It was in a sense oddly comforting as if she was somehow directing those shadows, slipping between moments of light and darkness. Further ahead, just coming into view was a set of massive door. As Risha approached them she raised her hands to open them, but they opened for her, the sound of stone grating on stone echoing loudly. Even more so than the clip of her heels striking the stone floors. On the other side of the doors was an enormous chamber with three pillars thrust up from the floor, a elaborate black leather bound book resting upon each one. It seemed that the stone slabs that made up the floor were also done in strange patterns of three, and the thought tugged at the back of her mind that only one misstep would be fatal. And yet without knowing why Risha could sense that which was illusion and that which was real. Stepping without hesitation on each stone with exact precision. Even when it seemed that lances of darkness approached her upon seeing one she could somehow think of another intercepting the next. [I]What is going on? [/I] [COLOR="Indigo"][I]Honestly! [/i]Without knowing why this time she picked up the book on the right pillar instead of the one in the middle that she had originally been reaching for. She opened it and read the first few pages, not realizing that she was speaking out loud what she read until voices interrupted her. “[B]Excellent.[/B]” A deep male voice spoke. “[B]Agreed.[/B]” A rich female voice also spoke at nearly the same time. Startled Risha looked up only to see two figures standing before her where the pillars had been, the other two books gone. A mysterious man wrapped in robes, his face concealed, his arms folded across his chest. And just beside him was a woman dressed in similar robes, her face also covered with long silver hair. [I]What the hell?[/I] Instinctively she took a few steps back, clutching the book to her chest. “[B]W…who are you?[/B]” She finally stammered. “[B]I am Victor.[/B]” The man responded. “[B]And I am Yuliya.[/B]” The woman spoke up, she paused meaningfully after a side glance at Victor, “[B]We are Adjutants. As well as unexpected.[/B]” Yuliya spoke up. “[B]Though other than in your dreams you will never see us together again, like you do now at the time of your choosing. Which one of us is summoned at any given time will depend upon you.[/B]” [I]Depend upon me? Summon? [/I]Risha was still trying to wrap her mind around what had just happened when she found her self lying in her own bed. Slowly she sat up, wondering what had just happened. Shaking her head in disbelief. “[B]What a bizarre dream.[/B]” She finally said to herself. That is until she looked over to the chest by the window and saw the book from her dream sitting there. I've never been a big tea drinker either. I've always preferred something like lemonade or juice. Though I do like to have a type of herbal raspberry tea from time to time. Not very often though or I get tired of it rather quickly. But the one thing I love is sugar free hot chocolate. Can't stand the regular stuff. But in the winter I usually have some of that every day. [/COLOR]

[COLOR="goldenrod"]I've always remembered my dreams. Even if later I don't recall what they were about. When I first wake up I always have one or two that I can clearly remember. And those dreams tend to vary from normal everyday settings to completely and totally wacky ones as well as nightmares. Though I've long since gotten past the point of having a dream bad enough that it kept me awake afterwards. It's more like a reaction of 'oh that was intense' and then I just curl up and go back to sleep. Anyway... I'm familiar with the Lucid Dreaming you mentioned Clurr and it's something that after reading the book Aaryanna mentioned I got into and learned how to do it. I've even got a journal somewhere full of Lucid Dreams that I've had since I use to write them down. I'm not sure why I quit doing that though. Those are always my favorite dreams since like Allamorph mentioned it's like being able to God-Mode and do anything you want. I positively love those dreams, I tend to experiment just to see what I can do. Since I know it's a dream so they are completely and totally fun. I don't have them anywhere as much as I'd like to. But putting those aside. My regular dreams can really be out of there, loaded with all sorts of weird stuff like you'd see or read in a fantasy or sci-fi show/novel. The everyday life type ones are what's rare for me. And even then they end up having totally whacked out stuff that doesn't happen in real life. But nothing is safe from getting into my dreams, characters from video games and anime as well as creatures from the movie Aliens. Even RPG's here at OB! I've been part of an RPG called the Panopticon and damn if I didn't have a dream about it. >_< From getting shot at, cut, burned, stabbed, to running like mad to escape traps. And in the end I got nailed by a trap that took my head off. I was in the dream wondering why it didn't hurt and then I woke up. I never wake up before getting hurt, it's always after when I'm wondering why it didn't hurt. Or if I fall in water I just start swimming and think nothing of the fact that I should be drowning. Which is kind of cool, I like dreams where I'm swimming underwater almost as much as I like Lucid Dreams. Anyway... Now I'm just wondering what my next wacky dream will be. Heh.[/COLOR]

[COLOR="goldenrod"]My list of childhood shows is so different. Even though there were cartoons I ended up watching Sci-Fi shows. Even if a few of them were just re-runs. First up was Star Trek: The Original Series with Captain Kirk, Spock and McCoy. I couldn?t get enough of it. I just loved the idea of being in space. Next was Battlestar Galactica: Not to be confused with that silly soap opera that was recently put out. But the original that came out in 1978. We watched every episode as it was aired as a family and I had the hugest crush on Starbuck, so when it was redone I was really annoyed that they turned him into a woman. One who just grates on my nerves. My other favorite show was Buck Rogers in the 25th Century, the one released in 1979 with Gil Gerard and Erin Gray. I can look back and laugh at how cheesy that show is, but at the time I loved it. Heh. I was also a complete and total Star Wars fan at that time as well. As for actual cartoons, I vaguely remember watching stuff like Scooby Do and Transformers. But to be honest, I was more into the Sci-Fi stuff and reading. Though once stuff like Darkwing Duck and TaleSpin was put out by Disney that changed. I love all of those shows. Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers, Gummy Bears, Duck Tales, they were all awesome. Even today I still pull out either my tapes or DVD and watch them. Oh and Pinky and the brain. Heh, I just loved that show. [/COLOR]
