoms, when you've got no access to the Internet or a computer. This, if you ask me, is the big draw-back of getting very involved in the online-world. It happens to anyone... it happened to me ages ago. I think the Internet can affect someone's social behaviour, more in the way they talk over the way they act. When you start talking to people with words like "lol" and "brb" is when you've got something to sort out. Not wanting to talk to anyone, even your friends, or maybe only wanting to talk to them about computer related crap, you know..? Withdrawal symptoms can affect your lifestyle for a period of time, for a short time or long time. Doesn't matter how, but it can change the way you go about things while you go through it. :smoke:
