It's hard to really pick one with my friends, just because we all see each other and hang around one another so much. I guess I could write a little about each, since if I was to pick one, the other three would get the wrong idea. ;) "Chel" - She's the 'gothic one' in terms of dress, however, she's one of the craziest girls I know. (In a good way.) As I've mentioned previously in other threads, we're all a spontaneous group of punks. She's probably the most drastic, but the most fun-loving. "Momo" - Short endearing nickname for our quiet one. She's excellent at drawing and likes to play Dance Dance Revolution even more than I do. She's the one who keeps her head on straight and the one we all go to for advice. She's almost like a mother without the scolding. "Kris" - My 'sister'. We're distantly related, but we're so close. She's the one who understands and is the most flexible with me. She's the gentle, cute one of the group and well-loved by many. If she wasn't around, I'd probably be a nervous wreck. "Andy" - The only guy out of our group. He's the college student with the logistics, and it's quite funny to watch him and Chel argue about anything and everything. He's the one I can hold a real intelligent coversation with, and I'm glad he's around. I met Chel through Momo, and Momo through Kris. Kris and I have always been rather close, and Andy...well, I met him while he was working at Media Play and he forced me to give him some of my Chocolate Pocky. :p Go Andy...

Ena heard a gentle knock on the door. In response, she sat up from her bed and wiped her face of the tears that had fallen. She had always admitted to herself that she didn't like crying in front of other people, especially her fellow Wakanda. It was too embarrassing to do so. "Come in." She said quickly, unknowing as to who it was. "Ena, I need to speak with you." Kalei said, opening the door slowly to look inside. She noticed that Ena wasn't facing the door, rather, she was facing the opposite wall. Ena twisted around quickly to see her leader, however, it was to her mistake, because she hurt her ribs. Kalei might have known so, but Ena tried her hardest to hide it. "What do you wish to talk about?" Ena asked quietly, almost timidly. "I think you know." Kalei replied. "Kalei, if it's about Richard or Fyuora, I'm fine...Really." Ena said with a tone that was trying to convince herself as well as her counterpart. But it was obvious, Ena was a wreck at the current time. "I'm concerned Ena. I've entrusted you with Riley's life, and you've taken on the task of Jordan's care as well." Kalei shut the door behind her and walked over, sitting next to Ena on the bed. "Taking over Jordan was the least I could do for Fyuora, because I owe her my life." Ena lowered her head a little. "It was my recklessness that killed her." "Please don't blame yourself, Ena. I'm sure it wasn't your fault." Kalei attempted to console the young Wakanda, but seemed to fail for the moment. Ena wouldn't hear any different. "I can't help it..." Ena stopped. "I watched her die, all the while thinking 'It's your fault'." She began to attempt to explain, but stopped for some reason. She simply froze, unaware of what to say. It was hard for her to speak her mind. Richard had grown on her more than anyone thought, including Ena herself. "Thayne has told me about Richard...he also told me of your reaction." This comment of Kalei's brought forth a small gasp from Ena. She knew immediately that this was the real issue at hand. "Ena, I expect you to be upset..." She paused. "But seeing you like this makes me realize that there was something between the two of you that the rest of us didn't see." "I told Talyn that I loved Richard like a brother, that he was all that I had left in terms of family. But that's not true." Ena's voice began to quiver a little, and she practically choked while trying to speak. "I loved Richard, and I never said a word. I already knew that I didn't have a chance...he loved someone else instead." "Who?" Kalei asked, curious. "Katima." Ena whispered. "He would mutter her name while he slept. He wouldn't admit it, but the way he acted toward her proved that he truly did." Kalei simply listened, it was all she really could do for the moment. "I don't know how Katima felt toward him, but he favored her the most. I could almost say that I'm a little jealous of her. Not in the fact that he loved her more, but that she doesn't seem as deeply affected as I am." "That is because she has discovered a secret that she was bound to find out." "What do you mean, Kalei?" Ena asked, unknowing. "Tegan and Katima are half-vampire. I am their mother, and Malik is their father." Kalei replied calmly. "I see." Ena nodded her head a little. ---------------- OOC: DC, if you want to finish off the conversation, go right ahead.

Citrus, I was wondering about the classes. Before I post about the next day. Are we all in the same classes again as the day before? Are we all together? ~ Sin

I've been a fan since "Clint Eastwood" actually. I discovered them a couple winters ago when I had a snow day. If it wasn't for that, I don't think I would have heard of them until now like a lot of people. I think my new favorite song off of Demon Days at the moment would be "November Has Come." I'm not a big fan of rap, but I do like this song. A close second would be "Fire Coming Out of the Monkey's Head." That's pretty good. Any others?

Brandi sighed with relief and disbelief at the same time as she closed the door to her apartment. Could her mind let her believe everything that had just happened? It was too surreal for her. Was she really living in this past hour? Was it really Michael that she approached? Brandi had to reassure herself that everything was real. 'I can't believe it. I'm actually going to the dance with Michael. This is too good to be true!' With that, an unstoppable smile appeared on her face, and Brandi jumped about happily. "I'm going to the dance! I'm going to the dance! And with-" "With who?" A voice interrupted. Brandi's face turned a little red around her nose and she turned around bashfully, it was her mother with a rather satisfied look on her face. And with that, a shy reply followed. Brandi almost seemed a little embarrassed to reveal it. It wasn't Michael at all, but rather her family. "A boy..." "I know that, honey." She shook her head and walked toward her daughter. "But what's his name?" "Michael...Michael Dean-Arquette." Brandi nodded confidently. "Really? Well that's nice. I'm happy for you Brandi." Her mother smiled and hugged her. "Have lots of fun, okay?" "I will, Mom." Brandi beamed radiantly. Her parents had always been so trusting of Brandi, and they always understood her reasons for doing things the way she did. They were almost too good to be true, but no...Brandi was fortunate enough to have been born into this world by a loving couple whose compassion and understanding by far, beat anyone else's in their daughter's opinion. And now, she was going to the dance with the one boy that she had wished for to even just notice her. Brandi thought she was living a fairy tale. "Papa! Je vais demain à la danse avec un garçon. (Father, I'm going to the dance tomorrow with a boy.)" Brandi ran over to her father and hugged him immediately. "Je suis heureux pour vous. Soyez sûr et ayez l'amusement. (I am happy for you. Be safe and have fun.)" Her father grinned. "Ne vous inquiétez pas. (Don't worry.)" Brandi said as she looked up at him. "Je serai sûr. (I will be safe.)" ----------- "I woke up today, thinking it would be just another ordinary day. But who would've known that I would have actually accomplished something wanted so badly so quickly. Kiala was right, it was a good thing that I went back to the Café." Brandi thought to herself as she sat on her bed in her pajamas, staring out the window towards the streets of Timber Valley. "I always wonder...what will tomorrow bring?"

"Well Ena, in the couple fights you were in, you did seem to injure your ribs a little more. I told you to take more caution." The nurse who tended to Ena before scolded her a little. "Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Just wrap me up and I'll go to my room." Ena said rather apathetically. "Very well." The young woman huffed. ----------- "Miss Ena, will you be okay?" The two boys approached her eagerly. "Yes. I'll be fine." She nodded, and patted their heads for reassurance. "I just need to go and rest for a little while." ---------- Now that she actually had time to think instead of acting on her constant instinct, Ena's mind flooded with thoughts of Richard. I wasn't there to save him. I saw his headless body. I could practically hear him suffer when I saw the remains...and now, they're still back at Malik's fortress. I wanted to tell him...how much I appreciated him being there. Even if he didn't care, I still did. He was the only family I had, and now he's gone. The vampires have taken nearly everything from me, and I'll die trying to keep what's left. That's why I have to protect both Riley and Jordan. Richard, if you were here...would you be proud that I've taken the responsibility that you wanted me to? ---------- "Ena. Don't you dare give up on me. This is the end of your training." Richard kicked the limp body on the ground just a little ways from him. "If you stop now, everything that you've worked for will just die out and become useless." "I can't do it..." She mumbled feebly. "You have to!" He kicked her again once more. "Get up! Stand I tell you!" Ena slowly rose, and tried once more to allow the flames to come forth. She whispered an ancient Wakanda chant, her body shaking as she did. Clapping her hands together, Ena then thrust forth the power that had become hers. It was the first time she had given birth to her element. ----------- There's obviously something going on with Katima and Tegan. And with the timing seeming pretty bad, I wonder if I should just keep his secret to myself. Or perhaps, she already knows of his infatuation. Ena's thoughts were interrupted by a rap on the door. "Miss Ena. Should you need anything, we'll be in this corridor." Riley yelled inside, knowing better than to enter unannounced. "Okay. Thanks boys. You two should just go and get some rest." She said. "Right." The two boys walked off and Ena simply laid on her bed. ---------- OOC: I'll get to the character interraction part in my next post, unless someone wants to talk to Ena.

Custom titles, huh? Well, mine is from my AP Literature class. "In Media Res" is a Latin term for "In the Middle of It"...it's a loose translation in my title, but it's a literary term used for plot, really. To start in the middle, tell about the beginning, and follow the story all the way through to the end. The reason I use this is because I get stuck in the middle of a lot of things in my life, one of the most important at the moment is dealing with my friends. But we won't go into detail. :p

Should I do as Kiala said? I want to...so badly, but what if I seem too assertive? No, what she said is right. I have to show that I have some confidence. If I screw it up, I can just...admire him from afar. Brandi debated on whether or not she should return to Café Lite. There were, as always over the past few days, a million questions running through her head. But she knew that she had to make a decision. With the dance coming up quickly, and her own feelings about to burst, Brandi had to do something. "I'll go." She nodded. --------------- Sighing heavily before opening the door, Brandi was about to take her leap of faith. "C'mon Brandi. You can do this." She shook her head in reassurance. "I can talk to him again. It'll be okay." --------------- "Back again?" Michael asked, seeming rather surprised at Brandi's reappearance as she approached him at the bar. "Yeah. I was just wandering around and decided to come back." She smiled. There was a short silence between the two, and Michael looked around quickly. The room was nearly empty. "So, we're in the same classes, yet we've never spoken." Brandi hesitated. "Strange, isn't it?" "Yes. Rather strange." Michael agreed. "I'm sorry. I never properly introduced myself, I'm Brandi Morgan." Brandi recited, unsure of what to do. "Michael Dean-Arquette." He replied. "Right, of course." Again, that silence rose. Should I make my move now? Should I tell him how I feel? Or should I run away? No...I mustn't run away... But can I find the words to confess to you...how much I love you?

2006 is going to be a heck of a year for me. More commemorative than anything. On July 1st, I will be leaving to go to Japan for two weeks as a Student Ambassador for a federal program called People to People. I think that is probably the second most important thing going on next year. The first being the fact that '06 will be my graduating year of high school, and it's going to feel really strange. Talk about tough...I don't want to decide my major just yet because I don't know what I want to do for the rest of my life. '06 also means that I'll be able to get my license, and hopefully, inherit the car that my family has. Car = Job. Job = Money. Yay. I can't wait. ~~ "Welcome to the first day of the rest of your life." ~~

"So Brandi, you seem really happy. What's going on? You finally get a boyfriend?" Jeremy teased as she served the plates. "No. I just...had something go right for me today." Brandi had to pause to think of an answer. Her parents just gave a rather confused look. "Mom, since I didn't have any homework today, do you mind if I go out later?" "Sure, honey." Her mother replied quickly. ------------------ After her parents left to take Jeremy back to his hotel, Brandi decided to leave as well. She almost wanted to go and confront Michael, but was too afraid. They had only just met for the first time formally today. Walking toward The Mall, Brandi bumped into Kiala. Literally. Turning the corner, the two accidentally ran into one another. "I'm sorry, are you okay?" Brandi asked, holding her shoulder. "Yeah. What about you?" Kiala asked. "I'm fine." "Phew. Well, that was a way to say hello." Brandi chuckled. "Where are you headed?" "I was just on my way to The Mall." "Me too!" "Let's go together then." Kiala invited her. After walking a little more and discussing school, Brandi decided to ask Kiala for a little help. "Do you mind if I ask you something?" "Sure, go ahead." She nodded. "What if...you like this boy, but you've only just met for the first time and you want to possibly go to the Dance with him? Should you ask him, or wait to see if he'll make a move?" "Hmm...that's a tough question." Kiala nodded, putting her hand underneath her chin as to think. ------------- OOC: Tag, Hug Monster. Hope that helped.

OOC: Short post, there isn't much I can do with Ena for right now. ---------------------- Ena was so confused as to what was going on. All she knew was that something had just happened to Tegan. However, everyone seemed okay and as she turned around, Jordan sat Riley up as he regained consciousness. 'Could it be that Riley could sense what Tegan was up to? Or even more, Malik?' The young Wakanda was one of the lesser. She just followed Kalei's orders and was tied rather loosely to the group. And now that the storm was over, things would be back to a small degree of normality. However, it was now more than ever that Ena was almost alone. Richard was gone, and she was now stuck babysitting. Almost clueless, Ena watched as the others regrouped and recooperated. She walked over next to the boys. "How are you feeling Riley?" "Okay, Miss Ena. I'm sorry you had to carry me through that place." "It's fine. As long as the two of you are okay." "Miss Ena, what do we do now?" "I don't know." As Ena proceeded to sit down, she realized that there was a small pain in her back. Those two bruised ribs had been put under a lot of stress, and the girl knew that she would have to rest soon.

Hug Monster, I'll give ya a hand. It'll be in my next post so watch for it. Maybe Brandi and Kiala can become friends. :D ~ Sinistra

Brandi was just getting back from the store when she had decided on a whim to get that StrawberryBanana Smoothie. It didn't seem like anyone was in there when she looked in upon first glance. However, walking in, she watched as Sammy shot around in his seat. He was about to leave, but stayed for just a moment. "Hey." He said simply. "Hi." Brandi smiled back. Sammy was always nice to Brandi, even if they didn't know each other very well. "What are you doing here?" He asked. "I was thirsty." She nodded, proceeding toward him. "I had to get some things from the store." "Oh? Making dinner?" "Yeah. My cousin's coming over." "I see." During the entire time Brandi talked to Sammy, Michael wasn't in sight. If he was, Brandi might have walked right back out. However, he came out from the back and she froze. He too, showed no sign of life at the moment. Both made a quick decision and Brandi sat down next to Sammy. "Hello." Michael greeted her. "Hi." She nodded in return. "Can I get you anything?" He asked. "A StrawberryBanana Smoothie." She replied. 'Good job Brandi. You're doing fine.' "Okay." He paused. "Coming right up." "So, do you two know each other?" Sammy asked, confused at their behavior. "No." Brandi said. "But we're all in the same classes." He continued. Michael shrugged as he made the drink. "Well then, Brandi, this is Michael. Michael, this is Brandi." Sammy smiled. "Mikey's a friend of mine." "I could tell." Brandi smiled, almost paralyzed with nerves. 'It's okay. If you really need to, say you have to leave.' "Here you go." Michael handed it to her. "That'll be two-seventy." "Okay." She pulled out the change from the store and handed him what was necessary. "There you go." "Thanks." Michael said, taking the change. "Well, I have to go. Dinner doesn't make itself." Brandi said. "Bye Sammy." "Bye Brandi." "Bye Michael. It was nice meeting you." She held out her hand. He looked at it for a moment and then took it into his own, shaking her hand. "No, the pleasure was all mine." "Okay then. Bye." She grabbed the drink and her bag, and walked out the door. "I can't believe it! I actually talked to him! And I didn't mess up!" Brandi screamed as she walked down the street. "That so made up for earlier. Nothing can ruin my mood now. Nothing!"

Hey everyone! Welcome to Milly and Meryl's Hour of "Let Sit on a Bench With Some Brown Bags and Make Funny Faces!" ... Today, we have Milly and Meryl's impression of the style of Azumanga Daioh! ... Amazing! ... That's all for today!

Brandi was one of the first out of class. She was way too embarrassed to face anyone after her little display. With her face blushing furiously, she ran straight for her locker and out the door. ------------ Finding herself across the street from Café Lite, Brandi just decided to go home. Seeing Suzu and Hitomi through the window only made her want to keep walking and that craving for the StrawberryBanana Smoothie had long left her. 'Yeah Brandi. Great job! You really won Michael over with that performance back there!' She thought to herself. 'Man, I should go bang my head against a wall!' ------------ Arriving home in Province Circle, Brandi slowed her fast paced walk to a mere step. She sighed in relief. "Hopefully...no one will remember that." She said. "Especially him." Apartment #219 was her home, And while Brandi kicked off her shoes and set down her bag, a message was developing on the answering machine. "Hey Brandi. It's me, your big cousin Jeremy!" A sarcastic tone filled the room. "I know that you'll be happy to see me. Your parents called and invited me to dinner since I'm in town. You know what I want, have it ready when I get there. Seven-thirty sharp." It followed with a quick click. "Just when I thought I could relax." Brandi moaned. "Stupid Jeremy." She played the other message back and it was from her mother. "Hi sweetie, we'll be getting back around seven thirty from work, okay? We're also inviting Jeremy to dinner. He's in town for a business conference for a couple days and I figured it would be fine. Bye hun!" While Brandi listened, she was rummaging through the cupboards to see if there were any ingredients to make Jeremy's favorite dinner, Tuna Casserole. "There's no tuna...or noodles." She said to herself. "I guess I have to go to the store." Minutes later, she was back in the main streets of Timber Valley on her way to the Grocery Store.

Yeah, I was looking through an Anime Insider magazine last night and this was one of the headlines in the Culture Section. I'm pretty sure that they said that this whole movie was based on a true story. It's rather...cute. And that's a lot coming from me. I've seen the before and after pictures of that guy, our protagonist, and he looked so much different. It's rather amazing how just a little sprucing up can go a long way. I want to see it, and I don't care if I have to special order it when it finally comes out to DVD.

I remember being in first grade and shocking my teacher by saying that I wanted to be a marinebiologist. (I practiced how to say that for about a day.) I had this fascination with underwater life, and I don't know why. When I was a little kid, I was a nerd. I'll admit it. :animeswea
I watched a lot of fantasy movies and I wanted to be a sorceress. I used to grab sticks in the backyard and act like they were magic staffs or something.
That was my first choice before school and I used to do the same thing. Heh...

From Creative Writing to English, Brandi was reunited with her friends and some of the classmates from History, the most important in her mind being Michael. 'Should I make my move?' She kept thinking throughout the Silent Sustained Reading. She could hardly keep up with the text of Les' Miserables. There was just too much on her mind at the moment. 'What if he says no? Can I ever face him after that? No! I can't think like that. C'mon Brandi! Snap out of it. You can do this. If I can just say 'Hi.' I'll be fine.' She thought to herself. Whenever Brandi was most nervous, she began to revert to her native language. French. It was the biggest sign that she was around someone she was almost uncomfortable with. This case was her crush, and it was becoming more and more obvious. 'Are you okay?' Leah mouthed out the words to her, a look of concern crossing her face. Brandi could only nod in return. 'Je dois croire, je peux faire ceci.' Brandi thought. 'I have to believe, I can do this.' 'That's all I have to do is say one word.' She nodded her head in reassurance. "Miss Morgan. What are you doing?" Mr. Sherman asked, his voice sending a miniscule wave of intimidation into Brandi's mind. "Rien professeur. J'étais pensée juste." She blurted out. "What?" He stood up, drawing the classes attention to her. Odd looks from everyone only seemed to get more onto Brandi's nerves. "Nothing sir. I was just just thinking." She said calmly, sighing. "I told you to speak English in my class. You might be French, but I want you to speak otherwise." Mr. Sherman said sternly. "Yes sir." She nodded feverishly. She turned enough to see Michael turn his gaze back into his book, and she tried her hardest to hide the small blush that began to appear on her face behind the book.

Brandi was never more sure of anything than of her crush of Michael. Now, the trick was to get over her little problem. In the past, she had always made a fool of herself in front of her crush, mumbling and never saying what she meant. It only made her look stupid. She sighed in the middle of Creative Writing as she thought of something to write. "Class. Because your journals are due next week, I'm giving you this class to work on poems or prose. Remember, it's not what you write about, but how well you let it flow into words." Her teacher, Miss George said, waving her hands in a fluid motion to emphasize the importance of the last phrase. 'Maybe I should think of a list of things to do before I die. It won't be long if I decide to even talk to Michael.' She said in her mind. 'Yeah right. I doubt he'd want to be with someone like me. We are...perhaps too different. He's on a completely different level than I am. But I'd be willing to change, I'd just want to make him happy.' "Also children!" The teacher popped up again. "You may take out your musical...technology. I find that music helps you to think, so feel free to listen away. I won't be teaching at all." She winked, knowing everyone had their CD and MP3 players. Brandi smiled a little as she took out her iPod, it had a nice robins-egg-blue tint to the cover. She put her headphones on and began to listen to the All-American Rejects, and their newest hit, Dirty Little Secret. She nodded her head with the beat and picked up her pen. I'll never tell anyone not even you. I don't know why my knees buckle. But I think I'm starting to get it. You'll never know that you're The Reason. But should I be accepting of you? We're just so different. But then again, love conquers all, and that includes differences. If only it could conquer my weakness. I want to embrace you, to console you. But would you let me? My head tells me "No." But by heart says "Yes." I want to keep all of you. I want to cherish you. You and no one else. You are my Beloved. Now if only you knew... I love you, but you'll never know. You'll never know the reason why my heart aches, why I shake when you're around, why I feel weak, why I can't speak the right words. I love you, but you'll never know. Brandi re-read it over, but she wasn't satisfied. 'I like Michael more than I can say in a crappy poem.' She thought to herself. Poetry was never her forte, but drawing was. Brandi loved to draw portraits, but recently she had not done so due to kickboxing. 'Maybe I could express my feelings better through art.' She thought to herself. 'No, maybe not. I don't want to show my true feelings until I can confirm his side of things. That's if I can work up the courage to even speak to him.' 'I am such a conflicted person.' She smirked. 'But Michael, you'll always be my Dirty Little Secret.'

Ena continued through the labyrinth of corridors. While it might have been sunrise outside, Malik's castle proved to be the darkest of all things. A personal reflection of himself. Carrying Riley was no easy task, but Ena knew that she had to find the others. She told Thayne she would do so if he stayed with Richard's body. ---------------- "Kalei, do you mind if I ask you something?" Ena approached her leader. "Of course not Ena. What is it?" "Well, I wanted to know about Riley-" "Oh. I see. Well Ena, I must confess that Riley is different. He has a sensitivity..." "What do you mean?" "Riley goes very weak and can even pass out when his body senses massive amounts of energy." Kalei said. "However, I figured that you would be able to handle him as an apprentice. I know that you're strong enough to keep an eye on him, I trust you Ena." "Yes Kalei." ----------------- "Ena!" A girl's voice called out. "Ena, is that you?" "Fyuora?" Ena turned around and set Riley down, realizing that he had passed out. "Oh thank god that we've found someone." She smiled as Jordan walked over to Riley, already seeming to know of his condition. For those few seconds that everyone was silent, Ena heard footsteps. They weren't Wakanda. "Jordan, stay by Riley, don't leave him. Fyuora, get ready, we're in for a fight." The two watched in anticipation as four vampires leaped our from the darkness. "Look boys, a pair of Wakanda whores." One jeered. "Look Fyuora, a group of Vampire bitches." Ena mocked him. "Silence girl! You shouldn't speak." One stepped foward. "Why don't you come over here and make me?" She teased. "A fiesty one." He smirked. "I like that. Your neck is the first I'll bite." "Y'know, I'm kinda waiting for you to try." Ena retorted. "I'm pissed, and you're messing with the wrong bitch." "Ooooh! I'm scared." The vampire taunted. "Mother is gone, my partner is dead, and my apprentice is out cold. And it all your fault." Ena quivered with rage "I hate you! I hate you all!" Her entire body burst unleashed a mass of flames and she charged forth with Fyuora. Ena could hardly control herself as she beat one vampire senseless, killing him as she snapped his neck. 'That was for Richard.' The other two pounced on her and she struggled to fight them off. Fyuora seemed to be facing off the leader as she turned to see Ena's struggle in the corner of her eye. She turned around and went to assist Ena, but it was to no avail. "Never turn your back on a vampire!" The leader pulled out a knife, and stabbed Fyuora in the back. "No!" Ena yelled as she pushed one off and kicked the other, running to help Fyuora. She lunged at the leader and they fell to the ground, scrambling to get back to their feet. Ena thrusted her hand into his chest and flames incinerated him. The other two ran off to warn the others. Fyuora fell to the ground, blood slipping from her lips. Jordan sat and watched as his master tried to keep herself strong, but was falling apart before his very eyes. "Ena, I'm sorry...that I couldn't help...you." She panted, her breaths getting shorter by the second. "No, I'm sorry that I couldn't save you in time." Ena tried to hold back her tears for the second time that night. "But you'll be alright. C'mon, I'll have Jordan carry Riley-" "No Ena. Thank you, but that's okay. I'm not going to make it." Fyuora smiled weakly. "But I'll tell Richard that you miss him." That was it for Ena, she just couldn't hold back the tears. "I'll miss you too, Fyuora." With that said, her smile remained. "Jordan. You be good for...Ena. She's a good person...she'll watch out for you." "Yes ma'am." Jordan, too, could hardly hold back tears. "At least I'll get to be with him now..." Fyuora sighed, and her breathing stopped. Ena closed her friend's eyes and got up slowly. "Jordan, you're my responsibilty now. Stay with me and you'll be fine. She'll be watching from above now." 'Richard...please watch over me...' The surge hit, and Ena knew something was going on. "C'mon. We've only got a little bit of time to get out of here!" She grabbed Riley and the three of them made their way towards the entrance of the fortress. --------------- OOC: I'll be taking over Jordan if that's okay. Can't have him just disappear into thin air. If need be, PM and I'll change whatever needs to be changed.

OOC: I'm doing a favor for Citrus. Some of our members have decided to drop out due to the fast pace of this RPG. There are some of you who should take a look at the new Rules posted in the Underground Thread. They are in effect, so I suggest that you click here and catch up. ------------------ Brandi sat at the table, trying to mind her own business. It was really hard due to the fact that Nick was right there. I mean, what would happen if he tried to make a move? And what about Michael? Brandi was trying to decide right in that moment who she liked more. 'Is it Michael? Or is it Nick? And what if either of them don't like me? Then what do I do?' A million questions ran through her head, and there was only a little while before class was going to begin once more. 'I better make a decision quick. At least then, I'll be certain.' BBRRIINNGGG!!! The warning bell sounded and the others began to finish up their conversations. 'Michael.' Brandi picked up her books the others followed suit. "So, have you decided?" Leah asked, joking. "Yes. Yes I have." Brandi tried to sound confident. "Oh, have we?" She chuckled and Bianca winked. "And who is the lucky man that has the priviledge of your feelings?" "M..." "Speak up girl!" Leah yelled. "Michael..." "You mean Dean-Arquette, the one in the same?" Bianca asked, a little surprised. "Yes." Brandi nodded shyly. "Well Brandi, I didn't see you falling for the bad boy." She smirked. "Why is that? Is it the differences? You want a change?" "I...don't know." Brandi shrugged. "But am I really this easy to pick on?" "Sort of." The two chimed together. The girls all walked to their next classes, hoping to meet up later after school to out for a little while. Brandi personally wanted to make a stop by Café Lite for a StrawberryBanana Smoothie. She was getting thirsty just thinking about it. 'So then, I guess that I like Michael. I wonder if he even knows my name.' She pondered. 'I guess I'll never know unless I try to find out. Maybe I could get Leah to ask him.' "Well Brandi, I didn't see you falling for the bad boy." She smirked. "Why is that? Is it the differences? You want a change?" 'I don't know why I like Michael. He's just different from the other boys. He's rather cute. I don't understand why he's not with a girl, I mean, with his good looks, it shouldn't be hard for him. More importantly, maybe Bianca was right. Maybe I do want a change in my life. I know that wouldn't be so bad.' "C'mon Brandi! You're gonna be late." Leah yelled.

"C'mon Brandi, think!" The young girl shook her hands as she rose them to her head. Brandi was no where else but in front of the Dance posters just outside. She had read them, and quickly realized her dilemma. 'What am I going to do?!' Brandi was always nervous in front of Michael and Nick, and none of them really spoke so much as a sentence to one another. 'Hey Michael...nice day, isn't it? Say, I was just wondering if you would want to go to the dance with me? No! This is stupid. God knows that I can hardly finish a sentence with either one of them around...I'll try again. Hey Nick! Who are you taking to the dance?...No...It's not going to work.' Brandi sighed. "Well, I guess I'll have to figure something out." She sighed. "Well, I will. I'll face my fears and ask one of them. Unless one of them asks me...oh...what am I going to do?" She ran off to her locker in frustration. 'Okay. I have to calm down. It's okay. If it really comes down to it, I'll just ask if I can hang out with Leah. Yeah...that's what I can do.' --------------- Brandi sat down with Leah at brunch and began nibbling at a piece of toast. All the girls were talking about who they thought was going to ask them to the dance. It worried her a little. "So who do you want to ask you, Brandi?" B asked. "Me?" She practically choked. "Yeah? What's wrong? Too scared to admit it?" Leah teased. "No..." Brandi quieted down again. "Oh c'mon Brandi. We all know who you like. It's rather obvious." Bianca went along with Leah. "Is it really?" She asked, nevous. "Girl...you really are so...gullible!" Leah laughed. Brandi sighed and picked up another piece of toast. "But seriously," Leah continued. "Who do you want to ask you?" "Um..." Brandi chewed nervously as she watched Nick walking across the campus. But then there was also Michael! They were polar opposites, and she liked them both. "I don't know." "Oh, I think you know." B teased a little more.

OOC: Finally! Oh...I just got home and logged on. So here it is! I'll be starting a little before everyone decides to leave. ----------------- Brandi listened intently as Alexander and Leah explained their heritage, as she found both of them rather different from others. Alex being American, and Leah being Chinese. Brandi was European herself. "There?s like nothing interesting to share about me." Brandi noticed that Leah was looking closely at Alex, who was looking somewhere else as she remarked. Brandi felt like she was boring the others, and decided not to continue. At least for the moment. "No, please. Do share!" Leah egged her on. "Alright. I'm French and Australian. My father is French, and my mother is Austrailan. I was born in Cannes and shortly afterward, I moved here." Brandi said shortly, quieting down as she slowed to a stop, noticing Alex. "Do you need to go to the nurse?s office Alex?" Leah asked. He shook his head. "No, I am just still tired." Brandi simply continued for a few more sentences before stopping. It was then that Leah decided to take her leave from the class. Brandi had seen her do it before in the previous years that they knew each other, so it was no surprise. "Alex..." Brandi whispered. "Alex." "What?" He asked, shaking his head once more. She turned her head to the door, and then back to her classmate. "Are you leaving, too?"
