1. It's still about mid-afternoon here and I'm still wearing my towel, and I had my shower about 2 hours ago, lol. Anyway, I have no idea what I'm doing for New Year's Eve, since none of my friends are doing anything. I think my family might be going over to my aunt's house, but I'm not sure really. Edit: A happy New Year to everyone, too! ^__^
 2.
Originally posted by Cyke I prefer my copy for the Playstation 2. Playing fighting games on the GameCube is torture. The controller is simply not suited for those type of games.
The only other fighting game I've played on the GCN is SSB:M, and that's dandy, becuase it's not really a fighting game, as such. You're missing the point that I was trying to raise, what do you like about it? I just wanted to start a discussion about it because I'm excited about getting it *plays it*
 3. Well, I don't have obsessions over certain anime characters or people from videogames. Maybe a few from games, but only 'cause they're cool. Cloud from FFVII I think is very (his tasty sword and that shoulder armour he wears) funky, but I don't obsess over him. I do say that I have obsessions over objects, like my computer/the internet. I also love swords and other shiny/pointy things that look cool. I guess this obsession could go too far if I got one and accidently killed someone or sliced myself by accident. *shrugs*
 4. This GCN game is pretty new, but it was also released for the PS2 sometime last year (called Capcom Vs. SNK 2: Millionaire Fighting 2001). I played it in one videogame store and fell in love, unfortunately, when I came back a couple of months later, they had discontinued the game and it became almost impossible to find. And now, at last, I have bought it and I love it! I find the choice of characters, fluid anime-style animation and the way you get used to the style of fighting so quickly makes this game one in a million. You might say that it's just the same as the first Cap Vs. SNK on the DC, which is wrong because they have so many characters this time, and a new "Groove" system, which I find very funky (I'll leave you to get the game and find out the Grooves yourself ^_^). I recommend that a fan of Street Fighter or any SNK game should get this. My favorite character would have to be Nakoruru (I don't know which game she comes from though), simply because her moves seem to flow into one another. Her special moves are pretty easy to pull off too, and those (and her regular moves) are performed quickly, with a fair amount of damage inflicted on the opponent, too. Second favorite, probably Haohmaru (again, no clue on the game). Well, he has a sword for starters and I love swords, and he looks very cool in his samurai get-up. His entrance/ending movements are so tasty as well, especially the one where he chucks his sword up in the air and catches it in its scabbard. As for his fighting, I find him good against average strength characters, because of his huge amount of power and pretty strong specials, but against such foes as Bison and Ceese (Ceese, Geese, not sure), he is pretty useless, since his moves are quite slow. Does anyone else out there have the ultimate pleasure of having this great game?
 5. *shrugs* It's a videogame. Only stupid people should imitate acts of violence from games like GTA, etc. I don't see why parents should get so uptight about the whole violence=bad thing - that only works for young children ('cause they're bound to copy stuff), and it is also why GTA has an 18 rating, which is my point.
 6.
Originally posted by Sniglefager But most people already played FFVII. And plus, if they didn't, they should, cause that game is a friggin' classic! If it wern't for that game, Squaresoft wouldn't be as popular as it is now. And yes, making 3 FFVII sequals would be silly, but that's what I heard they were gonna do with FFX sequals, and (if you ask me) FFVII was a better game.
Yeah, if you do want to know more about FFX-2, go to that link in my last post. And, yes, FFVII (in my opinion) is a better game than FFX. I find FFX to be eye-candy, really. I'm just saying, as long as Square make a sequel/prequel, it better be bloody good to even come close to original FFVII standards.
 7. ..Right. I'm really sick of having to put spoiler tags on the posts in this thread, just because you're too lazy to do them or just "forgot". This is taking up some of my valuable time that I need to spend in other forums too. If one more person "forgets" the spoiler tag, I will ridicule them in front of everyone posting in this thread for not obeying this little message by me. Over and out.
 8. Hey guys, try and keep this on topic or I will have to close it.
 9.
Originally posted by Valen Haha I guess we should have mentioned to go to the beach and draw "Blizzard" from the fish things...
You don't have to do that. Just hammer him with Shiva, and let the other character draw some magic from Ifrit and then just summon Quezacotl lots. Don't bother with physical attacks unless you start running low on HP. :)
 10.
Originally posted by Sniglefager What about what they were origiannaly gonna do with FFX-2. Origiannaly, they were gonna have it 3 seperate games, one following Yuna, another Rikku, and I don't remember the third one. Couldn't they make it like that for FFVII-2? I mean, I must agree with Desbreko that it'll probably be a prequal. Couldn't they have one following Cloud's life, one following Barret's, and one following Sephiroth? I know that it sounds pretty far-fetched that they would make a game focusing on Sephiroth's life, but it would sell a whole lot. Or, even if they just made one game, with all of this on the same disk, it would work me thinks.
If you want any more information about FFX-2, or want to post about it in this forum, then go to the link below. Final Fantasy X-2 Making multiple sequels to FFVII would be pretty silly. One, it would cost a lot to make. Two, some people don't like all the characters on FFVII. Three, it would just be silly. :P One that focuses on Sephiroth's life would be interesting, but then, knowing all the facts about and information about his life would ruin the original plot off FFVII somewhat.
 11.
Originally posted by G/S/B Master Anyways is Gizamaluke a beast?I could really cause some havoc if he does. Do you recommand me to learn EVERY abilility that I can learn?
*nods* Yah. He's a big beastie thing that sits in some water and you fight him from a path. Learning every ability just for this boss would be a bit silly, if you're going to don't learn ones that edit your strength; instead, learn stuff that can affect the enemy's status. :)
 12.
Originally posted by Valen If I'm not mistaking, DoK did get it right and it is his turn to ask a question...
Yeah, it's DOK's turn. Go ahead and ask. ^_^
 13. Answer: I think you encounter Ultima WEAPON 4 times before you can fight it for real without it running away. Question: Another question with numbers in it. ^_^ What is the rocket in Rocket Town called? Hint: Something to do with Shinra.
 14.
Originally posted by Rancid Uh oh, I think that's it. What are you taking back to the shop? The PS2 or the game?
I think he means the game. V_V;
 15. Yeah, Freya was definately my favorite character too. Probably strongest too. I can't remember how I defeated Gizamaluke, I think I eventually cured Vivi of his Silence and just attacked with loadsa spells and stole with Zidane and busted him up with lots of physical goodness from Freya. ^_^
 16.
Originally posted by Tasis There is a weapon, speeding towards a town at an alarming rate trying to destroy it. If it was going 22 knots it wouldn't dent a piece of paper. It would have to be some where between 50-150.
Oooh.. I'll take that. ^_^ It's 50 knots. The PA system says it while Heidegger and Rufus are looking out of the window at the Weapon. But you still have to give me the name of the Weapon. ;)
 17. Ahh.. that really really sucks. V_V;; Firstly, do any of your other PS2 games not work or have errors when reading the disc? If so, then I'm sorry, but your PS2 is broken. Either the laser is scratched, or has some dust on it. Then again, if it's only Vice City, then it will be the game that is causing the problem. Try to get a new copy or take it in to be repaired or something.
 18.
Originally posted by GinnyLyn I think it's one bottle, and the cow mask (Romani's Mask, I think it is called? GEEZ, what IS it with me and names?!?).
Correct Ginny. Your turn to ask now. ^__^
 19. Woo! I got it! :) Hmm.. *thinks of a question* Question: [MM] What is the minimum bottles of Chateau Romani that you can arrive at Clock Town with after you go with Cremia on her milk wagon to protect all the milk from the Milk Theives? What do you get if you complete this task?
 20.
Originally posted by Desbreko *counts games off on fingers* Original Zelda, no; Zelda II, don't know; ZLTP, no; ZLA, no; ZOOT, no; ZMM, no; ZOOA-S, no... That leaves either Zelda II, or the Game & Watch Zelda game, if it's not any of the CD-i games. Is it either of those two?
Actually, MM does have another playable character, it's
Kafei. When you go to Sakon's hideout to get Kafei's wedding mask back by solving little puzzles with Kafei and fighting enemies with Link.
So which others? *thinks*
 21.
Originally posted by Zidane Question:(Anyway)In Final Fantasy VII, of this great game existed among many ohers, a specific side character named ... Johnny. When he leaves, what is the first place you see him on. (REMEMBER, after he has left!)
Um... Could you try and rephrase that question so that I can make more sense of it? o_O;;;;
 22. Since I had never played/owned SA or SA2, I found SA2: Battle very fun. I especially like the Sonic levels, the background music was pretty cool for them too. But, I found the Tails levels quite boring, too slow for my liking. And the Knuckles levels were.. just very very annoying, they took way too long. Overall it is a pretty fun game, which is made even funner (funner, lol) by the Chao raising. :)
 23.
Originally posted by Desbreko I dunno...I've never been able to kill it, even after unloading, like, 30 or more arrows into it. I thought it was just invincible.
Nope, it's kill-able. :) Just wait for it to swoop down into you and quickly use a Jump Attack. Do this a lot of times (or you can just use a regular sword swipe), and you get a massive, red rupee. *waits for Bremma*
 24.
Originally posted by Desbreko The only bird that I know of that steals things is the Takkuri that flies around the entrance to the Southern Swamp in Termina Field. I haven't found anything special to do with it, though.
If you kill it, don't you get one huge, red rupee? I've forgotten what it is now, though, 100 or 200 rupees. Anywho.. who's turn is it to ask a question now?
 25.
Originally posted by Alexus_Bing I agree with Zidane, the police need to act more intelligent. I think they should add in those long spiked rope things that police through across the road to puncture your tyres.
After time, playing on a game with police that smart and with lots of little devices to stop you, they would get overly annoying and getting caught every time you committed a crime would start to grate a little.
