The main thing for a band to work is a love for music. If three band members want the music and the fourth member is just there for the heck of it, it ain't gonna work. Simple as that. Every member of the band has to work to keep going. Friendship is important. No friends, always fighting. And a similar taste in music. There has to be a strong leaning towards a type of music. Rock, metal, RnB, rap, whatever, aslong as each member knows what they're working towards and want to achieve. One rapper, one rocker, and a headbanger, ain't really gonna make a great sounding band. It can work, but I gotta say, it'd be damn different. By the way, your sig's outta "Peace Sells" by Megadeth, isn't it? That's a mad song.. :smoke:

I've been pushed to the limit alot of times in my life, half the time I've crossed the line and done something stupid as a result. Though I suppose the time that really dints my memory, is when I went through a depression period. I was drepressed to put it simply. The little things that anyone could just scratch off pushed me over the top. Atleast once a week something was too much for me, and I snapped. My family, friends, girlfriends, all felt the impact. When I think about it, depression was the one thing that pushed me to the limit and over, and that limit is the one thing I don't want to cross again.

Who would you take a bullet for and who would you die for?
Fall replied to Krycifer's topic in General Discussion
That's a very hard question, you know. Whatever you say now, it's all gonna change when something like this actually does happen. I know it would for me, atleast. The thought of actually dieing for someone else would really hit me then, and I'd most likely have second thoughts. My mum and dad, I can say I'd take a bullet for, without any hesitation. The same for my family. My friends have a place in there aswell. But I honestly cannot give a straight answer. Like I said, it would all really hit me when it actually does happen. That's when I'd make a decision. This isn't a ''thinking'' decision for me, I can't plan out and say who I would and wouldn't die for. -
I would most likely go insane from being too lonely, more than anything else. There's no way I could spend anything even close to a week's length in time alone. I'd hate it. If I wasn't going insane or loosing my mind soon enough, I'd probably end up killing myself from lack of company. Going insane would keep me occupied enough. I'd need some kind of occupation, or someone else's company, to keep me sane. There's no way I would survive a week stranded on an island. No way.
I dunno any underground rock bands but I know a ton of underground punk bands. Just about every real punk band starts underground. Listen to The Misfits, they're one of the best punk bands of all time, and theres Dropkick Murphys, Pennywise, Circle Jerks, Danzig, Samhain, Dead Kennedys, The Descendents, The Adoloscents, Exploited, hell even Social Distortion started underground but they're pretty popular now. I also suggest listening to Rage Against the Machine, they're not too popular either.
Rage Against The Machine are an awesome rock/punk rock band. Some of their best music is from when they were actually mainly an underground band. While most rock bands that go mainstream from underground tend to change their sound and music, RATM have kept their style of music, something I haven't seen very much. RATM have some great music behind them if you ask me.

Sonic Youth is the only underground rock band that I've actually taken the time to look into. They're alright. Though some of the mainstream rock/metal bands around now, were really big underground before they made into the mainstream. Marilyn Manson, Megadeath are two awesome bands, and they spent quite a bit of time in the underground part of music.
...isn't the lead singer of the Rasmus male? I don't particularly like them, so I might be wrong, but...
I'm sorry, I should have put more wording into my post. Before they became "The Rasmus", they were known as "Zero Knot" (translated to English, the original name was Finnish). This was when they had a lead female singer, her name Sammy Wiltmore. When she left the band, they changed their name to "The Rasmus" (also Finnish) with their new lead singer (Lauri) joining the band. ...I've got no idea how come I keep thinking they still have a female lead singer. Sorry 'bout that.
Also, have you ever had that common dream where your teeth are falling out? Apparently a lot of people have that one. I hate that dream. V_V
There's a dream I get all the time, where I'm falling through the air at about 9 o'clock at night, down to the streets below me, and all I can see is the tall buildings around me sliding up real fast, all streaks of light and all lit up from the lights on inside the small little rooms inside them. In a huge city... I've always thought it was Sydney or NY.Before I hit the ground, I wake up, every, single time with a shock, jolting up to sit upright in my bed with my nerves racing like nothing else. A few of my friends have this dream too, apparently. I remember hearing somewhere, saying that re-occuring dreams that have something to do with falling, pain, sadness is because you feel like there's something wrong in your life, but you don't know what it is and don't know what to do about it. ...now that I think about it... I'd have to say this dream is my most memorable dream. I haven't had it for a while now... but for some reason I've got a damn good feeling that it's not far away from hitting me again.

Rasmus are a good rock band with a lead female singer. "In The Shadows" is a hit that they produced a while ago. Evanescence is an awesome band. The lead singer in Evanescence, Amy-Lee, is a great singer. Seeing as you don't like pop, don't bite my head off. But Britney Spears has the most beautiful voice I've ever heard. "Everytime" just goes to show she has an amazing voice.

What do you find attractive? [Threads merged]
Fall replied to MaxSonic's topic in General Discussion
I'm not listing anything. I'm not picky. Not too picky. I'd just like a good looking girl- a girl who cares about how they look (because I do :D). It doesn't worry me what colour hair, I like tans alot, in very good shape. Just as long as they take care in what they look like. Not a girl who barely gets out of bed, don't have a shower and stay inside all day. A girl who looks good, cares about how they look, active- not lazy, has a sense of humour. -
Walking down a real ling driveway, with a tall hedge along the right-hand side of it when facing the house. I never actually walked in a straight line along the driveway. I was with a few people I know, one being my cousin who is just about the same age as me. There were these huge dogs, I can't remember their breed now... German Sheperds I think they were. They were huge. ...and that's it. I'm pretty sure I left out details, but anyway. I know I've had other dreams that I will never forget, but I'd prefer not to mention them here.

I've seen a few girls at my school crying their eyes out because of something scratched into the toilet walls. There's not a single bit of wall in the boys toilets that's gone un-scratched, not drawn on, vandalised, whatever. But it's completely different to the girls. In the boys toilets, you see things like "Munkys Toilet" and there's a heap of sentences scribed into the doors that says "ring 68845059 for a good time" (no. made-up). There is phrases like "Jonny is a ******" and crap like that, but usually whoever it is about crosses it out or changes it to about someone else. ...I guess girls are more sensitive about things like that...? I walk past the girls toilets and I can see phrases scratched into the cement I'm walking on. There has to be a huge damn grudge against someone for someone to do that. I mean.. they would've had to sit there for 5 damn hours just to get that phrase scratched in the way it was. This is just at my school... I'm not sure how it's like anywhere else.

She sounds very small-minded. She could be jealous, does this Kate have a boyfriend? She might feel left out or something like that. Whatever it is, it doesn't sound like she's thinking too far along the road, and is taking the worse into her own hands. The best remedy... I reckon you should confront her. Make sure she knows that you know what she's doing or what's happening. She might think no-one knows, even you and your boyfriend, what she's being rude and hurtful for... on the other hand but the same side, she might be looking for attention, like you mentioned. Confronting her might be the best bet to stopping it. :smoke:

I don't really have a fear of the one thing. It more of "something". I'm usually in town all day, and usually I have to walk somewhere in town where mum can pick me up so I can get home. When I go home at about 5 or 6 in the afternoon, the sun is setting (winter). It gets dark quick, and I'm left most of the time to walk at night. Sometimes I have to walk through very empty parts of town. I always get this shiver inside me, that something or someone is close by or behind me and following me. Everytime I turn and I can't find anyone, this feeling keeps getting stronger, until I get in the car on the way home. My "worst fear"... being killed by someone, alone. Dieing by myself is not what I'm scared of. Just... being shot dead while I know it's going to happen, being beat to death by morethan one person... on my own, and no-one is there to help me. I've been so scared of that feeling for so long... I'd reckon it'd be my worst fear.

I ain't Nostradamus or nothing, it could always take a world-stunning turn and do you the best... but if you're willing to take the chance of nothing to everything, maybe you should go ahead and see what happens hey. I'm just saying it's most likely gonna end up on your shoulders the wrong way up.
O.o too true. I forgot that detail.... Hun your are in trouble heh.
...Sorry if I sounded a bit up myself... I just read my last post to you and I thought it sounded a bit... cranky.. heh :babble:

To me, Scooter Ward, the main singer from Cold, is a lyricist that I can actually look to as someone who puts meaning into the lyrics he writes. Every, single song his band has produced, the lyrics with them mean alot to me. If you can make the world a stage for me, then I hope you can hear me scream. --- Remember all the times that we used to play You were lost and i would save you I don't think those feeling will ever fade You were born a part of me -Cure My Tragedy And I can't breathe When you cry But I'll be there to hold you tight And I would kill I would fight To keep you close -Gone Away These are just two songs that I cannot go a day without listening to. I love the music in them. Though even more, I love the lyrics with them, when I listen to them I can think about anything, anyway I want to. These two songs are two of my favourite songs from Cold, the lyrics in them just mean so much to me. There are other songs, Insane, Suffocate, Ugly. And every other song they've produced.
Fall no offense but that is bull ****. I have been in many breakups and in the end stayed best friends with all my exs. Other than my first but there is a reason for that.
I'm sure you have. But did you break-up with your ex, then chase his best mate? Not every guy takes that to the good side. What I said ain't ******** when you have a think 'bout it.
-
If you break up with him, and then end up being with one of his best mates, he isn't gonna jump at the idea of "staying friends" with you. To put it simply, he ain't gonna want to even see you around for a long, long time. I'm saying that based on what I've been through. ..there is the chance of a different outcome. I'm just one of those "guys" I suppose... that takes ages to get over a break-up.. when you look at it.. .. but I'm not the only one. ;) Trust me. This "Henry" could well be the damn same.
What in the world is a treyflip? I thought I'm a walking now-it-all about tricks since I walked through *all* the Tony Hawk's Pro Skaters (beside a bit skating mself) and, see, there are a lot of tricks in there.
A 360 flip. Around here all it's called is a treyflip. Sorry, I shouldn't have called it by its street name. I dunno why it got that name but. Must sound more better or somethin'...

I'm only halfway through 15, and I can't say I've experienced real love. There's been times when I thought I was, and then one time when I thought it was gonna be forever (what the hell...), but I wasn't. It messes you up. I makes you think things, makes you think things all weird. And it takes me ages to realise it. I wish it didn't but I guess I got a softspot somewhere hey. I believe in 'true love', but it takes more than a few weeks or a girlfriend here and there to get into it.

Music, BMXing, and not much else really. I enjoy hanging out with my friends, but that to me isn't classed as a hobby. Computers is something I do as a hobby, though I don't really have a big interest in it, I only surf the net or play games or whatever because I'm bored or lazy.. if I was really lazy I wouldn't even get out of bed. :smoke: School is at the bottom of my 'things of interest' list. I can't stand school.
Eli's signature People are like Slinkies- they have no use whatsoever, but you can't help but smile when you push one down the stairs.
Nah.. what a mad sig.
I've seen Balir Witch 2 and it looks more of a movie than the first one. The addition of video effects made it look more like a real scripted movie. Also, the second movie has a "story" than the previous one.
Blair Witch 2 is meant to look like a movie. It is a movie. It's not meant to look like real footage, more like a scripted movie. It's just there to add a sequal to the first one. The first movie, looks real, yeah it's got everything going for it. But now I think its fake. I used to have doubts about wether it was fake or not, but I think it is now. It was made the way it is so people would watch it hoping for a movie based on a true story, a story that's basically never had a movie made on it before. It pretty mutch grabbed peoples attention by the story behind it, of the three kids ad the woods and whatever. Because they got heaps of mony from the first movie, this has funded enough to make the second one, giving the director/producer/whatever the money and power to add a script, special effects, etc.

I used to own a Fender Skull and Roses. I don't tend to like the colour of it... though that's another story. I played that for a few months, about seven, until mum bought me a new one, a Jackson DX6 Dinky. I haven't got the hang of this one yet... nowhere as near a good as I do with my Fender. Dad actually wanted to get me a Jackson KE3 Kelly for my birthday but there's no way I'm expecting him to get it. It costs way too much. If he gets it... I'm going to have to find some miracle way to pay him back for it. I can only play little pieces, mainly the start of songs released already or the ends of them. For instance, I can play the start of Nothing Else Matters, The More I See, King Nothing, and The Memory Remains (somewhat), all by Metallica, I can play the start of Chop Suey and Aerials by System of a Down, and I'm in the process of picking up the start of Trust by Megadeth (it's damn hard). I usually only play the electric guitar when I've got nothing to do, I'm at home being lazy. That usually the only time I pull out the guitar and amp. I will at other occasions, but hardly ever, and only when someone asks me to play a bit.

I've been skateboarding a fair bit lately. I dropped off it for a while. I have three decks, two which I've worn out to almost nothing. My current deck which I'm more balanced on than the other two I own and have worn out, is a Blind Hangman Mini. I tend to be more balanced with this deck 'cause of the extra inch taken off the width, the wider decks I loose line easier. My other two decks, a Blind Death Metal and a Blind Slasher, I've worn them out a fair bit. They've both gone through two sets of wheels and two rolls of griptape. I had just fitted my Slasher deck with brand-new Blind Abec-5 Lifetakers Bearings when I snapped the back truck. I pretty much gave up on skateboarding once that happened. I thought I'd never lay one of my feet on another deck again. But it's hard when you got mates into the whole skating thing and the skate-comps around and whatever. I only started again about three weeks ago. I got my third deck about two weeks ago, and I gotta say it's an awesome board. Trickwise, I can do the basic stuff. The manual, ollie, kickflip, pop shove-it, heelflip, and one trick that took alot of injuries, the trey-flip. The slides- boardslide, noseslide-- frontside nose bluntside (took alot of blood), lipslide, tailslide. Grinds, only the backside feeble grind, the backside 50-50, and the frontside and backside 5-0. At the moment I'm trying to pick up on my air, and one trick I've almost nearly got a hold of, the handplant. The only tricks I really have a problem with are the stalls. Nearly every bad injury or broken bone I've got from skateboarding has resulted from a stall. I find it hard to believe counting the amount of injuries I've had... but it happens. ...yes I love Blind. :smoke:
