LostProphet, if you like lots of beats to your songs, check out New Skin by Incubus. I read somewhere that on average it has like 500 beats per minute. Could be wrong, but I doubt there is a faster song anywhere. Anywho, on topic, Faint is all right. I liked Hit the Floor a lot moreso than any of them. Most others were just so-so, but still, Cure For The Itch is my favorite Linkin Park song.

Oh, come on Chris. Let it out. Voice your opinion. Fight the power! ...Yeah. Ignorance. Above nearly everything else. Acting just plain stupid pisses me off enough that I just want to stab somebody with a blade. Like this one guy at school, his biggest insult is calling someone a "Nazi Jew". Like I said, plain stupidity. But racism is my biggest beef. So much so that I threw a fork at my mom one time when we were watching TV, and some black woman won ten grand, and was jumping about all excited [like any sane person would be], and my mom said, and I quote, "Stupid n****r." It was at this point in time that I pegged my mom in the jaw with the fork. Only the handle hit her, though, unfortionatly.

Gee, Fly-T. Thank you for twisting a dagger. If someone takes time out of their self-hate to apologize for rash and uncontrolled behavior, you could at least not point out something repeatitive about it. Perhaps he IS sorry from the bottom of his heart. Ever stop to think about that? And John, no need to say you're sorry to me. I'm a generally forgiving guy, and if you want to off yourself in an RPG if you feel you can't hack it, then Hell, go right ahead. To be honest, three-fourts of the members that signed up for that RPG were gonna be 86ed anyway, since they didn't really follow the story too well. Eheh. :shifty:

I find that screaming in a complete and total insane rage expresses me well. I also play cards a lot, I talk. Blare music at uncalled-for volumes of loudness, and generally vandalize my neighborhood.

I think you need to comprimise and meet somewhere in the middle with these two banners. Like Mitch, I hate the layering. It's horrible and fugly as ****. Eighty-six it. 5/10

It's too smoothe to be a dead tree. Trees are jagged and make sharp bends in periodical points. Those are at best, simple tentacles on an contrasting background. Whoop-de-do. 3/10

It was gaining on nightfall now, Arano getting accustomed to his surroundings. It was much like his home as a child before he left for training, only hotter. This bleak clearing of greenish-brown underbrush nearly reminded him of rice patties, a favorite place for him to escape to when he was bored or feeling adventurous. As he walked into the camp, eyes traced him with wonder, curiosity, and confusion. Some whispered amongst themselves, some avoided the subject by eating and drinking, and some outright ignored him. However, in a tent near the podium, a soft glow came from within, due to a small fire. Inside sat eight Shades, a war council. Among them was Kenratu, his Advisor, Leila, Rayne, and Arano. They sat on small, smoothed rocks, discussing the next day. Kenratu: "I suppose we should do a mockup of our first attack. The only problem is that Amatros is gone to who-knows-where." Arano: "He's lost his sentience for a while. Sadly, the magick he performed cost him his mind for around three days. After that, he'll have to go into a two-week hibernation. It's a rare spell that can be used to summon anything from anywhere. But the selected location has to involve that specific anything." Advisor: "Does this mean that tomorrow's attack is postponed until then?" Kenratu: "No, of course not. We'll just follow our original plan when we were unsure if Amatros would be able to come into this world; we'll section off the cities. Put up a necromantic barrier. I trust that, you, Arano, can do something to that effect. Or maybe Leila can forge a wall of fire." Arano: "Murtaku no Uki does little over large distances; go with the latter." Leila: "I don't know if I could keep it up for long periods of time, however." Shade General: "Why not just start fires throughout the city? It wouldn't be anything like Amatros could do, but it would have moreover the same effect." Shade General2: "Or we could just storm the entire city like all Hell. If we do it at the right time, it would be no problem." Kenratu: "Hmm. This has become increasingly difficult." Arano: "Well. There might be a way to get Amatros back...now. But he wouldn't be as strong as he currently is. He would revert to what he was when you first crossed him over to this dimension. It would take a few hours, Kenratu, but with the Rune, it would be a simple incantation. Ten minutes of chanting in the native tongue, and sit and repeat the spell in you mind for the next three hours. And he would just appear over the gate, and that's it." Kenratu: "Very well. Clear the area. I don't want any distractions."

I'd love that my friggin background would be able to appear in the AIM window. o.
Originally posted by Deus Ex Machina I think he was referring to the number it has killed out of the actual cases. Ie, people who actually had it.. I mean, come on.. people who've never had this thing can't have died from it, can they.

Originally posted by Medra Sadly, however, I'm afraid I'm going to have to stamp a big, old 'Dunce' label on your forehead for that comment. Or maybe not, just because you have defended your point well, and this was just the ratio of the people infected vs. the people that have died from it. ;)
Heh. I love doing that.
Originally posted by Elite That's not entirely true. Originally, yes, Sars was treated as a common cold as that's what the symptoms surfaced as; but not now.
That's actually what I was referring to; the beginning of the deaths. My point on that was maybe if the doctors looked just a little more into it, they might have nipped this in the bud just a little, and maybe the 'outbreak' wouldn't have been so...'wholly widespread'.
Originally posted by Elite Canada has had well over 100 cases for Sars, and they have a very good medical system. Yet, 8 or so people have died from it. It's a deadly disease, and it's not deadly because doctors aren't treating it the right way.
Can you honestly say that maybe there is something those brainiacs of whom we lay the lives of ourselves and loved ones in the hands of could have overlooked something or just not given 110 percent?
Originally posted by Elite I would be worried about catching it in some ways.. but in others there's nothing you can really do except for wait to see if a vaccine/cure is found.
Like I said, take care of your body and get to the doc even at the slightest sign. We can't have l337y getting sick, now can we? ;P
Originally posted by {SITH} Change it's the common cold killing 1 out of 25.
According to you, therefore, if eighty people have died from it, that means that the entire world's population is 2,000. Imagine that! I could have swore New Orleans alone had over two million people. Huh. Please, don't be so foolish. The reason those people died was because their problems were treated as just a cold, not something more. Kind of reflects on the doctor's care for the patient's well-being, eh? LOL. Sadly, however, I'm afraid I'm going to have to stamp a big, old 'Dunce' label on your forehead for that comment. Or maybe not, just because you have defended your point well, and this was just the ratio of the people infected vs. the people that have died from it. ;) And for all of you saying "Laugh now, but when it comes your way, I'll laugh when you're in your death bed with this ****", I have news for you. I live where the West Nile virus is like crack on a corner; it's practically everywhere. Yet you don't see me going around spraying two cans worth of OFF! every thirty minutes. Wanna know why? Sheer numbers. The chance of me myself getting bitten by an infected mosquito is something to the effects that I would get hit by lightning before I get infected.

And what, then, would you suggest that I put there? Heh. Trust me, I tried just about everything. I even went as far as tentacles. Trust me, it's better off like that.

It's plain, to say the least. If you wanted it to be darker than most banners, that's fine. But when it gets to the point where I have to quite literally press my face against the screen to even see anything.. Well, that's just a bit too dark. And the smaller text is horrible. What color is it, lime? Spinach green? Ugh. Nasty, funky, and fugly. 4/10..or something.
-
Eh, it took about ten minutes. Nothing special. Just a gradient effect with a semi-barcode on top and clouds on the bottom. Enjoy, if you dare. Rate it if you wish.

Vaccines, Chris. lol Personally I think it's just a bunch of ********. So people are having problems with a cold on steroids. Big deal. That's why there are, as said above, vaccines. And if you get it, just get your *** to a doctor and take in plenty of vitamins and rest. I mean, Hell. It's the common cold on speed. Treat it the same way, people.
-
Rummel? Pah. He deserved it. But I suppose that is crappy. If the guy was all right, and then nobody called 911, I can kinda understand that. But Hell. I think it just might be a bit more complicated than someone just talking on their phone, John [Yes, I'm implying a hit and run].

Florida's always cool. Last time I went to the park though was when I was...five or six. O_o;; But I remember Splash Mountain was gangsta as all Hell. Too bad my bum-*** won't be going back any time soon. o.<

OOC: I just have one question...why are you people talking to my character when he and Loren are in the construct? Bah. And why did you start a fight at a concert John? I swear, some of you...Egh.
Originally posted by Rick Hunter A dead franchise should remain dead!
Okay then. *shoots Robotech* It's Fox that's making the new live-action movie. The UK will get the movies...you just have to order them. Duh. The only good movies are 3, 8, 9, 12, and 13.

Neil's entire essance became suddenly vicious, as his hand came around. Like a rocket, it connected with her cheek in the form of a bakchand. Spit came flying out her mouth as her head snapped in full reverse, her red face burning furiously. At the same moment that he punched her, he had also let go of his grip on her leg. So, following the laws of nature, Loren literally flipped backwards from the force of the blow. She came to terms with the blood in her mouth, and flipped up again. Once more, she thrusted her open palm forward, aiming for his stomach. Neil swung hard with his left arm, and caught her wrist. In a whip-cracking motion, he had stunned Loren with a powerful lash, and brought her own arm across her neck, and finished with an iron-strong hold from behind. Loren's face turned red, lacking oxygen. If she went to pull her arm free, she'd dislocate her shoulder. If she tried to kick his legs out, he'd fall, taking her arm with her and therefore crushing her throat. If she would go to try and backhand him with her free fist, he could easily counter by punching her in the back of the head, thusly breaknig her neck. She had no choice but to sit back, and watch all that around her turn black... With a sudden twitch that brought precious oxygen back, she felt him let her arm go. She stumbled away, no time for grace or fancy flips. She fell t her stomach, sucking in air. After a minute or two, she stood, eyes partially glazed over. She rubbed her sore shoulder while her eyes cleared, and once more shot right through Neil. Loren: "Nice hold. I'm still wondering why you let me go, but it was still nice." Neil: "Pah. I wanted to prove a point. Being graceful and jumping around like a little birdy is fine and dandy if you want to put on a show, but in The Matrix, it'll get you killed. I could have easily snapped your neck or hold your arm back tighter, and an Agent would. I only let you go because, one, you're part of this team, like it or not, and two, you're too fine for me to kill." ;) Loren: "Remind me to kick you in the nuts when we're done." Neil: "Will do, sweetie." Loren: "...I have REAPEATEDLY told you not to call me that. So DON'T." Neil: "Will do, sweetie." Neil was instantly met with a dropkick to the nose. He fell over, quite comically, before standing up, holding that same nose, which wasn't bleeding, even though he was acting as if it had exploded. Neil: "HAHA. I'M OKAY FOLKS! DON'T WORRY ABOUT ME!!" It was at this point that Neil fell over, as if part of a joke, writhing. Loren kicked him in the ribs semi-seriously. He stopped his tom-foolery, and looked at her. She gave him that look, and he stood once more. Neil: "All right. C'mon. We need to get you stronger so that you can stop hopping about like a little bunny and do moves that actually hurt." He turned to the door, opened it, and continued walking towards the weight section of the construct, ignoring the punch to the back of the head Loren gave him on the way.

Two points prove my statement; 1) I never specifically said my comment was direct to you. 2) The Para Para Brothers were in GT, not Z.
