1.
Thunderstorms!
Thundercats! Wait, what?
2.
I have one night to memorize all the cards in a 52 card playing deck. Fffffffffffffffffffff.......:(
If you don't mind me trying to help... There are 52 cards in a deck, but you should really think of them as 13 x 4. Here, there are four (Club, Spade, Diamond, and Heart) of each of these: Aces 2s 3s 4s 5s 6s 7s 8s 9s 10s Jacks Queens Kings So there's every number including and between 2 - 10, plus the Royals (Jack, Queen, King) and finally the Ace. That's about it. (There's also usually a Joker or two in the deck, but that doesn't count towards the 52, so screw it.)
3. That's exactly what I was wanting/trying to say, Ace. lol Thanks for wording it better than I ever could have.
4. This topic is turning into a fansub debate, isn't it? Well, I have to agree with Indi on this. Fansubs certainly do have an effect on the industry, I'm sure, but at the same time they've helped it before. The other problem right now is that our economy sucks. From my own personal experience, I can say that I'm only willing to spend so much of my money on certain series. Fansubs or scanlations don't negatively affect this fact; if anything, they help a lot of the time. Case in point, Hot Gimmick; I read the manga online first, then went out and bought the whole series shortly thereafter. Another example is Kamisama Hajimemashita, another manga I've been reading that I hear has been licensed by Viz. Now that I've read it and know I like it, I'll be buying it once it comes out. Plus, in these cases there's always the draw of the official release having a (hopefully) better translation. So... yeah. There ya go. :V Hopefully my point came across well enough.
5.
Is that really all it takes?
Maybe. Except not really. I happened to already like that Lady Gaga song. Silly Ace. :p
6.
Rah rah rah ah ah? Roma roma ma?
Dammit, Gome, you're making me wanna go out and buy that song. :/
7. I tend to wear lots of collared shirts. I just think they make me look good; nice, sharp and clean. And with those shirts I'll wear either good ol' blue jeans or black slacks. But unfortunately, with the weather getting warmer, most of my collared shirts are becoming far too warm to use (they're mostly fall and winter material, you see).
8. Drink a bunch of water or try holding your breath for as long as you can. Otherwise, wait for 'em to go away? I dunno, I don't actually get hiccups that often, so I don't have many good remedies for 'em. Also, when I'm sick I try to drink lots of water. It's like flushing out all those yucky germs. I wouldn't call that much of a home remedy, but it's the best I got at the moment.
9. Man, this last week or so has been real good for my active manga. Dengeki Daisy updated, like, four times and it probably updated again since the last time I checked. Which is real awesome since the story is getting good. It somewhat feels like the author is thinking of ending it soon, I dunno... we'll see. Faster than a Kiss finally updated for chapter 26, which is awesome since that was a horrible cliffhanger last time. Then there was a short chapter from Vinland Saga (I felt so happy that they got a horse). Finally, Kamisama Hajimemashita chapter 17 came out and gosh do I love this manga. It's been licensed by Viz now, although I have no idea when they'll actually start releasing it but, I'll definitely be buying it.
10. Yes, there is. There's a Pal Park in Fuchsia City, if I remember correctly, and that'll let you bring over any Pokemon you have on a Gen III game. So as long as you have a DS that has a GBA slot, that is. EDIT: GAH, GOME! B(
11.
Right now, I just arrived on Shrine Isle, and am probably going to spend a bit levelgrinding, as I do remember this area being a pain.
You shouldn't have to do too much. As long as you make good use of your Magic (it really helps if you know Pyri by now, maybe even Increm) and S. Attacks, you'll be fine. :V Funnily enough, I too have been playing Skies of Arcadia: Legends! And it's totally not related to Gome getting it for her birthday. Nope, not at all. I forgot how much fun I have playing this game. I love the music, I love finding Discoveries (for the most part *cough* >_>) and gosh, even the simple battle system is real fun. For once I'm actually going out of my way to use some of the spells, S. Attacks, and items I never found useful before. Like, certain optional battles in the game become soooo much easier, it's amazing! But unfortunately, SoA:L is not portable. ._. So when I'm at school, I don't have much to do. I beat Ace Attorney Investigations a few weeks ago (very fun), and I just haven't been inclined to grind my Pokemon in Pokemon HeartGold to level 100 right now. :/
12. Those are some neat cameras, man. My dad used to have an older camera, but I have no idea where it is... and then I have this dinky Polaroid that I never really used much. Now I have a digital camera that I love to death, even if it doesn't take as high quality photos as a DSLR. I'd still love to try using a non-digital camera though. Also, Boo, I love pictures like that. I got a chance to take similar ones when I came back from Japan. Just too awesome~ x3
13. I think it'd be awesome if they broke the convention of always having the starters be a Grass, Fire, and Water type; although I do like me Grass types. But I highly doubt they'll do that.
14.
Training for Red sucks. I don't wanna fight the E4 any more.
What level are your Pokemon at? o3o Mine were about 71 when I fought and beat Red.
15. I'm amused that I had to spend the first of my birthday money on feminine hygiene products. Needs over wants, I suppose.
16. I finally bought a new CD! The Killers' Hot Fuss album. I actually had money for once, so I went for it. :V Turns out I've already heard a lot of the songs on the album, like "Mr. Brightside", and it's a good thing I like 'em. lol I'm looking to complete their Sam's Town album next. I'm hoping to branch out in my music a bit though, so I'ma comb through this thread sometime soon for ideas.
17. According to OB, I haven't posted in this before, so hey! 8D Here we go~ It's a tad hard to place a very specific genre(s) that I listen to, but a majority of the music on my iPod is from an anime or video game. So I guess you could say I'm into assorted Jpop/Jrock/scores? Or rather, not so much "scores" as classical/instrumental stuff. But I also like some alternative. Really, I just end up liking what I see/hear through TV, video games, and junk. So sometimes I come across some alternative, but in most cases it's a lot of Japanese music. ^^;
18. Lance can suck it. :/ Seriously, him and his stupid Dragonites, ugh... The way I beat him was with my Piloswine, although that proved quite difficult and I had to try a couple times before I got him. My Pokemon were all around... level 50-55? I can't remember exactly, but yeah. Ice or Dragon type moves would work best, methinks.
19. I've realized more and more lately that I'm the type to get into a few series (varying from anime, manga, video games, etc.) rather than be a jack-of-all-trades, so to speak. I don't know if that's normal or just me and my obsessive personality.
20. My cat is sensitive there too. Makes me wonder if they're all like that. :V
21.
22. When I have a cold? I usually use decongestants to try and bide the stuffiness of my nose and head. But, uhh... I can't think of much more than that specifically. Nyquil does not work for me at all; I stopped using it years ago.
23. I quite like The Blue Hearts. Bought as much of their music as I could off iTunes a few years ago, and I've loved 'em ever since. Whenever I'm feeling down, their songs really do it for me, you know? It's nice. Otherwise I don't know if I can say I have a lot of specific Japanese bands that I like. It's more like I have specific Japanese songs that I adore, like "Karma" by BUMP OF CHICKEN. I guess the other favorite I have is ALI PROJECT, although I haven't bought anything new from them in awhile...
24. I really want some nice iced black tea right now. Gashsplurnit.
25. Apples and cheese is quite tasty... as long as you have the right kind of cheese. I myself prefer having it with some Babybel. Otherwise, I'm a pretty big chip person. I try not to snack on them too often, but dang it if I can't help it. I have to agree with taperson on Pringles too, hot damn. Probably the best chip brand I've ever had are Kettle chips, though. They make some tasty stuff, like cheddar and sour cream and buffalo bleu chips. Mmm, I'm starting to crave 'em right now. Px
