Asuka was one of those characters that I started off hating. Seriously, my first time through NGE, she was the only character that I wanted to stangle more than Shinji. (there's an ironic statement for you) Well, her and Kawaru. However, every time I watched, I found that I liked her character more and more. Now she's just slightly above Misato as my favorite NGE character. Like I said in R1, Kaola's the only character in this tournament that I would send to the hospital in an ambulance if she were real and I saw her walking down the street. And now that she's beaten two of my favorites here, I like her even less. She just annoys me! I hate those genius kids that are hyperactive act random! She's not bad as an adult, when she's actually calm and not-random, but if the anime's anything like the manga, that'll only account for about 5 minuntes out of the whole series, if that. Oh, and Kaola's a kid. Asuka looks better by default! (Pedos)

Venus is probably the most spirited of senshi. She's one of those really cool characters that are goofy and childish during their leisure time (Minako and Usagi almost seem like identical twins at times here), but really calm and capable when it comes time to fight. BTW, for those of you that wondered why I called Venus the original magical girl... Sailor Moon is actually a sequel to a manga called "Codename: Sailor V". That series was cut short when Sailor Moon gained popularity. From what I've heard of it, it seems like it was pretty much identical to the first few episodes of Sailor Moon, with an Ami look alike and a nerdy kid following her around. I can see why it didn't do too well... if they're anything like Usagi's stupid *** friends, and if this Ace guy is anything like Tuxedo Mask, and if there's not 3-4 other cool characters around to make up for them, I'd probably lose interest too. There's really not a whole lot to say about Nabiki that I haven't said before. She's a schemer that'll make cash in anyway that she can. There's one episode where she takes pictures of girl Ranma and Akane and sells them to Kendo for $20 each... $5 to look at it, $15 to take it home! But I guess that when you're stupid enough to pay $5 to look at a photo, you deserve to be exploited. She's also right there taking bets whenever there's a fight going on... Like I said earlier, Nabiki's cute, but Minako's cuter.

You don't like the NGE dub, Dagger? Asuka's screaming can be a bit annoying, but asside from that, its one of the best dubs that I've heard. Damn, I'm psyched about this show coming to AS. I can't wait to see how people react to it... I wonder if Asuka, Misato, and Rei fanboyism will spread even further around the net?

As for gameplay, its pretty good at first, but it starts to get repetitive after a while. (for me, I got a little tired of it about half way through OUTBREAK) Each game is just basically the last one, but harder. Enter field, clear field, enter dungeon, clear out dungeon, grab special item with statue thingie behind it, sometimes defeat boss, return to town, repeat.

always played as Xaihou Dun in DW3. I played as several other characters for a while, but none of them matched up Xaihou Dun, except for Lu Bu, but I never really had any fun playing as that character. My friend played as Guan Yu... he used to get pissed when he couldn't keep up. With DW4, it was a toss up between Xaihou Dun and Zhou Tai. Both of them are badass. In DW5, its either Zhou Yu or Guan Ping so far. For some reason, I don't like Xaihou Dun as much in this game. I wished that Cao Pi was a better character... I like his attitude and his weapon is pretty cool too. Damn, they turned Lu Xun into a bottom-class loser in this game!

I like Soultaker, Boogiepop Phantom, Gungrave (those last three are some of my favorite anime series ever), and Crest/Banner of the Stars, and I liked Silent Mobius the first time through. The rest of them I either missed (Magical Shopping Arcade Abenobashi) or they bored me. They actually made a spin off of Soultaker called Nurse Witch Komugi Chan. They took most of the Soultaker cast and put them in a bright and happy environment.... It wasn't bad, but it wasn't great. The only really bad thing about it was that they turned Kyosuke into a pop-idol singer. Way to ruin an awesome character, guys!

I think that he should kill them both and hook up with Sango or some random female demon.

Apparently, its what the people started calling them... and it pisses them off when they get called that! I want to check that series out too, but it looks like Netflix doesn't have any copies of it.

This might seem like the idiot nation at times, and in some ways it is, but the government has underestimated its people too much... people here do have memory that spans over 3 years. Your dad's not an idiot for joining the military. In most cases, they take care of their own. Military people get all sorts of benefits, like cheap or free medical and dental care, and military discounts at various stores. Then there's financial help with college, and experience that can be applied in the civilian world after they leave the military.

From one of the comments during R1, Ceres seems like one of those "almost badass" anime chicks. She's cool and capable enough, but she relies just enough on the main character and is just emotional enough that she isn't quiet cool enough to be called badass. (I just used the word "enough" three times in that last sentence) Am I right? Kei's sounds like an energetic tomboy character, and like I said last time, those characters are usually pretty fun. And unlike Ceres, she looks like she might just go the whole nine yards... I'm sure that you already know by my earlier comment who I think looks better.

It would really hurt to get hit by that right... In case you couldn't figure it out, Lucy and Nyu are two different personalities that live in the same body. Lucy's hardcore. The first 5 minutes of EL is a bloodfest of Lucy tearing people apart. I get the feeling that we don't know a lot about Lucy's character at this point (episode 4), but it seems like she's going to develope into a misunderstood sentimental character that retains her badass streak. And Nyu's just cute. I wouldn't mind having a pet like that. I don't really have anything bad to say about either personality. Did I mention that I really hate that green jester hat that Yuka gives her? How could anyone keep that in their wardrobe? That's thing's terrible, even for clowns. Looks... Don't know if you care, but I like wolves best. Their social structures, the way that those social structures are enforeced, their hunting strategies, not to mention that they're just cool to look at. But big cats are pretty cool too.

Cats are cool. I have two of them, a really big and strong black and white cat (Spike) and a small tortie shell (Dutchess) (think calico, except with black instead of white) Spike used to be a really intense cat. I've got several scars on my forearms from when he was a little kitten. My cousin retarded (literally) Ryan used to shove him into the freezer, and my other cousin used to dress him up. I also used to throw him whenever he looked like he was about to attack, so I'm not completely innocent. (Hey, it was funny watching him do a five-star frogsplash everytime that I threw him off me) I'd be a little edgy too if I were him. But he's mellowed out since then, and you can pet him now without having to worry about having a gash on your arm at the end of it. Also, I wasn't kidding when I said that he's strong. Even his tail puts up resistance when you try to push it down. I've never seen him loose a fight either. Dutchess is second stupidest cat that I've ever seen. (the first was so stupid that she plopped down on top of her kittens to feed them) You'll hear her at the door meowing to get in, and when you open it, she'll just look up and continue meowing. She's meowed so much to the point where she's lost her voice. Damn, that's annoying.

I was born on 4/20. What a day to be born on, huh? Stoner's Day AND Hiter's birthday. Better, than April 1st, I guess. (That's my little brother's birthday... he's an April fool!) Birthday stories... I don't really have any interesting ones. Though it made me think of someone that I really hate that's been present at all but two of my birthdays. My stupid whiny excited-and-happy-to-be-in-an-ambulence-and-still-fantisizing-about-keeling-over Grandma. Seriously, every time that I see her, she's got to talk about two things. First, she's got to plug her catchphrase. "Ugh, I think that I'm gonna keel over." Second, she's got to talk about her rash and shove them in our faces. I don't need that. And then she tells the most boring stories that anyone could ever tell. I honestly never would have guessed that anyone could have gone outside and worked and still had such an uneventful life, where the most exciting thing that they can talk about is how their husband broke the microwave oven. That took up about 3 hours of each of my birthdays, because my mom always felt the need to take me over to Grandma's on my birthdays, despite my requests not to go.
