I really need a job! I want to go on the school trip to Costa Rica for next March Break, so I really need the money. Plus, how am I supossed to buy me some manga? Anyways, I thought about it, and I decided maybe I should try to work at a hotel. There's a bunch where I live. Or maybe even a book store and if all fails, I'll work at a grocery store that my sister used to work at. I really don't want to work there because so many people I know from school shop there. Then I'd have to talk to them, because it would be rude not to. Not that I hate anyone or anything...

My neighbours are pretty good, except one incident. A few years ago, my mom stayed home from work because she was sick. My siblings and I were at school, my father at work and my cousin was downstairs sleeping. My mom woke up because of heavy knocking at the door. She went to go answer it, and it was my neighbour, from the house beside ours. Back in the day, my brother and other neighbour hood kids would play baseball. Anyways, He came to the house drunk. He started yelling at my mother and accused my brother of knocking off the side view mirror off the car he never even uses! My mom said that my brother wasn't even playing baseball, but the man continued to yell. My mom's head started to hurt. The man continued to yell, so my mom called my cousin to handle this. He came up stairs and asked the man why was he harassing his sick auntie. Eventually, his wife came and apologised to my mom about her husband's behaviour. We ended up paying for the mirror. I walk past his car almost everyday, and he used silver tape to repair it himself. i wonder what ever happened to the money... I forgot some other drama! My neighbour across the street moved in a year or two ago. This family is made up of a man, and his grown daughter. This daughter is known to have a thing with married men. She even told my parents about how her man is cheating on her with his wife! Nowadays, she comes around my house a lot, asking for my dad. My sisters, brother and I are convinced that she has a thing for my dad!

I kinda noticed that not many people like black women... Not even black men. Not white men... Not even white or black women like black wemon. They are pretty annoying (When they are angry).
There's a few people who do like black woman. My friend's bf loves her off. He stalked her before they started to date, but that's another story. ;) I have no problem with interacial relationships. My dad's grandma was Scandinavian, and she married his Afro-Carribean grandfather. Enough with my background. My parents of course say that I can marry who ever I want, if they have a good education. Now, my dad thinks that black men are no good. He is certain that my sister's boyfriend is cheating on her, and he secretly wants my sisters and I to marry outside of our race. Now my mom, she wants us to find a nice 'educated black man' as she puts it, and wants my brother to find himself a 'sista.' But, the only thing which seems hard is that sometimes the children of the interracial couple sometimes have a hard time fitting in. My friend is half-French Canadian and Half-East Indian and she thought that she would have to pick a side.

Here are the characters that are going to be in the new movie, so far I'm liking the line-up they have. But as told before, Gambit will not be appearing in this movie (very odd, but I hguess they didn't have room for him or something)
NO!! WHY?! Aw, that totally sucks! I like Gambit. His accent was so cool. But so far the line up is cool, except for the no Gambit part. Anyhoo, does anyone know what the story line for this movie is?

Well I have had a strange desire lately to buy a belly dancing outfit since I've always found Arabic-style onces that are hand-made to be extremely beautiful. I've always wanted to take up some kind of middle-eastern dance.
I take bellydance, and I have the urge to get one of those outfits! Anyways, other than that, I want to get me one of those pirate outfits, but not the stereotypical kind. A cool pirate outfit. Also, lately I really want to get a victorian outfit with a fan. I like the lace and frills. Now technology wise, I want a DDR arcade machine for my room. Edit: How could I forget my island?! Ever since I read in a book that it's possible to purchase your own private island, I wanted one. I would declare myself Queen!

I would have to say, my favorite number is 2. I like it because it's even, and I was born on the 2nd of July. It's sweet having fireworks the day before my birthday. Once, Canada Day was celebrated on my birthday, so I was like 'FIREWORKS ALL FOR ME!" Anyways, other than that, I don't know why I like the number 2. I guess it is fun to write. Especially any number with 2 in it. Like 22.

I remember when I was younger, I dressed up like a boy, because my eldest sister did. One day, she went to the hairdresser, to get her hair did, and some person came to try and sell my mom something. With the product, you would get a free boom box, so the person said something about how it would be great for a young boy like him, as I stood beside my mom. She playfully punched me (it hurt too!), and I remember my mom saying, 'Uh, this is my daughter' O.o The person apologised, but said I make a cute boy! In Europe, it was crazy! I saw so many people who I tried to figure out if they were a girl or boy. I never did figure it out..

I don't even use my cellphone. It's been out of money for a while, and I left it at home on vacation. It's useful for it's alarm and it's clock though. Plus, I like the frog charm I got for it. Whenever I walk with it, it jingles and makes it seem like a cat is coming. Also, I added a Sasuke Uchiha keychain to it. Anyways, like everyone else so far, I'm depedant on my computer. How I lasted 10 days without it, I don't know. I just didn't think about it, which was tough. It's almost like a child to me, if it blew up for some weird reason I swear I'd cry, or at least mope around for a while...

I'm also fond of The Wizard of Oz (of course :p) and Jesus Christ Superstar.
*starts singing Jesus Christ Superstar* I love watching it every Easter. Another one of my favorite musicals would be Newsies. We have the VHS, DVD and the CD. Isn't it fun singing along to musicals?

I first though... Snakes on a plane? I hope no snakes were hurt in the making of this film! Anyways, who would have thought someone would have made a movie with snakes on a plane?! That is so random, and I like. So I guess this will be the movie I'm watching for my bday. Hopefully I don't die of laughter.

I could never understand why people give nicknames that are longer than the persons normal name. Nicknames given to me: Charmander: I got this one when Pokemon was new/popular back in '98, but it recently came back and now people call me Charmander again. Char-Charlene: Some guy in my keyboards class said my name sounds like a Pokemon, so now that's how he says it by repeating the first sylable a couple of times. (Jeez what's up with people and Pokemon?! Now I feel like playing the card game) Charleney: I got this one in grade 6 or something, and again people started to call me it. Char: I guess my name is long, so people like to shorten it to just 'Char.' Charles: My mom calls me this. It's pronounced more like 'Sharls.' Chaly: My dad calls me this. He has an accent so he drops off the 'r.' Now the Nicknames I gave to people: Pervert: Well, my brother and I decided to call my friend's bf pervert, because he kept touching her! And she was sick too. So hah! Boy: I used to call my brother this because he was the only boy, but then he hit me a couple of times so I stopped. Ashy: Since everyone gave me a nickname, I decided that Ashy would be perfect for my friend. I think that's all for now.

Aw, this brings back memories of my dance class. For Christmas, everyone wanted socks! Anyways, I would rather go barefoot, but socks are just too cute! I like wearing two different kinds, like my Valentine's Day and my Christmas ones together. My favorite socks that I have right now are bright pink, with rainbows and frog faces on it. I also like my black and white legwarmers. Now I have an urge to buy some more socks and legwarmers.

So then would you rather: -chain-smoke 10 and kiss your current boyfriend/girlfriend.
I would smoke 10, and I technically wouldn't have to kiss anyone because I don't have a boyfriend. Plus with the 10, I would have less of a chance of getting sick. Anyhoo, would you rather: Watch This is Daniel Cook for a full day, or Boohbah for a full day?

I'm Afro-Carribbean. I have a bit of Irish and East Indian on my mom's side, and I'm 1/8 Scandinavian on my dad's. I have a friend who is half French Canadian and half East Indian. She looks more Indian though. But, she used to really HATE her Indian side. Although she can speak Punjabi, she wishes that she looked Caucasian like her little sister, who is a brunette with these cute greenish blue eyes. The irony of it all is that her little sister is the one who hangs out with the Indian girls, while my friend hangs out with the Caucasian crew in my school. Anyways, I think she's embracing it a bit more because she started to hang out with the West Indian brown people.

Gaming Memorable/Favourite Gaming Moments
celestialcharm replied to celestialcharm's topic in Noosphere
Wow, alot of FF fans. Anyhoo, I guess alot of memorable moments are at my brother's expense... Oh well. When my brother was about 5 or 4 years old, that was around the time he got addicted to video games. One day he was playing Super Mario on the NES, and my sisters noticed he was crying. He kept crying as he played, so my dad asked him what was wrong. He said "I'm Hungry!" as he cried some more. It ended up that he didn't eat dinner because he was so into his playing! He was so hungry that he cried, and instead of asking for something to eat, he continued playing. -
"That's the last time I eat Sushi..."

I finally watched them all! My sister taped them for me. :animesmil Some of that lingerie was... intreasting. I like the clothes off my back episode. It almost makes me want to make a whole new outfit of stuff in my closet.
Some episodes are downers for me because I don't like any of the outfits
Yes, what were they thinking?! I guess it's there creativity... but still. But, I really don't understand why that woman made
Nicky the same dress. To me, the first one didn't even look good. Then she was acting like it was her own idea to Tim, and making him seem like he was wrong. Even Nicky thought it looked exactly like her Chloe dress. Then, there was that pumpkin dress that Andrae made in the Barbie episode.

I remember one time my sister was playing Animal Crossing. I was in the room with her, and she was too lazy to pay off her house. I watched her as she went into my brother's account, went to the bank, took about 100 000 or so bells (the currency in the game), and sent it to herself through letters. I told her not to do it, but she's older so she didn't listen. Of course, secretly I wanted her to take his money. Anyways, when he logged onto his account later in the day, it took him a while to realise that she stole his money. He even praised her for paying off her house because she got a statue. But, his reaction was priceless. Another time, my brother was so into his game, that my sisters and I caught him drooling! :rotflmao: So, I was wondering if any of you had a memorable gaming moment.

I skied about six-seven times. It is so much fun! Anyways, I snowboarded once. It was a huge mistake. I was in pain for so many days after! My brother also made fun of me because he thinks I am a way better skier than snowboarder. But, he's such a show off! We learned on the same day, and he was so much better than I was! I really want to go skiing before winter ends. I'm not sure if I would attempt snowboarding again... I think if I got my own board and practiced, I would be better. But, the closet resort around here is about 2 hours away.

I have so much favorite books! But, I really liked Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman. I feel too lazy to summarize it myself, so here's what Wikipedia has to say:
Sephy (a Cross) and Callum (a Nought) have known each other since childhood, but their different races stand in the way of their developing relationship, and gradually ruin every hope of them being together as they grow older. When Sephy becomes a drunk she escapes to boarding school to leave her old life behind, while Callum joins a terrorist organisation. When he is forced to kidnap Sephy, they make love and she becomes pregnant. When her father, a leading politician, finds out, he disowns Sephy and forces her to make a terrible decision- to sacrifice either Callum's life or her child's.
I'm into the whole Romantic Drama stuff...

My luck is absolutely horrid. Especially with women.

Really, you can't find someone on a first name and a look unless you work for the CIA. I'd advise taking the hurt and eventually getting over her.
Actually, I saw something on TV, that a man found this girl that he really liked. She was from Belgium I think, and he only knew her first name. He made about 50 000 to Belgium to people with her name, or describe how she looked, and eventually he found her. But... then again... Catie is a really popular name... If she was on TV, couldn't you go to the stations website to find her full name? Anyhoo, my friend was in a simular situation. She met this really cute guy when she was camping. She only knew his first name, when she left she ended up crying her eyes out in the car, etc. Basically, I'm saying next time you meet someone you really like, get their number, exchanged e-mail addresses or something. -
I never saw the clip, but did anyone see the women's snowboard cross? My sister said that she laughed... Here's how Wikipedia described it:
Tanja Frieden of Switzerland takes the gold in women's snowboarding cross after Lindsey Jacobellis of USA falls on the second to last jump while performing an unneccesary and difficult method grab to give up the largest lead of the entire tournament. Jacobellis settles for silver, while Canada's Dominique Maltais takes bronze.
I'm sorry, but that's just funny! :haha:

I was talking about the Karaoke Revolution Party game with my sister, and then 'American Women,' which is a song you could sing to in the game, came on the radio... Then later on in the day, I was mocking how the sims dance in the game and 'American Women' came on again!

WOOOOOOOOOOOO! Jen Hiel wins gold for Canada in the moguls! Me, I'm rooting for Canada... I love following the olympics. The opening ceremony was amazing. I'm most excited about the mens hockey tournament and the womens hockey tournament (We beat Italy 16-0... jeez). Go Canada! :animesmil
Go CANADA GO! That was so wonderful. The only thing that got me angry was how they said, 'And from the United States of America Jen Hiel' or at least something like that. The olympics are always screwing Canada over.
I'm hoping we don't suffer a shameful defeat in hockey
Come on! We all know Canada will win in hockey! I better knock on wood...
So every other nation should basically lay down and die or something, 'cause America's gonna win.
Guess what, Canada got a gold medal before America :p Anyhoo, in the Men's Speed Skating this morning, a guy from France fell! It happened so fast! If that was me, I'd get so pissed of because of how long, and how much training it took to get into the olympics. I think it was my cousin's fault he fell, our convo went like this: Her Sister: Do you think they could fall? Me: No! You know how much practice it took to get this far?! So, they wouldn't fall. Plus, aren't they supossed to be professionals? Cousin: But, what about figure skating. They fall all the time. Me: Hmm true... Then the scene where the french guy hit the black marker on the ice as he tried to go in front of somebody came on. We didn't even see it happen! The channel put it in slow motion at the end. The poor guy slide into the wall! Edit: I'm rooting for Canada, unless the person sucks, obscure countries (what sport is the guy from Kenya in?) and people who seem nice. Also, I'm going to try and watch as many sports as I can. Except curling...

Haha, I'm guilty of killing alot of threads. I think the 'Random Question Thread' was the last one I killed. It was probably because everyone's random questions were answered. Well accept mine! Oh well!
