My worst teacher was my grade one teacher! I know that sounds ridiculous that a teacher for that age group could be that bad, but it's true! Maybe she was hard on me because she knew my mom (my older brother was in her class, two years earlier), but I guess I'll never know. Anyway, I used to get detention practically everyday (yes, they DO give you detention in grade one). I missed many recesses because I had to stay inside, and I even came home sometimes an hour late from school because of these detentions. I got detention, mostly for being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Once, it was because we were supposed to line up, and we did. The teacher left the room, a classmate said someone had the cooties, and so everyone went wild. Someone gave it to me, so as I was about to pass it unto someone else, the teacher came back into the room. Only I had to stay in for recess that day. I also was banned from sitting beside my best friend because we "talked" a lot. One incident that happened was when I was in detention. I had to draw an elephant for a journal exercise we had to do. She yelled at me because I sounded like I was scribbling, but I was actually shading in the elephant with my pencil. She felt bad and gave me a nice sticker (trying to buy me off ) The day I realized that there was something wrong with this whole evil teacher situation when her husband had a heart attack. It may sound horrible, but I was very happy that day because she was on leave, and it was karma (I was practically cackling in my head). Then I felt bad for her when she came back to school. All in all, I swear this was the start of my anxiety problems.

What year was your favorite birthday? I don't even know! To me none really stand out. Maybe the birthday where I ended up getting three cakes. One for school, one for my actual birthday, and one for some other reason I can't remember. Or maybe last year where I went on an adventure to Chapters with my friend and my brother. It was very relaxed. What year was your worst birthday? My 16th! (It seems like a lot of us didn't like it). I was so miserable that day! My mom woke me up early to be the first to wish me happy birthday (I wanted to sleep in). And I was feeling sick and boiling in the summer heat. What is the best gift you have ever received? My friend wrote me a song! And gave me a ukelele and the tabs for the song. When is your birthday, anyway? Tomorrow (July 2)

Surprisingly, my immigrant parents didn't beat me much. I was a good kid, who didn't do a lot of foolishness. The only times I remember getting spanked was when I dialed 911 (my sisters were having a screaming contest, I hung up the phone, they called back and asked to talk to my father, I ran like hell, but he still caught me -_-'), and when I touched wet paint after my dad told me not to. I deserved it. I think I did threaten to call children's aid on my mom. She told me go right ahead because I'd be running back home after living in foster care. She then reminded me about my cousins in the system and told me I should be thankful for having parents.

What did you want to be when you grew up?
I remember Bill Nye! He was awesome. Did you ever manage to blow anything up?
Unfortunately, I've only set things on fire. Like the time when I was heating up some wax in a little pot (to do my mom's chin), it somehow caught on fire. I started to scream, my sister came in the room, put it out and looked at me oddly. Good times. Another job I wanted when I was younger was to become a Calligrapher. It seems like it is pretty obsolete nowadays due to computers. -
I guess they don't know that just because you donate sperm, doesn't mean you get to have sex with the woman.
I guess Tellus (a Canadian phone company) isn't that bad.
Telus doesn't work well on my campus! :p My phone is usually on vibrate. That or I set it to flash when someone call, when the vibrate annoys me. Other than that, my ringtunes/tones are: Tetris for my Parents The Scale-Interpol for Friends Megaman for my brother A funky tune for my sister A jazzy tune for my other sister My default is Tetris too, it used to be Somebody told Me. My wake up tune is currently Dragon Roost from LoZ; Windwaker.

Geologist

Me too! But, then I realised that math is evil. I'm majoring in Geography, and there's still a lot of math in it! Anyways, my list:

Artist; Then I realised I cannot draw
Fashion Designer; Sewing machines and other machines needed are too expensive. So are fabrics.
Flight Attendent; I really, really wanted to become one! But, then I started to get motion sickness again...:animeswea
Day Spa owner; This was in combination with me being a fashion designer:animestun
Cosmotologist; I thought it'd be like playing dress up or something all day.
Singer; I can sing, but not that well
Chemist; I liked the thought of mixing chemicals that could explode. I was the kid that had to be reminded that Bill Nye said not to do his experiments at home. My mom was always afraid that I'd burn down the house.
-
RANDOM FACT; There are only three places on Earth where St. Patrick's Day is a public holiday: Ireland, Newfoundland and Montserrat (my mom's from there :p) Anyways, I'm definately not getting drunk. Too expensive and I like being in control. Maybe I'll wear green, if I remember.

My first job was working at a water park when I was fifteen. I did the minigolf, batting cages and land rovers. One of my cousins worked there, so we used to harass each other on breaks. I hated the job though, summer is wayyy too hot! And sometimes the track that but the balls in the batting cage machine would get stuck. I had to manually but the balls on the tracks to the shooting thingies. People used to yell at me to hurry up. Jerks. AND I realised that they cheated me on my pay. I turned 16, as I was working, thus I was supossed to get paid more after my birthday...

My House is Tipeed: Im left in Despair!
celestialcharm replied to Godot's topic in General Discussion
At least it's just tipeed. Apparently the day after Halloween last year, someone thought it was funny to go around the street smashing people's car windows. My sister's car was one of them. -
I read it. What happened was different and unexpected... I liked it though...
When I saw the name Renessme, I thought GHETTO! I mean, it made SENSE to name her that but STILL!
And the movie is coming out on Nov 21st, for those who didn't know.

:o If someone could spend $50 000 on a necklace, they can donate some money to this poor university student!! I can barely even afford to eat. So, even if I had money to spend on stuff like that, I'd feel guilty!! I would keep thinking, I could have used this money to pay rent, or a bill. So everything I buy clothing and jewelry wise is cheap. I actually met a girl at my school who bought her jeans for about $250 dollars! They looked nice, but not that nice...

Valentines Day. What will you do?
celestialcharm replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in General Discussion
I have no time for Valentine's Day. I have not one, but two midterms the next day, so I'll be studying. BUT, I'll go shopping for some discount candy after my midterms. -
I never dated before... >_< I don't know if I want to. It seems weird. And apparently I'm oblivious to people who like(d) me. Plus, there's the whole parental thing. Even if I wanted to date in highschool, I couldn't. I got into trouble because my friend hugged a guy! Then another one of my friend's got a bf. When my parent's found out they were like "I don't want you hanging out with her anymore." They think that if a guy touches me, I'll get pregnant or something. Now, after I get my university degree, they'll be asking me when I'm going to get married. :animestun They already started (and the majority of the relatives too) to do that with my eldest sister (my mom went on saying how when she was her age, she was already married and pregnant with her.) So, even if I wanted to date, it would have to be in secret.:animesigh Anywhoo, dating seems to change people. My brother started to go out with my friend and I already don't like it! When he told me, I thought he was playing a trick on me (I'm still in denial.) And now he's being all optimistic and stuff about it and did the whole facebook relationship changing thingy.

My second semester of university just started. I have two days off! But, I still don't really know what I think of university life. It's really weird being alone and I live off campus so it's harder to meet other first years. And after first semester, I realised that I really should read the textbooks before midterms and finals. Reading them during the last few days before exams made me have a headache. And this semester some of my classes have so much assignments due. So I guess I can't get too lazy.

I just think Edward and Jacob should get together. That would solve the whole problem. *fantasizes* :)
That's also a good way to solve the hateration going on between vampires and werewolves. ;) I bought Twilight about a month or two ago, because I needed a good book to read. It was the worst decision I ever made! I am now addicted to the series. I bought the other two books on Saturday because I went on a shopping trip to the States, and I made another bad move and started to read New Moon. I finished it at about 3 am this morning... I am so tempted to read Eclipse, but I should be finishing my psyc paper that was due at 5 today.:animestun But, this series is just too good! Vampires, werewolves, being on someone's hit list...why can't my life be that interesting? lol But, I would have so slapped Edward for
leaving
if I were Bella. And poor Jake!
If she doesn't want him, I'll gladly take him!

At least he doesn't leave dishes in the sink after every meal.
:o I don't mind dishes in the sink, but I get pissed off when people use my dishes and leave them in the sink! My purple plate was missing for days! And someone must have left food in my pot, so now it's stained! If they had just washed it after they used it, it would have been fine!:grumble:

I wore some 80s clothes to a party the night before. It was more of a reason to wear my mom's pink sweater (it's so comfy!) I bought some black tights and grey (I couldn't find any funky colours) legwarmers. BUT, yesterday, I saw someone as Duffman!:p

My day was pretty sweet! This morning, I watched Sayonara Zetsubou Sensei. Episode 9 is finally subbed. :) I only had two classes today, a Spanish seminar and a psyc lecture. Spanish was interesting. It's a beginner class so we went over how to say certain jobs and how the whole last name scheme works. The lecture in psyc was about schizophrenia. We watched two clips about it, to help us understand some of the paranoia and thought disorder. Tonight, I'm going to do an anthro paper, my Spanish work, and pack up my things to go home tomarrow! :D EDIT; I forgot to mention that I got a multimedia text this morning from my sister that someone broke the passenger's window on our family's car!:@

I would really become a teacher if I had a class as crazy as Itoshiki Nozomu! I really liked the part in Ep 7 with the
"pi"rate kid. I have a friend who is really obsessed with Pirates of the Caribbean, so I sent her a screen shot.
I don't think I needed to put spoiler tags for that lol. I also like getting people addicted to this show. I got my brother addicted, so we keep making references to it :D My brother was the one who pointed out to me that there was a
person under that bed.I bet it's a person who has "deep love" for sensei.
lol It seems like everyone will. :D I know he has stolen my heart.
I don't see any reason for that to be true. If it were true that one was illegal while the other wasn't (and that sounds kinda crazy in the first place), it would be more logical for downloading to be the illegal one. Then again, everyone knows Canadians aren't quite all there in the head--it must have something to do with the low air pressure. :)
Yeah, I always thought that made no sense. I looked more into it and I found:

Downloading a song for personal use is not an infringement.
Placing a song in an on-line music-sharing directory such as Kazaa is not considered distribution

and
But legal experts have said it may be difficult for those companies (major record labels) to come after Canadian internet users.
because
Justice Konrad von Finckenstein said the Canadian Recording Industry Association hadn't shown copyright infringement by 29 people who had allowed their music files to be uploaded. Making files available in online, shared directories is within the bounds of Canadian copyright law, von Finckenstein ruled.
Thus, I can legally download music, but I don't like to anymore because of annoying viruses!
