I think it's really good, but I don't like the last rhyme. It would have worked, but the last line sorta sounds funky. I think the "now" should be at the front of that line. Otherwise, it's a great poem.

What upcoming systems seem like they will be the best? Which one(s) will you get or try to get? Why? What do you think about them, using the information you know about them now? Which one do you think will do the best in the market? Why? I think the XBox 360 and PS3 will be in some fierce competition. The PS3 has the graphics and processor, and more experience with game making. However, the 360 has the Halo franchise and the mysterious game "Black". The Revolution, I'm not sure about because from what I've seen, it hasn't blown me away, and a lot of things about it are being kept secret because in a private interview with "the Father of Nintendo", Mr. Miyamoto, he said that they had to keep the controller scheme and stuff secretive because other systems copied the previous ones-such as with the rumble feature. I, personally, want the PS3 because I am a PS fanboy and it looks AWESOME! It has a removable harddrive. (which has no apparent use, but is so cool just to say you have...) It also has the new "Cell processor" which is supposed to be amazing. It was made in cooperation with Sony, IBM, and Toshiba, and is planned to be used in computers and cell phones. Also it has a lot of franchises that I hope they continue like the Jak and Ratchet & Clank series. It just seems the most technologically advanced. The only big downsides are 1) Sony has been known to not completely follow up on its predictions for the PS systems and 2) the price is REALLY high. I think the 360 will do the best in the market because of its predecessor, the XBox. It was the best of the three systems due to its awesome graphics and Halo series. I think that the fans of the XBox will buy the 360 in hopes of continuing the Halo series and its superior online support. Also, the price of it will probably be much lower than the PS3's. I think the Revolution is being overshadowed by the PS3 and 360 because even though it is supposed to be very innovative (like Nintendo always is) they aren't letting people know what is going to be so great about it. I think, eventually, Nintendo is going to pull a Sega and stop making consoled. They will probably continue to dominate the handheld market though. The only reason it's going to survive this time is because of its great franchises like Mario and Zelda. That was my opinion, please tell me what you think...

I don't see what the big deal is over whether or not the Quran was changed. I'm sure there have been, as Siren has been saying oh so tediously, some minor text changes. People even admit to this before they translate the Quran by saying there is no way that each word could be translated correctly, which is why people should read it in arabic. Even if it has been changed that doesn't automatically falsify the exact sura's that the prophet Muhammad memorized. The only one hundred percent way of showing that the Quran is the word of God is either to have faith, or let people listen to the prophet Muhammad recite the Quran. Chabi, your on a fool's errand, you can convince nobody that the Quran is the word of God unless they are muslim, but they would already think/know that. Anyway if the Quran has been changed God would have a reason for it, maybe for the people of today to comprehend it better, or some other reason. I wish I could add more of an argument to my posts, but still need to do some research...

Whoa there, man! Let's not get blindly pointing fingers at Constantine for making up divine miracles. There's documented proof from the era recording Jesus' miracles, acts, and mission. Where'd you hear something like that? I'd love to know... And you also just shot yourself in the foot. Original texts survived? That means that there is are some texts that are original and free from error? I could've sworn you said that eariler. by Retribution I heard that Constantine did these things from books, and from some of my teachers that I discuss religion and politics and whatnot. Yeah, I guess I should have made myself a little clearer. I said that the Bible had been changed a lot, but I didn't mean that there aren't any other unedited ones, just that the Bible most people read. I'm not good at explaining things, and I'm really twisting my brain right now, so I hope that cleared something up... Care to elaborate? by Retribution I don't think it's right how you can go to a guy and tell him that you have sinned and be forgiven for your sin(s). You can do this, right? Also I don't understand the Holy Trinity thing and Jesus being the son of God. I am not trying to put any religion down, just stating my opinion.

Okay, I read through this whole thread, and I have to say that some of you are quite moronic, but I won't get into that. I am Muslim, just so you all know. 1) Chabi, stop trying to prove the Jewish and Christian faith wrong. In the Quran it says to respect the Jews and Christians because they believe in God too. 2) I agree with you Siren, about how the Quran could have very well been changed. The Bible, however, has been changed A LOT. When Constantine was emperor of the Roman empire, there was a big clash between paganism and Christianity. Constantine, who was a pagan himself, had made a very bold decision. He realized that in order to maintain power, he had to support Christianity and promote it. He also realized that in order to keep pagans on his side he had to make some changes. What he did was he took every single Bible and burned them (a few original texts survived) and replaced them with a new version. He made the Bible more divine and extraordinary, by adding the water to wine and walking on water things. He basically mixed paganism with Christianity. 3) Why are you all trying to put the other religion(s) down? Let people make their own choices, don't try to convert them, and live freakin' life. To get back on topic here...I personally believe that the Quran is the word of God (let me speak my opinion). I think that some of the things in the Christian faith is a little messed up, but I'm sure you think that about the Islamic faith.

The games that truely got me hooked on gaming were Sonic, Mega Man, and Tekken. Tekken was truely button mashing fun for me (my thumbs literally began to bleed). Mega Man was the game that got me into upgrading and really thinking about how to play (i.e. managing ammo). Sonic was just plain fun on the old Sega systems. What was/were your first games, and what was great about them?

Soooo... I was wondering if anyone liked to snowboard. I'm going on a school field trip to Blue Mountain, PA to snowboard. I've done it before, and I'm okay. I can get down an intermediate hill, but I can only turn toe-side, not on my heels. I don't plan to do any tricks, but meh... it's still fun. So, does anyone like to snowboard, if so, are you good, any advice, etc. P.S. Where's a good spot to go?

Did anyone ever like the old Nickelodeon shows, like Invader Zim or Ren and Stimpy? I loved those shows, they were really funny. I don't like the new Ren and Stimpy though, it's filled with violence and other things that just make it stupid. I know these shows are a bit childish, but I'm not that old...

One time I had a dream that I woke up. Another time I had a dream that I put Doritos in my pool at my old house and then got dragged through it while swallowing gallons of water. The water tasted like chips. :tasty: Anothere time I had a dream that I was drowning while everyone around watched. I could'nt breathe when I woke up.

I'm a fan of cheese, there are only two cheeses that I don't like. They are swiss and cheddar. However, cheddar does taste good with popcorn.

My favorite PS2 game is Ratchet anad Clank 3: Up Your Arsenal. The whole series is great. The games lffer a lot to do, and there is a vast variety of weapons and gadgets. It's pretty cool. I also like the whole Final Fantasy series, my favorites are XII and IX. They don't have the BEST graphics, but they still offer awesome gameplay. They also have my favorite characters, Cloud and Vivi.
