well, as most people know, brains aren't done developing yet at the HS stage. Sometimes kids don't even realize what they're doing, and how greatly it affects people. Some people are scarred for life due to embarrasment or harassment from other people. At least thats what Dr. Phil says.
Aah, the blissful ignorance of your average American :p There does exist a world outside of America. And in it, many countries drive on the left-hand side[/b'] of the road.
You generalized americans just like he generalized australians, personally, I love autralians :p . It would be boring if everything was the same everywhere, the while point of visitng another country is experiencing the culture, doing something new. Sometimes its hard to conform to new ways, but it helps you grow. As for having a toilet and shower in the same room, I think its a good idea. I like to relax after well, extricating my materials lol. And the shower is awesome for resting. Just sit back and let the water flow.

I'll buy you a hat for your birthday ;) . And I understand what you were trying to do, I agree, its boring to just conform your opinion to someone elses, or just agree to disagree. Hopefully, someone got something from my rabbling posts. And even if they didn't, all I ask is for them to respect my beliefs and opinions, like I do theirs, even if they don't agree with it.

I didn't desert it actually, I planned on posting last, since I was dark and seperated from the academy, but oh well  , what do you think of fighting at a port? Half cobblestoned land and the other half water scattered with boats? Thought it might be fun to vary things up a bit. If you agree I can begin the thread, I'll make it look nice, title, picture and such. By the way, I'll need a picture of your character, the one at the inn doesn't show. Thanks.

hmm, I challenge...Albel *points sharply* do you accept?

well, I was never really good at definitions, you got what I meant by divine anyway. I'd like to reply to the brilliant comment you've posted, but at the moment I'm a bit out of it at the moment, and I didn't really get what you were trying to say. You don't have to re-post and break it down for me, that would just confirm my stupidity lol. My point was, everyone has their own beliefs and ideals, so how can we classify one thing as right or wrong. Especially something as important as this (in some people's lives). Whether god created us or not, we've been given free will. We're able to choose what is right and what is wrong for ourselves. We're able to do what we want but expected to follow rules previously created in the bible, or another historical text. And the bible wasn't even written by god, or jesus, or another "divine" figure. It was written by prophets. And as we all know, people can be decptive and sinical and god's words could've been twisted in any way they saw fit. I think its unfair to follow the words of others rather then god himself. Isn't that disrespecting the one they claim to follow? Many things lead me to disbelieve in god and/or his teachings. The people who claim to worship god sin frequently, and just because they apologize and repent, that makes it ok. Well, its not ok to apologize for something and then continue to do it. Unless you learn from your mistakes then you've learned nothing and continuing to repent is just stopping you from growing as a person. I do my best to live a good life and be a good person, whether I go to church every sunday, every once in awhile, or not at all. I believe a higher power, whoever it may be, will acknowledge this and I will be rewarded, rather then those who choose to judge and hurt people, even when their "god" is against it. Sorry if I offended anyway, I always make it a point to apologize at the end of these, since its religion and such :animesigh

Children That Are Smarter Than Their Parents
Kamuro replied to Sinistra's topic in General Discussion
Well, sometimes its easier for a child to be smarter then their parents in some ways because of the advance in technology. Its a lot easier to get a hold of information then it was back then (at least for my parents). With computers, internets, cell phones, its easier to communicate and learn more at a faster rate. This also comes into play in schools and such. With all the materials we've aquired over the years learning is a lot easier and less stressful. Rather then tediously reading through books you can just type what you want on thei nternet and do a search. However, I don't believe I'm smarter then my parents when it comes to common sense. They've been around a lot longer then I have and they've experienced a lot more then I have. Its easy to say I know more about computers, but when it comes to life itself I doubt I know even close to as much as them. Its sort of like, street smarts I guess. -
just notifying everyone, I signed up at the inn and am available for challenging, I'd do it myself but I wasn't here since the very beginning, so I'm not sure whos open or whatever

oh well, guess it depends on hwat your idea of a star is, I've played lots of acoustic shows with people I think are awesome, they seem to be pretty popular, but idk if you could call them stars, The Spill Canvas, rookie of the year, etc. Most of the people I've met are musicians. It actually happens randomly rather then trying to actually meet someone. I'd like to meet lots of people, these are mostly musicians as well lol. Could you imagine getting guitar lessons from someone like lenny kravitz, or carlos santana or something, it would be amazing.
-
well, it depends on what hes going for, if the sig was made to display a "Big-O like" series, then its perfect. Otherwise, its still pretty good, just depends on what your using it for. As far as the animation and stuff go's, its really good. I like it a lot 8.5/10

well, it sounds kind of retarded to me lol. As James said most movie based games suck. It would be terrible to take such good movies and turn them into a game. They'd have to modify the story and change a lot of the voice acting, I mean c'mon, would you really want that? I doubt they would make a Jaws game, by the way. Ecco had a terrible concept, and as fun as it would be to randomly eat people, I'm thinking it would get old.

Well, after seeing he few alchemists on the show, its hard to think of an original alchemist and what abilities he/she would have. I like Ed's ability to create a blade whenever he chooses, or repair his brother whenever hes hurt, quite useful, at least in his case. Guess if I could choose I'd just pick an element and be a lightning/thunder alchemist. Being able to throw lightning is always a plus, as well as being able to transfer it through certain objects and such. It'd be fun to shock people randomly, or use the heat to shape things to my liking, create a weapon, etc.
i stongly agree that the girl should have been locked up
well, thank you for that incredibly intelligent and detailed post, the girl wasn't going to be "locked up", they were considering keeping her over night in a detention center, but thats all, and even that didn't happen. The situation was blown way out of proportion and went way to far considering the age of the girl.

see, thats why I said this post was so opinionated, everyone has different religions and every religion has a different veiw on god/the creation of earth. My comment referring to us being gods amusement is just that. Who says godi s a divine creature? If he/she does exist, who says they're someone worth worshipping. And it annoys me how some people fallow these religions so blindly, its ridiculous. Pledging your life to something or someone your not even sure is there. And praying to someone who might now even be listening. False hope only goes so far.

I know, it sounds like a terrible generalization, but it wasn't meant to be that way. It just seems like a majority of black people fit that stereotype, and it annoys me. It seems that some people are destined to be great but are taken off track due to influence by their past or people from the present. I mean, it'd be a lot easier for someone to accept people, or work with someone, without having the thought of slavery in the back of their minds. Its stupid, and its not the way their ancestors or my ancestors would want it to be.

oh well, its hard to have a specific opinion about love, since its such a complex thing, and everyone has a different opinion on it. I believe that love is a little bit of both. Some people are so physically attracted to someone that they create an image of love in their head. This is not real love, as much as some people would like it to be, its just not. You can't be attracted to one specific part of a person and just neglect everything else, it doesn't work that way. As I said in another post, love is a feeling. And if you think of it literally, then I guess the brain is resposible for it. But its nice to think that you're meant for someone and someones meant for you. The moment you look at someone and just realize that they're something special. Thats not a thought, thats a vibe, a feeling, an instinct. Its not something to ponder, its something to act on. And thats the way you should live.

What Does your sig, avi and username say about you.
Kamuro replied to shinji172's topic in General Discussion
Well, when I made my sig I never really thought of its meaning. My username = kakashi, so my sig = kakashi lol. I added a little quote under it which I thought added a little personality to the whole signature. But Kairi got it basically right. There is a reason that my persona on this forum is kakashi, and a lot of my RP's/RP characters are similar to what he described. Well done my friend :animesmil -
I only have one shower, and after reading all the different things you can do in the shower, I'm compelled to get another to increase my showering pleasure (no pun intended). *wonders where his shower is* knowing my luck it probably won't be there if I look for it, I'll just wait for it to come to me

Gaming What upcoming game are you most looking forward to?
Kamuro replied to Bloodseeker's topic in Noosphere
I agree with NPC on Area 51, I like the idea, its simple, yet I'm sure there will be plenty of things to kill. But basically I'm looking forward to every FF title ever lol. Sounds vague, but I'm not sure if I'll like 12, or 13, or whatever, but we know the series is gonna go on for a pretty long while and each one will offer us something new. Hopefully 12 will be awesome, but if not, just remember theres always the next to look forward to, and Square Enix will learn from their mistakes and make the games that much better. God knows when they'll actually reach the point of satisfaction, so sit back and play away. -
I choose Sigma, I always thought he was kind of cool anyway, but personally I hated almost every character from Star Fox. I wish they would put Slippy in SSB so I could beat the crap out of him with Falco or something :animesigh

well, looks like I am "officially" not the only one to call tetris boring. Who makes these things official anyway? Oh well, since people must neglect to read the whole of my posts, I'll post it again. I mentioned nothing about the tediousness or repativity of Mario, I said it at least had a plot, which it does. And the plot of Tetris you may ask? Well, there isn't one. At least Mario compelled people to play and still does today. Compare Mario's success to that of Tetris and get back to me. Anyway, I don't really understand why we're arguing about this. The game is old and tired and it will be respected as a classic, but that doesn't mean its "the best game ever." Sure, way back when a lot of people played music, and it opened the door for a lot of todays bands, but that doesn't mean we have to like it and that doesn't mean its good. We have made so many advnaces in the gaming world to call Tetris "the best" or even "one of the best" is a jaded survey geared towards that of classic/most impressionable games rather then "the best." And if your wondering why I put the best in quotes everytime, its because "the best" is an opinion, what I think is the best and you think is the best could be totally different. As for Tetris, almost everyone in the post, who has admitted they liked the game, has mentioned its repativity and how it just, well, gets old. So you should "officially" admit it already and get it over with.

Well, I was talking with one of my family members about this recently and its something that really gets me heated sometimes. Racism. Now, I'm not a racist, but I don't think its fair for african americans to use "the race card", as its called, to explain something bad thats happened to them. An example, everytime you see cops theres always some black guy saying that hes getting arrested because hes black. Now because of the several weapons hes carrying, or the 7 bags of weed found in his pocket, because hes black. And it really gets to me. For one, a lot of black people I know (not generalizing) bring up slavery. Truth is you weren't slaves. Your ancestors were slaves, which is terrible, but you didn't go through that. You weren't shackled, beaten, or judged. Most black people bring this up constantly as an excuse to overshadow a real problem they're having, its terrible. Secondly, I'm tired of black people saying I don't like them because they're black. Its just not true, I have tons of black friends, they're smart, fun, and I love to hang with them. I just don't like loud, annoying, obnoxious people and a lot of the black people I know fit this mold. They say "whateva whateva, you don like me cause I'm black. NO I don't like you because you annoy the hell out of me. I could care less what color your skin is, if I don't like your personality, then I'm not gonna spend time with you, and I'm not gonna like you. Lastly, I believe that there is just as many black people who are racist as there are white. Because of things that happened hundreds of years ago they assume that they could never trust someone whos white, therefore judge that kind of people before even knowing what kind of people they are. Its ridiculous that they classify all white people under one label and then expect us not to do the same. Those are just the couple of the things I'm feeling. By no means am I racist or a person who hates black people. Take what I've said as you will. The question of the post is, what do you think? Do think the whole slavery issue is taken to far? Do you believe racism goes both ways? You can comment on anything I've said at all.

I agree with box hoy, even if you think the person is right for you, don't try to hard. Lots of the time people feel pressured by their partner and have to get out of the relationship. Sometimes its hard to hold back but its important to show your feelings in moderation. Its great to say "I love you" but you have to mean it when you say it. Other then that "the one" is definitely a feeling. A state of mind your in while your with that person. It sort of makes you forget about everyone else and its just you and them, which is sort of where the term "the one" comes from. Its the only one for you, and thats the only person you'll ever need.

I think everyone is almost in agreement, it was wrong to cuff the girl and it was handled the wrong way. Retribution, c'mon lol. Even if the cuffing didn't harm her, they wanted to keep her over night in a detention center. Luckily her mom stopped them from corrupting her further. However, I have another standpoint on the issue. I can't see a child like this being completely innocent before having entered school. As previously stated most of us are able to control ourselves, for the most part, at that age. I get the feeling that mom hasn't treated her daughter all that well and shes part of the problem. Of course the girl has some malfunction to but to blame the entire situation on a five your old girl is crazy. Give me a five year old that acts rationally, especially in cuffs surrounded by tall people carrying guns and other weapons. Another thing, that I think might rear its ugly head in this case, is the girl's race. She was black, and the teacher, policemen, etc were all white. I don't believe that this has anything to do with the case itself but it seems that its always brought up and people take it more seriously then they should.
