Here's an even easier way to gain the advantage:- First thing, attack for about 4 turns until you're comfortable and have studied his attacks. (You may need to level up first) Then, let Vivi focus for 2 turns, but as he grows his Black magic strength, get the others to use a tent. This has chances of missing, but if you're lucky, it should silence/blind/poison( I think) without giving Gizmaluke 9999hp. Although it can still give him 9999hp, but you'll have the advantage, and then carry on as usual.
Originally posted by Spikey yeah he sais he hates his dad.
Why would he hate his father? Perhaps he is angry, because of his father leaving him and his consience is always wondering why, and the confusion builds up into anger, that's quite deep actually.
Originally posted by ShadowGohan "To be forgotten is worse than death."-Freya FFIX I think that means that if you die, then... um... actually I dunno how to put it... but I know it :whoops:
I think what Freya basically means by this is, as her long lost love has travelled far away, she awaits him to return to her. But, as the years go by, she finds out that the people of or what was of Burmecia seem to lose memory of him, even though he was a hero. And she discovers that she will always remember him, but in her heart she wonders if he is still walking the planet of Gaia. Although you find out more later on in the game. I wont spoil it.

Ok, I have no problem with this being deleted if this is spam. I have been thinking lately and in Final Fantasy, there is alot of of sayings that I believe. Final Fantasy 9 is the most obvious one. From Zidane's motto, ' You don't need a reason to help people' I believe that. And one of Cloud's sayings, ' life is like a train on it's rails'. I think that what he means is that in life, life flows through, and stops in different locations. Which could mean a certain event in life occurs at that time. And when you try to take the easy way out (taking shortcuts), the train would topple as life has a destination. What do you think of any of the sayings in Final Fantasy?

Hmm, so Auron is basically the 'master' in a sense of the game? The way he knows how predictable people of Spira may be. And he's the reliable sort who hides his past. For the hiding his past bit, I guess he's similar to Vincent. As for Tidus, he must be quite familiar to Zell or Selphie for example. Does Tidus ever speak about his father, like Zidane does to Dagger(Garnet) about Baku?

Ok could I change the subject from gameplay in Final Fantasy X to another subject in Final Fantasy X? ---- Ok quite a while ago. In one of my magazines I have seen like calvary unit Chocobos with warriors riding ( I'll call this ''Choco- Back'') and a commander leading them so they're charging down a hill. Has anyone occured this part of the game? And if so could you tell me the basic story line of this event. (*Looks at CWB*) And also another thing I saw. (This was in Electronics Boutique). It looked like an FMV of Tidus racing on a sort of 'hover board', is this another sport the the people use of 'spira'(sp) to escape Sin?
Originally posted by Cloud but ya gotta remember too, magic users can just be normal people in the game... and you wouldn't notice them as a "black mage" or whatever...
That's very true. But a reason I would recognise a black mage would be by his large hat leading to glowing eyes. And immediately I'd think, VIVI! or another black mage. But that's a very true point Cloud. For example, Kuja uses magic or Aeris does etc... But seeing as the black mages excel in the arts of black magic, I think they'd take a good role on as a magic consumer and producer.

Still, as you you know. Final Fantasy X hasn't been released out here in the UK. But just to get me familiar with the game, isn't Auron, the type of wise character in it. Who knew Tidus's father, I know he wears sunglasses, has a big sword and cloak thing.

If you guys saw someone relevant to Final Fantasy. What would catch your attention and make you immediately think of Final Fantasy? Mine would have to be a Black Mage.
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy No problem Zidane. Wakka is the Captain of the Belsaid Aurochs. He plays for the team, but as the game begins is prepared to retire so that he can be a full-time gaurdian to Yuna. He uses a blitzball as his weapon of choice too.
Oh ok I get it. What type of sport is it familiar to? Is it like Dodgeball or something like that?

Just a few tips with Gau--- 1.When he dives into the ground after you've let him join you. He's learning enemy skills, so when you find him in a battle, DONT attack him. I'm not too sure what happens if you do. 2. I found him quite handy in boss battles, due to element strengths and weaknesses.
-
Originally posted by Crazy White Boy I find some of the boss battles rather difficult. Some of them require a lot of strategy or advanced magic spells. But goodness, halfway in one day? I hear it's a forty hour game!! Surely you're exaggerating just a bit....
40 hours !? That's quite short gameplay for a Final Fantasy game, but if alot of strategy is needed it'll be alot longer I suppose...
-
Hmm, that's quite a hard question. Seeing as 12's already in the making, depending on the feedback, I suppose at least 20.
-
Hmm, I'm sure you have to do something else before you talk to him again, my advice is talk to the towns people, then go back to Shadow.

The saxophone is ok, as long as your willing to do it. It's quite hard, and takes alot of breath but it sounds good. Anymore questions?
-
I'm too mouthy if people start one me :D, so I get into trouble with people. But noone really starts on me.
-
I play the alto saxophone. I'm soon gonna join the school band, there's no reason I play it though. It's ok .

I'm not a Sci Fi fanatic, but Star Wars is a great and huge classic. That I support, I've never been fond of StarTrek

Oh ok. I know where you are, You meet him in that bar, where he says my dog'll eat you or something isn't it? Let him or make him join you ,dont you?, and I think this is near where everyone gets seperated. I'm not too sure.
