1. I'll agree with you when you say that OB seems to have many intelligent posters and good topics. This is the best forum I've been to in awhile. The first forum I joined, though it also mostly had intelligent people, they were very nasty. Basically people were just looking to get into an argument at that place. The second forum I joined, I still like. Most people are nice on there, but there aren't many interesting topics. So I still visit, but don't post much. I could name numerous other forums, ones that were started by my friends from other forums, but they were no good. Not enough good moderation, so I ended up never going back.
2. Every once in awhile, I like to replay Super Mario World. Although I can't play the original SNES version, I have the remake for the GBA. Still just as good, I think. I have Lufia 2, but our SNES isn't working, so I can't play it anymore. I will sometimes replay Lufia: The Legend Returns for GBC. I don't know if that's considered classic or not, but whatever.
3. Out of the three listed, I'd say Spirited Away. I was in love with it for so long! I still like it to this day, just not as much as that first time. I also really like Castle in the Sky; such a beautiful score. But, my first Miyazaki film, even though I had no idea who he was at the time, was Kiki's Delivery Service, and to this day I still love the movie.
4. Yes, I know. Sorry 'bout that. Next time I request a banner, I'll make sure to be much more specific. Thanks to cancer for the banner. v^.^ Tis cool!
5. Although I don't have an image ready, I would be very grateful if someone could make a banner of Sora from .hack//SIGN. Just a somewhat sinister looking one, with my username in it. If I find a good image of Sora, I'll make sure to post the link, so as to help somewhat.
6.
Jimi Hendricks did a remix of the National Anthem- a guitar solo. Some people found in the most patriotic thing they had ever heard. Some were offended. I listened and found it fine. And I'm a Republican.
I remember hearing about that. They actually played that version in the State Fair a couple years back. (They play the national anthem every morning.) The sound quality sucked, but I didn't have a problem with it. Apparently though, one of my coworkers heard a lady comment on how horrible it was. I don't know if she meant Jimi Hendrix version or just the sound quality, but still. Such bull.
7. I was about to suggest Jubei-chan, but that has more comedy than action. Well, you might like Eureka 7. It's just started on [adult swim], so I haven't seen the whole series. But it's pretty cool so far.
=_= Hope all my 'religious ramble' didn't offend anyone. Heh.
Don't worry, I'm cool with it. You're completely right. I'm Christian as well, and like I said before, we can't really tell when the last day will come, just try to prepare for it. But yeah, anyway... 6/6/06 is stupid and everything...
9. By the way, I love your avatar Tatsubei Yagyu. v^.^ I think lately, one of my favorite personalities has been Fuu from Samurai Champloo. Although she's not perfect, and often nags Jin and Muugen, she's a good person, and not a sideline character when a fight comes. And now, here comes the fan in me. The best special power/ability I can think of right now is Tsukasa's Guardian from .hack//SIGN.
10. I wasn't sure who I even resembled a little bit physically while reading this thread, but then it hit me. Probably the best resemblance is Sheska (sp?) from Fullmetal Alchemist. Although, our personalities are entirely different. And as far as personality goes, I suppose I'm most like InuYasha when he's angry. Actually, out of all of the InuYasha personality quizzes I've taken, I've gotten good ol' dog boy 9/10. Plus, I do wish I could kill my older brother sometimes...

See, today hasn't been any more special for me than for the rest of you. All sorts of things get hyped up, and there are always these apocalypse theories. Besides, no one on this Earth can really tell what day is the last day. Sara: Heh, thanks for posting those verses. It's good to see other people know where 666 comes from as well. v^.^
12.
Miss Anonymous, that's quite an interesting job, and something I'd probably apply for it was actually available. I can't believe you guys have a state[/I'] fair. We have small fairs in a nearby city that comes once a year. Each year it seems the fair is getting smaller and smaller, or perhaps I'm just getting bigger. I think the fair is really shrinking. We might have a state fair in my state... but I'm not sure. Do you mind me asking what state do you reside?
I live in good ol' Washington State, with crazy drivers, rain, and everythin'. (And no, I didn't mind you're asking.) Actually, it's quite the stroke of luck that the town I live in hosts the State Fair. We're a pretty big suburb type place; a lot of traffic going through. Otherwise, not much to do. But man, once the State Fair does come, boy! People will spend thousands of dollars each year coming to this thing. I'll never get why.
13. I'll most likely be working at the State Fair at the end of summer. Haven't received official notice of my being hired yet, but they won't send those out for a few weeks. Plus, I applied at the beginning of April. The State Fair, from my experience, is a pretty good way to earn some cash. It'll differ from place to place, but it pays pretty well, considering you're only working for about two weeks.
14. First off, for all who may be looking for .hack games, you can find all four, brand new at GameQuest. That's where I got all four of my .hack games. And don't worry, the quality is fine and the site is trustworthy. Secondly, for most boss strategies, take a Wavemaster (and if you can't take one, use your next strongest character), have lots of healing items, and strong equipment. Also, a good strategy for Phase 6 is to have the Twin Blade weapon Two Together (Data Drain the monster Stare) and use the spell Lanceor. Making money is pretty simple, actually. You just have to beat most monsters and sell any extra equipment or items that you have (such as The Fool or The Death, if you don't use them). Beating monsters for items is also a good idea for leveling up. In most cases, I've found going to a dungeon 1-2 levels below my own works best. An easy way to decrease your Infection level is to go to a Forest dungeon (such as the one where you met Gardenia) of fairly close level to your own and beat all monsters there. Also, Fairy's Orbs are the best way to get through any dungeon quickly and effeciently. They don't cost much money. If you need any other info, I've found most of what I need from GameFaqs. They have complete monster lists and a complete Items list too, I believe.
15. The .hack//Best of Game soundtrack; twas entirely worth it, track 5 is so very pretty.
16. I would better consider it if I could get a sneak preview of some of the artwork from the stories, or just a summary.
17. I would like to know more about Fragment all around. Maybe I should go browse some sites. Anyway, I'm pretty excited about it. Even if it's not a full-blown MMORPG, it'll be pretty close. It'll keep .hack fans happy for a bit, anyway.
18. The two best purchases I've made (Miyazaki aside for now) have been the box-set of .hack//SIGN with the collector's pins and the box-set of Jubei-chan: The Ninja Girl. The .hack//SIGN box-set cost a lot of money, about $130 or more with tax, but if you really like the anime it's worth it. Jubei-chan was only $40, with 13 episodes. Not a lot of extras with Jubei, but the series itself is very good, so I recommend buying that. For a fan, .hack//SIGN would have some cool extras concerning the history behind the series. Of course, Bandai will soon release a much cheaper .hack//SIGN box-set (if they havne't already), so if your patient you could save a ton of money. And of course, any Hayao Miyazaki film is a great buy.
19. I always thought I was like Nakuru from Cardcaptor Sakura. She's hyper, I'm hyper, so we're exactly the same! And, annoyingly enough, I'm also like Inuyasha. I'm grumpy a lot of the time, I tend to pout and growl even, and 95% of the time, I've gotten him on personality quizzes. :animeangr Oy, tisn't fair I say! *pouts*
20. Favorite swordsman, huh? That's a tough choice for me. All the ones listed so far (that I recognize) are good, but as to my favorite... Would Maxim be considered a swordsman? He's from Lufia 2: Rise of the Sinistrals. He DOES wield a sword, so... I can't really think right now, I'll have to edit this later or something... but, for now, Maxim's my man.
21. I'm very grateful that I have siblings that all watch anime, and parents who don't mind that we watch it. All four of us (me, my brothers and sister) have been watching anime since Sailor Moon, and we all watch pretty much the same shows. I haven't encountered too many people who think anime is dumb (thank goodness), but I do know they're out there. Of course, people are entitled to their own opinions, so if they don't like anime, that's fine. But, it gets annoying when they totally flame anime and anyone who likes it. If you ever go the Adult Swim forums, you'll know what I mean. :animestun The best remedy I could think of for "Anime Flamers" is to make them watch anything by Hayao Miyazaki (Castle in the Sky, Spirited Away, Nausicaa of the Valley of Wind, etc).
22. I hate bees and hornets. A LOT! I suppose it is a phobia. I even got stung by a bee last year (twas the first time in my life that I had been stung by one too), but I'm still afraid of them. When I told my brother and sister about it, they just laughed and said, "Are you serious??" It doesn't make sense, really. I mean, the whole reason why I was scared of them was because I didn't want to get stung. But now... I dunno.
23. When an anime gets too angsty, that's it for me. If it doesn't have at least a bit of comedy, it'll be hard for me to enjoy it. A good mix for an anime would be angst and comedy, even if one appears more than the other. And as far as cuteness goes... yeah, too much is just... too much.
24. Hmmm... I suppose I'd want to meet Tasuki, from Fushigi Yuugi. Not only is he funny and a total bishounen, but he has those adorable li'l fangs! Oh yeah, and he's a pretty good fighter. XD
25.
While it's not my FAVORITE RPG, I really do have to agree with you here. I'm not quite sure what draws me back to the game... maybe it's the way you can play through each and every battle COMPLETELY different every time, since you have a large number of characters on the field at any given time, the Ancient Cave, or some kind of deep rooted love for the game that I'm not willing admit. Even though the dialouge is horribly cliche and corny at times, you can't tell me you didn't get a kick out of it when Gades says he has "Frue" power. Not enough people give Lufia: TLR enough credit. Yeah, it's no Lufia II (Another AMAZING game), but it has it's points.
That's a good way of summarizing it. Heh, just talking about it makes me wanna go and replay the game again. XD That was pretty funny. I can't believe they let so many misspellings slip by, but oh well. True, it may not be Lufia II, but it's still addicted at times.
