*dies of laughter and saves that pic* Oh, you are mean! Oh :rotflmao:!
-
Now that I think of it, yeah, they do remind me of "Doug", again with the eyeballs and the eyebrows (that is still the best part of ALL of them!). I spy, with my little eye, some guy that went to DisneyWorld. And a bunny! OOOOO, BUNNY! *calmly* I await the duck, Shy. :D

The first one caught me at a bad moment, and it's a bit too...eh, technical?...for me. Everything's rather all over the place, so it makes me think of organized chaos. 8/1o. I thoroughly enjoy the second one. The optical illusion thing you sorta have going in the second is also fun (just stare at the hexagons and scroll up and down the screen for a moment--you'll see what I mean). 9/1o. I take it you have some sort of 3D image maker? *is thwacked* Heh, duh.

"Whew, one less Avalancher to worry about!" Auron's sword point clanged dangerously close to Zidane's tail tip, and the monkey boy jumped back. "Hey, watch it, Aurie!" With a smooth motion, Auron hoisted his sword back over his shoulder. Freya joined Zidane, and the pair watched Auron stalk to the back of the Cargo Ship. Before Zidane could say anything else, Freya clapped a hand over his mouth. "Qunnt!" "You quit it. If you were any good at reading body language, Auron's is just screaming for you to back off and have a little sensitivity." "Auron? Sensitive?" Zidane jerked a thumb in the Crimson Warrior's direction. "I wasn't aware he had feelings." "Looks can be deceiving. I should know." Cecil listened to the trio for a minute, then quietly walked over to Auron. "Room for one more?" Auron blinked his good eye at the Paladin. "I can always offer to hold Zidane down while you beat him, heh." "Hmmpph..." Auron grunted in response. "Listen, if it makes you feel any better, I'm the only one left from my world, too." "Ah, but you didn't watch your team mates from your home world get kicked off." "You do care about them!" "No," the Crimson Warrior snorted in indignation, "I'm just dishonored by how quickly my 'people' were removed. That much more pressure for me to live up to." Cecil suppressed an urge to roll his eyes. "Auron, my man, you have feelings. Don't bother hiding them." Auron just hmph'ed again, ignoring Cecil until he walked away. The Crimson Warrior permitted himself a tiny yet sad smile for Rikku and Tidus, then walked back to the rest of the Tantulus team. "Who's up for the next challenge?" ~~~~~~~~~ OoC: This really really long post is just a really really long way of me saying... Bye Kayla! :bawl: It was fun having you! :cool:

I wouldn't worry about the characters too much. After all it's your story, and your personalities you are working with. :) And if you are quite seriously about turning this into a manga, get ahold of me again at the end of May.
-
*stares* That kid is pointing at me. :bawl: Heh. Bwarble. I just might incorporate that into my daily vernacular. Whee! I give it 8/1o cause that kid's still pointing at me...or someone to my very left. Oo;

Eggy? New game? Whooooooooo....*grins evilly* Anyways, time to eval. *blows Makar avie up* Shame, shame. BANNER, I meant. Gah! Heh, anyways, to be honest, I have nothing to complain about. This looks like something you could see in one of those gaming magazines. But um...why is the fourth item the only one with "Check" after it (besides lack of room, I mean). It's making me think that that is the only item he has, and looking at the image, I know that's not true. Sorry. My Multimedia teachers were real sticklers for the message one gets across with one's art, so it sorta spilled over. ^^ 9.8/1o. Pro looking. Be proud. :D

Out of curiosity, are you L-Targeting when you fight him? (This has nothing to do with the number of hits, I'm just wondering. :)) I need to know if that was part of the reason I kept getting whacked, or if it's just my impatient nature.
-
Uh oh, did I not answer it fully? Oops. O_o; ^^;

Art Golden Age of the Grotesque Wallpaper (redo....)
GinnyLyn replied to Semjaza's topic in Creative Works
(If you really want to know, it's because it makes people notice my ratings. And in your case, it worked. So :p) Truly, I am in stupified, gaping mouth awe. (And I like the glittery part.) To me, if something doesn't stand out right away, that means that the mind has accepted the image as true, and that means the image has been done properly for its audience. (Does that make sense?) Therefore, we are impressed. No matter how we express our impressment. (New word, hah.) It's a good kind of creepy. ;) -
*presses her hands into her ears, then covers her eyes* I did not just read that, I did not just read that, I did not just read that, I did not just read that...oh my frelling GOSH I better not have just read that. *shivers* Interactive fanfic? You mean like those "Choose Your Own Adventure" books from way back when?
-
Yes, Prima is evil. :mad: :flaming: I also did the thing Des talked about, though, sometimes, I got too carried away, kept whacking, and Orca tossed me pretty badly. So, at the most, do four hits, then block. And make sure you are L-targeting the whole time. It's a pain to keep pressing that button, but this way, his spear bounces off your shield (if I remember correctly), and again, no hurt.

Holy crap! *has finally read first post through* My gracious, Sem, if I had known...good golly...good gracious...good...*rambles on constantly* Are you saying you altered the original photo, or you did that based on the photo, or what? Whichever it is, I am...*whistles*...renewing my awe in your ability. DAAAAANG. Revised: 1o/1o. (Time for Ginny to start stepping up her own art again. Be proud, Sem, now you've gone and inspired me.) -
*steals the dancing banana* Several people have used it, including Sem. And I never get tired of watching it. :D Thanks for the SARS info. Do you save in PhotoShop? Or what program are you working in? I could help you a bit better if I knew.
-
You've been desktop'd. Go you, Sar. ^_^
Heh, thanks. Anyway, yeah...just the products of a bored mind and what would happen if I did this? It's much safer to contemplate that question in Photoshop than real life, heh...
Don't I know it. @_@ I'm going through the same thing with my last sketchbook assignment at the moment (that I'm supposed to be working on, and instead, am here, heh). Trying out the funky. I'll post some piccies later. Again, you've been desktop'd. Be proud.

Art Golden Age of the Grotesque Wallpaper (redo....)

The "mOBSCENE" is a give or take. Just the "Marilyn Manson" part for me--it seems to be, I dunno, floating. Hard to say what I'm trying to get across. -
*runs around screaming "eyeballs!"* That's the best part of all of them. Seriously. I love the oval eyes, the line eyebrows. Bwee hee! And the duck is my fav. Don't ask why. Draw me the duck, please?

I...I...eh....*points to Sara's post* Though I do not like Manson, this pic is TIGHT! (I never thought I'd live to see the day when I said that. :bluesweat) The colors are excellent, the layout is done well, and effects are shweet! (The text placement is probably the only thing bothering me, but eh.) 9.8/1o. Be proud, Sem. You helped me to like what I would otherwise avoid completely. -
The concept was well meant, I'm sure, but I, too, only like the logo. The color scheme's nifty. *actually has no idea what SARS means--just knows that she's heard about it a lot lately* The other thing that is bothering me is that you got plagued by the infamous JPG save--everything has that JPGy edge to it.
-
Hey, don't give up! As for you, Beelzebumon, I think a few of those Digi characters have been done to death, and that a few Ficcies could fill in spots and maybe generate interest. Just a suggestion. (a suggestion to plop my own in) :toothy:
-
*has fallen in love* Oh. My. Gosh!!! *scratches the green text off and keeps Lego, banner* :love: :luv: The collage effect in this banner is BRILLIANT and remarkably seamless. GO JUU! Go you! :D As for the first one, I guess my bright is on really high, because I can see some random black markings that probably shouldn't be showing up. :bluesweat And I see an edging on the far right piccie. In this banner, he looks more like a Leonardo DeCaprio wannabe. The concept is nifty, though! Darn you, Juu, now I've been corrupted into thinking Legolas is cyute! (And he is! *happy sigh*) 9.8/1o. *more happy sighing*

I would seriously love to turn this into a "manga" of some sort. I'd do the art, but someone else would have to do the writing, cause I'm not a great writer. Sounds good--but did you spoil anything too soon?
-
OoC: Don't forget to vote, Avalanche! I need to update the site and we need to keep this RPG moving. :) ~~~~~~~~ "The good thing..." Auron spoke up, "...is that, even though Avalanche has a faster airship, one person on our team can use this Chocobo to go anywhere." "Goldens can fly in our world," Freya spoke up. "That's a definite advantage...HEY! I wonder if I can go back to Chocobo Paradise and see the other Golden I had raised ages ago!" Sephiroth ran a hand through his hair, pushing his bangs back. Cecil chuckled at this.

*grins* I see an up and coming, if not an already here artist, mwe hee hee. I can tell you're fiddling with PhotoShop and making it work with you--good job! My only complaint is on the first guy--his feet are pointing abnormally down. Oo; Other than that, keep the chibis coming! Very interesting technique. 9/1o.

If it IS Master Quest, Des is in for such a thwapping! >_< ^_^ ...but wait, wouldn't that mean he'd have to count Lttp/Four Swords, too? *is confused*
