1. Well without knowing what anime shows you like this is my attempt. If you don't care for it, knowing what shows you like would make it easier to make something better suited to your tastes. ^_^
 2. Well it's not a car, but if I could have anything I wanted then it would be a space shuttle, imagine going into space! That would be totally awesome! :animesmil Anyway, I don't really have a dream car. Not to be mean to cars but I drive a SemiTruck and the tractors have some really amazing stuff you can do, some of them are like mini-mobilehomes, only 10 times cooler! ^_^ Though I really like cars designed like the Toyota Matrix. It's got some really cool features, so unless something similar comes out that has better options, I will be getting a Toyota Matrix the next time I get a car. Though I admit that for me any car I get has to have a sun roof. I just love sunlight coming in, or being able to look up and see the stars at night.
 3.
I don't know were you two have been, but it sounds to me like you're talking abouts newbies, not n00bs. As defined before, n00bs are the sum of everything not to do in a forum, and how long they've been on doesn't affect it(though it is true that n00bs here get banned fast) where as newbies are new people, their skills at grammer and decency irrelevant. Don't confuse the two.
Perhaps a better way to put it would be to say some newbies are being mistaken for n00bs. ^_~ When in fact they are, as you say, simply newbies. ^_^ Even though it's says I'm a member, I've only been here three months. So in many ways I feel like I'm still a newbie. Perhaps that's why I didn't clarify what I was trying to say clearly enough. Since until OtakuBoards I had never heard the term n00bs. On other sites people like that have been reffered to as spammers. I believe I understand what you are getting at. As there is a huge difference between the two.
 4. Is there really a choice here? For people who want to be with the love of their life. Isn't that in itself a dream? For those who really want love in their life there is not much of a choice as that is part of what their dreams are. If you are totally sacrificing your dreams for love is it true love? I can't imagine being with someone who would expect me to give up my dreams, it would be as if they wanted me to leave part of my very soul behind to be with them. I think that is totally selfish. And I feel the same way for any guy I consider being with, if I am to marry him, to a certain extent what right do I have to expect him to give eveything up for me? I'm proably not explaining this very well, but, I think love and dreams are in many ways the same. If I am giving up love, it's becuase it wasn't true love in the frist place. To give up my dreams, would to be giving up on who I am, and that's something I can never do.
 5.
Now for the parts that I didn?t like about the movie.
First and foremost, I was rather disturbed at how quickly Anakin turned to the dark side after pledging his allegiance to Palpatine, which went from him just wanting to do what he can to save Padme to losing self-restraint completely. After watching the movie a second time, I noticed that the emperor had told him that he must fully immerse himself in the dark side in order to cheat death, but something still felt a little off about the whole thing.

About Anakin turning to the darkside, well
they hinted at it in the beginning of the movie when he is rescuing Palpatine, but they gave the impression that Palpatine had been using the force to manipulate Anakins mind for quite some time. So when he went to the dark side he had already been going that way for quite some time. I think the book clarifies this a little better. Also when Anakin found his mother he killed every one of the sandpeople there, and such violence is definately going to lead towards the darkside, in my opinion

At some points during the movie, I?ll agree with some of you and say that it did seem like they were trying too hard to tie things into the next one. Some of the things they did were pretty cool and helped a lot, like
Obi-wan taking Anakin?s lightsaber away from the battle, the General Tarkin cameo, and the way that Darth Vadar got his suit, to name a few. But.. as much as I?d like to believe that putting the Death Star in there was a good idea, I don?t think it would have taken quite that long to build, yeah. Especially with being a ?new battle station? in A New Hope. The Chewbacca appearance was rather ridiculous, as well, and I thought it was kind of convenient that the only Jedi who didn?t die were Obi-wan, Yoda, and Anakin, but perhaps that?s the reason that we see them all in the future movies; we see them because there was no one left, anyway.

As for one of the ending scenes where
Vader is watching the Death star being built. I do find it possible it could take so long to build. I mean we are talking about a station the size of a small moon! That's totally huge! As for it taking less time in The Return of the Jedi, just think about it and you'll know why. Technology improvements. So something that previously took so long now takes a lot less time to build. That's true with our technology, things take a lot less time to manufacture than they use to.
Although there were things about the movie I didn't care for, overall I enjoyed watching it. And I definately think it's much better than the first two.
 6.
Well, I do think that, while not all the n00bs are bad, a lot of them just don't look at how you're supposed to post. I mean, it's like I was the only one who actually read the stickies about how to post in the adventure square and in the inn. Oh, yeah, and then there's the introduction threads...*cold shiver*. Then again, we all went through those phases, when we were still learning the ropes of OB (conversely, I'm not entirely sure I understand them completely, even now...) I think that if someone starts off well enough, then they'll be a contributor to the site and they'll be accepted. If they keep spamming threads, making stupid, pointless comments and are generally just a pain in the ***, which doesn't tend to happen often, then those are the ones who generally end up getting banned.
I agree that not all n00bs are bad. Not to be mean to other sites, but until I came here other sites were not only full of spamming and other stuff, but a lot of them didn't even have any threads posted on how you are suspose to post. I was so surprised that there was even a thread on how to post that naturally I just had to read it as I had never seen any guideline on posting before. I'm betting that a lot of the n00bs, so to speak, don't even think to read the thread on posting. I mean if they visited sites I've been to, such a thing didn't even exist. I think the threads on how to post are awesome, espically the tip on how to post spoilers so you don't have to read it unless you want to. It lets you discuss stuff without ruining it for others. I never saw any spoiler tags at other sites either. I'm sure there will always be those who just won't even try to improve their posting, and I'm equally sure there will be many like me who wished they had found this place sooner. Untill I found OtakuBoards, I thought online forums were a joke. Now I know better. :animesmil
 7.
Hi, I know that really this isn't the place for getting emotional help and everything. I also know that the vast majority of people have never experianced this type of problem, but I figured I'd try anyway. As most of you know I'm married, well if my husband has his way and doesn't remove his head from his butt I won't be for too much longer. He wants to get a divoce because suddenly he wants his life back. He doesn't want to deal with me and except for weekends he doesn't want to deal with our daughter. Now I admit that I'm not an easy person to deal with all the time, I lied once about money but I appologized for that. and I'm a bit of a slob. But I'm changing that. I have a daughter to take care of and I'm trying to find a job and pay the bills. Basically I do everything he wants me to do, but it's not enough because after a 5 year relationship and nearly 3 years of marriage (most of which involved him being in Iraq.) he wants his life back. I still have everything I've had for the past year, but he wants his life back. Apparently abby and I aren't worth his time any more. I offered to try a six month trial separation to see how we do. I asked him to try and give me another chance. I said we could try concelling and a financial planner. All he told me is he's thought about it since he got back to Texas and the lawyer he spoke to will charge $850 for an uncontested divorce. Our whole relationship is only worth $850. That wouldn't even buy one of our vehicles or a year of diapers. But it's worth the end of our marriage. Oh, it's $1500 or more for a contested divorce. So I'm asking. Is he just being rash? Or am I just too afraid that I won't find someone else and unwilling to let go? I still think these reasons that he wants a divorce are rather pointless and solvable if he removes his head from his butt.
Personally I think he needs to get some counseling before making such a huge decision. If I am understanding you correctly it sounds like between being in Iraq and the responsibility of being a father, he is feeling very overwhelmed by all the responsibility that comes with it. And to be blunt it sounds like he may be freaking over the weight of being so responsible. I mean being married and having a kid to care for is a life long commitment. Now by Iraq I am assuming he was serving in the military, correct me if I'm wrong, but he may also have seen or experianced something unsettling while being there and that too could make him feel like he has lost control of his life. And wanting to divorce you is one of the few things he proably can control. Even if it's unrelated. Basically I think he is being to rash. I say this because my best friend who is married with two kids is going through something similar with her husband as well. Forchantely he is making the effort and going to counseling so I'm hoping things work out well for them. Without knowing more details, this is what I think. Yes he is being to rash, and no, you are not overreacting.
 8. Well that's certainly a different topic. I only disagree with you on one point and that is how to cook Potatos. Baking them in the oven until the outer skin is crispy is just so much better than frying them. Then they taste wonderful with either butter, chese or other various toppings. Frying just seems to leech the flavor from them. At least in my opinion. :animeswea Personally I think Beef is great to cook with. Espically in homemade Beef stew. Definately yummy.
 9.
When someone tells me about something that happened in their past, I'm like Hevn - I usually just say "I'm so sorry" instead of "You poor thing!" because I wouldn't say the latter to anyone. I don't mind being pitied if something really bad happened to me, like my family died or something. That type of pity could be classified as empathy or sympathy. If someone pitied me because I'm poorer than they are, I'd be pissed beoynd belief, because they're just doing it to be suck-up snot-nosed brats. I'm surprised no one mentioned the word "connotation" in this thread. Connotation is different from denotation (a dictionary definitition of a word) in that it has an attached meaning to it. Quickie lesson on Connotation: Euphoric, ecstatic, joyful, pleased, and glad are all synonyms of "happy," right? But all of them "mean" different things. When you're the most happy (maybe you went somewhere new, won a brand new convertible, or got your first kiss), you might be Euphoric. But say you have a 93 in English and you get back your essay that you wrote carefully & planned well, and the grade is a 94. You're rather pleased about the grade you got. In that situation, you would never say you're ecstatic (since you get A's on a consistent basis) or euphoric. See what I mean? Sympathy and empathy may be synonyms of "pity" but there is a negative connotation associated with "pity" while "empathy" is rather neutral and "sympathy" is a more positive connotation. I don't know why I'm explaining all this, but I guess it was just so no one would be confused about the words in the future. P.S.: By the way, connotation is why your English teacher tells you never to just use your MS word thesaurus when you need words - some of them can have the wrong connotation and they look really out of place in a sentence.
That explains it much better than I can. :animesmil But then I've never been really good with English so it never would have occured to me to put it that way. I know by reading or by how someone words their expression of sympathy, if they are being insulting or not. But I lack the English skills to explain it as clearly as you did. I may have gotten 100% on my reading comprehension exam at college, but I totally flunked the grammer part. :animesigh Awesome job with the explaination. :animesmil
 10.
Somthing I've always wondered... Did you know that the Electric car pre-dates the petrol one? 1835-39 was when the first car built to run on Electricity was built. Now this is where things get wierd. Why in the **** would a car like that be completely frgotten by the rest of the world? Just imagine if the Electric car had been the focus instead of the combustion enhine. Just imagine. We wouldn't be in this crisis, we wouldn't be suffocating to death on our own waste, we wouldn't be fighting wars over oil. Oh, and Wal-Mart is rather smart to do that... Although I still don't advocate the large one-stop-shop places, because they screw the little guy and force people to drive even further away from where they were because now the generalstore/independent grocer is out of business. Furthermore, it hurts the local econamy.
That's kind of sad actually. It certainly won't be the frist time a different technology didn't become recgonized or even made until later. I mean the basic computer was invented well over 50 years before any were actually built. So imagine how amazing they would be if the idea hadn't been ignored for over 50 years. I forget the exact year, but I remember learning about it in one of my computer classes. As for Wal-Mart, I do agree that they hurt the local economy. However a lot of the independent stores are very expensive to shop at. In my home town there is only one and they take advantage of that to really jack the prices up. When I am on the road I usually do end up shoping at Wal-Mart. But that's because most towns have restrictions on where you can park a SemiTruck, so I'm limited in where I can go. Not to mention most places just aren't set up to handle a vehicle that size. When I deliver to a place like Wal-Mart it's a lot less fuss to just get what I need before I get back on the road. Also, it's not an issue for me anymore, but I've had times in my life where if it wasn't for welfare I would have had nothing to eat. I know many families who use places like Wal-Mart or other big stores as it makes feeding their family more afordable. There are some who simply don't have the extra money to shop at an idependant store. But that too is sad as such companies contribute to the growing pollution problem in our world. I think that is another factor that contributes to the problem. So many people are only able to take care of themselves and lack the resources to be able to help solve the problem. I mean electric cars and hybrid cars cost more than regular ones do. In fact I only know one person who has a hybrid car. And I haven't seen very many on the road either.
 11. Here's another picture. Is this the right one?
 12. I remember the first one I read quite well as it has only been a year. I was watching part of Yu-Gi-Oh and I just couldn't believe it was that stupid. Parts of it just made no sense to me, and since I couldn't get an un-edited version to watch I decided to try reading the Manga books. So I got the first three and I absoutely loved it! So naturally that got me thinking about other anime I had watched and now I have lots of manga books from different series. :animesmil
 13. No I would not. I just can't see going to war and possibly killing others. Espically if I don't believe in the reason the war is being fought in the first place. However, there is one exception where I will fight for a cause I don't believe in. If the war in question meant people I know and love could die because I did nothing, then and only then would I take up arms to defend them.
 14.
Excuse my posting, if I don't make sense-- I'm trying to be coherent at an extremely inopportune time, but here goes: I'm not insulted at all by your opinion, but I am definitely one of those that resent pity, and I really don't think I need to be pitied. Perhaps that counts as being prideful, but when I've been through something horrific or terrible, the last thing I need is someone gushing " You poor thing" if I've chosen to share my experience with them. I guess, in my mind, if I share something like that, I'm not looking for pity, but understanding of the severity of the situation and the positives it took to survive/ overcome the negatives. "Poor baby" statements don't even begin to recognise courage or strength or anything positive about the person's experience, so I find them insulting. I mean, if someone truly is incapable of seeing anything beyond the scope of the negativity of the situation, why do they feel compelled to say anything other than "That's an incomprehensibly bad situation. I don't know what I would have done if that had been me..." or something along those lines--instead of "Oh, you poor dear" ? I guess I can't really explain right now what I mean when I say that pity and sympathy/empathy/sorrow are not all synonymous, and that pity is demeaning, whereas the others aren't.
Personally I think saying stuff like "You poor thing" or "Oh, you poor dear" are on the insulting side. But then I would never say anything like that to someone, not even a child. I'm sure there are a few who say it that way who truly don't mean to insult you. After all I think for some people it's hard to know how to respond to others problems, espically when the problem is very negative or terriable. It's too easy to fall back on the simple saying of "You poor thing!" instead of something along the lines of "I'm sorry, I really don't know what to say." Which by the way is exactly what I will say to someone, espically when I really don't know what to say. Quite often when I actually tell someone something terriable that happened in my life, I am not looking for pity, only someone to listen to what I have to say. Which to me sounds like what you were looking for when you told someone what had happened to you. I also know that quite often I will feel very proud that instead of becoming a victim and feeling sorry for myself, I got over the experiance and not only did I move on, but I became a stronger person in the process. Which to me also sounds like what you did. I definately find that type of attitude very admirable and I wish more people would try to be like that. I say that cause I've got family whose sole existance is to prove that not only have they suffered more than you, but that you couldn't possible understand. >_< An attitude that sickens me.
 15.
A big part of the pollution problem is the fact that so many people are unwilling to accept that 1) there is a problem and 2) there are things that can be done about it, many of them quite simple.
Sadly this is all too true. Before I read the article in the Smithsonian I had mentioned to some of the people I know that it seemed to me that visibility had decreased over the past 10 years. But they told me I was imagining things! So it really caught my attention to read about decreasing visibility in the Smithsonian as it proved that I wasn't just imagining that pollution was a problem.
The saddest part about that is that people won't. It really doesn't make any sense, but people have the "Oh it's alright, I'll be dead by the time the world gets like that anyway" mentallity. One of the reasons that I live out in the country, away from the city is because the only places it will become dangerous to breath is in the citites.
I know. It drives me up the wall that members of my family won't even try to recycle or conserve. Take my Dad for instance. He needs an air intake for the upper level of his home. Instead of paying to have one installed he just shuts the vents to the lower part and basically runs the central air all day long in a vain attempt to cool the upstairs. It's just sheer stupidity. He just can't grasp the concept that if he put the air intake in, the air would circulate properly and the money he would save in electric bills since he wouldn't have to run the central air all day, would eventually pay for the cost of putting in an air intake. In fact in the long run he would end up saving money and use less power!
Hey, tell ya what: never enter the dollar store again. Do not buy useless crap you will never use just because it's "so cute". These things are unnecessary, yet mass-produced, creating tons and tons of pollution. Don't shop at stores like Walmart and Costco, because they screw up our development patterns. They encourage the growth of suburbs, as oppose to smaller towns and cities. Relying on them for everything gives them control over how things are produced. Don't drive cars that use ridiculous amounts of fuel. Don't drive when you could walk/bike, period.
I am going to say one tiny thing in Wal-Mart's defense. I'm a truck driver and some of the driving I've done has included delivering frozen and fresh goods to Wal-Mart stores. When you haul those type of goods for Wal-Mart you have to use a refrigerated trailer that meets their standards. This results in a trailer that is several thousand pounds heavier than other refrigerated trailers. If you think about how many truck loads go to each store, that is alot of money spent in exta trips to deliver goods. Their reasoning is that with better refrigerated trailers, you have less problems with the food being spoiled when it arrives at the store. Which in the summer months can be a big problem with other refrigerated trailers. So not only do you have to throw the food away but you have to waste fuel on another trip to bring the goods to the store. So in the long run the better trailers result in less waste. Plus they also have thee different temperature zones, not all of them have this feature, so you don't have to waste trips brining frozen and fresh stuff seperately. I'm sure Wal-Mart could use other major improvements, but I found it amazing they were smart enough to figure out that in the long run, better built trailers resulted in less waste, less trips and even saved money at the same time.
 16. I think I'll add on to what you wrote SpiritWolf. SpiritWolf: Your user name says to me that you are spiritual in nature. Custom Title: The Last of a Dying Breed says you are unique in that there are few out there like you are and that there may be no more to be found. Avatar: Like you said, it can be either the beginning, a sunrise, or the end, a sunset. You like a fresh start to something, whether it's a project or just the begining of the day. You also like closure, whether it's the end of a beautiful day or finishing a game or project. You choose the sunrise/sunset to represent this as life to you whether it's begining or ending is beautiful. ^_~ Signature: This says to me that you are a truly romantic at heart. Your love when given doesn't require a response, you love someone or something unconditionally. Well there's my attempt. ^_^ Hope you liked it.
 17. My dream is to go to outer space someday. So I'm hoping technology improves enough to let me do this. I've always wanted to see Earth from all the way up there, ever since I saw Star Wars when I was a kid. :animesmil After that I've always wanted to see the gardens in Japan. Though that dream will be a reality in the next five years. :animesmil
 18. Well my epiphany was when I wanted to commit suicide and ended up in the hospital. I won't go into the details, but I went through quite a bit of abuse. Ironically my desire to end the pain resulted in my getting help. Once I left the hospital after treatment it was like I had been re-born. I learned that those who had been harming me had no right to even be a part of my life. It was like the difference between night and day. In some ways my life before that just doesn't even seem real to me as I am totally different. Not only will I have nothing to do with people who just want to take advantage of me but I've been able to accomplish many of my dreams, like getting a degree in college and having my own house. :animesmil "And if you are with people that make you unhappy because of the way they treat you...there is no point in staying with them in order to be "politically correct" because that just gives them more time to hurt you more." ChemAngel I totally agree with you on that statement.
 19.
I'm a Brit, so I didn't have any say, but I actually wanted Kerry to get into power (as much of a slimeball as he appears to be) purely because he said he'd sign the Kyoto Agreement. The USA is the biggest air polluter in the world, and yet is the only country holding back from signing the Agreement. Bush's reason? Apparently it would be an unacceptable loss of quality of life for US citizens, or some such bumph. Maybe this 'Hazy Days' report will bring him to his senses, but if he's still set on his Clear Skies proposal instead of the far more effective Clean Air Act, maybe that's too much to wish for.[/font']
I hadn't heard of the Kyoto agreement, but now that I looked it up it's been around since 1997. I guess I should follow politics a bit more. :animeswea I too wanted Kerry to win, but I won't go into that as it's not the main reason I posted this thread. :animesmil But it's too bad he won't sign it. Sounds like a good idea to me to do this: The Kyoto Treaty commits industrialised nations to reducing emissions of greenhouse gases, principally Carbon Dioxide, by around 5.2% below their 1990 levels over the next decade. I didn't know that the US was the biggest polluter. :animeangr
I agree. Industrialisim has led to the burning of petro-chemical fuels, mining, the timber industry, ect. It really disgusts me where I live, because the horizon is a fuzzy grey instead of blue. They go and destroy the exterior of the earth, then put it in the air and destroy the atmosphere. I think e should be worried about how we're going to breath in the next 100 years, and not just our vision. Does any one know about chloroflurocarbons? They're compounds that break up hte ozone layer. I believe in the '70's, it was in just about all kinds of cleaners, and that was what caused the hole in the ozone layer over Antartica. Not only are they green house gasses, which means life gets hotter, but now we have skin cancer to worry about. Beautiful prospects. I'm about ranted out now, so I'll just leave you in peace for now.
I hadn't thought about how dangerous it is to breathe in. :animestun Though I know where I live we have haze all the time, and we didn't use to when I was a kid. Everytime I leave the area and come back I am surprised by how the place actually stinks. I just hadn't thought about it for a while. And even if I drive up in the mountains way up above the valley, the haze is still there.
Well, as a Canuck, I can tell you one thing; The air here is a lot clearer than that. The only parts that are even hazy are within 100 KM from the US boarder. The Clean Air Act is probably alot better than the Clear Skies one, but the only problem is that no country on earth will just give up all their power plants. It's like we're hooked on crack, you don't just take it all away, you give us less and less until it's cool. the Kyoto Accord would really help things. Oh, and I think that China is the most pollution-producing country on earth. They have legal open Nuclear waste dumps, almost NO pollution laws, and don't show any sign of shaping up.
I didn't know that about China either. I know that the US is currently trying to turn Utah into a storage place for nuclear waste from around the coutry. We've been trying to fight it but keep getting turned down. The excuse is that Utah uses power too, but we don't use power from the plants that produce the nuclear waste so why should we have to store it? Anyway, I guess the haze is merely the tip of the iceberg so to speak. :animesigh
 20. I was reading an article ?Hazy Days in our National Parks? in the June 2005 edition of Smithsonian when I came across some startling information. ?Over the past century or so, man-made haze has cut average visibility in the eastern half of the country form 90 miles to between 15 and 25 miles. In the arid and naturally clearer western states, visibility has dropped from 140 miles to 35 to 90 miles.? Further along in the article it discussed possible causes and research found that the pollution in question came almost entirely from the United States alone. Only about 16 percent came from sources outside the US. It also discussed a little of the differences between the current Clean Air Act and the Clear Skies that the Bush administration is proposing. Since I find the decrease in air quality appalling, I looked further into the difference between the Clean Air Act and the Clear Skies proposal and the biggest difference I found was that the Clear Skies would allow companies to continue running power plants that pollute more by buying credits elsewhere. Where the Clean Air Act would require them to be fixed much sooner. So what do you all think? I personally think that plants that pollute more need to be fixed instead being allowed to continue, so I would prefer we stick with the current Clean Air Act. I mean if that much visibility has been lost in only 100 hundred years, I shudder to imagine how bad it will be in the next 100 years.
 21. Well for me it would depend upon the situation. For example, take the article in theOtaku about the blooger where both him and his sister were murdered. The dictionary describes Pity as: Sympathy and sorrow aroused by the misfortune or suffering of another. And truth be told that's exactly how I feel for the poor family. :animecry: So In that situation I would say that feeling pity for someone is definately okay. I've lost someone close to me before and I remember how much it helped in the long run that people cared about my family and although at first it didn't help as the pain was too new, later once the pain had faded a bit, I never forgot those kind people who cared enough to express their sympathy. On the other side, I've been pitied by friends because I use to have a really old car and their's were newer. At first it really bothered me, but then it became funny since I take care of my car and they neglected theirs so I was the only one with a reliable car. LOL :animesmil So I definately think it's okay to pity someone, and I also think there are times when the pity is missplaced. And I'm equally sure there are those who don't really feel true pity but rather are putting others down and hiding behind the thought that they are charatiable.
 22.
Actually, I'm of the belief that there's a difference between n00bs and newbies. Newbies are those young (and sometimes old), confused newcomers who might need a guide every once in a while, but eventually gain their barrings and fit in with the older members. n00bs R t3h sux0rz!!!11!1eleven I have nothing against newbs. It's the n00bs you have to look out for.
I've only been a member for just under three months and I don't feel that OtakuBoards is being n00bed *never heard that term before now* I've seen alot of what Manic Webb is taking about, newbies who are confused that with help become good active members. And the one's who refused to do so were quickly taken care of by the moderators here. *awesome job as usual* Though since I haven't been here very long maybe there was a problem before I started visiting this site. Still compared to most of the other forums I use to visit, there just isn't any comparision. OtakuBoards is light years ahead of most other places. I love coming here as there's always interesting discussions to either just read or participate in. I've never joined one of the RPG's but from what I have read a lot of them are really amazing! Though again I am comparing them to other sites I have been too. If we were to rate how much n00bing was going on here in OtakuBoards, well my verdict would be that compared to other sites it's definately the lowest n00b rate I've ever seen. ^_^ As for misspelling, well I for one could benefit from a spell-check option. I try really hard but I'm a terriable speller. ^_~
 23.
Seriously, 99.9% of people taught to be abstinent will not be abstinent.
While I don't know how accurate this percentage is, I agree with it. At least for the population here in Utah. Not only is there no sex education, but the main religion here preachs that abstinence is the only way to go, and other than to say don't have sex till you are married, no other revelant information is given. And I do mean nothing. The subject is so highly frowned upon that many people here refuse to discuss it. If you get pregnant, as some of my friends have, then you are shunned by nearly 90% of the people you know. The only reason I think having a program teaching abstinence in school would help is that at least the kids would get some information on why abstinence is a good thing instead of the usual. Don't have sex until you are married, with no further information, which to most teens is useless as it doesn't help them make informed choices.
 24. Is this improved enough? I did one to sharpen it a bit and another with the colors enhanced. ed1 ed2
 25. I have a new question about making wallpapers. I want to make one of the new Zelda game but because it's not released yet the only source of original pictures is the nintendo site or one of their magazines. By making a paper I mean to use the images they have and modify them to make a background, I'm reffering to some of the newest pictures they posted on their site. All the wallpapers I have made so far have been either artwork that came with the DVD of a series or of modified screenshots. I want to make one, but also want to know if you can post something like that or not. Thanks! SunfallE ^_^ Edit: Okay I did go ahead and make the wallpaper, but I didn't submit it as I'm not completely clear on if I can. Here's the wallpaper. Thanks in advance for your help on this. ^_^
