Art It's Cute, But Not Quite Finished.(WARNING:The Pic is sorta big.)
Momiji Love replied to Momiji Love's topic in Creative Works
Thank you for your comments.Actually Revue, the writing is my printing. >.< I usually write in cursive so my printing isn't very good. And I was thinking about drawing the sky for the background, but wasn't sure. Now that you guys say it though,it sounds right. :p -
I drew a cute (I think) picture last night, and as you can see,the background is very...white. I have no idea what to put there, and could use some help. And if you would, please tell me what you liked best and what I could improve on next time. Yeah have you ever heard of 'spoiler tags' Kai123? You put those on things that could potentally give away part of the plot i.e "Spoiling it" .And your post pretty much did that for me. Thank you a bunch of oodles.

Phwoar.I luff candy to pieces. My favorite chocolate is Hershey's Kisses.I will buy a bag of them, settle down with a book and eat them for the rest of my life if needed.I bite the little top part of and let the rest melt in my mouth. Ah...heaven. My favorite non-chocolate candies are Sour Patch Kids,Gummy Worms and Happy Smiles,a cheap little generic candy that they sell at the local hardware store. But I mostly love Swedish Fish. They are the very very best.:love2: And cotton candy.Gosh I love cotton candy. Gosh all this candy talk makes me hungry for candy.

Weird Things Seen on the Way Home from...
Momiji Love replied to Tatsubei Yagyu's topic in General Discussion
I was actually walking back to school to get my bike (I can walk or bike and I forgot that I biked. :animeblus ) But anyways,on the way back to school to get my bike I saw the quietest kid in my school mowing an old ladies lawn. But he wasn't very quiet. He was singing at the top of his lungs, and when I came past the hedges and he saw me, he was quite red. But when I got to the corner he started singing again! I could hear him about 100 feet away. I was...interesting. -

Holy cats.I'm a Christian but thats fricken crazy. I don't have a problem with gay people. Its not like they can help being gay. There is no way you can change a persons sexuality. Some of the dress and hygiene regulations were absurd. No Abercrombie and Fitch I can understand. But who actually wears Calvin Klein stuff anymore. :p But goofiness aside.
Women: Women must shave legs and underarms at least twice weekly.
Is that possible without wasting shaving cream?
Refuge clients must be accompanied by a parent during any trip to a public restroom.
I would seriously be angry. What does this have to do with anything? This camp is borderline Hitler's "Final Solution" and cult-like thrown into a blender and combined.

I actually have never heard of it. :animeswea Is there any way you can describe it or something? It sounds sorta interesting.

Anime Subs (Japanese voices with subtitles) or Dubs (English voices)?
Momiji Love replied to Bloodseeker's topic in Otaku Central
I prefer dubs. One because I like to hear the stuff in my own language. Its easier to keep up that way. Also because my little sister and I started watching Fruits Basket in Japanese with subs and I had to read them to my sister because she is 8 and couldn't read fast enough.I was hoarse before the episode was over. I also get a little bit of a headache listening to some of the voices.I don't know why,but I do. Also because sometimes I just listen to an episode while I am doing something else, and its convienent to have it in a language I know. -
I agree with you.I read the first volume about a month ago and I thought the artwork and the plot-line were spectacular.I especially thought the fact that they immediatly tell you why Ed and Al are the way they are instead of saving it as a big secret at the end was nice. And Ed is pretty funny.I was reading parts of the book to my mum in the car and she chuckled a bit. I also agree that the manga is better than the anime, but they are both great.I saw only one episode (That Which Is Lost) and thought Alphonse was very funny. That little boys voice in a huge suit of armor makes me smile. Do you have any idea when the next volume is to be released in the US if not already? I borrowed Vol.1 from a friend so I have no idea.I really don't want to miss it. :animeangr

My first manga was Fruits Basket.I asked my friend Smed what I should start with and she said Gravitation, but I read about it on Tokyo-Pop and didn't think I'd like it.And then I saw Fruits Basket on the list.I was curious because I'd heard people talk about it.I read about it and I figured I'd take a look. And thats basically how it happened. And my first anime, whether I knew what was going on or not,was Sailor Moon.My friend Kayla and I were obsessed with Salior Moon when we were 6.We'd jump on her couch and pretend we were the Sailor Scouts.I always got to be Serena because I had blonde hair.Kayla was Rae.Now my little sister is obsessed with it because she used to watch it on Cartoon Network before it was pulled.

I was born on April 23rd,the same day as George Lopez, William Shakspeare and Shirley Temple. My friend Kyle was also born about 8 hours after me,early on the 24th.When we liked eachother (in like kindergarten) we said we should get married and we could have our birthday parties on the same day. My dad was born the same day as Dakota Fanning,my mom the same day as Enrique Iglesias and my sister was born the same day as Green Bay Packer quarterback Brett Favre.

Has anyone my age (14) read Instant Teen? I have just read the first one and have the second one reserved at my local library.I got through it very quickly (about 15 minutes because I stopped to get ice cream... :animesmil ) and started to read it to my 8 year old sister. She liked it.But its a youth rating so obviously. The plot was kinda jumpy, but its a youth manga so I guess they'd loose interest if it went into major plot details. Does anyone know if this will be made into an anime? And if there will be any reviews for it on theotaku,if any youth manga reviews.

I haven't seen the anime and I don't plan on it.
Ha ha.I quote myself. That quote is now false.I was sitting up late last night and I watched the last 3 minutes of Inuashya. Then FMA came on and I'm all "Oh neato!" so I watched it.It was the episode where the guys each get "stolen" somehow.(Al gets his armor stolen and Ed his leg) I seriously almost had a heart attack when Lust was talking to
and killing
the guy who gives Al and Ed the library information. Can't remember his name. T.T Does anyone know what episode # this is and if they play them in order on AS? PM me if anyone cares to answer. No one ever answers my questions.

What;s the most funnist thing you have ever seen?
Momiji Love replied to WhiteAoiFox's topic in General Discussion
My friends Ace and Dug (Katie and Angela) having adventures at the end of Ace's driveway,in the field across the street and in the road. They must be wearing pajamas.A t-shirt and pajama pants works the best. They pull their pants up past their bellybuttons and their shirts tucked in.They take their "baby blankets" and put them on their heads middle-easterner style. They wait until someone (preferrably female) walks by.They whisper "Lady! Lady!".They are happiest when she doesn't respond. Then they run across the street to the field. They do the dance Napoleon does when Pedro is giving his election skit. Then the play in the road until a car comes. Here are some photos, taken by moi . Thats the start of the adventure.Ace is on the left and Dug is on the right. That is in the road.Dug is pretending to be hit by a car,and Ace is "saving" her. And one more picture.Just so I'm included. From the left is Sir,then go down to the cut off face, thats Ace and the other is Dug. -
Anime Dating Anime Characters: Would You?
Momiji Love replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
Rikuo from Legal Drug.He seems sorta crabby all the time.I don't like crabby people all that much. And also Akito Sohma from Fruits Basket.I wouldn't date him
or her...I might have read a spoiler somewhere and I'm not sure.I haven't finished either the manga or the anime yet so...I really am not sure
because despite his sweet and gentle side when he is around some other Sohmas,he has injured others. So yeah.Split personalities are a turn-off if I've ever seen one. -
Manga What is the funniest manga that you have read so far?
Momiji Love replied to WhiteAoiFox's topic in Otaku Central
I have to agree with a few people.Fruits Basket is funny. There are just little things that make you burst out laughing. One of my favorite funny things said is in the 5th volume when Kyo and Yuki are arguing and 'jason' a "species of bear" comes up again. Kyo: "DON'T ACT LIKE YOUR SO SMART!! Who gives a damn if some bear shows up in a horror movie?!!" Yuki:"You really are an idiot" If you have heard of the I believe they are called "Halloween" movies, this is pretty funny. Other funny manga's are Tsubasa and FMA.I thought Instant Teen:Just Add Nuts was kinda funny too. -
Pity is not bad.But it is not good also.In some ways. When I think of pity,I think about when someone feels sorry for you and wants to say something to make you feel better.Sorta.Like Andrew. Our friendship started off as pity.He felt bad for me because I live such a sheltered life (in his opinion) and I he thinks I don't know much. But now we treat pity as a silly thing.I say I hate being stupid (jokingly) and he says "I pity you and your stupidity." and other things. Its not so good when someone says is just to be saying it,or treats an entire relationship as a big ole pity party. If Andrew and I never talked about things that didn't relate to pity,he'd just be the guy who feels sorry for me.And that wouldn't be right. It would make me cry more than I do when I think about things he used to say that would give him more reason to feel pity. Sorry if this turned out like one big, confusing glob of a story.I applaude you if you understand what I'm getting at here.

Mmm...blankets.I am always covered up in a blanket, even during the summer when its broiling hot.I have 7 different blankets on my bed including a quilt.I love to stay warm. But my most favorite blanket is my afghan. Its really big and warm and has horizontal stripes of different colors and patterns throughout it.My favorite stripe has light little pastel colors like those bags of mini colored marshmallows or rainbow sherbert ice cream. It may sound kinda ugly, but it actually looks pretty nice.I have no idea where it came from, but I liked and have been using it ever since. My second favorite isn't really a blanket, but we use it as one.Its my Care Bears sleeping bag that I have had since I was 5 or 6.My mom bought it for me at a rummage sale slightly used, but now it has holes in the lining and if you hold it up to a window you can pretty much see through it.But that just means its loved. Also like chibihorsewoman said,I have my baby blankets still too.A plain white one with silky white lining thats it very good condition and one with a bear holding balloons with my first and middle name, birthday and birth weight. My aunt made it for me.

I actually just read the first manga yesterday.I haven't seen the anime and I don't plan on it.Ever since I read all the Furuba avaliable in the US and watched the anime,I didn't think it was very good. But I only watched the English dub so... One thing that confused me a little was when Lust and Gluttony were speaking with whats-his-face (the guy tricking the people that his alchemy was miracles).Where did they suddenly show up from and what do they have to do with the plot? Do any of the other "Seven Deadly Sins" show up anywhere in the anime? Because the next manga is yet to be released. And did Lust kill him? It seemed like she did because I believe that Gluttony ate his arm or something.

OOC-Okay not to sound cheecky or anything, but when Latharix_sama and alchemist2120 answers for someone else, itsn't that called power-playing in a sense? But I am new to roleplaying in the OtakuBoards forum,so I have never used a "speed-up/less wait time" method. So,if someone could kindly explain this to me,I would be greatful-END OOC Minna was a little suprised at the girls answer. She didn't look too fine. But she'd take her word for it.Realization washed over her suddenly. She must be the new Sohma that she had heard about from not only Raze, but others around the estate. She opened her mouth to ask if Kokiro needed any help carrying her things to her room, but she dissappeared into the as fast as she had arrived. She shrugged lightly, and wandered into the house. She wasn't sure what she was going to do.Either go find Kokiro and see if she needed help with anything or to accomplish one of her lifetime goals. To speak with Si.She would stop at Si's room every once in awhile and knock lightly on the door.Sometimes she would come to the door, open it and stare at Minna when she said hello. But most of the time she would not answer the door. She wasn't obnoxious about her "mission" only rapping on the door three times lightly and none more. She decided to try to talk to Si.It would give Kokiro some time to settle down and unpack her things. She strolled down the hallways until she reached Si's door. She took a deep breath, curled her fingers into a loose fist and tap tap tapped on the door. She took a step backward and waited.
