Though the view was centered on the shipyards that orbited the world in question. William, the current leader of the Resistance as well as one of the top leaders of the New Alliance was thinking about something besides their current mission. He had been reviewing a report from sector eight in regards to some of the meetings going on there. Meetings meant to get some of the more wealthy merchants to side with the New Alliance. It wasn't terribly troubling, but it did leave him in an awkward position. "[B]Sir?[/B]" The Sub-Commander prompted when William did not reply. William set his hand held computer down and looked up. "[B]Sorry about that, even if we are ready, I need to deal with this first. Hail our agent in sector eight.[/B]" "[B]Yes sir.[/B]" A moment later the main viewer came to life as one of the members from a meeting that had just ended answered. "[B]Sir! What can I do for you?[/B]" He stammered, openly surprised that William was contacting him directly, even if he couldn't see him since William was only sending the audio part of the transmission. "[B]How long ago did the meeting end and is anyone following the merchants who attended?[/B]" "[B]It ended about ten minutes ago sir. I have all three merchants being followed. Why?[/B]" The man was puzzled. "[B]I've been looking over the files and the snapshots that were taken before they entered the secured location. The one with the paid escort is an Imperial Agent. Bring him and the girl in immediately.[/B]" William ordered. "[B]What? Are you sure?[/B]" He flushed a bit. "[B]I mean we did a complete check on both of them and everything came back okay.[/B]" "[B]Of course it would, the High Council is every bit as good at forging records as we are. I actually have no proof beyond the fact that the woman escorting him is not a paid escort but the sister of the current Shipping Expert Darren Anderson.[/B]" "[B]I'll issue the order immediately sir.[/B]" He moved to do so and halted when William spoke again. "[B]Before you do that there's one thing I want absolutely clear here. The Agent is one thing, but Miss Anderson is not to be harmed.[/B]" "[B]But sir! What if...[/B]" "[B]You have your orders. If anything happens to her those responsible will be held accountable for their actions. Williams out.[/B]" Williams pulled up the view of the world they were about to strike at and then gave his Sub-Commander his full attention. "[B]I'm curious about one thing sir,[/B]" The Sub-Commander finally said, the confusion in his voice evident. "[B]And that is why are you concerned about Miss Anderson's safety? If she's helping the High Council, she is no longer a civilian, making her fair game as a military target.[/B]" "[B]I could argue otherwise, but frankly we don't have the time for that right now. Besides,[/B]" William continued softly. "[B]It's personal.[/B]" He looked back at the screen before them and the shipyards as they slowly orbited around the planet. "[B]Now forgetting about that for the moment, we need to get this strike taken care of before the military realizes that we are in this sector. Issue the codes in stages of ten second intervals in exactly one minute.[/B]" "[B]Understood sir, the codes are loaded and ready.[/B]" And then when the appointed time came, the codes were sent. William watched as the alarm went out among the shipyards in sector three. It wasn't possible to destroy them, but by obtaining the override codes to release the locking mechanisms for the corridors connecting each section together, it had resulted in the nine major areas drifting apart. It would take quite a bit of effort for them to get everything back online and reattached. And the outcry when they realized that the New Alliance had not only gotten the codes and used them would result in a lock down of the sector. Forcing the High Council to divert extra resources to that sector. "[B]Everything went as planned sir.[/B]" His Sub-Commander smiled. "[B]It'll take them weeks to sort that mess out. It's too bad we couldn't destroy the shipyards though. That would have caused a much greater stir.[/B]" "[B]True, now get us the hell out of here. We've got other things to take care of. Once you send our usual broadcast taking responsibility and reminding them that such disruptions will end once they have freed the enslaved races that is.[/B]" Williams leaned back in his chair with a wry grin and simply watched as his Sub-Commander first sent out the transmission taking credit for the accident at the shipyards and then put the [I]Astera [/I]into hyper drive. William would have liked to have done more, but it just wasn't possible with the heightened security since the sectors broke off. Still by now the High Council had to be aware of what was going on in sector thirteen, and the more time he could give Daniel to finish up there, the better. Getting the process for the perfect Crystals from the facility there was crucial to the war effort. Now, the only question remaining was what in the world was he going to do with Kerstin Anderson once she was picked up. That was a development he had not been expecting. And yet after what had happened with Daniel, he couldn't afford to let her return to Stevens and draw them portraits of those who were at that meeting. Not after they had gone to such lengths to keep their identities a secret. William resisted the urge to sigh as he went back to reviewing the information he had been sent in regards to the meetings in sector eight.[/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"][FONT="Lucida Sans Unicode"]Well with Thanksgiving being tomorrow I'm all set and ready for everything. ^_^ And now that everything I need to do is finished I did some looking online for the different comics and jokes that surround this holiday. I figured I'd share one since it's so true. XP It's almost like you don't get to relax for the holiday at all. Even my neighbors have been putting up Christmas lights on their houses and running them at night even though Thanksgiving has yet to occur. lol[/FONT][/COLOR]

Over all, I'm satisfied but I wish that like their first album with the Christmas sweet section, that more of their later albums had those songs done completely in the older format. If we're going to get into favorites... their first album is still my favorite out of all of them. But then over half of the album is the style I like the best. XP[/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"][FONT="Lucida Sans Unicode"]Well I finally broke down and bought this game. Final Fantasy X was such a disappointment that I wasn't interested in paying $50 only to be disappointed yet again. XP So now that it's on the favorites list and only $20 I picked it up a few days ago. So far I'm enjoying it. The visuals are beautiful and the graphics are nicely done as well. I like how you have full control over the camera aspect of the game, making it easy to look around. I love games that give you full control with the camera. The battle system took a little getting use to and was actually annoying until I unlocked the license for healing which made things much easier. I wasn't sure what to think of the license system at first but now that I'm getting use to it it's not so bad. I like how so far it looks like you can develop your characters however you wish. Now so far, the thing I like best is the dialogue and the voice acting. It's positively superb, one of the best I've heard in a game in a long time. I can't recall the last time that the lines weren't cheesy and the voices actually fit the characters. Especially Balthier, the voice actor doing his character has such a nice voice. Gideon Emery, if what I looked up is correct. He has such a nice wonderfully sexy voice. :catgirl: Anyway, unless it changes, right now I am definitely liking this game. I just hope it keeps living up to that since I'd hate for it to end up being disappointing. [/FONT][/COLOR]

[COLOR="RoyalBlue"][FONT="Lucida Sans Unicode"]I positively adore Mannheim Steamroller's Christmas music. I sort of gave up on modern Christmas music since other than some of the older stuff like the Messiah I just don't like most if not all of the stuff done by different rock groups. And even stuff done for movies like White Christmas and children's songs don't appeal anymore. But Mannheim Steamroller... When I first heard them back in I believe 1994 I became hooked on their music. :catgirl: I have all of their albums including their newest one they just put out. And though each album has a song or two I don't care for, there is plenty that I do. Some of the more authentic Christmas carols are great and some of the more modernized once with a bit of a rock slant are great too. I tend to make a mixed disk of their work and then listen to it once Thanksgiving is over until Christmas arrives. I always look forward to it since I really like their music a lot. [/FONT][/COLOR]

Most of what I really like is from the classical and romantic era. Though some of them are considered to be transition composers instead of being just in one era. Anyway, there?s a lot out there that I?ve heard and yet I couldn?t tell you who the composer is, but there are some that are well known that I really enjoy. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart - He has a meticulous precision to his music that when I?m in the mood for it I really enjoy listening to it. And though I never went anywhere with music once I got older, I was a part of an orchestra in High School so I have fond memories of playing some of his works, even if I wasn?t very good at it. Ludwig Van Beethoven - Moonlight Sonata is one of my favorite pieces by him. Felix Mendelssohn - I positively adore his violin concerto in e-minor, by far one of my favorites when it comes to this type of music. Frederic Chopin - I wouldn?t know where to begin with Chopin since he has so many works that I enjoy listening to. Richard Wagner - For the music to Der Ring Des Nibelungen. Which is surprising since normally I am not a fan of opera! lol Johannes Brahms - Another one of my favorites. I?d be hard pressed to pick any favorites by him since there are so many that I like. Currently the one I enjoy listening to the most is Piano Concerto No. 2 in B-flat Major. It?s hard to describe how much I like the piano part to this piece. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky - For The Nutcracker of course. Sergei Rachmaninoff - That one is a given, I adore his piano concertos and have had the good fortune to hear them performed live. I think I?ll stop here and come back later since there are more that I like and this tiny list is far from complete. That?s just some of the ones I can think of offhand at the moment. What kind of fool do you take me for?[/B]" She slammed her fist down on the table. "[B]Do you really want to antagonize the King of England? After we took the trouble to notify him of what happened via carrier pigeon and also made the arrangements to have the three members of his police service who were killed returned to their country?[/B]" Elisabeth sat down and leaned back, disgusted at the obvious attempt to curry favor with the more powerful families in Germany. "[B]Those who know Herr Ludwig Von-Wolfhausen should be grateful that I am not holding them accountable for his foolish actions. I am decided, he will not be given a burial to match his status. And if I find out that any of you have done otherwise you will be stripped of your status as well.[/B]" She looked at each of them directly, though only one or two would ever dream of crossing her and though some of them would have no trouble with her being a mere puppet, they would not risk losing their position either. "[B]Now is there anything else we need to address before we bring this meeting to a close?[/B]" "[B]Only the matter of your eventual marriage your Majesty.[/B]" Her closest adviser said. "[B]You have yet to send any offers to potential and eligible Kings.[/B]" Elisabeth just laughed out loud, and then upon seeing the confused looks of her advisers she just laughed even more. There is no need to discuss it since I know perfectly well that you've been sending information about me to other Kings without bothering to ask me first.[/B]" She smiled at the guilty look on their faces. "[B]Did you really think I was unaware of it?[/B]" Elisabeth just laughed even more. "[B]It matters not gentleman, that is something I will decide for myself. Feel free to send as many as you like. I'll turn them all down, even the King of England. I don't care how powerful or influential they are.[/B]" Elisabeth stood up. It was a toss up as to who was the most surprised. Jeanne or Patrick and Marta. "[B]There you are bitch![/B]" Patrick yelled even as he launched himself at her. "[B]I'll make you pay for trying to kill me![/B]" "[B]Patrick no![/B]" Marta tried to grab him to stop him but he was too quick, slamming into Jeanne and knocking her and Kenneth to the floor. "[B]Stop it![/B]" Jeanne called out as she desperately held onto the baby to keep him from being harmed. "[B]I was cursed! I couldn't help myself.[/B]" Having been cursed by Death herself, Marta was inclined to believe her and checking with the power of light within her, the answer came back that Jeanne was indeed telling the truth. "[B]That's enough Patrick![/B]" She cried as she grabbed his tunic from behind and pulled him off of Jeanne. "[B]She's telling the truth![/B]" "[B]I don't believe you![/B]" Patrick screamed as he thrashed madly in Marta's grip, slamming his head backwards into Marta's face, causing her to stumble backwards and let go. "[B]All of you are lying to me! You're all jealous of Cho and don't want her to come back! Well I refuse to listen to your lies![/B]" Before either Marta or Jeanne could react he grabbed Kenneth and took off. "[B]Patrick! Don't![/B]" Marta cried out, but it was too late. "[B]Oh hell! Not again![/B]" Marta was startled by a shot ringing out and then Patrick stumbling and falling to the ground. [B]"What the hell are you doing?[/B]" She yelled at Jeanne. "[B]You could have hurt Kenneth![/B]" Jeanne tucked the pistol back into her pocket and got up. "[B]No, I'm actually a fair shot, I only hit him in the leg.[/B]" She turned to Marta. "[B]You told him to stop didn't you? Well I stopped him.[/B]" Marta shook her head in disgust, "[B]That wasn't what I meant.[/B]" She growled as she headed over to Patrick and took Kenneth from him. And then after checking to make sure he was okay she set him aside while she took off the outer jacket shirt she was wearing and tore it into strips to bind Patrick's leg. "[B]You should have let me kill her.[/B]" Patrick sobbed. "[B]She's going to kill me. I just know it.[/B]" Marta just finished up with a sigh. "[B]We need to find the others and figure out what the hell is going on here.[/B]" She looked over at Jeanne who was tending to Kenneth. Jeanne just nodded in agreement.[/FONT][/COLOR]

I certainly don't expect my boyfriend to suddenly avoid his friends who are female, that just seems petty and silly. Also, when it comes to my friends who are guys, that's all that will happen. Maybe a hug or a kiss on the cheek like I mentioned. I dislike it when you're dating someone and people start getting to friendly with others. It's one thing if you agreed to it but if you didn't... then that's cheating in my opinion. Mind you I'm talking about more than just a casual date or two, I mean when you've moved into the stage of liking each other and you've been dating for a while. If you're married, it's a given, you don't go fooling around with someone else. Otherwise, what's the point in even getting married? I always understood that doing so was an indication that you intended to only have more intimate dealings with the person you married. Not others. [/FONT][/COLOR]
