Anime Samurai Pizza Cats and lack of existance
Lord Dante replied to ForgottenRaider's topic in Otaku Central
i remember that. funny show i used to watch when i was young. -
Blankets are one of mankind's greatest inventions, i have one, which is huge. i put a layer of chainmail in the center (not joking) to make it really heavy. which is great for winter.

ok, ok, time to share a great secret dish of mine. it's greasy, unhealthy and full of crap - but that's what we all like to eat, isn't it? grate a lot of cheese, and cook some sausages. get a pie dish, and place some lasagne sheets on the bottom. then put some cheese and sausage pieces down, cover with lasagne strips and repeat untill dish is full. cover top with motzerella and jam it in the oven.
Naru's taken blasts from Su's weapons and Motoko's sword. I'm pretty sure that she can take a few paper cuts. She'd knock Anita almost into orbit, and I doubt that she'd survive the fall. (seeing as how she's not immortal like Keitaro)
true. Naru has also survived countless assaults by mecha-tama, and the clumsiness of mutsumi otohime!
originaly posted by chibihorsewomanThe one episode of DBZ I watched was really funny. It was the one where Piccolo was learning to drive. I saw it way back in 2000 and all I could think about for days after wards was, my driving instructor should be glad I don't drive like he does.
I've seen that one. piccollo was driving at snailpace at first, but then songoku (driving crazily) thunders past. he turns round (while driving) and waves at piccollo saying "woo-hoo! eat my dust grandma piccollo!!" that had me in tears of laughter for about 5 minutes. One other thing. in episode 26 of excel saga, near the end of the love hotel scene, nabeshin bursts in, holding a pack of TNT, and screams "explosions fix everything!!!" i laughed.

Classical music rocks. especially the planets suite. you can really hear the influences behind it.

ok, nonsensical.... Last time I was in an industrial kitchen, (reserch paper reserch) i saw signs above every frier/cooker/grill, saying "DANGER! hot!!" ya wouldn't'a guessed it!
Smoked Salmon you say?! Now I'm hungry! That's the ultimate snack food! And amazingly, you're right, it's good with ketchup. Then again, that could just be the inner ketchup lover in me speaking.
i never mentioned smoked salmon!!! smoked slmon is ok, but i really think steaming it is better.

i'd like to be known for skill in swordsmanship, not widely known. yeah, i know it's corny, but so what?
Hah, don't even try to make sense of what the Catholic church says or does, lol. ~_^
you have no idea how long i've been waiting for someone to say that...... He speaks the truth!!

hmmmm. probably a mitsubishi lancer evolution 8th series (appears on an episode of ecxel saga), apart from that, it is a good car. However, i saw on bbc look east last year that someone bought an old challenger 2 tank which had been decomissioned from the army, fixed it up, and now uses THAT as a car - no one'd dare cut a car like that off ever again.

Salmon. the king of fish. it can be cooked many ways, but personally, i don't think that anything can beat the simple elegance of simply steaming it. it (serve it with ketchup - sounds discusting, but really does work) salmon is almost as versatile as potato.

Gaming Series jokes (from Tingle to Biggs and Wedge)
Lord Dante replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Noosphere
Biggs and wedge are also in ffx and x-2. in X, you can sign them as blitzball players (they can be found guarding luka stadium) in ffx-2, if you choose to do the blitzball hotspot event, they start out in your team. I'm not sure if this counts as a series joke or not, but has anyone else noticed how the ff7 shinra army uniforms and the ff8 galbadia army uniforms look almost exactly the same? -
@Lord Dante: I had forgotten about that quote of Shang Tsung's-- your post made my day.
No problem elfpirate, it was meant as a comedic quote.

On the potato issue i will have to say that potatoes can be cooked in any conceivable way, shape or form and still taste great - potatoes have ultimate versitility (they eaven taste great dipped in chocolate). garlic is great. it tastes great, it smells great and it goes with everything. garlic is even better when you can handle 10 cloves in a dish. One thing i have learnt while cooking is that lemon juice is NOT your friend. it can be, but you don't wanna put a whole lemon in. (i did once)

Futurama is awesome. It has some completely outrgeous characters that you can't help but liek (the stabbin' robot for example "i gotta get this sofware upgrade, otherwise they won't give me back my stabbin' knife! i hate those 1-X robots! i like to stab 'em - like this ha haaa, ha haaaaa!!" - a classic) and some amazing dialogue (example: "do i come and preach to you when you're lying stoned in the gutter? no!), and hilarious episode ideas (example "anthology of interest #2") in short, futurama rules.
Run into every mob of guards blocking the path, then go back to the fork in the road. Take the left fork, and Paine will say something, and you'll be taking the trees.[/SIZE']
i just ran around pressing square.... but i think you have to beat the guards, THEN press square, or something obscure like that.

personally, i find true sephiorth (ff7) to be my favorite final boss in an RPG. sure He's as easy as **** to beat
Due to the fact that you start with a full limit bar, and get omnislash regardless of wether you had it or not.
I just find it amusing to finally beat the crap out of someone who has constantly harried you throuout your whole journey,
dropping parts of jenova on you
. plus it's good to see
the power of sephiroth's manifest will diminished to such an extent that he can only make himself appear to cloud, in none other than his "true" form, no flashy ****, no "one winged angels", just a normal makou-infused supra-human guy with a big sword
That was a truly great moment for RPG's....

definately, i must cast my vote for naru narusegawa. i've just seen eps 1 - the end of dvd 4, and i must say, naru rocks (for want of a better word). while she does have one hell of a punch, she is a nice character (as bloodseeker said), and i can't help but laugh at the way she goes ballistic at kietaro.

i think that a line from one of the less sucky live-action video game based films must be quoted here. "shang tsung: save your pity for the weak!" sorry, i just couldn't resist!! XD, seriously though i reckon that pity can be both sympathy and derogetory at the same time, i just cant explain why at the moment (serious lack of caffene) pity, in my opinion, is one of the most paradoxical things in existance.

Anime favorite and least favorite anime songs
Lord Dante replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
one anime song that i do like is sakura-saku (i think this is the song name) from love hina. the drum break at the beginning is truly masterful.
