Gaming What is your top game in each of these categories:
Zidargh replied to severous84's topic in Noosphere
Well I was shopping as usual and thinking about the most challenging PS2 game I've played. This isnt a favourites topic at all, just the difficulty of some games are huge. I'd have to say one of the hardest games I've played has been The Two Towers, in some cases. But I will not forget Grand Theft Auto III in some of its missions. I never play games on easy mode now as I dont see the point in playing on that mode basically. So what are your guys thoughts? -
Hmm I think that question was answered on the Mystic Quest scale, even though its not worth a question in my opinion.(By the way, the correct answer was 11! Ajeh came indeed extremely close, like bacon sizzling. Now for a question. Question!:*In FFVII* How many steps did you have to take in the Safe Room to get the final clue to help you open the safe? Whenever I'm down, I listen to this song for some reason. Well my dad's been playing some **** lately and it kind of gets you down to a low level. But even though I'm struggling I'm trying to fully understand the lyrics of this song, there's just something about it that makes me mellow and chilled out. I like quite alot of Hip-Hop for example, Ja Rule or something, but only a few songs. But I was wondering what you thought of this song if you've heard of it. I love th piano background and the backing voices, but overall I find this a great version of the song. *Tries to remember who made it* So what do you guys think?

This looks fantastic! Even if it doesnt get released here in the UK, at least GBA games (US) work on PAL GBA's. Then I'll just import it or et it when I go over to the US next year and woah, this looks grea. I did not like the Legend of Mana game as it had no plot, but I must raise my collection of GBA games, thanks for gettin this info and screen-shots.

Johnny. When he leaves, what is the first place you see him on. (REMEMBER, after he has left!)
Originally posted by Break After time, playing on a game with police that smart and with lots of little devices to stop you, they would get overly annoying and getting caught every time you committed a crime would start to grate a little.
Yes, but at least it adds more of a challenge and vaporises the boredom. I really think you should be allowed to get drunk and when your out at like between 2 am - 7 am, on the streets then you should be breathalised, giving you a chance to cause more havoc. Also terrain interaction for example, bullets leaving permanent marks on walls should be available, leaving more interest for damage while builders should build scaffolding and you should have the privelge of blowing it up.
Originally posted by Desbreko Okay, Zidane, just a few things... First off, no one is going to have a piece of the Triforce. Ganon has the complete Triforce, meaning the only time someone in the RPG is going to get the Triforce is at the end, when the group defeats Ganon. Please try not to abuse the ability to find and pick up items. That ability is one of the main reasons why I didn't just let anyone in to this RPG. Second, when you go through a warp to or from the Dark World, you end up in the same place, only on the map of the other world. So, if you went through a warp near Ice Lake in the Dark World, you'd be near Lake Hylia in the Light World. You can't just warp across the world like that. It'd make traveling from one side of the world to the other just a bit too easy. I except people to at least somewhat follow the maps. Third, Zoras don't eat minerals, lol. They eat fish, and other things that Hylians and other people would eat. Just thought you might like to know that, lol.
OOC: Whoops I apologise, I've been ill lately so I've not been focused enough to remember all this. If you wish to kick me out, do so. Hmm, though I'd be capable of doing this, I'll delete all my posts.

Well hey now, remember the game is HUGE. And taking million of peopl to respawn isnt like a walk in the breeze. I've had a weird glitch as for some reason, I pass a bridge that leads to 'Starfish Island' and there are cars that are stuck in the road but when I try to hit them, they disappear. Its happened twice but its weird. Also I've found that the helicopter keeps disappearing in the Hyman Condo for some reason. Its a good game but maybe put a population limit, which would make the game even more fun MWAHA! Cojones, you can easily get a 'Disk Resurfacer' from HMV. I'll look into that for you.

Hmm I think that there should be a Grand Theft Auto: Tokyo. This would be great living and dying inthe high rise buildings that make Tokyo. It would be an interesting change indeed but what would make the ultimate Grand Theft Auto is the ability to buy plane tickets and go to other cities. This would be a great opportunity to get GTA: San Andreas involved. it'd be the whole world version of Grand Theft Auto. But if San Andreas did come out, I think there'd be HUGE drug reference.
Originally posted by Zaeon Id like it if the police didn't always know where you are...like they had to search for you and put forth some kinda effort to track you down...the police are always some omniscient force in the games that see you no matter what you do lol...
Hmm well you have to admit, it does add a challenge. If you need a tip then here's one. When you've got a wanted star rating (It MUST be a low one) hide in alleys and you will find that the cops are completely oblivious to where you are. I think a nice effect would be that if you id alot of Vigilante missions, then you'll be given the ability to pay 'protection' money which will have you ordering the police to raid a specific gang warehouse. The list is endless, but the police do need some work.

All I can say is I was scared, lol. Well I was at some parts. To be honest, I didnt really enjoy this film as I found it quite disturbing. I dont have a clue why as I've seen things much worse than that, but either way, the tension was huge. I didnt really understand it at first but that doesnt matter. In my opinion it was an 'OKish' film.

I watched this film last night as I luckily booked tickets a few weeks before, but I have to say, I was on the edge of my seat through all of it. I was particularily impressed with the ents. The only flaw I found with this film was pretty much that Frodo's and Sam's part in the film dragged on a bit in my opinion, but it was still very original and played out most of what you'd expect, if you've read the books. In my opinion, Helm's Deep was the most intense and most exciting part of the film, but overall the film was extremely, and I mean EXTREMELY clever in how it was made. I'd recommend this film to anyone.

Right hello everyone out there. I need to start a thread about this because I've been having a haunting dream of this japanese man following me saying, ''WINNER! Player 1!'' I've looked and couldnt find a topic about Bishi Bashi but I thought I'd say it. This is not at all one of my favourite games but its madness is superior to any madness out there. If you want a great game of your friends against friends, then this is the game. I'm not a fan of these games at all (Apart from Bubble Bobble} but I want to know if I'm not the only one who finds this game hilarious. I find this very enjoyable with the variety of mini games stored in 'Bishi Bashi Special'. So what do you fans think?
-
Hmm I've played this about twice and found it indeed quite interesting. Although I witnessed a glitch that was something to say the least... mad. I was running along in the enclosed space of a very beginning mission where you have to eliminate 4 guards, but all of a sudden a guard walked into the wall and like had his head sticking right into me, and it said Game over! I dont have a clue why. I think its a great act of the producers as it brings back the practic of stealth and skills. Personally, I think it was a cover up thinking it would satisfy the people so then they could work on a 'movie' based game.

Welcome everyone, welcome to Zidane's lecture... lol. Well for some reason, I was thinking during the 'ole Helm's Deep process in Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers, just why all Black Mages have darkened face with bright yellow eyes that come out of no where. I've got a theory that Black Mages have been conjured ou of darkness to tangle the elemental logic of the universe so they end up pretty much... nothingness, with yellow eyes. I just thought this forums needed an interesting topic, so what do you think?

Hmm sounds interesting, lets see if I'm capable of entering. Name: Rebyn Gender: Male Occupation: Weapon Shop Owner History: Rebyn now in his early twenties has always dreamed to explore the outer regions of this world. Growing up in a military based town, he has seen the casualties of battle and the grief it brings. **October 27th ???** This date has always been recorder as a voice in Rebyn's head. Having his memory blurred of that date, he wonders why he has never seen his mother and father, and whenever he sees a child with his/her mother and father, Rebyn breaks down into tears. Rebyn has had some skill fighting off bandits and fiends in the defending of his town that has had to occur lately, but retiring now to a Weapon Shop he stares and wonders where he should be. A handsome young man with dark blue hair has always stood out in public as it is natural for those to have a light green or blonde hair colour. Rebyn has always been loyal but is now seeking revenge from that second defending of his town when his best friend was killed by a stray arrow from the opposing force. Whenever Rebyn sleeps he dreams of a beautiful woman calling him saying he is a descendant of some specie. Rebyn as you can understand, has always been trouble but keeps a positive mood...

Hmm, Break told me to check this out so did and i'm impressed. Though what can I say, I'm just a member lol. I've got alot of experience with RPG's, I doubt I'll get in, but its worth a try :). Name: Hydroel, Zephyr(Zephyr would be being the first name of course -_-) Fairy Name: N/A Age: 21 years of age as said by Ganon. (Zora years of age, if they differ) Race:Zora( Hmm I adore the Zora's reflexes so why not?) Character Class: Knight(I've never been too good with magic :)) Gender: Male Appearance: Zephyr is a slim, fit Zora. Bruised from the capture of his storage in Ice Lake from Ganon, he seems to appear frail at this current time. Zephyr's mysterious eyes seem to have a glint of emerald Green when in admiration of someone.(If I get in Ginny, I'll probably end up having our character's paths entwine. Zephyr has a puch attached to his thigh from his leg to store his items but has detachable fore arm fins. His fin appears to bend back. Background/Bio: Zephyr's memory has been blurred from the brutal abuse of himself, but he seems to remember witnessing a beautiful specie, similar to himself. Zephyr was brought up through the teachings of the Zora Kingdom but was never satsfied when in many years ago he saw a little child of a Kokiri form with an ocarina. Zephyr seemed to have been impressed with the child's dive for those jewels at the bottom at his hom but has never understood why. Zephyr is a kind and very loyal Zora with warrior capabilities but was baited as his love that he has heard her to be in this Ice Lake seemed to be taken here. But yet he is being kept captive in a magical block of ice that has transparrent mirrors surrounding him. There seems to be a creature below him, but when Zephyr was under the teachings of Martial Art Skills at the Zora's school, he has been meditating ever since. Zephyr has a thought at this moment, ''Where are you Fay?'' Starting Location:Ice Lake, Dark World Primary Weapon/Spell: Zora fins on his fore-arms that he can use as blades on both of his arms, or he can throw them in a 'boomerang' motion. Secondary Weapon: A crystal that seems to regenerate when near water that has been handed down in his mothers generation. Items: Zora Crystal, Bottle of Whale Milk (?), A Human Dagger: That he has found in his journey to the depths, Bladed fins. Spells: N/A only trained in hand to hand combat Well i thought I'd give it a shot. Nice RPG Desbresko.
Originally posted by BigCajones Ye that would be KOOL choosing your own gangs to join, but the nxt GTA needs more gangs compared to what Vice City had. I would like also to buy more buildings and rob banks. The police need to look different, i know they were spose to be based on the 80s, but they look like normal civilians and i get confused :S. I miss being able to beat up the old grandmas like on GTA3. I think you should be able to have more basic forms of transport i.e. skateboards, scooters, rollerblades, etc. More tunes on the radio, i like the idea of real songs - Billy Jean rocks! :D Children and pets to kill  What do you think?
Kids yeah, pets NO! lol, Children would be discrimination against the law, though it is funny how it is OK to kill adults or OAPS, or even Officers of the Law, oh well, doesnt look like this going to happen. But I'd hate the game if you shot a kid with a sniper rifle from a high rise building, and the parents scream which for one would make me jump, but the police wouldnt be ever off your tail.

Well I like the phrase Big Cojones! (What does that have to do with anything? -Break) *Coughs* Hmm, I thought Mercedes always wore a dress, and she had shoulder length hair if she would put it down, maybe its just me. I think it is to cause an attraction of appeal to those who will buy it trying to find out who that sex-appealing woman was, who knows. But if Neo Cactuar hasnt seen her, then none of us have *shrugs* :)
-
Chill out guys this isnt a Geography lesson. Hmm Swimming would be a definite YES! But I think that you shpuld have the ability to go into ANY building to hide out and have the ability to take cover and to shoot outside. Also like GTA 2, perhaps you should have a choice like to join one specific gang and when you're on missions you could hire 'muscle' to back you up, thats what I call a gang war ;)

Eh, why did you suddenly go towards and emulator in the first place. For one, from research, a PSX rom or PC rom, DOES NOT work. And why couldnt you just ASK to borrow it and I bet you didnt ask to copy it either. Thats quite rude copyig someone elses game. Youve scratched the disk internally by 'burning' it anyway, so there is not much we can do unless we have a professional programmer amongst us. *Looks around*. Oh yes to answer your question, buy a prowned PSX or PS1 if you want a better quality game in my opinion.:)

Hmm *Gets used to broadband* =). Well the console war eh? Funny how Nintendo planned to buy out Squaresoft which had connections with SONY which his a good example of a tribute to perhaps an industry 'war. To be honest, I've been dissapointed with every 'modern' console. i.e: Playstation 2, Gamecube, X Box (Querie on that point). Even though the X Box is the only console I do not own apart from the Drean Cast, it is the only one I have been impressed with in Gameplay. Games lately have seemed to fail me in my expectations. I only have 5 games for the Game Cube, 24 for the PS2 etc etc. dont know why, but I loved the Dreamcast, for example, SEGA actually put the effort to spend 2 billion yen on a game 'Shenmue', which apart from Final Fantasies and Breath of Fire, was the greatest series so far. From the beginning I was dreading the day until all these consoles came out, as I knew it would kill the PSX in a few blows, which I wrote an email to every company and complained why. Though trust me, I bought the consoles -_-;;; Well I do adore the PS2 but it is not the greatest of all times, for games, PSX rocked.

Hmm I read that this game had very lengthy Gameplay but I guess it depends on how you play it. On my list of games I want to buy or have bought for me for Christmas, it is at the top. The reviews look excelletn and I just cant wait to get it, well I hopefully should have it. I hope it is a lengthy game but thats a decision I'm going to have to make for myself.
