OoC: Question--does Rikku being with Cid affect the game at all? Antherwords, will she have any further effect in the game or...*is confuzzled* Heh, 'cause you make it sound like...*is very confuzzled* Or is this just natch Survivor, and when Rikku is gone, she's gone? *waves to C_l* Bye, darlin'!

OK, here's a twist on the original question, brought up by Roxie's post--do nice gals finish last? I know that not all guys are hormone-y, but really now--every time some guy flirts with me and I show that I'm not interested in making the bed with him, he drops me faster than a SARS infested face mask. Even the "right guys" got mad when I wouldn't do it after a year of being together, and dumped me. So what's the deal? Pre-marital sex is evil? Virgins scare guys off? Do nice gals finish last?

Plain and simple. And in memory. Because of the emotional attachment, I withhold a rating. God rest Possum's soul.

DUDE! I am simply in awe over here. The proportions are--wow! And the shading is--ooo! And the sketch marks only enhance it and-- *gapes* Very, very, very nicely done. I cannot gush enough. (The only one I actually do not like is the 2nd from top, far left one--the eyes are...O_O) Solid 1o/1o. Ever consider going into animation or caricature? ^^; With your talent, I'm sure you've already considered that, if not there already.

Anything that promotes increased posting is going to promote SPAM. That's just the way it is. Just like things that are made to help mankind usually end up being twisted and corrupted beyond recognition, and causing more damage than good in the end. I'm one to talk at the moment, because I am involved in a FF:Survivor RPG (see sig) that equates Character level with posting per page. However, I've seen--up to this point--quality posting 97% of the time. (Another however--the people involved are quality posters.) As I said earlier, but in altered form: nice idea but been there, done that, not gonna do it again.

Ever had that feeling that something was wrong.
GinnyLyn replied to Tatum-X's topic in General Discussion
I constantly have that problem. Chalk it up, not to emotional fragility or paranoia, but trying to be unattainably perfect, heh. Though I have had that sense of forgetting something--I've saved my own butt on a few occasions with that. Most of the time, however, I'm just being ridiculous. Maybe I'm obsessive/complusive? Oo; Nah, I'm just really really weird. -
Heh, busy work question. Room I: Jemnezmy, 2 Toxic Frogs R II: Nothing here R III: 2 8 Eyes R IV: Princess Guard R V: Ribbon R VI: Correct Path (takes you further into Temple of Ancients) R VII: Trumpet Shell R VIII: Megaelixer R IX: Nothing here R X: Going backwards now (to entrance to Temple); this is pretty much where you start off. R XI: Nothing Here. R XII: Exit (Onwards to the Demon's Gate) TADA! OK, Question: In FF7, what is so great about the Ribbon? How many can be found in the game?

Maybe not so much a Depression forum, so much as a place to help with that. The only downside is that, being the online community that we are, some people will simply milk it for what it's worth. Not abusing the posting ability so much as making themselves some sort of pity case/drama queen-king. (Not everyone does that, but some do. Personal experience.) Then again, there are already online support groups for depression.

Anyone remember the evil that was the Star Rating system? I rest my case.

Deku Brothers I thought it was..."2 3 1...23 is number 1!"

The fourth one clearly shows what I'm gonna suggest for your first three and all your upcoming ones. Size, cleanup, lightness. Size: the easiest and least cumbersome of all these. If you have an imaging program of some sort, try to scale the pictures down. Part of the impact of a picture is lost when you have to scroll around to see the whole thing. Cleanup: nothing too bad on your part. Try to define your outlines a little more, be careful of your erase smudges (the 2nd one's mouth showed this), and keep up the excellent experimention you are showing in every piece. Lightness: As Sara pointed out, your pictures are coming out real dark. Someone else had this problem, but I can't seem to remember his name at the moment. He was "scanning" the pictures with his digital camera, I believe. In any case, scanners tend to capture the light better, making the image show up better. The reason I put this last is because scanners do cost a bit, so this could be the hardest thing for you to change right now. Keep up the good work. You have a great grasp of proportion, and I'd like to see some of your stuff in color.

More and more, Strabi's looking like an Imp/Rena cross. Oo; I'd still say use uncommon images. Those two pics will be well known soon enough, sadly. Ones like the Flamedramon really stick out--HOWEVER, there is always the matter of remembering to give credit where credit is due, in this case, the artist.

I wish I had looked more at your other stuff. It's not easy to compare. The emotion is good. Unfortunately, the sketchiness implies a little too much quickness on your part in some places. HOWEVER, I thoroughly enjoy the attention to other details, such as all the lines in the braid--makes it look more like hair. Unable to give rating due to lack of info on my part. Sorry. :bluesweat
I have no comment, Master Thacker.
Have faith, MistressRoxie! I'm not in it for the sex, either. In fact, I'm still *gasp!* a virgin, so HA on all you hormone crazed boys! *giggles kindly* I too welcome the gentlemanly type. I know several, in fact, that can be considered nice guys, but they are well off. One is so sure of himself that there's no room to dislike him (or sway his opinions). As long as nice doesn't equal some wimp without a backbone, then it's all good. There's only so much welcome matting one can take.

"Me? Acting?" Sephiroth looked uncharacteristically perturbed, to the point of nervous. "Sure, you'll be fine. Why, I've seen...seen...s...a HA HA HAAAAA!!!" Zidane had lost it halfway through his second sentence and was rolling on the ground with laughter. "Oh oh oh man, Seph's got the personality of a cardboard cutout, oh PLEASE say we can watch him!" "Excuse us a moment." Freya dragged the Captian away by his tail. Cecil, Sephiroth, and Auron exchanged glances. "Your cardboard cutout is probably better than mine," Auron chuckled kindly. "That sounded dirty," Zidane said as he returned, holding his tail with one hand and rubbing his backside with the other. "Freya, I'm making a run for the rollercoaster now! Better run before I beat you to it!" A flash of red and white zipped past Cecil and he gaped as Freya called back, "Say again? I can't hear you--I'm on my way to the rollercoaster!" "I'll see all of you after the Arena tournament," Auron said. "Good luck! I'm gonna go grab Woeby--that way I can win the Chocobo race for sure!" Sephiroth watched everyone leave, then quietly wandered to the Theater area. ~~~~~~ OoC: In order to finish the "Quarthlon" page, I need each team to let me know what they are doing, and soon please. :)

Indeed, he is quite good, though I'd probably plop that into my morbid catergory, instead of fantasy. But then, the idea of fantasy is subjective. OK, refresh my memory, who did the one of the cafe painting, where the cafe and the street were painted as if it were daylight, yet it was nighttime in the background (or was that vice versa)? Whoever he is, he's one of my fabs for sure!

*in a offkey voice* I want chicken, I want liver, Meow Mix, Meow Mix, please deliver! ~~~~~ MeYOW! In a new study of addictive substances, catnip turns out to be an unforseen catergory.

OoC: I sincerely hope my team reads my PMs before posting. ^_~

Dude, Giger looks sway! My art teacher says I'm leaning toward O'Keefe's style (large close ups of common objects with bright colors .Oo;.), though I also enjoy El Greco for his own use of colors--nothing wild, mind, just a lot more eye pleasing. If you like blood and gore and stuff, look up Bacon--ugh. I unfortunately stumbled onto one of his stuff in a library one day. >.

Actually...(hurt me for saying this and you'll be sorry! :D)...I prefer this one to some of your others. There's just something about the glowing effect, and...and...this is really hard to explain... >.< Part of it is that you are sticking with a monochromatic scheme that...*words fade out again*...this is hard to explain. Lemme just say this is one of your best, to me. EDIT Maybe the lack of white (and/or grey)? I dunno...I'm still doing some comparing, but that is the largest factor jumping out at me right now.

SPAZ, the sword looks pretty sweet! (I sense Dragonball influence.) Your idea for her outfit is pretty good, too, and I really like your shading. For some reason, I don't like her face in this first picture... 8/1o. ...but the second one, WOW! Very very prettiful! (Just watch her left eyeball.) This one captures her essence nicely. 9/1o.

I've heard about PS8, yups. Not much, but I've heard of it. *grumbles* Stupid Multimedia Department at College. It's supposed to show up at the end of the year. And that's the worst part about PS, Juu--not remembering to save before the final flatten. I do that all the time. V_V And end up kicking myself in the arse afterwards. EDIT Corrupting young minds everywhere.

People are allowed to disagree. It makes life more interesting. Don't be too defensive, friend. Besides, I kinda agree. And oh yes, welcome to OB.

*looks lost* Um, no pic, no point to thread. Bwarble. O_o;
