Victoria Ann will be quite the pest as far as want to be a part of everything since even though she can't fly an airship, she's studied them quite a bit so she'd be attempting to figure all the controls out and making a pest of herself. heh[/FONT][/COLOR]

Everywhere they went there were more people who were heading towards the commotion that they were attempting to leave behind. It wasn't too hard to work their way through the ebb and flow of the crowds though it was a bit frightening as their faces were far from friendly and many of them rudely brushed them aside whenever Harrison wasn't quick enough to move out of the way. "[B]Those people are so rude![/B]" Victoria Ann fumed after the fourth group of people had shoved them aside. As frightened as she was by all that had happened, she was also equally fascinated and curious about where they were, even if the city was nothing like High Czenoble. Never had she seen so many plain buildings nor poorly dressed people. "[B]Harrison![/B]" She whined when he said nothing. "[B]I want to find Aunt Eva and Uncle Fonty![/B]" But Harrison's grip on her hand just tightened a bit causing her to tug on him and demand an answer. "[B]We can't Victoria,[/B]" He finally explained, calling her by name instead of his usual nickname of pest that he always used. "[B]Neither one of us are familiar with New Czenoble.[/B]" Harrison stopped at the sight of even more of a fuss going on in the street in front of them. Victoria was wondering how they were going to get through the tightly packed group of people when a huge boom sounded. She barely saw smoke when something invisible shoved both her and Harrison to the street. She barely had time to realize that people were screaming and running around in a panic when Harrison picked her up, moving over and attempting to stay along the front of the buildings to get clear of the panicking people. He didn't get far before yet another group slammed into them, this time sending both of them sprawling. Victoria didn't even have a chance to react when this time strong hands hoisted her into the air. For the briefest second she panicked until she realized that the one who had picked her up was the same person that Fonty had been talking to earlier, the one who had an airship. A quick word from him to hang on as he shifted her to his back and then once she nodded and had her arms wrapped around his neck he started pushing and shoving people aside to get to Harrison who was struggling to get up among the rush of people. A moment later he grabbed the back of Harrison's shirt firmly, pulling him to his feet and then ignoring his protests and attempts to pull free, he took both of them back over to the woman who had been with him earlier as well. “[B][I]You found the children! But where are Eva and Fauntleroy?[/I][/B]” As if realizing who he was with Harrison finally quit struggling a bit. "[B]Would you let go already?[/B]" He snarled. [B]"Eva got out of the steamcar and vanished when the first explosion happened. The Royal Police Guard said they would look for her so Fonty was trying to take us back home, but when we had to go by foot, we ended up forced apart.[/B]" "[B]Jack?[/B]" "[B]Come on.[/B]" Jack motioned to Morphia as he started heading down the street. "[B]We can figure out where the others are later, but for now, it would be best to get the two of them back to High Czenoble.[/B]" "[B]But...[/B]" Victoria Ann started to object. "[B]This is no place for children.[/B]" Jack cut her off. "[B]I don't know what Fauntleroy was thinking by bringing the two of you along.[/B]" Harrison quit struggling altogether, letting Jack simply steer them along since he seemed to know the place as he took advantage of back and side streets to quickly head in the direction of the Aerodrome. "[B]He didn't.[/B]" Harrison finally spoke up, wincing when another group of people pushed past them only Jack and Morphia merely forced their way through the group. "[B]What do you mean?[/B]" Morphia asked when Harrison did not continue. "[B]We sneaked into Uncle Fonty's steamcar during the party last night.[/B]" Victoria Ann volunteered. "[B]We fell asleep and didn't wake up until Fonty was already here.[/B]" Harrison looked offended when Jack laughed though what he would have said was cut off as they approached the Aerodrome and the area where Jack's airship was docked. "[B]Is that your airship?[/B]" Victoria Ann squealed in excitement at the sight of the graceful airship that was carefully tied to the dock. "[B]That she is.[/B]" Jack replied. Excited, Victoria Ann let go, nearly causing Jack to fall over as she got free and ran over to check it out, looking back only long enough to make sure the others were coming along as well.[/FONT][/COLOR]

In just a short while she would be required to present it to Jared, and though she could have just simply sent it to him she decided to do so in person instead. She wasn't sure why other than perhaps a desire to point out that in her opinion, the number of dead was too high. Something that she was positive was due to Vallon Drace's influence. After all that fool had blatantly killed one of the Representatives even though he had been ordered to take them alive. Pushing those thoughts aside Crystal left the infirmary for the closest lift, entering the destination for the Command quarters where Jared was presently located. She did not bother to call in advance, Jared had always made it clear that she could approach him at any time if needed. A moment later, the door to his quarters was in point blank view and Crystal pressed the panel to alert him that she was there. A moment later the door opened and Jared's voice could be heard, telling her to enter. Something that Crystal did without hesitation and then she moved to join him in his office when prompted. "[B]Crystal,[/B]" Jared smiled as she approached him where he was sitting at his desk in his office. "[B]You here for the report?[/B]" She handed him the data chip and then made herself comfortable in the seat across from his desk to wait while he read through it. "[B]So, in your opinion there were unnecessary deaths?[/B]" He inquired after glancing through the report. "[B]There's no need to answer that, after all, the issue has already been addressed.[/B]" Jared stood up to get ready to leave. "[B]If you have further concerns we'll have to discuss them later, I have an interrogation to get started.[/B]" "[B]You're going to sector one?[/B]" Crystal asked as she stood up herself. "[B]No, Commander Chevast will be kept here on the [I]Creator[/I]. It will take us at least a week and a half to get to sector eight, more than enough time to break him.[/B]" Jared observed. Crystal just grimaced with distaste, after all, she was familiar with command procedures, "[B]So in other words, Drace will be temporarily in command of the [I]Creator[/I].[/B]" It was a thought that did not sit well with her. [I]Lovely[/I]. Jared just laughed at her look of irritation. "[B]No, after he killed one the Representatives he was officially reprimanded for his actions.[/B]" Jared just smiled, after all, it was clear to him how much Crystal and Vallon disliked one another. "[B]Sandra will be taking over my duties while I focus on the interrogation. Once we arrive in sector eight, I will continue my duties whether I am finished with the interrogation or not. Though I am quite sure that I will be done before we arrive.[/B]" "[B]I see.[/B]" Crystal commented, unable to hide how relieved that made her feel. Something that Jared seemed to find amusing. Jared grabbed his hand held computer and headed for the door to his quarters. "[B]Just let yourself out when you're done.[/B]" He shot back as he took off. "[B]Let myself out when I'm done?[/B]" Crystal said out loud to herself. "[B]What is he talking about?[/B]" She looked over at the view in his quarters, the floor to ceiling windows that were all along one wall. Even if it was a bit excessive, she was always impressed by it every time she saw it. Crystal wasn't even aware that she had been staring out into space until the chime indicating that someone was at Jared's door sounded, causing her to jump slightly. [I]I need to get going.[/I] She thought as she moved to both answer the door and leave. But the moment she opened it Vallon Drace shoved his way past her, rudely shoving her aside. "[B]Where is Commander Scorer?[/B]" He inquired when it was apparent that Jared was not there. "[B]Jared has left to go and start the interrogation of Commander Chevast.[/B]" Crystal explained. "[B]If you really need to talk to him I'm sure you can find him down in the level one detention area of the[I] Creator[/I].[/B]" Vallon started to turn to leave and then with a narrowing of his eyes he turned back. "[B]Next time you get the bright idea to order the slaves under my command around, you had better make sure you get clearance from me first.[/B]" He growled at her. Crystal just gave him her most disapproving look as if he were stupid, trusting in his assistant's presence that he would not behave as he had shortly after returning from the planet. Just thinking about that was enough to cause some of the fear from that incident to resurface, but she shoved it aside and addressed him. "[B]Clearance? Have you neglected to read the file on Jason and Celestia?[/B]" She said mockingly. "[B]If you had done your duty, then you would know that as their doctor and the one who actually modified them genetically so they would live as long as we do, would have the same increase in strength as well as health, then you would also know what everything I do for them was approved by the High Council.[/B]" She put both of her hands on her hips and leaned forward a bit to glare at him. "[B]If you have an issue with my commands in regards to those two, take it up with the High Council since I am following their orders which outrank any order that you or anyone on this ship other than Commodore Sandra would give.[/B]" "[B]Sir![/B]" Pheonia interrupted when it was clear that Drace was starting to get annoyed with Dr. Matheson. "[B]We should go and find Jared to get our orders.[/B]" She cowered back a bit when Vallon turned and glared at her. "[B]Your orders?[/B]" Crystal laughed, causing Vallon to turn back to her. [I]He doesn't know that he won't get temporary command of the Creator![/I] She knew she shouldn't but the temptation to taunt him was more than she could resist. "[B]While Jared is dealing with the interrogation of Commander Chevast, you are to report to Commodore Sandra who will be assuming Jared's duties for the time being.[/B]" She couldn't help but smirk at Vallon Drace. Crystal was wondering what Drace intended to do as it was obvious that he was angry, but the one thing she did not expect was for him to simply turn and stalk off, with Pheonia hastily following along after giving Crystal a tiny bow. With a broad grin and another laugh to herself, Crystal left Jared's quarters and made her way back to the infirmary.[/FONT][/COLOR]

Only take it and apply it to anime, take three things in anime that if you could have it, you would. And of course, tell us why you would want that thing or person from anime. I’m not even sure why I’m thinking about this, but I was re-watching DNAngel the other day and whenever With becomes Dark’s wings, I always get the thought of how I’d love to have a pet like With that could turn into wings allowing me to fly. I’ve also thought it would be cool to have seven knights like Himone does in Pretear, giving you the ability to transform… though what I’d do with that ability, I’ve no clue. I just think it would be fun. As for a third item… Just about any ship that could take me around the universe would do, I don’t even care which anime it would be from… Well kind of don’t. I am going off of what I’ve actually seen after all. But still, I’d take my dog and go exploring if I had a ship. [/FONT][/COLOR]

It all seemed so odd, that is until she heard Harrison?s voice growling at her to get off of him. [I]How did I end up here?[/I] She wondered as sudden movement caused her to be shoved into the back seat of Fonty?s car. A few minutes later, after staring at everyone in a bit of a dumbfounded state, she woke up enough to realize that it wasn?t a dream, she really was in her Uncle Fonty?s car in some strange city. Harrison was sitting next to her, looking as if he were about to be clobbered and looking at how irritated Fonty seemed to be, Victoria Ann wasn?t surprised. After all, niece or not, she was not allowed near his car. But that couldn?t stop her from being excited and with a rush of excitement she practically bounced out of the car. ?[B]Uncle Fonty![/B]? She squealed in an excited voice as she threw herself at him and hugged him tightly before letting go and started walking around the car. Completely missing his look of anger and bewilderment over her actions. ?[B]I can?t believe it! So I wasn?t dreaming! It?s my first adventure![/B]? She exclaimed as she finished walking around the car and started looking around at the buildings. It was a far cry from what she was use to in High Czenoble. ?[B]Now listen here?[/B]? Fauntleroy started to say, but Victoria Ann in her excitement interrupted him and continued. ?[B]What?s the matter with this place? Why are the buildings so poorly made?[/B]? Victoria Ann wondered as she examined a home that was clearly in need of repairs. ?[B]They don?t even have room for a dog or a garden! What kind of servant lets a place get into such a state?[/B]? She turned back to her aunt and uncle with a questioning look. ?[B]Forget about the city,[/B]? Fauntleroy said shortly, shooting Eva an irritated look when she stifled a laugh. ?[B]You aren?t suppose to be here.[/B]? Victoria Ann just waved her right hand and made a scoffing noise. ?[B]Bah! That?s your fault Uncle Fonty! If you weren?t so stingy about not letting me see your steam car, I wouldn?t have needed to sneak in to get a peek![/B]? This time Eva couldn?t hold it back as she laughed out loud and then quickly suppressed it when Fauntleroy started to object. ?[B]There?s no changing what happened,[/B]? Though unlike Victoria Ann he merely stayed near the door and carefully avoided looking Fonty in the eyes. Victoria Ann turned for a second and stuck her tongue out at Harrison before turning back to her Uncle Fonty. ?[B]Well? What are we waiting for?[/B]? She said in a bossy tone. [/FONT][/COLOR]

XP It's just that I hate pretending to be something I'm not so I end up telling the truth even if it puts me at odds with other people. I won't go to church and lie and pretend I like it or even sit there and agree with everything the adults are telling me. I won't lie and tell my friends it's okay if they are doing illegal stuff, etc. I hate being fake in that respect so I definitely tend to be pretty honest. It goes both ways, even if I hate it, I accept that some of my former friends and some adults will have nothing to do with me because of those views. But seriously, if I have to lie to be friends with them... what's the point?[/FONT][/COLOR]

It was amusing since she found it rather silly, but still, after a while it was no fun and it was too soon for her to admit that she was feeling tired. After all, she was eleven! Not some baby that needed to go to bed already like Bertram and Pearl. She was wondering what to do when she noticed Harrison taking advantage of the fact that most of the adults were occupied to slip out of the Grand Hall. With a smirk she took off and followed him as he made a beeline for his room, slipped in and reemerged with his sword strapped on. "[B]Sneaking out again?[/B]" She asked him as he came back out, giggling at how he nearly tripped over his own feet as he whirled in surprise at the sound of her voice. "[B]Would you get lost already?[/B]" Harrison replied with more than just a note of exasperation in his voice. Victoria Ann just rolled her eyes at him. "[B]Oh come on Harrison! You're suppose to be older and smarter than me! Unless you plan on climbing over the walls, there's no way you'll get past all of the servants. Besides, where would you go anyway? It's too late to really do anything.[/B]" "[B]Not too late for one of them to come and fetch me in my room.[/B]" Harrison pointed out. "[B]True.[/B]" Victoria said slowly and then smirked. "[B]That's what you get for sneaking out all the time. They won't believe you if you say your tired and ready for bed.[/B]" Harrison just turned and stalked off, heading towards the exit anyway, ignoring Victoria Ann who raced to keep up. That is until the got to the main door leading out into the courtyard where the main gates were. True to what Victoria had said there were far too many servants and security for him to slip past. "[B]Great.[/B]" Harrison muttered to himself. "[B]You know,[/B]" Victoria spoke up. "[B]If you really want to do something fun, we could always sneak into the garage where all the cars are parked.[/B]" "[B]Are you stupid?[/B]" Harrison asked her. "[B]They won't let either one of us in there. Even your precious Uncle Fonty won't let you near one of his cars.[/B]" "[B]I know, but look![/B]" She pointed to some of the servants at the gate. "[B]They've got even the servants who tend to that part of the Estate helping out. It's the perfect chance to sneak in and take a look! I've always wanted to get inside Uncle Fonty's car![/B]" Harrison just chuckled at the sight of the servants, "[B]You're right pest.[/B]" He turned and went back down the hallway towards where the cars were kept. Unwilling to admit that Victoria's idea was a good one. And sure enough once they got there, only a single servant was in the area. He turned to face Victoria who was waiting patiently for him to make the next move. "[B]You determined to sneak in? Remember, you'll get in just as much trouble as I will if they catch us.[/B]" He pointed out. Victoria just giggled. "[B]No I won't, I'll just tell them it was your idea.[/B]" "[B]Even if you said otherwise, they'd blame me anyway.[/B]" Harrison said with a sigh. "[B]Anyway, which car is Fonty's?[/B]" Victoria Ann pointed to one of the vehicles further into the garage. "[B]Right, well then, don't go and trip over your own feet, got it?[/B]" Victoria nodded and then suppressing the urge to giggle some more, she hunched down and sneaked from car to car, hiding behind them to keep the single servant in the area from noticing them. In no time they were finally to the car in question. She tested the doors, finding one of the back one's unlocked. Slowly she opened it and both of them crawled into the back seat, and with a small commotion, Harrison shut it at the same time someone else in the garage closed a car door. The inside of the car was quite elaborate with plush leather seating and shiny panels of a substance that Victoria was unfamiliar with. "[B]Wow! This is really cool![/B]" She said as she moved to crawl into the front seat. "[B]Don't do that fool![/B]" Harrison hissed at her, grabbing her tunic and pulling her back. "[B]Look![/B]" He pointed to the doors leading to where the party was. A group of party goers, most likely on their way home had entered the garage. Both of them hunched down quickly to avoid being seen, Victoria covering her mouth to muffle the giggles as well as a couple of yawns. "[B]Once they're gone we can finish checking out the car.[/B]" She said as another yawn caught up with her. She looked up just enough to see out, missing that Harrison was also hiding a yawn himself.[/FONT][/COLOR]

"[B]Who's going to love what?[/B]" Victoria turned to see her uncle Fonty watching her with an amused look. "[b]This is for you Grandpa, I made it myself.[/b]" She untied the pouch from her waist and handed it over, waiting patiently for him to open it. Leonhart smiled as he carefully examined it before turning to respond. "[b]What a beautiful air ship. I don't believe I've seen this one before.[/b]" "[b]That's because it's my own design.[/b]" Victoria said proudly. "[b]I wanted you to have the first model of it and once I build it, you can be the first person to get to ride in it.[/b]" She finished. Leaonheart tucked the model back into it's pouch. "[b]I'll look forward to that then.[/b]" He gave her a quick hug. "[b]Thank you very much for the present.[/b]" Victoria just smiled broadly and then as if remembering something she turned to Catherine. "[b]I got Harrison to change just like you asked me too Auntie Catherine.[/b]" "[b]I saw that dear. Thank you for your assistance.[/b]" She replied.
