[COLOR=RoyalBlue]William waited patiently as his ship slid into orbit around Earth?s moon, in a few minutes they would be in position for the transport door to be opened. Not that they needed to hide behind the moon since the very nature of their shields would render their ship invisible to the technology of Earth, but there would be a small window where for a few seconds they could be spotted manually. In the past that wouldn?t have mattered, but now, any agent of the Empire would be able to put two and two together and realize what was going on if reports of a space ship were to be reported on Earth. He sighed and got up to head to the transport room. He hadn?t bothered to tell either Jason or Celestia yet that he wouldn?t be coming with them. He had gotten a message earlier this morning that a number of his operatives in Sector twelve had been executed. A number of them had found some good potential members of that world to join the resistance and he needed to find out if they were still alive. He already sent a message to a merchant currently at that world to pick up any stragglers if they could do so without attracting attention to themselves. After all it wouldn?t do to expose them too. Once he dropped off both Jason and Celestia he had agreed to go and meet them, he just hoped that the investigation by the Crimson took long enough for him to get back in time to pick up the others along with Jason and Celestia. He had been against them coming along in the first place, but both of them had insisted. And unlike the Empire, William wasn?t about to force them to do things his way. Especially since they had agreed to wait as long as they did before coming back to Earth. William entered the transport room to find both Jason and Celestia waiting for him. ?[B]Open up the door at this location.[/B]? He said giving the operator the coordinates. He turned back to Jason and Celestia. ?[B]I can?t go with you, something else has come up. I?ll be gone for at least a week before I can get back to pick everyone up. I?ve delayed the Crimson so there should be plenty of time. Get your sister Jason and then lay low and wait for my signal when I return.[/B]? Celestia and Jason nodded, both of them knew better than to ask William for the details. He was kind to them, but never told them more than they needed to know. ?[B]I understand, we?ll see you when you get back.?[/B] Celestia said. She took a hold of Jason?s hand and together they walked through the door of light that would transport them down to the planet. The moment they were through the door closed and William pulled out his hand held device calling the bridge, ?[B]Set a course for Sector twelve immediately, maximum speed.[/B]? ?[B]At once Commander,[/B]? the helmsman replied. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]That?s a good question and I actually do have a chart for the sectors, I meant to put it up so thanks for bringing that up. ^_^ It?s not the best chart but I don?t really know how to draw one, but it does give a good indication of the current layout. [URL=http://img86.imageshack.us/img86/5154/mapsu7.jpg][U]Sector Chart[/U][/URL] Each dot represents either a world that is inhabited like Earth or a dead planet that has a space station built there. The first six are all inhabited by Versilan?s; with sector one being their home world. Seven through twelve are all planets that have been taken over by the Versilan?s. Each world at the time it was taken over was about the same level or less than Earth?s current technology. With sector twelve being the most recent as it was taken over within the last twenty years. The dots with no names are ones that the people are not technically inclined and have yet to be put on the list for conquest. Sector thirteen is of course where Earth is and the remaining sectors after that are in line to be taken over, except for sector fourteen, which use to be a base for the resistance until the military destroyed it. Though they will probably end up building a station there just to maintain order. The surrounding space on the edges is for all intents and purposes unexplored. For simplicity sake I?ve been going along the lines that travel takes about two weeks between sectors using hyperspace, but I?m not too worried if the times don?t match completely. I intend for the chart just to be a guide and not something that has to be matched perfectly since I want everyone to have fun instead of worrying too much over making all the details match. ^_~ [/COLOR]

Shaken by Janet?s collapse Joachim reached out and grabbed her shoulder. ?[B]Don?t give up![/B]? He cried as he tried to get her to stand back up. He stopped when a hand touched his shoulder as well. Without Feng Li?s wall of fire to hold the flames back they had literally jumped hundreds of feet in front of them leaving them surrounded by flames and within a matter of minutes they would be burned alive. He didn?t dare swing the sword full circle, the last thing he wanted to do was hurt Maya or Janet. Quickly he moved and repeated the swing in another direction. By the time he had addressed all sides of the approaching fire it was apparent that eventually they would overtake them. He couldn?t swing fast enough to keep up![I] I hope whatever Maya?s up to works![/I] He thought as he continued to fight to keep the flames back. Just when he thought he would give out from exhaustion he heard the sound of thunder. A cold wind began to blow followed quickly by a downpour of ice-cold rain. Janet stumbled a few steps before opening her eyes again when she heard Maya give out a little gasp of horror. Afraid to look and yet unable to help herself she looked back to see what had frightened Maya. [/sarcasm] The average consumer is a big part of this picture, which is why Sony is getting so much criticism over their newest console, they?ve essentially gone overboard and left a lot of the average consumers out of the loop with the prohibitive price of their new system. And the fact that it?s backwards compatible is only good for people who have never bought a playstation system. I have playstation2 so for me it doesn?t make one bit of difference, especially since the backwards bit looks terrible. I?m better off using the older system to play my games. In the end I don?t even know why you care that others think Sony?s newest generation console has issues. [COLOR=RoyalBlue]There are a couple of paths you can take to make getting to the boss in question easier. Besides leveling up that is and even that will only get you so far. Anyway?one would be to increase your ability to revive your characters so you aren?t dependant on recovery items. Both [spoiler]Sophia and Adray have a restoration spell that they acquire when they are leveling up. Sophia gets her?s when she hits level 22 and Adray gets his when he hits level 32. [/spoiler] If you haven?t used either one of them an easy way to [spoiler]level them up is to set their tactics to do nothing and then when in battle quickly take control of them and simply keep them out of the way while the others kill the monsters. It?s a good idea to equip them with stuff to revive them since monsters will target them if their levels are pretty low. [/spoiler] Now since both of them can use that spell regardless if they are in battle or not, now you can revive characters between battles. Another method would be to make more recovery items. You can make a [spoiler]resurrection mists through compounding. Which during battle will revive more than one player and restore 30% of both mp/hp. You can even refine them a few times to increase the recovery. You don?t need any special inventors either as Cliff and Maria can make them. The cost is around 210 so you just keep trying until you make the mist. [/spoiler] You can also spend a little time compounding and cooking to whip up other restorative items that would be helpful for the upcoming battles. Just try different prices for original creation. So long as you are saving regularly you can just continue to re-load when you don't make something useful and therefore get the most out of your money. Another way would be to increase the defense/attack of your fighting party through the item creation method. I?m rather fond of using the workshop in Peterny since it?s right next to the inn. That way I can save the game, attempt to create an item and if I was off I just reload the game to avoid burning through my money. If you haven?t been doing the item creation then just across the street from the Inn is the Guild where you can go sign up so you can create items. Now the item you want to create is [spoiler]the boots of Prowess. The cost is around 2800 fol and you have to have the inventor Chilico on your team in order to actually make them. If you don?t have Chilico she can be found in Suferio inside The Faerie Tear shop. Give her 82,000 fol and she agrees to work for you. Then once you?ve assigned her to the workshop in Peterny head back to the town and then be sure to expand the workshop?s facilities so you can actually do crafting there. [/spoiler] Now just keep trying different original creations around the price range I mentioned until you create the item. Once you?ve created it [spoiler] refine it twice and it will increase the 5% defense/attack to 30% Then turn around and use synthesis to attach it to one of your characters weapons. I like using the laser weapon for this, then everyone can use it if you need to switch party members for whatever reason. [/spoiler] At this point I?d make as many as you can afford, beefing up three weapons so each active player has the increased benefit. One other thing that?s pretty helpful, provided you don?t have them already, is the [spoiler]symbol of regeneration as it restores mp at a fixed rated to active characters in battle if they have one equipped. If you don?t have one, go to the Duggus Forest, the same area where the flower girl collapsed and you went to rescue her earlier in the game. In the forest there are some blue or green slime type creatures, I don?t remember what the color was. Anyway, run in and out fighting them as they randomly drop a symbol of regeneration. Do this until you have enough to equip each character with one. It will greatly aid the fight by restoring your mp during battle and thus reducing the risk of being nailed by a mp kill. [/spoiler] Anyway, hope that helps. ^_~ [B]EDIT:[/B] I forgot to mention one important aspect about the inventing. When you are trying to invent something you need to use your [spoiler]guild communicator to change the status of any inventors you have signed up with you. Put all of them on standby or else they will be using your money at the same time you are creating stuff. I made that mistake once and had to reload the game. You can take them off standby when you are finished creating stuff. [/spoiler][/COLOR]

I?ve divided the areas into sectors and that would put your member as being from the planet in sector twelve. Even the name would be sector twelve as once an area is taken over they are renamed to reflect their status within the Empire. Though Celestia is the smarter of the two, both of them use their skills as programmers to assist the resistance in their fight against the Versilan Empire. [B]Personality: [/B]Though smart, Celestia is terribly shy when it comes to dealing with members of the opposite sex. Deep inside she?s very kind and friendly, but due to her financial success with her company she tends to be more standoffish as so many people were only interested in her money. Jason is also a bit on the shy and reserved side; he?s hard working and always follows through with what he?s been asked to do. Since he and Celestia were captured by the Versilan?s and then later rescued by the resistance, he has become almost driven in his desire to not only help the resistance but to protect Celestia as well. [B]Short Bio: [/B] ?[B]You know, I?ve been thinking Celestia, it?s actually been closer to a year since we were taken from Earth.[/B]? Jason said. ?[B]How do you figure that?[/B]? She replied. ?[B]I was looking at how Versilan?s record time and I realized that their days and weeks are actually longer than ours are. They still have seven days, but the days when compared to our time scale are longer. It?s not a lot, but it?s more like their weeks are eight days instead of seven when you get down to it.[/B]? Jason explained. Celestia stopped what she was doing and pulled up another program to quickly calculate what Jason was talking about. ?[B]You?re right. I don?t know how I missed that. I was thinking we had only been gone from Earth for about nine months but that would put it between ten to eleven months. I guess with how everything has happened, it felt like years so I didn?t notice.[/B]? ?[B]I wonder how Sara is going to react when she realizes that we aren?t dead.[/B]? Jason said, it had been hard to wait so long to go and see her again. But with the huge bounties on both his and Celstia?s head, it was hard to move around freely. Celestia turned off the computer terminal in their quarters and walked over to Jason, she wrapped her arms around his back and looked up into his face, ?[B]Knowing her I think she?s going to be thrilled to see that you aren?t dead. She is your fraternal twin after all. And since she came out first I remember that she thought of you as her baby brother even though you both are the same age.[/B]? Jason chuckled, ?[B]True, so I guess the real surprise will be that you and I are together.[/B]? He wrapped his arms around her and leaned down to kiss her on the lips. Celestia responded in kind, her hands moving along his back pulling him closer. But before they could do more than that the chime indicating someone was at the door interrupted them. ?[B]Damn![/B]? Jason swore as he reluctantly let go of Celestia to answer the door. It was William. ?[B]Are you two ready?[/B]? He asked. ?[B]We?ll be at Earth in less than an hour.[/B]? [COLOR=RoyalBlue]I just gotta laugh at the idea of having faith in a company when all of them are out to make a profit not brighten your day somehow. I?ve always went with whatever system has the type of games I enjoy playing and has the best deals as well. And even then I go back and forth between some of them. I started with Nintendo SNES since they had a number of really great RPG games that I enjoyed. And though I enjoyed the 64, at that point the games I loved seemed to be going to Sony instead. So I later switched to the Playstation2. Then when The Wind Waker came out I finally broke down and got the Gamecube since before then they didn?t have enough games that interested me plus at the time they had a good offer where buying the console meant you got the game too so it was a more attractive package, and now that I?ve got Twilight Princess for it I feel more like I got my money?s worth out of that console. Xbox, Playstation3 and the Wii are all consoles I have no interest in for several reasons. In addition to cost, none of them have enough games that I want so I see no reason in forking out the money for them. So to turn around and purchase a Playstation 3 just because it has the extra features for movies, well that?s a huge waste for me since I have no interest in the HD DVD aspect or any of the other things they are claiming. I buy consoles for playing games not for watching stuff. I?m disappointed that they bundled it all together making it where I have no choice if I want to play their games. At this rate I?d buy a Wii or an Xbox first. Just so I don?t have to pay for features I don?t need or even want at this point. I?m not going to buy a Playstation3 with stuff I don?t need out of some misguided idea that I need to be loyal or have faith in Sony or any other company for that matter. [/COLOR]

Those look like they came straight off of nintendo's website. lol And since I have the gamecube version I can easily say that those may as well be tossed out as I've played it and there's a lot of improvements and details that have been added since those were originally posted. Nintendo obviously never bothered to update their site with what's actually in the game. Those are simple rough drafts and not the finished product. The actual game looks quite a bit better than those pictures you've posted. ^_~[/COLOR]

He hadn?t seen Kim for nearly ten years but she looked the same. With her short brown hair, oval shaped face and slender build she was just as pretty as he remembered. He had been surprised to get her message three weeks ago. William hadn?t dared to answer. When Celestia had been started on genetic enhancement High Command had already issued the order for her to be brought to the capital. The resistance had lost a lot of good members when Nathan had been found out and Daniel?s mother had been interrogated. By the time he had found out it had been to late to save everyone. William had carried out the plan to take over the elite force?s ship anyway. He had known the risks, but based on what Nathan had sent him the resistance couldn?t afford to allow Celestia to continue to work for High Command. Even if had meant killing her. William sighed. He just hoped he could convince Celestia to help the resistance. After all she had been through it wouldn?t surprise him if she wanted nothing to do with the resistance. Before Celestia could even attempt to go and see if the woman who had been brought in was okay the door opened once again and several armed Versilans entered the room. To her surprise they helped the unknown woman up off the floor and moved her to a sofa. Once all of them were sitting on the sofa the door opened once again and another man entered. He looked a lot like Jared with silver blonde hair, but his expression though stern was quite kind. Celestia started to speak but the unknown woman beat her to it by saying, ?[B]William! Your program with a few modifications went through the ships systems and literally erased everything in the ships computers. If the battle ship didn?t have independent system programs on a separate crystal as a back up they would not be able to fix the ship until another arrived with the necessary programming.[/B]? You already posses the necessary skills to serve as Celestia?s assistant, but with enhanced learning you could help even more. William turned to address Daniel, ?[B]As for you Daniel, truthfully we had not planned on rescuing you. But since you were already there in sickbay my men took it upon themselves to bring you along anyway. As a former Commander in the Versilan military your unique skills would be quite useful, you can?t return to High Command, but if you do not wish to be part of the resistance then we will provide you with new identity papers and drop you off at one of the outer most rim worlds. I can?t guarantee you will be safe, but that?s your decision to make.[/B]? William paused as the door opened and one of his men came in told him something and then left. Since we won?t arrive near a location that we can drop any of you off for several days I suggest you all think my offer over. And I agree with you Shinmaru the [spoiler]spinner is wicked fun to use. The boss fight in the fourth dungeon was over far too quick. I was really enjoying the spinner aspect of that fight. [/spoiler] I've run into a few other areas that you use it, but not nearly enough to satisfy my desire to play with it. ^_^ I also agree about the third boss fight. The sheer epic size of the whole fight was fun![/COLOR]

And like Aaryanna_Mom said, I was waiting for the other post as I was hoping to get clues on whom to kill to better my chances in the game. So to just now find out that one of the players quit, well it was a wtf moment for me. Oh and one other thing Sandy?s character was more to give other players a better chance since he couldn?t win the labyrinth, which is why he had no death cards. By having a character that was different it opened up the possibility of one of us getting to the end with two characters intact instead of just one, or leaving all of us with only one character. And the possibility of a twist where we all failed and his character was the person running the labyrinth from the inside. I was expecting a post along the lines of they were all unworthy to survive should that have happened. I don?t know if this was his intent or not, but it?s what I thought it might have been. Go back and re-read the thread and you?ll see that Sandy never killed off a single person. He just posted to help keep the story flowing. ^_~[/COLOR]
