Originally posted by SaiyanPrincessX I think it should stay, there is no harm in it.. My parents say if some people don't like it, tough! Go back to your country! They shouldn't have let them into our country in the first place! No there not racist or anything
Guess what? That is a racist slur. And honestly, if your parents aren't Native Americans, then they should shut the Hell up. I have Native American blood in me (as well as about everything else. :cross: ), so I know about that single comment. Started in the mid-1900s. Whites would protest the segregation. They told the blacks "Go home, [CENSORED]!!". (I belive so for the most part; it might have started around the 1800s after the Civil War, but I can't remember/trust my Civics teacher) So you know what? Your parents are racist. And if you're supporting them, then you too are also a racist. I'm an Amercian, and I oppose the Pledge.
Originally posted by Lady Macaiodh so, SuperSayian, you're basically talking about an "eye for an eye" kind of thing? i suppose that's a belief people have to decide for themselves. or maybe i'm misunderstanding you?
Exactly what I'm saying.
Originally posted by BabyGirl Until you've lived with someone with a disability and know how hard it is to fight for even getting them included in a goddamn elementary classroom, then you have no idea how shitty what you just said is to those of us who have :)
I actually don't know what it's like, except for what I've seen at school with the Special Education programs. To be honest, I still feel the same way. As a majority, so I've heard, mentally ill people want to be treated just like your Average Joe. So then, why turn around after years of trying to do that and say that they can get off of a death penalty? If they have sense enough to plan certain murders, then they should pay the price.
Originally posted by BabyGirl (Personal anger coming out...sowwy...it's not directed towards you...just a lot of stuff that's happened lately V_V; )
Heh, believe me, you're alotted to have some rage. God knows I have enough anger. So don't worry yaself about it, hear?
Originally posted by Nebula So you are saying, that no matter what everyone should be punished the same right? I get what your saying, but I don't totally agree with you. The people that were doing the killing, didn't understand what they were doing, why it was wrong or any of those things. I say NO to the execution of mentally ill/retarded people.
You're missing the whole picture. What I'm saying is, treat them like you would anyone that would be classified as 'normal'. But you have to admit, when someone of lower mental capacity commits a premeditated murder, then they should get whatever punishment that's deserved. So yeah, Lady Macaiodh said it the best on how I feel: "eye for an eye".
Originally posted by BabyGirl Actually, it's not as black and white as that. On the legal side of things it really depends on whether or not it was first or second degree murder, or voluntary or involuntary manslaughter. First degree murder is done with premeditation and malice, while second degree is done with only malice and no premeditation is involved. Voluntary manslaughter is if you're pushed to a certain point where you kill someone as a result of how you've been treated, and involuntary is if you were acting in a reckless way that killed someone but had no intention of harming them. Chances are that someone who is mentally challenged isn't going to have the mental capacity to commit first degree murder, or maybe even second degree. If they're found guilty of voluntary manslaughter, then chances are slim to none that they'd even recieve the death penalty for it.
Believe me, I know the degrees of murder. I hear "second degree" "first degree" "manslaughter" "self-defense" everyday. New Orleans is a hellova place to live. But if you notice, I said "then I think they deserve to get whatever they've got comin." Which means I feel that once they do ANY sort of crime, they should do the 'proper crime'. None of that humanitarian bull. They are human. Thus, they should be treated as if they were no different, since that's what they ask...
-
If they have the piece of mind to pick up a shotgun, go find a specific person, and blow their brains out, then I think they deserve to get whatever they've got comin. Besides, they wouldn't make it in prison; the inmates would beat the crap out of him/her just because he/she was different. Might as well put 'em out. Which brings up my next case--executions. Why must they take so long? Look at McVay or whatever his name was. Sure he wanted death, but how long did it take? At least five years since they knew it was him and got through trials. Well, why not just take him out back and shoot him? Why do we have to be so "kind" to someone who's ruined hundreds of lives, forcing some to die painfully under twenty ton pieces of cement? The solution to wasting millions of dollars on housing a psycho that blew up a building: drop a twenty ton block of cement on HIM. Make a building implode on HIM. Not make him spend five plus years in prision and give him a nice, slow, and peaceful death. Just take him out back after court and put him before a firing squad. This government is deminted with all of it's kindness policies towards mass killers' death.

According to GamePro, there will be quite a few titles worth looking for. I've taken the liberty of slicing up the games into catogories, so you can just skip to the certain ones you want. :) Remember, this is from GamePro June 2002, "E3 Expectations". Here we go. Genres are in bold, games are in italics, and the games' producers are underlined. I remember when I saw this. I was in total awe. Yeah, it all seemed so dammed real. When the doctor was saying "There's nobody there." I was thinkin "Jeez, the roomate's a traitor." But yeah, the thing about the little girl? I was wondering why she never got older... Weird stuff...

Bah. I really don't like bigots who think all girls are all wimpy-like. Not wimpy-like, but you know. BabyGirl said it the best, I think. "Girly-girl". That's just wrong. I mean, I saw a girl playing Duke Nukem once at a tournament in the mall downtown... So I challenged her, thinking it was going to be an easy victory (Mind you, this was when I was younger, and not so open-minded). Well, it came down to this: She kicked my arse. Yup, that was the turning point. When I realised that not all girls like to sit and play dress up. Ultimatly, I even began to accept the fact that some girls could beat me, and that's where I've progressed to today. Then again, I own the Red Faction world... Mwahahaha...!!
Originally posted by Transtic Nerve I have a question for some of you... In school, are you forced to say the pledge of alligence?
In my school, yes. Even though it's public, and we're not required/supposed to, the principal and teachers make us. I remember one time when I didn't stand up, and I got a detention. The next day, I was walkin about outside, and I saw that teacher (with whom didn't even belong in my classroom for the morning announcements), and I cursed her out. Screaming about how she has no right to tell me what to do. The next day when she had lunch duty on the field (You know, to be there in case any fights broke out like usual), and she didn't even come near me. I'm glad too. If she would've told me anything, I woulda belted her right in her friggin mouth. But yeah, the local government says we can't put Rebel flags in/on out cars or lawns, but makes us say the damn Pledge, when there are Athiests, Islamics, and even more religious-oriented, ethnic-related students in just one room. The Jefferson Parish School Board can blow it out their ear if they think I'm gonna say "Under God", or the Pledge at all. Edit: In a discussion with James... JamesOtaku01 (3:52:38 PM): so I think it's just a mark of respect, to stand JamesOtaku01 (3:52:41 PM): but you don't have to sing/say it SSayian5 Blank (3:53:24 PM): I would stand for it, except of two things: SSayian5 Blank (3:53:32 PM): 1) The "Under God" part SSayian5 Blank (3:53:40 PM): and 2) If we didn't HAVE to SSayian5 Blank (3:53:50 PM): If we had a choice to stand or not, then I would JamesOtaku01 (3:53:56 PM): Hm, yeah SSayian5 Blank (3:53:58 PM): If we were forced to, I'd sit
Originally posted by Deranged Gerbil the fight between ssj2 gokou and ssj2 vegeta ended in a draw, gokou was left laying because when he had his back turn to get a bean, vegeta knocked him out from behind
Vegeta won that fight. No doubt about it. At the rate they were goin at it, Vegeta would've whooped Kakarot's ***.
Originally posted by Deranged Gerbil yes, gokou could have gone ssj3, but he did not want to do this since it drained so much of his energy, shortening the time he has on earth greatly, in fact, after fighting buu as an ssj3, what should have been 16 hours until he returns to heaven, became something like 30 minutes, this is because of all the energy ssj3 drains out of the user
No, he didn't want to go SSJ3 because he didn't want Vegeta to see that he had been surpassed once again. Plus, it doesn't matter if he uses up energy--HE'S DEAD! He was guarenteed a full twenty-four hours on Earth. Besides, he was completely out of energy when Vegeta beat the skirt offa him. Thus, if the show followed your newbie point of view, Kakarot would've returned to the Other Dimension. But did he? NO. Idiot... Also, I'm sorry if you get offended easily, but I'm in a very bad mood.

First Case: Bush is doing his job, and he's doing it damn fine. Lay off the fella. Second Case: As for the people that support the Isreali, I'm not one of them. My mom was being all sad when there was a second bombing within twenty-four hours, and I said to her face, exactly "Who the Hell cares? Let all the ****in crazy ones kill themselves off, and then those people can get back to bein all democratic like they were in the 80s and ****". Now most of you might not see this case from my point of view. But then again, I really don't care. One of the benifeits of being 99.9% heartless.

Blight suddenly came to a complete halt, snarling. His face was aimed towards the left, where flies buzzed constantly, hovering over a mass accumulation of bodies from both angels and demons. There was an ever-so-low deep rumble, hardly noticible. Yet it caught his keen attention. Siren had stopped, for she did not want to bump into the Reploid from behind. But she did, however, wanted to know what the Hell he was doing. Siren: "What is it...?" Blight: "... ... ... Not sure. But I heard something." Blight's wings nealy instantly flared out, jets coming online ever so slowly to make him ascend higher above the knee-high grass. He adjusted the output of the boosters, so that he would not start a wildfire in the brown field off overgrown brush. Now hundreds of feet in the air, everyone stopped to look at him, Blight inspected the area. His eyes sharply darted about, his bionic vision zooming in here, out there, only to zoom right back in. Suddenly, he saw it. A large, rotten snout breeching the soil, trying to quietly surface. Blight used details of the fringe on the creature's nose to quickly accumulate the beast's approximate length, weight, battle capibilities, and such forth. Blight silently touched back down on the grass in his original spot. He turned himself so that he was half looking at Ken in front of him, and the people behind himself. Blight: "Draco. About thirty-five feet long. Maybe about seventeen tons. Wingspan, I'd say about,...fourty-two feet. So uh... I think we'd best move along. He was probably sent as re-enforcement for the demons, and from my data, they travel in packs of three to six. But, they know we're out here, and they're trying to be stealthy about it. What they don't know is that we know that they're here. So as long as we don't dash off suddenly or anything, we'll be fine." Destyr: "Like Hell! I'm not waiting to get eaten by some rotting lizard. I don't know about you guys, but I'm running to that Church, and sitting there until I get blessed or whatever so no demon scum can touch me!" Destyr went to run, but Blight just stood there, staring him down. Destyr didn't move, insteadm he just looked at the ground. Blight: "Wanna take a stab how far that town is? I'd say a good 450 meters. The average human runs a meter per second. Those Dracos could rip out of the ground in two seconds flat. Dracos can fly about 30 meters per second. In other words, you'd be dead within 2.37 seconds." Destyr said no more, as the group continued their trek to the town, being careful to take every step calmly. Blight's face was drawn tight with a tense look, as his left hand formed into his buster...
Originally posted by RicoTranzrig The game kinda resembled a 3D Megaman X game (if it existed)...maybe they can use some key elements off of the series.
Are you implying that DMC had a cast of baddies with low intelligence, a bunch of life-threatening puzzles that were completely moronic, and bosses that were all too easy to defeat and made singular, reaccouring mistakes? ;) I guess you are. :p In any case, I'm getting a PS2 soon, and I'll check out both games. And hopefully I'll be able to scrap enough money together later and renew my subscribtion to EGM (It expired in September...O_o;;; ) But ehhh... Lose the puzzles. Make the gameplay a bit harder, yet still fun. Keep unlimited ammo and ungradible parts. Raise enemy A.I. But for God's sake, do NOT make use have to push crates! UGH!

This is basically what Charlie said, but it's step-by-step, and a bit more descriptive: 1.Go to the farris wheel area of the suburbs. 2.Find the gas tank on the hill of the enterance of the farris wheel area. 3.Run into it and keep driving (You will go on top of the building of where you get Warthog) 4.Do NOT go into the hole on the building. 5.Instead just jump to the building to your left 6.Then use your turbo and jump to the building to your right. 7.There is a structure on the building, blow it up and it will reveal a black cube. 8.Hit the cube and a message will tell you that you unlocked the Prison Passage. Inside the secluded Simulator, Jitsu was busy hacking away battle droids, copied almost exactly like the ones that were used on the original fight with Naboo. It was all too easy. They'd come in pairs, on from the front, one from the back. All Jitsu had to do was side-step, then blow them away, using the Force. It was child's play. But suddenly, the simulator just died down. The low, decreasing hum signified that the system was shutting down. Jitsu came out of the Training Room, to see that the Hunters were filing into the Hall. Jitsu: "They're here already? I didn't even work up a damn sweat!" None of the Council members said anything, only looked at either the Hunters, or Jitsu as he sat back down...

XBOX, unfortionatly, has had a very bad rap on it's noodle, since it overall pales to the PS2, and is generally even with the GCN. Sadly, the reputation the XBOX has accumulated will turn more and more gamers to the PS2 and GCN. But let's face it; XBOX hasn't done exactly spectacular. On the contrary, the titles on XBOX are either later versions of PS2 or GCN, whereas other systems come out with more unique games. But, out of all the game systems in the world, the PSX ownz j00 all. I mean, 7 (Close to 8) years in America alone, and it's done better than most systems could dream to do.

Jitsu slowly walked behind the group, not saying a word. But his eyes showed his true feelings. It was as if he was enraged, yet happy to an extent at the same time. But slowly, enragement took over. Haakol was pushing his luck. Why he might be a pinch stronger, he was getting older, while Jitsu was in his prime. Also, Jitsu had found new ways of controlling the Force, which was also aiding to constantly stengthen him. Jitsu shook out of his train of thought when he realized that the Council was farther ahead of him. He didn't worry about it, and kept his pace the same. Reaching the training hall several minutes later, he got some sneering looks from several Council members. Apparently, they were waiting for him for something. Xanko was looking half at Jitsu, and half at a seculeded room up in the private room for observation. Jitsu now understood. While the Jedi Masters got seated in the private room, Jitsu was getting ready for battle in the Training Simulation...
