I was born on September 30, the same day that James Dean died. I don't any famous birthdays that fall on mine.

The Hellsing anime had good action scenes, but, towards of the end of the series, the plot had a lot of potholes in it. Personally, the manga of Hellsing is better because there's more to it and the anime had a few filler episodes in there.

Pokemon sparked in interest with me when my friends started to play Pokemon back in middle school. After that, I bought the Blue version of Pokemon and I had countless nights that stayed up all night playing my blue game on Super Game Boy. Soon after, I bought the Red version, and I had two GBs, and I use to trade with myself, and I got all 150 Pokemon in both games. (Actually, I had 151 in my blue game, I used a Gameshark cheat to get Mew). After I beat Red and Blue, my interest basically dropped after that. I bought Yellow, and I was disappointed because you had to have Pikachu follow you around and it was stupid. After Yellow, I stopped playing Pokemon, and it hasn't sparked my interest since.

Anime Real Life Anime Girl! (this is wierd)
jedite replied to W00t,iM uNbAnNd's topic in Otaku Central
That's just plain disturbing. I think anime should just stay animated and not to brought into real life. Because when anime is brought into real life, it just doesn't look right. -
Most favorite Final Fantasy was a tie between FF7 and FF8. Both had very good plots, and good battle system. Least favorite was FF10, I just couldn't get into it. I just didn't like the characters that much. Probably mostly to the voice actors. The voice actors just annoyed the hell out of me.

One of the most disappointing endings was Mega Man VII for the SNES.
You have to beat Wily which is one of the hardest boss battles ever on a MM game. After that, Wily just gets away and that's it.
One of the most disappointing endings for one of the hardest games in the MM series.

Gaming What do you think of the games of 2005?
jedite replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Noosphere
I'm looking forward to Devil May Cry 3. I think that'll be a good game of 2005, because they give back Dante's personality in DMC3, which they discarded in DMC2. I don't think that the PSP is going to do well against the DS, due to all the bad things that have been said about it's fragility. Also, Nintendo has owned the handheld market for a long time, and I think they will continue to. -
I recently just bought Contra: Shattered Soldier. It just brings back old memories of playing Contra on the NES. It's a short game tho, but, man it is difficult. Which is a good thing, because it gives it replay. Also, like the Contra game on the NES, which was very challenging, it stays true to that root.

Also, to add, I'm been playing Guilty Gear X (on my signature), and I have to say it's awesome. Not only I'm not only an anime fanboy but, I love 2D fighters as well. Guilty Gear X plays just as good as it looks. Guilty Gear X is up to the level of Capcom Vs Snk 2. I can't wait to play Guilty Gear X2. I was thinking about getting GGX2 Reload for the Xbox since it's only $19.99. :D

Well, I'm playing my games that I have in my signature. Also, I just got Max Payne 2 for the PS2, and I'm start playing that. Lastly, I just beat Devil May Cry 2, this game was too easy. It didn't have the challenge that the first one had.

Super Mario Sunshine is probably one of the biggest disappointments. Sunshine is a good game, but, doesn't live to the other Mario games. Sunshine just didn't feel like a Mario game, it just felt like another platform game. Also, the Bouncer for the PS2 was another disappointment. This game had the potential to be a classic for the PS2. But, it was all graphics, but, not much else. It's just a showcase for the PS2's graphic capabilites. The game could have been a lot longer, and more challenging. I beat the entire game in only an hour and half. So, the game didn't have any replay value. Lastly, you couldn't have co-op in the story mode, which was weak. This is an example that you need more than graphics, to make a great game.

My personal quote that I live by is: "Live is what you put into it." I believe this because the more you put into your life, then the more you will get out of it. Some other quotes are: "Live life while you have it, because there is plenty of time to be dead." Unknown I believe that everyone should live their lives to the fullest, because you don't want to regret doing something you wanted to do. "I'm Rick James, *****!" -Dave Chapelle as Rick James I just love the skit the Rick James skit, and how Dave Chapelle says it. PRICELESS! "Angels that fall from heaven, are forced to become devils." Vicious, Cowboy Bebop One of my favorite quotes from Vicious, it just sounds cool.

So far, outside CN, I have watched some of Peace Maker Kurogane, and I have to say I love it because I'm a big fan of historical Japanese anime like Rurouni Kenshin. Also, I've watched some of X, a very dark and grim series. Next, I have watched the 3 episode Mega Man OAV, I recommend this to any Mega Man fan. Also, I've watched the entire series of Excel Saga, and I loved it. It's probably one of the wackiest and funniest animes out there. Ranma 1/2 is another great comedy series along with some fighting. Highly recommend if you like a comedy series along with some fighting. I've watched fansubs of Bleach, it's awesome. I've read the manga, but, IMO, the anime is better. The animation, music, and sound are great. One of the best shonen animes I've seen.

For some reason, everyone in my Astronomy class, calls me Jim for some reason. Probably, because I'm a big guy, or they sometimes call me big Jim. Which Jim isn't my real name. Also, another nickname is Big A. Some of my friends call me this. Lastly, my darker or eviler side, Jedite, which isn't really a nickname, more like an alter ego.

I look for girls that have good personalities. I don't go on a girl so much on looks. I like girl that I can have a good time with. Most times, you don't choose who you fall in love with, it just happens. But, who you fall in love with, can go into a relationship. But, being with someone isn't always the best thing in the world. Sometimes, being with someone can be hell, because either that person is abusive, controlling, a cheater, etc. But, I wouldn't worry about it, if I were you. You're young, you have your whole life ahead you. It's like the ol' sayin' "Every dog has its day."
