Honestly, I want Iraq gone. Nuked off the face of the planet. Due to Saddam's army, my older brother's best friend's older brother [whom I was actually close with] never returned home. This decade old vendetta ends now. Since America still houses more nukes than the START1 treaty allows, well...*paints target on Iraq* Here's America's chance to make themselves legit with Russia. Also, Iraq and Saddam "support terrorism". Haha.

Gunfire gave too late of a warning to the doom that would befall the civilian. Heavy fire missed the speeding figure of Amatros, who dove on the blind side of the humvees; he came straight down. Upon nearing the ground, the beast arched up, feet kicking out. His claws closed into the shoulder blades of the civilian, and he used his kinetic motion to send him sky high. Still in the grasp of the dragon, the human went into shock from the pain. Few things in the world can match the pain of being impaled. Higher and higher, wings pushing them higher still. With enough force to crush steel those huge, demonic, bat-like wings flapped, sending them to cloud level in mere seconds. Then, the world slowed. The human could hear the growling snicker of Amatros and as well his own heartbeat, growing faint. Blood continued to spill from his wounds, and his stomach flip-flopped. And then... ... They fell. Like a rock, Amatros dove straight down. His wings pushed him down with twice the strength as when he was climbing the ladder of altitude. He easily broke the sound barrier, and the human cried out as his heart flailed to a stop. Life fleeting from him, and eyes clouding over, his last image and feelings were having those serrated claws shred his flesh as they pulled out of his body, and seeing the hummer draw ever closer. The last thing he and the driver saw was each other. And it seemed, as if some power, that the world in it's entirty shook when the body of the civilian exploded and crushed into the humvee. Such a devestating blow, that the vehicle exploded. Amatros doubled around, ignoring the sting of bullets which split skin, but did not penetrate. He was low on the ground, so low that he could see eye to eye with the drivers. His aim, adjusted as he came to the front of the convoy. The lone Soldier that remained to stare at assault turned to run. All in vain. Amatros' jaws snapped shut, taking the man in from above his head and clipping his legs off. In a single bite, another life was taken. Blood burst outwards, spilling on the sand, on the underbrush, and the nearest humvees. Then, it seemed, as if with the speed of light itself, the dragon flapped his wings as before, and was gone from sight within a second. When a small squad of about twenty humans went to take down Kenratu, he was gone. Several footsteps marked here he had run back behind the cover of the shell of the hummer, and a small circle of sand pushed away where, obviously, he had taken flight. The humans shouted curses, and with rage in their hearts, pressed on towards the base.

Begin Black by Sevendust The butt of the cigarette flicked forward, into the snow. The man continued to scream, firing rounds off into the fog. He was coming dead on for Neil, who had by now taken out his knife. The blade had a few faint red spots on the serrated edge, but it was barely able to be seen. The man, slowing his sprint to a jog to reload, suddenly was taken down with a toss. An arm grasped the center of his shirt and hauled him to the side. Tumbling down a little ways, Marth came to a rolling stop against a soft tree trunk. He looked up in time to see a body, that of a deformed dog come flying over him. A loud snap was heard, and the limp form of the beast came to a drop next to him. He crawled backwards a little bit, gun aimed for the thing's face. No movement came of it. Suddenly though, a humanoid figure slid to a halt in the snow next to him, and pushed Marth to his feet. "Move f*cka, MOVE YO' LEGS!" Marth shrieked hoarsly, before diving up and taking to a limping sprint; he slightly twisted his left ankle. He heard the 'shink' of a blade being pulled free, and a very speedy pounding of feet approaching from behind. He craned his neck, and the teen that had bodily thrown him over the small hill before pushed him down and grabbed the gun from his hands, before Marth's head popped against a rock, hidden in the snow, and he blacked out. -- -- Neil fired the small pistol five times, each shot hitting the nearest dog in the eye. Still a good twenty meters away, the fog seemed to clear just so much so in this snow-filled ravine that aim could be perfected. The creature's legs buckled, and it slid to a stop in the powder, bleeding out. The last dog, as if having the attention span of a deranged gerbil, stopped, and began chewing away at the fallen beast. Taking this chance, Neil holstered the gun in the back lip of his jeans, and lightly backhanded Marth back to reality. Neil helped him up, and, bringing Marth's left arm around his neck, made a hastey retreat...

Cue Change by Deftones The small Honda Accord ground to a hault noisily. Fog, like looking into a solid wall, coated the area. Snow flurries drifted down, cradled by the soft breeze. This made no sense. Fog this thick, with snow. Natural law would prevent snow from reaching the ground, but here it was, coating the interstate with half an inch of powder. Neil got out of the car, right hand on top of the car, left foot on the ground, and right foot on the brake. His eyes scanned laterally along what was presented ahead of him. He did not budge when a sudden gale wind pushed him from the left, but after a minute, he sat back in the car. To his confusion, the car was dead. The engine had been killed and it would not start. The gas gauge showed a half-full tank. Neil flicked it with his right index finger, and ice on the inside shattered. There, the needle slowly dipped to indicate empty. Neil stepped out of the car once more, shaking the snow out of his hair. He reached into his left side pocket, and pulled out a packet of Camel Regulars. He snatched one out, after packing the box and throwing the wrapping carelessly on the ground, and put it to his lips. His hand dove back into his left pocket, returning the full box, minus one cigarette, and flipped out his silver Zippo. A short flick and puff, and he was on his way, lighter pocketed, and smoke let out his nose. -- -- -- Edit: ...Too...much...Max Payne. :drunk: :twitch:

Wind whistled past, a constant din in the ears of the beholder. Just ahead, dust was kicked up in a single column and was growing higher yet fainter with every foot it advanced. The enemy was moving at a considerable speed. Amatros, not one to be out done, pushed his wings back against his body, and plummeted nearly straight down. Fire, could one's eye keep up with the beast, would have been seen seeping through his teeth, not harming him, for he was made out of it. Bullets suddenly came his way, whistling sharply over the howling wind. Several made contact with his neck, his face, his back, but they did little. They merely bounced off, only to leave a noticible stinging sensation. As his body reached within twenty meters of the ground, his body snapped upwards, wings briefly flairing to alter his momentum to that of an Apache's forward leaning attack pose. The dragon's speed brought him upon the hummers quickly, much to his surprise. He barely had time to launch the gob of napalm that had been collecting in his jaws, and fly over his selected targets. Barely. The sphere of hellflames, the size of a VW Beetle, crashed into the second to last humvee. Reeking of fire and heat, it crashed backwards, fire blazing in it's trail. The ball had not yet broken, and clashed the two last cars together. Only then did that circular inferno unleash, in a dazzling and deadly display of a pyro's biggest wish. The two shells of the cars, flying upwards at least thirty feet out of the miniature mushroom cloud. The other humvees screeched and twisted around, coming to a complete stop. Upon that moment, the shadow of Amatros crossed them, and his body blocked out the sun from yonder high. A unanimous 'klack-klack' of cocking machine guns echoed from below, but Amatros only smiled, seeing the smaller dust trail, similar to what he had seen with the humvees' roaring speed advanced on what was the first hummer. It was about to be the third hummer lost in this round of pre-assult battling...

9:54 A.M. New Ikrantu Base Amatros: "We increase our numbers as planned." Several eyes snapped to the dragon, who was staring particularly hard at a young, teenage girl in the paddock. Ranging from questioning glances to sneering glares, every face in a twenty foot radius looked at the hulking beast. Shade Advisor: "Surely you're joking. And risk the demise of our cause? No, I don't think so. The more we bring into this world, the more we will awaken. Not to mention that those already able to perform the primal magicks would become more powerful." Amatros growled deeply, magma-like drool seeping onto the ground through his bared teeth. The advisor took a small step backwards. Amatros: "Do you take me for a fool? I know that, you bumbling idiot. But did you forget that if we open more gates, and bring more Ikrantu to this world, that our powers and abilities will strengthen at the same time, yet faster rate?" Shade Advisor: "Yes, but at the same time, we have limited numbers; the humans have all of their kind already placed in this dimension, which leads to more awoken at a faster rate." Amatros: "Speed over experience? Not likely." Several Shades Including Advisor: "Eh?" Kenratu: "What he means is that while they will have more numbers, they will also not be trained as you all are. Their lack of understanding of the arts of mana will scare and confuse them. Outbursts by those awakened will strike fear into those surrounding them, causing other humans to suspect them to be our kind in disguise. Overall, our advancements will give us the edge." Eyes softened, and brows wrinkled in thought. Humans in the captivity pen whimpered at the thought of the world being overrun by the Shade. Flies buzzed in harmonious symphony, and fires gently snapped. General milling around on part of the Shade carried on, and the one-by-one killing and cooking of the humans resumed. That is, until the wind brought noise of gunfire and explosions, very faint, but picked up by the toned senses of the Ikrantu. Amatros looked towards Kenratu, whom after judging the direction of the sounds, returned the favor. A single mouthed sentence came from Kenratu's lips, and Amatros was airborne in a split second; "Fry 'em."
Originally posted by Harry Has there been one in the past 6 months?
There have been many, specifically, in the middle of the Eurasia landmass. As for the topic at hand, I think Ken takes this. "Why the hell is everyone being so morbid?" Seriously, all of the nukes going off at once could not destroy all life on this planet. Whoever says a nuke could go off and destroy the world, well. You're a plain idiot. Even at the core of the earth [which, by the way, would never happen because of the gravitational intensity], all a nuke could do was make the active volcanos erupt. And, hello? Ever heard of sea animals? Hole in the oozone. Hmm. Once again, idiotic display of tree-huggers. UV rays are good for the skin. Light is heat energy and heat is a must-have for half of the things on this planet. For smoke and smog in the air, Hell. Since the age of the dinosaurs, scientists predict that the oxygen consistancy throughout the world has dropped thirty-three percent. Yet we're fine with it. We live with the so-called 'deadly' chemicals. Granted, some forms of gas are lethal, but please people. Wars. Hah, don't make me laugh. Refer to the nuke statement. If the icecaps melt...well. There are nifty inventions called 'boathouses' and 'higher grounds'. Plus, for all of the icecaps to melt you'd have to have the artic regions at, I believe, something about 70 degrees. Because, remember, even if it's warmer in the air, such a high amount of ice will freeze water over like all Hell. So while you've seen those pictures of a block of ice falling off of Antartica, remember that water underneath the surface is freezing to the underlayers. And lastly, overpopulation. Did you know that humans roughtly take up [or so the best I can remember from Nat'l. Geographic] 15% to 30% of availible land, excluding Antartica. People can move elsewhere and adapt to the surroundings. Which is why irrigation and domestication are so neato.

It was just that back in version whatever when I first started using it, it was like 1/4 a Kb too big and I asked James to put it up for me in the Control Panel. But obviously with the new server changes, he was able to up the amount of Kbs you could have for an avatar. But my main point was that I wouldn't care if someone else used the avatar I was using. My other side of the issue was that if you get your knickers in a bunch over something "stealing your avatar", then you really need to get out more often.

What would you do with a Trillion dollars?

How noble, Justin. But I so know you're lying. At least partly. You know as well as I do you'd go and get that 5.0 that we were talking about last night...:p -

9:34 A.M. New Ikrantu Base; Just South of First Attacked City Surviving humans were rounded up, striped of all possesions and clothing. Those carrying weapons - knives, guns, sticks; anything that could be used as a tool - were killed on the spot. Flames still burnt, but not with the furious and fiery pace as the had when first sparked. Napalmic in nature, these fires would have to burn themselves out. The town was quiet, save for the sound of the whimpers of humans and the soft hum of fires. The Shade were mostly silent, hunger taking them over. A makeshift paddock was created with debris - such as building support beams, burnt-out shells of cars, and even bodies stacked upon one another - and the humans placed inside. A narrow opening had led them one or two at a time to be killed, and then placed in a pile for the forces brunch. Haha. So twisted, this day would turn out to be. Kenratu, taking his time to oversee the process of herding his cattle, soared overhead, through the grey smoke that billowed upwards from the isolated fires. Everything was going to plan. Then he noticed the absense of all life which abruptly introduced him to the tattered downtown area, where the plan was for Amatros to disable. He apparently did a good job. The Shade General saw movement out of the corner of his eye, and saw a lighter shade of black than the ash down below. Of course, it was Amatros. He was making a buffet out of this area. Chunks of buldings were gone, soot was licked off the walls, and burnt bodies were devoured. Kenratu could literally see the difference in size in the best. He had grown three feet longer, and his wings [each one] had expanded four feet. The club-like knot on the end of his tail was thicker and heavier looking. Kenratu called the beast's name, and descended. Amatros looked up at him, a mental laugh ringing out over the city. Amatros: "I think we could call this a success." Kenratu: "Yes, well. We had the advantage. But like you said, we must pace ourselves. Wait until the Three can send support. Also... ... ..." Amatros: "What is it, old friend?" Kenratu: "The Three were right. Our movement into this plain of existance has caused awakenings. I encounted a white--" The dragon sat upwards, pushing off of his foreclaws. His right foot came up, the blackened material on his claws from before, still charred onto his nail. Amatros: "As have I. We must watch out from now on. Especially if we bring more into our battle. The more we bring in, the more we will affect this world." Kenratu: "Yes, of course. But for now...the slaughter of the pigs of this pathetic town must be carried out. Care to join us?" Kenratu turned back to the paddock, and took flight. For a few seconds, he was a bit disappointed that Amatros did not follow, but the sound of a tornato and the force of wind being oushed out as dust whipped about made him smile. Maybe, just maybe, the show of the full force of the Ikrantu would install the fact that these humans have met their time...

Get them all together and then have them sort out their own problems. You can be the middle man, but you are by no means to take the role as a matchmaker. Or you could be like everyone in the clique of friendsof mine and have everyone date everyone for a week and then see how things work out.

That just screams KoRn. Thus it rocks. Kick-***.

Amatros swooped down, deep downtown. A screaming mother, locked in mourn for the dead child in her arms, shrouded in the black, choking smoke. Her hair was matted down, fringed on the ends. Her skin was a tomato red, and she was drenched in sweat. She did not see the beast come flying in from above. His clawed, raptor-like feet came down like a striking rattlesnake, and pierced the woman's shoulders. Her crying for her child, did not cease. Amatros squeezed harder, but she still cried her baby's name. The beast climbed in altitude for a second, but turned around to eradicate the street, as planned. The dragon let out a throaty roar, driblets of charring magma flying from his mouth, as flames clashed with the cement below. The stone buildings and brick apartments melted like wax, and all below was ablaze. The woman's scream turned to one of rage, and she gleamed with a pure white. The light, stinging to touch, forced the shocked Amatros to drop his prey. The woman plummeted, still glowing, into the flames where she was incinerated in a split second. Amatros flipped around to watch this, hovering above. His animal face showed disbelief, as his snout whipped to point at his lower claws. Strands of smoke trailed off of his toes, and blackened cloth stuck to his nails. He knew what this meant. Awakening. His face darted to the spot where the woman's grave was, to his feet...and back to where the woman 'landed'. His face twisted in an uncontrollable snarl, as a fireball exploded from his roaring mouth, where it shot like a missile downwards, and utterly destroyed the block in a flash of napalm.
-
Magma dripped slowly out of the beast's mouth, at the left corner. It met with the Earth and burned a divot the size of a basketball into it. Amatros' hunger was growing with every minute. It was true then. His potential would never cease. As long as he was in this world, he would always have the need for death. -- -- -- A fireball, smoking with unbearable heat, soared from the sky, seemingly from nowhere. It collided with the power plant's generator, with an explosion that ensued and resembled a mushroom cloud, only of pure fire. The napalmic lava-like fire spread over nearby houses and buildings, catching the dry sheetrock and wood as if they were simple matches to a blow torch. The plan would indeed work. With no power, no early warning would be issued. With the snapping of electricity dying out from the severed power lines, Amatros dove down into the city, fire reaching out from his mouth in a jet stream that seemed liquid in movement. Through the black smoke he flew like the world's biggest bird of prey. He burst through the cloud of soot so quickly that only until he had left the mass of ash half a second later did the wind catch up with the smoke and push it over. In a very ominous display which lasted a few seconds, the sun was blocked out from the city. He went lower this time on his path, spewing flames once more. Business buildings erupted in fire, as did schools, as did restaurants, as did homes. A total of six passes, and the launching of fireballs to destroy the elevated highways. Hell had been unleashed in under four minutes. As part two of this grand folly, the dragon swept just north of the town, creating a half circle to the North, to flood the residents south, where the Shade lay in wait. 'Humans, prepare yourselves. Your unjust reign over this world has met it's end!'. That was the single sentence that echoed through every Shade's mind, as Amatros cried out with every fiber of his mind, casting the call of Death upon all humans...

One of my most embarrassing times...hmm. That would be walking into a busy street while talking to a friend. Good thing that Civic was lowered. >

Amatros: "I was thinking of hitting their power genorators first. End communications. Start a few wildfires on the outskirts and then circle overhead. I can feed off the ash of the fires, which serves the dual purpose of making me stronger and killing off humans." Shade: "But what about if stray flames hit occupied buildings? That could start a bit of chaos in our ranks, not to mention endanger out cause." Amatros: "Very well. I'll hit the power plant, end their means of information, and spray napalm over the roads. Prevention of incoming/outgoing help is our key to success. I can also run a circle around the first town and we can move on from then." Shade2: "Yes, but what about us getting out? If you do make a ring of flames around the town, we can't move ahead." Amatros: "Then I leave a space of thirty feet open directly northwest from the power plant. We repeat the process through the rest of the day. What say you all?" Most of the Shade nodded in semi-deep thought, and silence grabbed the camp once more. That is, until a single female voice spoke up. Rayne: "Why not just burn the entire city to the ground and move in on the refugees? They will try to escape a household hell and have extremely little chance to gather arms and protect themselves." Somewhere about 500 eyes turned to the dragon, and then to Kenratu. Kenratu: "Well. Seems as if we have our battle plan."

Amatros lumbered closer to the main and centralized fire. He got so close that he eventually had to crane his snakelike neck backwards. His left, reptilian claw was, like with all of his kind, was the joint to his wing; the outermost 'finger' extended to form the extra flap and half of his wing, and the same with the right side. That hand, if you will, with bladed meat hooks for claws, reached into the embers and grasped a clump of smoldering coals. With a crunch, his paw crushed the embers, and soot fell like a waterfall of ash. Then, the demon's eyes, glistening and glowering daggers of amber, turned to Kenratu. Amatros: "We had better attack the humans in isolated wars. While we hold the advantage in land and air, they simply have more numbers." Kenratu: "Which is why we're massing our forces first, my friend. You know these foolish humans. Independent until their selfish existence is threatened, and then they band together, but it's often too late for that. Dumb as rocks, they are. Just simple cattle." Amatros: "I can't help but wonder, however, if the Three down below will be able to keep up converting the slaughtered with the pace of war." Kenratu: "They will. Don't falter on our hour of conquest." A chilling silence descended upon the camp, as the gentle whisper of the wind was talking to the crackling of the many fires...
