[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles and Amer were hurring through the dry desert with Sarin catching up quickly, the slowed just for a few moments for Sarin to catch up and match their normal speed. They drew closer to the mountains with every step, they grew in size as they made their way past the tumble weeds, cactus and other dead shrubbery. Achilles stopped when they were close enough to the mountain side. [B][COLOR=DarkRed] "I wonder where the others are."[/COLOR][/B] Achilles said as he looked up the sheer drop off the mountain and the jagged peaks and boulders that looked ready to fall off. He looked to Amer.[B] [COLOR=DarkRed] "Could you fly me up the mountain?"[/COLOR] [/B]Amer looked over the mountain side and back to Achilles nodding. Achilles nodded to himself. [COLOR=DarkRed][B] "Hmmm, this could work."[/B][/COLOR] Then they heard a crash as something hit the mountains face, Achilles drew his weapon along with Amer and Sarin preparing to change forms. They saw a hulking monster slowly push itself from its hole. It was bleeding and cut badly but it seemed like it effect it very little. Achilles then saw Emilio and Grace faighting the demon, Grace using her force of the wind to tear at the demon with Emilio lashing out at random times to throw it further off balance. Achilles split his sword with the chain attached to both ends, he creeped behind the best and quickly threw the chain round it's neck and pulled him down. He looked to the two as he kept the monster down. [B][COLOR=DarkRed] "It would be nice if you could kill him now. I can't hold him down forever."[/B][/COLOR] Achilles grunted with the effort of holding this massive creatuer down with just his chain. The swords handles slipped and was now gripping the blades bare handed, they cut into his palms and bleed freely. He maintained his tight grip, pushing past the pain. [COLOR=DarkRed][B] "Somebody finish him!"[/B][/COLOR] Achilles held the blades waiting for someone to make the killing blow.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Kain looked at her with one eyebrow raised and a blank expression. [COLOR=DarkRed][B] "You 'died' in a fire? This is interesting news. I wonder if your body still exists in that graveyard."[/B][/COLOR] She looked at him with a mean look. [COLOR=DarkRed][B] "Don't you dare use my body for your sick army. There are some places you do not go, even if you are a deader."[/B][/COLOR] Kain looked at her seeing if he still could instill fear into her. [COLOR=DarkRed][B] "You do not tell me what to do, you follow my orders and if I can use a dead body to serve me I will. You question me again and I will kill you and use your corpse as my personal servant. Got it?"[/B][/COLOR] Kain looked at her deeply, avoiding her eyes. She held her stare and didn't back down for several moments, after a time she looked back down to her drink. Kain gulped his down. [COLOR=DarkRed][I] 'She's growing braver, this could end badly if I really must kill her. She still is very useful in life, lets hope she stays meek for the time being.'[/I][/COLOR] He set it down and spoke again in a regular tone. [COLOR=DarkRed][B] "Now, tell me more about this fire in your town. And tell me exactly it came to happen and how many died in this blaze."[/B][/COLOR] Kain waited for her response.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroth nodded his head. [COLOR=DarkRed][SIZE=1] "Of course I can calling him by his real name. He always seemed to stir up a bit when someone uses it."[/SIZE][/COLOR] Azuroth watched as the sprite and the dragon formed a better plan in thie minds. He watched the phoenix as it grew slowly into it's adult form once more.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles and Amer started to pass through the void Achilles spoke. [B] "Amer, you should know me better by now. I don't do stupid things, i'm just a little crazy."[/B] Amer let a little laugh out. [B] "A little crazy? Try the most psychotic human I know."[/B] Achilles laughed. [B] "Well, i'm still alive so I think I can live with being crazy."[/B] Amer chuckled. He looked straight ahead. [B] "Were reaching the end of the abyss."[/B] Achilles smiled. [B] "Finally, this trip was getting really boring. Mabye i'll get Dreadnaught home after all."[/B] Achilles said to himself as they started to see a white light pushing through the pitch blackness of the void.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[/url] He has blue eyes and his face has the appearnce of what his age looks to others. [B]Background:[/B] Sin has been around for centuries, watching countries and cultuers rise and fall. Seeing empires rise to power with massive armies and almost total control over the currently known world of that time period. Then watched them fall apart from over exersion of their political and military power. He took joy in watching them rise and took even more pleasuer in watching the empires crumble into history. Sin has become one of the most cold and calculating of the vampire council, he has proven his strength and speed time and time again. Usually against those who would try to steal power and attempt to kill anyone on the council. He is not one of the most important leaders but he does serve a purpose and shows to be strong and willing to undertake anything presented to him. Recently he has become werrier of the council and their debat on whether or not they should take control of the humans like they did so long ago. He holds strong opinons agaisnt such and action because of how the end result wold repeat history. They seem to refuse to hear him, save for two others on the council who have the same agrument with them. Sin hopes that they will not have to take drastic mesuers against the council, but everyday he spends in the council chamber he loses hope in achieveing a peaceful way of deciding agaisnt the issue. The issue of enslavemnt of the human race. [/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles walked through the forest aimlessly, his rage and his darkside showing themselves to their fullest. Everything he saw took on the face of every man and women he killed. Seeing them holding out their arms in a welcoming manner, his rage and evil within vanished as the faces grew in amount. The welcoming arms growing in numbers and the same thing being spoken to him through the lips of every dead man or women that were now in his sight. [B] "Welcome brother, we have waited for your arrival."[/B] He just igrnored them, he blinked once and turned his face forward. Ignoring their pleas for him, their crys for him to come to them. The voices grew louder, but Achilles still would not listen to them. A moment later Dreadnaught returned. Appearing a brilliant shimmer of light, the people and their voices faded with Dreadnaughts return. Achilles smiled at his sword. [B] "Looks like you do more then just keep me alive. You keep me sane."[/B] Dreadnaught laughed in his mind. [B] "You did that before me and you still do it to this day. I remain as your instrument for battle. Look into the sky."[/B] AChilles stopped walking and looked into the sky, he saw the void appear as everything around him disappeared slowly. The trees were pulled into the ground the grass was erased and the ky took on a gray hugh. The city's building crumbled and vanished as if never there. The people and airships disappeared like dust in the wind. [B] "We're going home Dreadnaught. Mabye I can go back to the forest where we can rest in peace."[/B] Dreadlaughed lighty and Achilles felt a hand on his shoulder, he looked up to see Dreadnaught in human form. [B] "We still have much to do before you pass on from this world, Achilles. But by the end of this war you will be remembered through out the ages as a great warrior. And your friends will carry you in their hearts for eternity."[/B] Achilles put his face back down, his hair covering his eyes. He put his hand on the opposite shoulder of Dreadnaught. [B] "We'll do it together. And when I pass on, you will go back to Emilio and the Kappa race. You deserve a long rest for the blood you have seen."[/B] Dreadnaught smiled kindly to Achilles, and nodded his head. [B] "I will enjoy the rest. Let us be going old friend."[/B] Dreadnaught vanished and Achilles felt himself being raised into the sky, ready for what was to come.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroth awoke from his little nap in the sun, he stood up and rolled his head so that his neck would pop. He rubbed his neck with his right to avoid getting cut from his daggertail once more. He looked around to see everyone was spaced apart from eachother, everyone except for Sano seemed to be a bit down and Azuroth could feel it pretty well. He could also tell their was a strong sense of fear and anger in the air, he didn't care for the source so he would just avoid everyone he could. He walked to the other end of the beach, not caring much that his blackened skin and massive scars were exspoed to the open world. He made his way off to find a shady spot for himself. [B] "It's really quiet on this island. Thats interesting."[/B] Azuroth spoke to himself as he walked past the last person into a lonley place where it was cool and dark. He smiled when he saw a perfect little spot where it was hidden from sight but allowed him to view anyone apporching. He approched the spot and saw it was a cave into the island, he walked a few feet into the cave and stopped. He looked around at the cave walls. [B] "This is best place I can practice."[/B] He drew his daggertail and began to swing his weapon as he fluidly moved with it. Spinning and moving quickly and swiftly, like water. This was his exercise he practiced so he could get the upper hand on his enemy, none of them were faster or swifter then him. He lost himself in his self training. Focusing all his energy and mind onto his moves and the cordination he needed to maintain his daggertail from cutting him apart.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles continued to bolt through the forest, the unconsious women over his shoulder. He was reaching his destination. He could taste the power that awaited. He reached his mile mark and looked around in shock and disbelief. [B] "There's nothing here."[/B] He said as he walked into a clearing, dropping Renia on the floor. A single oak tree stood perfectly in the middle of the clearing, he fell to his knees and looked up at the tree. The look of extreme disappointment showed greatly on Achilles face. Achilles put the plam of his hand on the tree, feeling that the bark was smooth and the leaves green. The air surrounding it freah and clean. He drew Dreadnaught and stabbed it viciously into the tree, he let it go and took a few steps away. He heard a grown from Reina and turned his attention to her. [B] "You lied to me!"[/B] AChilles hurried over to her and grabbed her throat, lifting her straight off the ground. He let his arm drop, still holding her throat firmly in his grasp. She was gasping, he walked back to the tree dragging her across the ground. He slammed her against the tree and held her up with one hand and he gripped Dreadnaught, he split Dreadnaught but this time a chain was attached to both ends. The chain was made of razor sharp blades that were compacted together with about and two inches of space between each blade. He let go of her and quickly went to the side of the tree and the chain crossed her throat. He went all the way around the tree until he was facing her. [B] "You lied to me. And now you'll pay for your trechery!"[/B] Achilles tugged lightly on the chain and it pressed for a second into her throat and then fell slightly slack. A line of blood was left behind from blades. Reina still laughed horsely. [B] "What did you expect? I'm an assassin. I would never tell you the truth about our power."[/B] Achilles rage was building, he tugged again on the chain. [B] "Where are your people?"[/B] She looked at him with her hazel eyes. [B] "There are no people. There is only four of us. We were sent to kill the Fujin king. We kill him and the rest of you went free."[/B] Achilles approched until he was about two inches from her face. [B] "I should kill you right now, take your head clean off and let this tree drink your blood." "Why don't you?[/B]" Achilles growled. [B] "Because Gale would rather have you. I will just help him out."[/B] Achilles made more chain appear from the end of the piece of Dreadnaught he held and circled her about four times getting the rest of her body. When he finished he stabbed the blade into the tree next to her legs. Achilles turned and started to walk away. [B] "You can't just leave me here!"[/B] Achilles stopped and turned his head to look at her out of the corner of his eye. [B] "Yes I can. And I will."[/B] He turned his head again and started walking again. Reina spoke in a more frantice tone. [B] "What about your special sword?"[/B] Achilles halted once more, turning his head to look. [B] "He'll return to me when your dead."[/B] She spoke quickly again. [B] "This is inhuman! You can't do this to me! Your a monster!"[/B] Achilles spoke in the most cold and wicked tone anyone one could hear out of a mans mouth. [B] "I've already come to terms with my loss of humainty. Again, I can and I will leave you here."[/B] He walked a few steps back towards her until he was five feet away. [B] "But I have never come to terms with that. But being a monstrosity has kept me alive for so many years already, and I plan on living for many more."[/B] Achilles walked away, he reached the end of the clearing when he heard Reina screaming at him. [B] "Your father would be ashamed of you!"[/B] Achilles smiled and chuckled, he continued to walk away into the darkness of the forest. Leaving Reina to her doomed fate.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles kept his sword to her back, his other hand firmly gripping her shoulder. He looked around in the darkness best he could. Watching the trees and listening for any sounds, the forest reamined silent. This was very uncomfrotable for Achilles. But it helped in finding anyone trying to sneak up on him. He spoke to his captive. [B] "Now isn't this fun."[/B] She smiled sarcastically. [B] "It sure is."[/B] [B] "You better be leading me in the right direction. I know the way we came so if were gone the wrong way I'll take you back and let Gale have his revenge."[/B] She just rolled her eyes. She was a hardened warrior to the end, he admired that. Threats were of new good save for taking her life. That one proved effect in any situation. Achilles heard something break from behind him and looked quickly, he saw something for a split second then it disappeard. Achilles growled. [I] 'Gale you stupid bastered. I told you to go back.'[/I] Achilles turned back forward and spoke to Reina. [B] "How much further?"[/B] She turned her head slightly to look at him out of the corner of her eye. [B] "Just about another mile straight forward." "Good."[/B] Achilles took Dreadnaught and quickly punctuered a preassuer point and she passed out. He lifted her up and threw her on his shoulder. [B] "Good thing we have the same anatomy."[/B] He bolted through the forest, hoping Gale couldn't keep up in his injured state. Right then he heard a roar and looked at the sky. [B] "Oh you got to be kidding me! They are all coming! This plan sure went ot hell. Dammit Gale! You screwed it up, go back to the city!"[/B] Gale appeared limping slightly. [B] "Not going anywhere Achilles. Can't leave you alone for this trip."[/B] Achilles looked at him hard. [B] "Gale, don't make me do to you what I did to her. In your weakened state it wouldn't be hard. So I suggest you go to the others and tell them I will be fine. If I do not send word in a few days then come after me. Otherwise don't worry."[/B] Achilles bolted off the way he was going leaving Gale their by himself, hoping he would choose to go back.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Kain looked her over, she seemed to have gained a great confidence boost. He use to look at her and could tell she was cowering in his precense. But now she seemed like his presence only brought comfort instead of fear. He didn't like this, if he lost total control over her then things could get out of hand. He would watch her carfully. [B] "Well it's good to know you remember now. Since you are the expert of this time I will let you have control of this trip."[/B] Kain gestuered for her to take the lead, she walked ahead of him. Kain stood a few feet behind her, watching her closely.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles and Reina were getting closer to the forest, Achilles would do movements that would draw he further into his trap. Doing his best to keep from killing her right there and then. They reached the forest, Achilles was ready, they moved a bit farther into it. [I] 'Almost there.'[/I] Achilles thought when she suddenly pushed him against a tree and kissed him. She stopped kissing him and looked at him with another seductive look, she turned his back to him showing some buttons going down her back. He reached with one hand for the button and the other quickly brought Dreadnaught out and up against her back. She flinched just a little but the cold steel. [B] "Gotcha."[/B] He whispered in her ear, she exhaled with a slight smile on her face. [B] "Took you long enough. You had a very quick change of heart. At first I assumed you came to your sense but knowing the type you are. You created a plan to get back at me for Gale's murder."[/B] Achilles pushed Dreadnaught a little deeper into her back. [B] "For your information he's not dead. He is hurt badly by you but still alive. I was originally going to kill you and be done with it but then I have an idea."[/B] Reina smiled lightly. [B] "And what is that warrior?"[/B] He moved closer to whisper in her ear. [B] "I would use you as a bargining chip. You stay alive,you guide me to your people and they teach me how to be as powerful as all of you. You will stay alive, and I will get stronger. Do we have a deal?"[/B] She grunted and rolled her eyes. Achilles spoke again. [B] "Remember, in this position I can kill you faster then you know. Just a quick stab to your kidneys and then one to either lung and you die slowly. So choose wisely."[/B] She rolled her eyes again. [B] "Deal."[/B] Right then Gale walked up to him, limping slightly. He came up behind Achilles. [B] "Do it, kill her quickly and we'll leave."[/B] [B] "No! Me and her have a deal. And I need her alive, she has promised to guide me to ehr people and from their I will grow stronger. Hopfully I will get a chance to kill her but today she has a free pass. She will not die today, now lets move."[/B] He pushed Dreadnaught into her again and she started walking. [B] "Go back Gale. I will return, hopfully."[/B] Gale stood in the darkness of the forest as Achilles and Reina disappeared into the forest. Gale followed them into the darkness.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles eyes were closed and he almost fell asleep when he heard a scream of pain come from the room next door. His shot up with wide eyes. [B] "Gale!"[/B] He bolted out of the room, Emilio following with hearing the scream. The busted into Gales room and saw him bloody and limp on the floor. Achilles ran over and kneeled down next to him and cradled his head in his arms. [B] "Gale, wake up. Talk, move. Do something!"[/B] He heard him groan, he sighed with relief, Achilles turned his head to look at Emilio. [B] "Find some blankets and wrap him up tightly. Find some quickly."[/B] Emilio instantly went to a bed. Achilles looked back down at Gale. [B] "Gale, who did this to you? Who?"[/B] Gale groaned and tried to get the words out, he managed a few words. [B] "Orion.... Reina....."[/B] Gale coughed up blood. Achilles rage started to build, his teeth grinded together and he snered and stood up. His hair falling over his eyes, Emilio returned as Achilles was walking away. [B] "Where are you going?"[/B] Achilles turned with a vicious look in his eyes. [B] "To kill someone."[/B] Emilio grabbed his shoulder. [B] "Gale said to stay here."[/B] Achilles pushed Emilios hand off his shoulder roughly. [B] "Look at him! He's half dead! Someone needs to pay and they will. Someone named Reina."[/B] He smashed the door open and walked to the elevator, he hit the button that had a down pointing arrow. A woman wearing a silk red dress and blue hair coming down to her waist. He took little notice in her, his anger was taking to much control of him. The women was looking him over casually, then the doors opened and they both stepped in. She hit the button for the lobby and Achilles just went with what was going on. She spoke to him. [B] "Those are some interesting clothes you are wearing."[/B] Achilles kept staring at the door, she looked at his weapon. [B] "Thats a nice sword. Can I see it?"[/B] [B] "No."[/B] Achilles said harshly, keeping his gaze on the door. She touched his arm and put her hand on his back and moved close to him, whispering into his ear. [B] "Please, let me see it."[/B] Achilles growled and pushed her off. [B] "No. Don't touch me." [/B]She took a step closer and Achilles just let it go. He growled. [B] "Please stay away from me. I need to stay clear of mind for what I am going to do."[/B] She looked at him with a seductive look. [B] "Going to do what?"[/B] Achilles turned his head to look at her with his anger burning in his eyes. [B] "I'm going to kill someone."[/B] She looked at him questionable. [B] "Kill who?"[/B] Achilles looked forwards again. [B] "That I will not say. Now get off of me."[/B] He pushed her off and the doors opened he stepped out and she followed. He stopped at the desk and she kept going to the door. He asked the women at the counter about anyone named Reina who came in recently. She pointed to the women with blue hair, she was looking at him again. He was ready to throw Dreadnaught at her and kill her then but he had a better plan. He walked up to her and put his arm around her, looking as if he was happy. [B] "How about we go somewhere else? How about the forest?"[/B] She looked at him and pulled him outside they walked side by side. Achilles had a plan ready for her and she most likey had one ready for him. He would act first. When the time was right.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles kept his searching the place, something about it put him on edge. Mabye it was so nice he just didn't feel comfortable. But thats not what it felt likem he felt like he had eyes on his back at all times and something was going to happen. [B] "I hate this place already."[/B] He said to himself as he looked up at the ceiling and in the corners. Right then he noticed a little device looking right at him, he stepped to the left and it followed. He moved to the right it followed. He grabbed a chair and stood on it to get a better look. A litte red light flickered in the corner of it. [B] "What the hell is this?"[/B] He then saw a wire dangling from the device going into the wall. He drew Dreadnaught and cut the wire, the light in the corner stopped blinking. Achilles stepped off the chair and put it in it's right place. He looked at it and moved about to see if it would follow him. It didn't move, he put Dreadnaught back and decided to go to a near by window. He opened it and it showed him a perfect view of the forest they came out of. He could see the tops of the trees and the lush green leaves they had growing. He was yearning for his home already. He shook himself. [B] "Wake up Achilles. You go into that forest you'll die from that Leo fellow."[/B] Achilles thought about how powerful he was, how he just toyed with all of them like rag dolls. The very temptation of that possible power was within Achilles grasp, he had never had to better his abilitys. He could kill any man that challenged him, he always had, too. But this Leo was impossible fast, strong and intelligent. Achilles secretly desired this his whole life. He thought he had quenched his thirst for power when Achilles took up Dreadnaught. In his world he had, this world was a different story. [B] "I must go to that forest and find Leo. But what would I do to keep him from killing me?"[/B] He thought about it, trying to find the answer he was searching for with great effort. It came to him after a few moments, his face showed it greatly. [B] "I know what I must do. But I must wait until I can go without the others knowning. I must go at nightfall, when they others are asleep."[/B] Achilles hoped his plan would work, but he must keep it to himself inorder for it to work. He walked to the couch and sat down on it, looking as if he was relaxing. But the plan was going through his mind making sure he wasn't missing any details. Plans always started out simple but they always came out more complicated then figuered they would be. He closed his eyes to get a better pictuer. He kept his face blank to not give away anything.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles heard Graces anouncment and watched her for a moment. He could tell she felt a little bit alone in the group, he left his standing spot at the window and seated himself next to Grace. [B] "Interesting introduction."[/B] Grace turned her heard to look at him. He held out his hand. [B] "I'm Achilles, only inhabitant of the deep forest. Save for the elves that now have it. I served in the war three years ago. I've known Gale and Chrys most of my life, Emilio, Sarin, and Amer I know due to the war. They are very dependable in your time of need."[/B] Grace smiled shyly but took his hand and shook it gently. She turned back to the window. Achilles sat down quietly thinking of something to say. He had it. He spoke to her quietly. [B] "If some of us are a little hesitant about talking to you it's not because of you but because of a demon we encountered three years ago. She was a master of wind as well, we have been pretty shaken up about that."[/B] She nodded her head, realization showed in her eyes through the reflection of the window. Achilles then drew Dreadnaught and held the hilt out to her. [B] "This is Dreadnaught. I only introduce my sword to you because he demanded it."[/B] Grace looked at him questionable. [B] "Demanded it?"[/B] Achilles chuckled lightly. [B] "Yes, he did. He's alive in sorts, I had to merge souls with him to be able to weild him properly." [/B]Grace reached for the handle and Achilles watched her grab it, she quickly let go and looked like she was weak. [B] "What was that?"[/B] She asked [B] "Dreadnaught takes life from demons, he doesn't like that. I only let you touch him for on reason. That is to remember what it felt like. And I have one more warning for you."[/B] She looked at him with her full attention. [B] "If you get close to Emilio, Sarin, Amer, Gale, Chrys or anyone I know and betray them, Dreadnaught will be the last thing you see before I take your head off and I cut out your heart. I don't trust your race of demon for more then just Kami's ruthlessness. You will have to prove yourself before anyone is relaxed around you. So be careful about what you do and say."[/B] Achilles sheathed Dreadnaught and Walked back to his window hoping his message got across.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles had his arms crossed and looked out the windows of the airship. He saw the massive city with the towering buildings and the multiple airships passing by them. Achilles felt kind of sick by the sight of such a great city, he never liked citys much. At that moment the old man walked up beside him, Achilles took no notice of him. [B] "Amazing isn't it?"[/B] The old man stated with pride, Achilles looked at him for a moment then back out the window. [B] "Sure is."[/B] He said with a hint of sickness. Achilles looked out the corners of his eyes to the forest. He spoke to the old man. [B] "Has anyone ever wanted to join the people in the forest?"[/B] The old man looked at him appaled. [B] "Never, they are to brutal for my people."[/B] Achilles continued to look at the forest, secretly hoping to meet those people and learn their techniques. But he kept that to himself. The old man looked him over, looking at his armor and clothes. [B] "That is some odd clothing stranger. Why do you wear it?"[/B] Achilles looked at him and made up a reason. [B] "It provides comfort and mobility, contrary to the way it looks. You dress oddly yourself by my customs."[/B] The old man smiled and looked himself over. [B] "This is daily clothing young one."[/B] Achilles thought about this, this would be a difficult world to get use to.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Achilles could only survey the area infront of his eyes. He could only see trees and this is where he felt more at home, the thoughts of the battle cameback to him. He had already killed at least a dozen elven soldiers that foolishly charged him, thinking he was just human. He had done his best to save as many people as he could, but an Archmage had attacked him in the process. He had tried to kill him, regardless of Gale's warning. He had no succession other then cutting him along the shoulder or so. At that time the hole had sucked them all into the sky. He had been the first to wake up and marked the land. [B] "It's too bloody quiet."[/B] Emilio turned to look at him. [B] "Excuse me?"[/B] Achilles kept looking through the forest but spoke to Emilio. [B] "The forest is too quiet, there are no signs of life of any mannor. I don't like it. It makes me uncomfortable."[/B] [B] "Well how do you think I feel? I am far away from any water source and were all in an unsual place."[/B] Achilles smiled lighty and spoke to him again without looking. [B] "When your a soldier you learn to adjust to all surroundings, plus living in the deep forest for three years does tend to help."[/B] Emilio sighed, Achilles looked to Amer and Sarin talking amongst themselves. He whisteled to them to get their attention, they turned their head to look at him. [B] "Sarin, Amer. I know we said spliting up to search is a bad idea but I'de like you two to go about a hundred meters or so into the forest and see if it ends, if it doesn't in that much area then come back here and we'll move further out when Chrys and the new girl come down. Sounds good?"[/B] They looked at eachother for a moment and nodded. [B] "We'll be right back."[/B] They took off into the forest quickly. Achilles smiled and watched the forests. A few minutes later Amer and Sarin returned. Achilles approched them. [B] "Does it end?"[/B] They both shook their heads. [B] "It just keeps going."[/B] Achilles turned away and looked around again. [B] "Dammit, we could be here awhile."[/B] At that moment Chrys and the new girl appeared and Chrys looked scared but excited. [B] "What did you see?"[/B] Achilles asked with urgency in his voice. [B] "We saw a struggle from the air. Trees were falling down and we saw explosions."[/B] [B] "Which way?"[/B] She pointed north, Achilles smiled. [B] "We might have found Gale."[/B] His smile faded and he bolted into the forest, the others following behind him.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]AChilles sat on his cot in his home deep in the forest, he was sharpening Dreadnaught doing what he always did. He heard a noise at his door and instantly threw Dreadnaught, it hit the wooden frame where the door opened. A soldier entered with a shocked look on his face. Achilles smiled, he recognized the soldiers uniform. A soldier of Fujin. Achilles stood up. [B] "Sorry about that. Living in the deep forest is a hazard. What can I do for you young one."[/B] The soldier pulled out a rolled up message and handed it to Achilles, Achilles took it and rolled it open reading it carfully. [B] "Hmmmm, Gale is having a ball. He is requesting I come."[/B] Achilles rolled it back up and thought for a moment. [B] "This will be interesting, I haven't been in civilization for queit sometimes. Go back soldier, have fun and try not to get killed on the way back."[/B] The soldier nodded and left quickly. Achilles walked to the door and pulled out his blade. He was about to close the door when he saw a quick, sudden movement. He stepped out of his home and looked around in the twilight. He readied Dreadnaught. [B] "Who's there? Come out and show yourself!"[/B] Achilles saw a figuer standing off to his side. He looked at the figuer in a forest cloak and silver hair hanging from inside the hood. [B] "Silver hair? Thats an odd trait. Show me your face."[/B] The figuer complied and pulled down his hood. Achilles eyes opened wide. [B] "An elf? You still exsist?"[/B] The elf smiled and charged lightning fast, Achilles reacted just as fast. He cut at the Elf's leg last moment and the elf went down, Achilles stretched out his muscles. [B] "Ahh, that wasn't smart of me."[/B] Achilles started to approach the fallen elf when he jumped back up and tackled Achilles to the ground. They wrestled around in the grass, both trying to get the upper hand. After about 15 minutes Achilles managed to get on top and held his arms down with his knees and legs. He held Dreadnaught in one hand and the gripped it with both. Spliting it apart into two different swords. He held them like scissors, he placed them on the sides of the elfs neck. [B] "Where did you come from? Who sent you?" [/B]The elf just smiled then spat in Achilles face, Achilles knew he wasn't getting any answer so he did what he knew he had to. He brought the two pieces together, severing the elfs head from his body completely. Achilles stood up from the body and walked back to his home, he reached in and pulled out rope and a pike he kept their. He walked back to the body and stabbed the pike into the ground. He tied the rope around the elfs feet and threw the rope over a tree trunk. He pulled the body up until it dangled from the rope, he tied it off and left it. [B] "Theirs food for the animals. Now the warning to the other ones."[/B] Achilles grabbed the pike and stabbed it about ten feet from his home. He took the elfs head and stuck it on the pike. This would serve as a warning to any other elf that desired to attack. After he did that he looked himself over and saw some blood left over on him, he groaned. [B] "God! I just washed these."[/B] He walked back to home and went through his drawers. He found a clean pair of the same clothes and quickly changed. He walked out of his home and found a horse waiting for him on the side. He hopped on and galloped out of the forest, Dreadnaught at his side and Achilles had news for the new King. He arrived an hour later at the capital of Fujin where Gale was, he moved off of his horse and made his way to the ballroom. He entered and saw the peopel dancing and having a good time, people at the tables enjoying small plates of food. Achilles found Gale in all of the confusion of the dancing people. Hw alked pass them and to Gale and shook his hand like any other and smiled at him warmly. His smile faded away when he said he need to speak to Gale for a moment. Gale agreed. [B] "What is is Achilles?"[/B] Achiles looked around watching the people. Then looked back to Gale. [B] " I was attacked, by an elf."[/B] Gale looked at him. [B] "Are you ok my old friend?"[/B] Achilles nodded. [B] "Yes, I'm fine. But he is now a snack for the animals and a warning to the other elves. How long have they been active?"[/B] Gale shook his head. [B] "I don't know, but I think we should enjoy the party while we have time."[/B] Achilles smiled and shook his head lightly. [B] "Well, guess you know how to lighten the mood. Lets go."[/B] Achilles and Gale went back to the party. [/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Kain saw everything any normal would fear, death, tortuer, slavery, slaughters, anything a man would cringe and fall apart from. He smiled as these visions passed his eyes. [B] "Good, good. Now push. Make the visions more aggressive."[/B] Alma hesitated for a moment but concentrated harder. The visions became more horrifying, creatuers unimaginable were tearing apart anything in sight. People were pulled apart like they were tissue paper. Buildings demolished and burning. Kain taunted her more. [B] "Come on, Scare me!"[/B] Almapushed harder and showed him a vision of Babylon, it was burning and his men laid slain across the blood socked battle field. The walls were torn down and Roman soldiers marched through the steets. Alexander the Great was being pulled behind a chariot. Kain saw the devestation and screamed, he put his hand over Alma eyes and pulled away. He held his hand there and took deep breathes, he removed his hand and stood up straight. [B] "Very good, I was right about your powers strength."[/B] Kain sat down in the desk chair and looked at the monitor, he saw his undead servents cut down by the approching Time Control. He smiled wickedly. [B] "They are coming." [/B]Kain stood up, he put his hood up and moved to where he was standing about 10 feet from the doorway.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroth looked Menae.[B] "Were not getting changed back yet. I could only get one condition out of the disiple, that was to get the phoniex put into our pen."[/B] Azuroth turned back to Chains. [B] "Well? Where is she?"[/B] Chains gestuered to the entry ay and they were carring a baby bird in their hands. Azuroth raised one eyebrow and looked to Menae. [B] "That her?"[/B] The dragon nodded. Azuroth turned back to Chains. [B] "Bring her here to me and your disiple will go free."[/B] Chains nodded and quickly mostioned for them to bring him the bird. They placed it infront of him and he lifted his paw off of the disiple and took a step back. He got up quickly and ran off. Azuroth watched him leave. [B] "Good, now get out before I get hungry."[/B] Chains nodded and the others disiples bolted out of their. Chains and soothsayer walked out slowly. Azuroth followed but from a good distance to make them feel safe. Even thought they weren't. He sat down as they stepped out of the pen and the door was about to close azuroth spoke. [B] "Good to see you again, Derrikait."[/B] The door closed and Azuroth returned back to the others.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

He was a skilled killer and was perfect for this war. He served under Gale and with his friend Chrysanthema, later two harmonizers came into the fight along the a kappa demon named Emilio. He served with them too, they later found Emilios father had started this whole conflict. Later on, in the centrel city. Achilles found out his father had been slain by Emilios father. At that point Achilles was going through a harsh ordeal with the sword Dreadnaught. During the wart he had charged ub to try and kill Dredick but was captuered, tortuered and imprisioned. Achilles died in that cell from blood loss. At the same time Achilles merged with his sword and then was born again. They fought and killed Dredick in the tower of his dark city. After Gale had been crowned king at the end of the war, Chrys had returned to her people and Emilio now the only heir to his throne, Achilles disappeared into the deep forest. [B] "Look familiar?"[/B] Alma looked at them hard, it was hard to tell who one of them was with the hole in his face but she soon realized they were the twins. His tone of voice suddenly turned harsh to the undead. [B] "Now go and slow them down. Be more helpful then you were alive."[/B] The zombies walked slowly away from them, Kain sighed. [B] "They will do no good, but they will provide enough distraction for you to get a little better Gin. Now keep practicing. And Alma, show me what you can do."[/B] Kain stood infront of her and looked her in the eyes.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuorht thought about what he coudl do, he could carry the disiple in his mouth but that could possibly kill him and there goes his bargining chip. He could wait for the dragon to wake up and she could carry him. But they way the dragon went down she would be out for several more hours. He could wait for the sprite to wake up but she might not help if the situation didn't meet all of their needs. His options were running thin and time was definatly not on his side. He also could not take his eyes off of these two or any other disiples. He didn't know which ones had powers and which ones didn't, he didn't risk that one. He knew the disiple was right about how his word was no longer good with out the disiple. He was out of options, he was about to let go when and idea had hit him. He didn't show it but it was something that would benifet them all later on. [B] "Alright, you win disiple. Under one condition."[/B] Chains looked at him. [B] "Alright. We'll hear the condition and we'll see. Now what is it?"[/B] Azuroth looked them over, making sure they wouldn't pull anything. [B] "I want you to transfer one more creatuer into our pen."[/B] Chains kept his face straight. [B] "Which one?" "The phoniex. Transfer her here and I will let him go." "And stop trying to kill us?" "That I can't promise. You never know when my animal instincts will take over."[/B] Azuroth pushed harder on the disiple, his chest about to give away. [B] "Do we have a deal?" [/B]Azuroth asked waiting for the answer, keeping the intense pressuer on the disiple incase he had to kill him. [/SIZE][/COLOR]

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Azuroths eyes started to flutter open, the snake head and vulter remained down but their eyes were openeing too. He made them stay down while he watched the disiple. He saw the disiple do something to the dragon. Azuroth closed his eyes quickly as he saw the disiple turning back around. He cracked his eye open barely. He could hear the other disiples hustling around in their pen. [I] ' Come one, I just need one of you to get close enough.'[/I] Azuroth thought to himself as he listened closely to the footsteps of the disiples. Suddenly he heard a pair of feet walking behind him. He heard the crackling of a shock stick and knew it was one of those disiples he had attacked on his way out. The snake head cracked one of its yellow eyes open and saw he was close enough. A second later Azuroth jumped to his feet and the snake head lashed out and grabbed the disiples arm. He screamed in pain and the snake head yanked him under Azuroth. Azuroth placed one paw on his chest and held the other up. Chains and Soothsayer saw it and watched. [B] "Let us go or i'll kill him."[/B] The disiple under Azuroths paw had a terrifying look in his eyes and the experssion on his face. Azuroth kept his blank, the snake head adding to the mans terror as it slither up his body and stopping below his face and flicking its tounge at him. The vulter head watching the other disiples that suddenly became aware of what was going on. Chains looked at him. [B] "Do it."[/B] Soothsayer moved closer to him. [B] "What are you doing?"[/B] Soothsayer asked without taking his eyes off of Azuroth. Chains responded with a blank face. [B] "He won't do it."[/B] Soothsayer elbowed him in the side. [B] "If he has to he will. He was sent here for purification because he attacked disiples trying to purify people."[/B] Chains kept his face blank but started to doubt what he said. Azuroth watched them. [B] "Change us back to human form and let us go. Never hunting us again and he lives. Other wise I can't promise his safe return to your ranks disiple."[/B] Chains took a step closer. [B] "What are you going to do? Need him to death? Lick him until he laughes to death? Your just a giant kitty cat. You can't do anything."[/B] Azuroth knew what he was trying to do, he had fallen for this trick the first day he was here. Not again. [B] "I can crush his skull in. Or smash in his lungs or ribs. I could tear him apart with my three heads or I could cut him open and bleed him out. Or I can take him up into the air and drop him. It's your pick. The long this takes the, the more gruesome his death will be. I promise you that."[/B] Azuroth saw him take another step and roared swiping at him. Chains jumped back [B] "Stay back, both of you. I know some of you disiples have powers. You do anything, I'll rip him apart limb from limb."[/B] Azuroth watched the two in front of him, the vulter watching his sides and the snake had his back covered. He waited for their response.[/SIZE][/COLOR]

I have a gay friend and he is pretty damn cool. Sure our interest are different and he does things different but he's still a really cool person. Kain's eyes were filled with wonder and amazment as the him looking at the wall brought back memeories he had lost. Combats that were right outside of the wall, the poeple he killed, the mens lives he had taken with his own two hands. He touched the daggers on his waist and remembered how many throats he cut with these two weapons. [B] "I remember."[/B] Kain said quietly to himself, the boy behind him looked at him oddly. [B] "What did you say?"[/B] Kain turned his head to look at the boy. He had a smile on his face.[B] "I remember everything now. I was a persian warrior. I killed me right where we stand and further out. I was one of the best, I had a small battallion of men I controlled and we were the best. These scars are from a fight with an assassin. He almost killed me, but I got him. I was taken by the doctor the night before we were suppose to go to battle with Alexander the Great. Best of all, I remember how to use these."[/B] He drew Kraven and Crushak and spun them lightly in his hands. [B] "Well thats damn great but what did you bring me here?"[/B] Kain suddenly lashed out with his dagger and quickly cut the boys throat. The boy was shocked and tried to speak, but gurgled on his blood and fell on his back. Kain stepped next to him and bent over looking him in the face. [B] "Why?"[/B] The boy got out as the blood drained into his throat. [B] "Because you and your damn brother undoubtly brought down the damn Time control on us. In their hunt for you and your hastey return they have found the Dr.s lab. You have ruined our hiding place and I have taken your life because you deserve nothing but to be in my undead army. Now die!"[/B] Kain quickly took Kraven and stabbed it through the boys face. He pulled it out, covered in the boys blood, a huge hole was left in his head. Kain cleaned the dagger off on the boys clothes and sheathed both of them. He pulled out the control and hit the digits. [B] "Now to finish off the other one."[/B] Kain said as he disappeared in a brilliant light.[/SIZE][/COLOR]
