Right, thanks everyone *wanders off to inflict a considerable amount of pain on Evrae* * * * Piece of ****.. it manages to use Poison Breath, and then uses Stone Gaze on the last person alive (Auron). I'm very close to giving up.

Spoiler tags are there to use; I urge/advise/think you should do so..
Originally posted by GinnyLyn I can see an oppurtunity for some really good music in this cutscene, though.
It could be really good, or very very bad. I don't think the "HAHAHAHAHHAHAAAHAAAAHAAAHAAHAHAAHA" could have been changed any way to make it less embarassing. Especially when your mother is in the room when the scene comes on ¬_¬

Hmm.. I'd say the hammer over the katana for the sounds that it makes. Repeatedly beating a dead person with a hammer produces a really cool sound. ^^;; As for guns, I don't yet own Vice City, but on GTAIII I like the Handgun (for the sound ^^), and the Assault Rifle because it is the most powerful bullet-firing-thing (apart from Rocket Launcher); I loved the way it just ripped up cars and pedestrians..

Right, that's it *throws down controller* I really need some help on beating Evrae for the first time on top of the Airship. I have the most trouble when she casts Haste on herself, poison breath is also very annoying. I have around 35 Al Bhed Potions and I am in the proccess of getting the Bio spell for Lulu (I'm also going back to the start of the Sphere Grid to get Tidus' Haste -_-). Does anyone have any strategies they could give me to help defeat Evrae, I've tried keeping my distance, I've tried moving back when she tries to use poison breath and everything, but I just can't seem to beat it.
Originally posted by Tasis I'm honestly not sure.... I think it would do different ammounts to different people, because they're at different spots on the Sphere Grid, and then have different stats?? I dunno...
Hmm.. I guess you're right.. kinda.. although, Anima's Oblivion should take away about (yeah, I did say on average! ON AVERAGE!) 100 HP on each hit (and it does hit millions of squabillions of times :().

Answer: Isn't it that Doom and Vanish combination? Yeah, I'm pretty sure it is. Quesjun: [FFX] On average, how much damage does each character take on every hit of Anima's overdrive, Oblivion (this is according to the first time you fight
Seymour and he summons her
)? I hate Anima!

Well, I must say, I have enjoyed every single Ability system on the FF games (apart from FFVIII's). Materia, for me was the most fun way to go about getting new ablities, they weren't permanent and you could switch around a lot; I liked it. I only had a brief encounter with FFV's Job System, but I did enjoy it a lot, the different classes and all things they can learn really interests me for some reason. The Junction System on FFVIII was pretty easy to use, but just so bloody confusing, full of HP"%J%P%%H; you get what I mean. I really didn't like it, and it wasn't at all efficient. But, in my opinion, the Sphere Grid of FFX is totally the opposite, efficient, fun, easy to use.. the only problems I've had with it so far is missing one ability and having to go all the way back to the start and learn it. Highly annoying.

I guess you could call my liking of swords an obsession. I am attracted to more to the old Japanese swords, the katana, wakazashi, surburito, etc. Chinese broadswords and scmitars catch my eye too, but not in the same way as the expertly made folded-blade swords that the Japanese used to make. But, I hold extreme dislikes for the rapiers and other Revolution sword that were produced during the various French Revolutions and such. I hold the same dislike for old english double-edged swords and Claymores. I find them way too clumsy. I hate these modern things that people actually can call swords, the big knives the army use and anything that is modern about swords really. I have (as Bing has said) a 41" inch katana.. hardwood practice one. My mother and father won't let me have anything more than wooden, so I'll have to stick with that until I can twist their arms to let me get one. As for my skills, I could say I am good, twirling the daito (practice sword) in my hands well. I lack battle experience.. the world lacks old-age feuds too, I guess. In my eyes, swords and martial arts are just being so commercial and made just-for-show. I am currently reading "The Book of Five Rings" by Miyamoto Musashi, an excellent duelist of that time, he once never lost a duel - he started duelling at the age of 16, too. The book is really really interesting, teaching battle sciences, techniques to overcome the opponent easily and hide your strength by making yourself seem weak. I recommend this book highly to anyone with the same interests as me. I am good with not only swords, but staffs, spears and escrima sticks too. I would love to learn the dagger (or twin-dagger) as well, but I'm okay at that so I'll leave it for now. :)
Originally posted by Desbreko And if they do ever make an online Pokémon game, I hope that they keep track of everyone's win/loss record, and post the top 10, or 25, or however many, in every Pokémon Center. Then people really could see who the best trainer is.
Yeah, they could really improve the two player battles, by getting EXP and being able to use items and the like. Also, there should be options of where you want to battle, outside, in a gym, on a roof, forest, etc. And, just one small thing: both trainers should be visible in the battle, changing facial expressions as their Pokemon win or lose. And about the 3D game, a full 3D world with a 360 degrees camera and much more detailed surroundings would make the best Pokemon game ever. At the start you could have some character sets, and you get to choose one as your character for the game. You could also change the clothes your character wears at the start, too. :)

*sighs* www.rockstarnorth.com (without the question mark). Anyway, Sin City is the name for Las Vegas, so that is where GTA: Sin City will be based. As for GTA4, I just hope it hasn't got exactly the same graphics and character models as GTAIII/Vice City. I really hate those, and they better get rid of the glitches or Rockstar are going to lose supporters fast. I am starting to lose faith in these games, they're starting to end up like Sum 41. It all sounds the same. Rockstar and DMA really need to get off their butts and do something about the state of the GTA series. They can surely add some little things, I've drawn a few ideas together that they could add for more spice:

Have a "Character Select" at the start, where you could pick character with certain skills or who belongs to a specific gang.
A "Build-A-Gang" system, where you could recruit people with different skills to aid you in missions.
After each mission you could pick up points to spend on different areas of your characters (like driving, shooting, etc).
A much better property system, so that the property actually had some value in the game (such as recruiting more gang members, or the property may just give you some advantage over other gangs in some way).
With these in mind, let's hope that Rockstar and DMA work together to produce a game that will surpass all other GTA games with superb graphics and an excellent playablity level ^_^

Well I must say, I have a slight soft-spot for futuristic racing games (totally the opposite for regular racers). I'd say that this may prove to be more interesting than both F-Zero and Wipeout, mainly because of the focus being more on racing, as James said, so hopefully there will be lots of goodies to buy (if there's a "win race - get money" kinda system). Or, there could be just lots of things to unlock and the like. *giggles* You can go upside down.. ^^;;

Just like ZA, I'd like to see a 3D pokemon game on the GCN. Even one just like Red, Blue and Yellow, but in a 3D environment (Pokemon Stadium graphics would do me fine ^^) with maybe more sidequests, things to do or even a whole different storyline that isn't so linear. That'd rock. :)

Yah, the four disks killed it a bit. I am stuck on Fossil Roo now, haven't played in ages it's just.. kinda boring now. v_v;
Originally posted by Gelgoog Pilot hey btw why are the names vivi and cloud in that pic?
I think it's because you can change names on the remakes. I can't wait 'till Origins comes out, I have the FFVI remake, but not Anthologies. Must get my hands on that soon. But yeah, Origins is looking cool, I never have played either FFI or FFII, so it's something completely new to me (and some others I suspect).
Originally posted by GinnyLyn It's like playing the game
in under 12 hours
to get a special something or other for Steiner. What's the whole point? I mean, really, who's gonna try for that?
Not me. :rolleyes: In my opinion, FFIX wasn't such a great game. In some places, yeah, it was pretty cool. But to me, it's mostly just eye-candy.
Originally posted by Final Flash I hope there's as much freedom as there was in FFV's system.
Unfortunatly, I'm having my doubts on that, since I think the Job System will just be a small part in FFX-2, because most of the gameplay will be directed to the task at hand (treasure hunting was it?). But I could be wrong. *bounces around on chair* Need more screenshots!

Woo! Job System! I loved that from FFV, and now we get it in 3D, this is going to be so cool ^_^ Tell me, what Classes will be available in FFX-2, are there less or more than in FFV? *likes Rikku jester*
Originally posted by sage The villain characters I showed you earlier are the LeBlanc Clan, rivals to the treasure hunter tribe that Yuna & co are in (the main idea is that these two(?) tribes compete to find spheres around Spira, but I don't know anything else). The LeBlanc Clan is formed by LeBlanc herself (the woman with barely no clothes), and her guerillas Uno and Sono. Got this info from... somewhere, I don't remember, but anyways...
Sounds pretty interesting story. A treasure hunt; a FF first I think. It better live up to FFX *nods* I thought the machina in FFX looked really cool, so hopefully this game may be better than its predecessor. Only thing that worries me is the.. unclothiness, yeah, but for some it's paradise.

This poem is sort of a reflection of what I am like (lots of unfinished things are in my room V_V). I hope you like it. Artist Hundereds of words and letters Lay scrambled on screwed up paper Words evolved from his mind Often make next to no sense Papers are strewn all around Drawings on them unfinished Bare bones of pencilled lines Erased, smudged and shaded Idle; gathering dust upon his desk At a glance knows he should finish The drawings await some life But he leaves them waiting He wished he could remember The forgotten numbers of music When practiced in reality Mismatched and ill sounding he rests Slumber is over and then he awakes Words, pictures and tunes Are all left unfini..
