I ate The13thMan's liver with fava beans and a nice Chianti. ;)
Now that sounds tasty! Blech! I agree with the 'argue without thinking it through rationally' bit though. >_> Something I'm sure I've been guilty of as well. XP But since that part was obvious... [the arguing without thinking it through rationally bit that is] I figured I'd just poke you instead. :p
  2.
All of you should have stopped shitting on each other when this post came up but, Jesus Christ, you guys really must need an outlet for your hot air.
Sounds like someone is grouchy. :p Anyway, I see no need to legalize it either. The few people I know who got into it changed and it was not a good thing. I'd rather not see more of my friends get messed up by illegal drugs, regardless of whether or not it's supposedly harmless if used responsibly.
  3.
Okay, but that's like learning how to use the computer. It's already being done.
Not until it's been done. :p Using a computer doesn't automatically mean you have full knowledge of every aspect of said computer.
But there are always cases in which learning how to deal with it physically won't help (or basic tools of the Internet/computer). What about those site's moderation or administration doesn't deal with harassment?
But there are cases where it does, that's the point. ^_~ And for those sites that don't have help, that's where the advice on going elsewhere comes into play. Like I said, even if it's obvious, not everyone is intimately familiar with things, that's why manuals are written, instruction pamphlets come with new purchases and why even simple information can be useful. Whether or not it's been done before or not isn't the point, there are lots of new kids getting online, new people using a computer who haven't before because they either weren't old enough or couldn't afford it. I'm not saying it's a perfect solution, but I am saying that just because there will be times it won't help isn't a reason to think it can't help. And I know you're not saying that, I'm just saying that I am positive such information would be useful to people.
  4. Everyone was subdued as they found another route to the Command Center of the wayward space station and even finally obtaining their goal did little to lift the heavy feeling weighing in the air. It was insidious, tiring and whispered of failure and a promise of death. No one was immune and even the normally outspoken Nakeisha was oddly quiet, lending to the aura of despair. Colonel DeSouza didn?t waste a single moment as he immediately moved to access the main computer system, with Dr. Travis close by to translate when needed. Teresa along with Cameron was checking around the area while Nakeisha was attempting to access the computer system as well. A moment later the screen came to life and each person looked up to see that it was focused on the Argo Navis. A red tint overshadowed the screen and in the lower right hand corner a message was displayed, it too glowing in red lettering. There was no doubt that it meant trouble, using red for alerts seemed to be pretty standard among all the races, no matter where they went. ?Well that?s a problem.? DeSouza commented more to himself than anyone else. And he didn?t need to say anything for the message, unlike the instructions on the lift were in basic standard. The Argo Navis was adrift and on a collision course. And though he tried many times, DeSouza was unable to hail them. ?That?s not the only problem.? Nakeisha interjected. ?According to the readout here the center of the anomaly is in the main power supply. We can?t do anything here, we?ll need to go directly to the source.? DeSouza walked over and took a look for himself at what she had pulled up, but when he tried to access the logs detailing what was going on the words insufficient power flashed across the screen. A moment later all of them, along with the main viewer flickered and died. DeSouza tried several times to get it to turn back on with no success. ?All right everyone, you saw the condition of the Argo Navis. We have to get to the main power supply and shut down whatever is causing the problem.? He looked at each one of them in turn. ?We don?t have a lot of time and though it?s risky, the schematics indicate that the lift is the quickest route. At the rate the car fell, it?s likely that it?s too damaged to move again, but I can?t guarantee that it won?t.? ?Understood sir.? Teresa nodded and made a beeline for the lift doors, wasting no time as Cameron moved to join her in operating the manual override. A short while later the doors were open to reveal the shaft which was partly in darkness. Teresa looked back at the others, and then with a deep breath to steady herself she moved to get onto the ladder and descend as quickly as possible. Moments later as she traveled she could hear the others doing the same. Hopefully this time they would get to their destination without any mishaps. A tremor ran through her body, causing her to nearly slip and fall. Teresa shivered as she realized that the stimulant was wearing off, far quicker than it should have. She motioned for the others to pause briefly while she grabbed another dose from her pocket and quickly took it. ?Something the matter Captain?? DeSouza called down from up above her. ?The stimulant seems to be wearing off sir, I just took another dose.? She explained. ?Good idea, we don?t want to be delayed, everyone take a moment to do the same.? He ordered even as he shifted to obtain a better grip on the ladder and fished out a dose for himself. Then when all of them had done so, they continued on their way, their arms and legs tired by the time they finally got to the doors on the level where the power supply was. This time, they were able to exit the lift shaft without any mishaps.
  5.
In this case though, the victim and her associates were educated on what to watch out for. Unless of course, you count the fact that she should've watched out for herself. =/ But then that's like having those little educational lectures about suicide, and that's already been happening. No matter if they know what to watch out for, it won't improve much. Of course, the overprotective parents would probably ban their children from the Internet (or even send them to go to therapy and be electrocuted for "obsessing" over the Internet! (lol china)), and in the end, people would still be getting harassed, except more people would be banned from the Internet. And besides, it's not like Internet harassers are only harassing children and teenagers. It's bigger "fish" to fry, especially for those bigger organizations of "Internet bullies". Or anybody who TRIES to educate people on what to watch out for on the Internet.
I was talking more about what to do when it becomes more than just a simple case of someone being rude. From sexual predators to cyber bullying. Because sometimes, knowing how to get proof you're being harassed to hand over to someone like a moderator who can and will issue a warning is in many cases more than enough to get the person to leave you alone. :p I speak from experience on that one since some idiot was convinced that I was someone at a different site with a similar name. Sure I could have simply deleted the pm's since my polite response explaining that they had the wrong person only made them more vicious and mean, but it was more fun to get screen shots of said pm's and let someone in charge give them a warning instead. This was at myOtaku account by the way, not here obviously. lol Still, I never heard from them again after that. And before you say I could just ignore them... other than to delete the messages, at the moment there is no ignore function at myOtaku, so I didn't feel like constantly deleting the stupid pm's every day. You and I may know how to deal with it, but I've got friends who don't even know how to get a screen shot, so obviously basic information, even if it's obvious to us would be useful for others. Oh like my mom for instance, I certainly know far more than she does when it comes to this kind of stuff. If it helps only a handful of people, then its worth it in my opinion.
  6. Hehe, even though I'm for the empire... Council members are better. Mwahahahaha! Only 48 more to go for the New Alliance to capture and deal with! Uh I mean... You'll pay for that you rebel scum! Hahahahaha! Anyway, I have posted now that Vallon has finished with his task. Mean! Killing one of the representatives like that! XP Anyway, let me know if I got your character off Matt. Also... Why are the villains the must fun to play with? Hehe! :catgirl: And now that I spent way too much time on that and it's past time for me to get some sleep so I won't be a zombie at school, I'm off!
  7. It was with great relief that Crystal finally got word that the fighting had finally come to an end, the last of the transports and the wounded would be arriving soon. The timing couldn’t have been better as all of the previous occupants in the hangar bay; other than those with legitimate reasons or medical staff waiting for the last of the ships to dock; had been cleared out. Crystal was checking her handheld computer and viewing the updates via the fleet system as the first of the final ships landed. The troops were boisterous and loud, boasting about the victory as they dispersed and headed to their quarters. Even the remaining few who were hurt were in good spirits and whispers of the antics of the newest Sub-Commander were spreading like wildfire. Did you see how he dealt with the base’s Commander? One excited soldier was saying as his group walked past Crystal, she didn’t get to hear the rest as the last and final ship docked, it’s ramp opening up for the remaining few to leave. Crystal was considering leaving to head for the infirmary as it became apparent that there was little left for her to do, when a commotion caught her attention as two prisoners were escorted off the ship. The first a heavy set man with dark hair and a beard, a hopeless expression on his face. The second a brown haired woman with tears running down her face as they lead both of them away. But the biggest surprise was yet to come when a few minutes later both Pheonia and Vallon exited the transport. Crystal just stared at both of them stupidly, surprised that both of them had bothered to come up on the transport instead of using one of the doors to come back to the ship directly like most if not all high ranking officers would have done. All thoughts as to why they would have done such a thing were shoved aside when Crystal realized that both of them had blood on their clothing. Her reaction was instinctive as she moved to intercept them, already moving into a medical frame of mind as she observed both of them as they moved to look for signs of injury. Neither one seemed to move as if they were hurt, but still, it was her duty to inquire as to their health. Just as she would be doing so shortly with those who had been taken prisoner. Though that just made her sad as she would only be treating them and getting their medical information for the interrogation process. Crystal was almost to where the two of them were as they headed towards the nearest lift, when her eyes caught Pheonia and for the briefest of seconds Crystal could have sworn she was trying to indicate that she turn around and leave. But then Vallon’s attention was caught as he stopped and turned to the right to see what Pheonia was looking at. “Are either one of you hurt?” Crystal inquired as she came to a halt several feet from the two of them. Pheonia shook her head frantically, indicating that they were fine, but Vallon’s eyes just narrowed as he stared at Crystal for a moment and then motioned to Pheonia. “Go ahead to the bridge and wait for me there Pheonia. The Doctor and I have something to discuss.” Pheonia was obviously distressed but other than to utter a quick yes sir and to give Crystal an odd look she did nothing and left via the closest lift. “Now, I’d like to show you something Doctor,” Vallon indicated the closest storage area where replacement panels for the outer hull of the various ships were stored. Crystal was confused as to what he was referring to and then surprised when he gave her a shove in the small of her back towards the door. Inside were rows of the different panels made from the special metal all Versilan ships were made from. Once Crystal was standing with a set of them just in front of her she turned around to see just what Vallon wanted to discuss, but instead she let out a terrified squawk, stepping backwards and hitting the back of her head into the panels as she realized he was attacking! A split second later the disruptor knuckles he had slipped on without her even noticing, slammed into the panel just to the left of her face, close enough that she could feel the heat from the weapon as it almost grazed her cheek and then hit the panel with enough force to punch a hole in it. Terrified by the look in his eyes Crystal fought to keep her hands to her side, to not provoke him further, even as she wondered just what she had done to get this type of reaction from him. Her heart pounding in her chest Crystal pulled back as far as the panel she was leaning into would allow as Vallon brought up his other hand and lightly ran his forefinger along her insignia indicating her rank as a Commander. Crystal gave out a tiny gasp of fear when Vallon caught a handful of her tunic just at the base of her neck and then brought his right hand back until it was close enough that she could feel the heat from the disruptor energy. With a jerk he pulled her forward until their faces were mere inches apart. “I warned you once Doctor,” He growled at her, causing Crystal to shudder. “This time I’m telling you as a Commander, I won't warn you again.” Vallon finished. Vallon let go, ignoring Crystal who collapsed until she was sitting on the floor, her legs underneath her as she leaned back against the panel and watched him leave. It was a long time before her heart finally quit pounding and she was able to get up and return to her duties.
  8.
Preventive measures? See, I know Japan and some other countries are trying to do this, but I am very skeptical of this. Mainly because, like I said before, this case wasn't the only one. Internet harassment happens daily, hourly, secondly. And to me, these measures are probably going to be like the Prohibition Act.
Preventive measures don't have to be limited to going after actual cases, they can include education to younger kids as well as parents to help them be more aware of what to watch out for while they are online. So even if there is no push to create laws for punishment, I think it would be beneficial for quite a few people to be educated on what to watch out for. Sure those of us who grew up with computers might know better, and by grow up I mean actually spend a good amount of time online. But I'm sure there are lots of parents as well as kids who are clueless or at the very least aren't sure since they've never thought about it before.
  9. I've never been to the Festival of Trees, but I love going up to Temple Square. ^_^ I didn't get to go last year, but this year I will. I'm wondering how it will be with the construction going on though. Still I always look forward to that since all the lights are so pretty. And I agree, it just makes it seem more like Christmas if you go to stuff like that. :catgirl:
  10. Wow, that's just pathetic that an adult, one who is a parent herself and would most likely freak if someone was doing that to her own daughter, and yet she did that to someone she actually knew! Sick! She definitely needs some form of punishment for such cruelty.
Well then she shouldn't have tried to find out. There is a risk to "diving into the unknown". And I can't answer that question because I don't suffer from depression (or at least I haven't been diagnosed with it ;D), I'm not 13, and I am totally against love or likeness. But if I was in that situation, I'd probably just 1. ignore the harassment and go along with my life because there are more things to worry about than mindless insults, or 2. have revenge.
Uh, you don't suffer from depression and you're not thirteen. That really puts you in the position of not being able to relate to what this girl was going through at all. What you would have done is irrelevant since everyone reacts differently depending on the situation. What upsets one person, another will shrug off and continue as if nothing happened. Trying to relate, especially when your situation is totally different is kind of pointless since it's all to easy to fall back on the fallacy of "if it were me" which is completely inaccurate and not a good guide to go by. Try reading up on depression to see how it affects someone or even try to imagine how you or others you know who are only thirteen react to things. In other words try to see things from perhaps the girls point of view instead of your own before you declare someone "shouldn't" have done something. It's ridiculously easy to use hindsight and think someone was to blame when you yourself did not experience any of the emotional pain that this girl felt that drove her to kill herself. Allamorph makes a very good point about shifting focus away from the adult who clearly was the one who "should" have known better. Lets not be so quick to point fingers at the minor who like all minor's depends upon the adults around them to make mature responsible decisions. She was betrayed by the trust of someone who was more than old enough to realize that what she was doing was wrong.
  11. Well this is a combination of wish list and I'm hoping to get it for Christmas list. And yes the DS needs to be pink since that's my favorite color. :catgirl: Now for the next item, I already have the perfume Pink Sugar, so I'd love to have some of the other stuff to go along with it, like the body lotion, etc. I want the DS Lite and games first though. 12. I figured I'd make it harder for you guys to decide when it comes to the final cut. And since there are quite a few, I left it open as to who is my character's mother. You can even make her into an orphan if you want. She's not quite as bratty as Crystia's character, though if I get accepted, she'll drive him nuts by playing tag along whenever he skips classes and such. :p
  13. Name: Victoria Ann Almagest Age: 11 Your Position inside the Almagest family: Leonheart is her grandfather. Your Portrait: Victoria Your occupation: Student at one of the schools children of the Almagest are required to attend before they are old enough to go to CHAOS. Victoria is fascinated with airships and spends most of her spare time at the Aerodromes watching the ships come and go. Your Story: There's not much to tell really, I've yet to go on my grand adventure of exploring the world. I intend to learn how to fly and repair an airship so when I'm old enough I can leave High Czenoble and explore the world. Reading about other places is nothing like seeing it first hand. And I want to see things for myself! You could also say that I'm obsessed with airships as I've built quite a few models that I have on display in my room at home. Though I'm working on my own design since most airships are impractical in my opinion... Which is what Victoria is known to say when asked about what she plans to do when she gets older. From the time she was little, she has always wanted to go flying and explore other places. She often gets herself into trouble by looking for new places in the city of High Czenoble and New Czenoble to explore since she has no understanding of the concept of crime. She is not gifted like other members of her family, but she is smart and quick to pick up on things for someone her age and is unfailingly blunt about any topic that is brought up since she tends to think of herself as being older than she really is.
  14.
I mean because, if it wasn't, how can people say http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?id=230140 that's way better than: http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?id=230334 Or this: http://fanart.theotaku.com/view.php?id=224233 I don't mean to be criticizing the ones that did make it, but overall there are ones I think that should have made it in there in comparison. What was the actual criteria for the ratings? P.S. I wasn't in the contest, I don't draw >_> but I was just curios as a viewer
That's only your opinion, and as others already said, it would be hard and pointless to rig something like this. And based on what Desbreko posted I would think it highly unlikely. Also, the third one you linked to is irrelevant. The artist is one of the finalists as one of their other pieces made the cut as you can see here: Link! So it's not like they were overlooked or not even considered. They are a finalist! Just with a different submission! No matter how the representatives Adam mentioned choose or vote, there's always going to be someone who is unhappy since they didn't make it in. You can't avoid it. Which is probably why they had representatives from each organization vote to help make it more fair. So in my opinion, I would have to say it wasn't rigged. And how anyone could think otherwise is beyond me since as Allamorph put it what would be the purpose? And frankly I don't see one.
  15.
OH MY GOD I'M BEING BEATEN BY PREM?!?!?!?!?!?
At this rate, you'll end up being Prem's slave. :p Though I've never kissed a guy so I guess I'm behind as well. But then I don't care about that kind of stuff. lol
  16. Tickles Matt just cause she can! :D Also, who wants to bet that Vallon Drace ends up killing one of the three representatives that he's suppose to capture alive? I mean... >_> he was meaner than hell in that last post! lol I can see that Crystal is going to have to simply stun that fool and drag him to the infirmary for his medical checkup! :p
  17. Crystal wished that she had not heard about the New Alliance taking over sector fourteen and simply destroying the place. It pained her since never could she have imagined that Daniel Landers would agree to such a ruthless move. If I find out that he did so without evacuating the personnel there first... Crystal resisted the urge to smash something. In all honesty she was worried about Tessa, the genetic specialist that she herself had selected to work as the director of the facility there. I hope she's alright. The soft chime of an important update sounded and with a tiny start Crystal came back to what she was doing, cursing inwardly that she had allowed herself to be distracted by thoughts of Tessa and the other researchers at the facility, many of them people that she knew and had worked with at one point. Crystal pulled up the information with the critical update and then groaned when she saw what it said. She knew it was going to happen, though some tiny part of her had wished that it would not, but still, to have it confirmed just irritated her to no end. The reports on the incoming wounded from where Drace had already been through was as expected a higher percentage than normal. But then Crystal had been sure that it would be like that and was not surprised. She had heard about that little stunt he pulled when delivering the speech to rally the troops before being sent down, getting them all worked up before the battle. What a waste! There was no way in hell the forces down on the planet would have been able to stop us! Crystal sighed as she contacted the chief doctor over at the Conqueror as it was time to move into the clean up phase and save as many lives as possible and to do so meant that it was time for her to go and do what she did best, work as a doctor. "Commander, all resistance at the facilities where ship parts are made has ceased, as well at the planet where the plants are grown as well. The only place left is the main world where the three representatives are located." Crystal sighed. "I'm transferring control of this operation to you Doctor. Continue coordinating the retrieval of any escape pods as well as making sure any excess is directed to the Conqueror instead of the Creator. We are getting close to capacity over here and as such I need to go and oversee the incoming wounded." "Understood Commander." Crystal terminated the communication, pausing only briefly to nod at Jared as he left the bridge. If he was heading down to the planet he had been responsible for then it was clear that other than their location, it was just a matter of cleaning up. Crystal stood up and after briefly nodding to Sandra she left the bridge, entered the closest lift and set the destination to take her to the main hanger bay where the transports with the wounded and the troops were arriving. Within minutes she has arrived and from the barely contained chaos it was obvious that it was not a moment too soon. Without hesitation she headed out into the fray and with but a few quickly issued orders she took over, pulling out her hand held computer as she coordinated with the crew already there, working quickly to make sense of the chaos among all of the incoming ships as well as those departing after dropping off the wounded onboard. It didn't take her long to organize those who were already there so that she could not only take a moment to stabilize those who were critically injured so they would survive the short trip to the infirmary, but to also re-direct those that though injured could wait until the more critical cases were taken care of. As she often did, Crystal became totally focused on what she was doing, issuing orders, quickly patching someone up before sending them on their way while also making sure those who had brought the injured up to the ship were immediately sent back down to retrieve others who had been injured. Later she would be sickened by all that she had seen, but for now that aspect had been shoved aside enabling her to put everything she had into getting things done.
  18. Welcome to OtakuBoards Kasuke, just a heads up when starting a new thread. Favorite threads, asking what people's favorite whatever is, are only permitted if reasons are given for people's choices. Like what Rachmaninoff just did in his post, he gave reasons as to why he liked the songs. Simply listing songs without giving any reason as to why you like them is spam. Now since Rachmaninoff pretty much saved your thread by posting with a good example I'm going to leave this open. But from now on, please put more effort into your posts and to the rest of you who respond, remember give reasons! Thanks! Now as for the topic, Rach already listed many of the opening songs that I like however I will expand on the Lovely Complex one since even though the subtitles are in spanish it's still the original track for the second season. I like the fun feel to this song and though I like the first one, I like the faster paced rock feel to this one better than the one to the first season.

    The Ragnarok

Treisleilai couldn't help but snicker, earning her an irritated glance from both Illyria and Paraxis. And even though she herself was annoyed by what Raone and Celesta had just done, the urge to laugh just wouldn't go away. "Oh come now Illyria, Paraxis, stop looking so offended." Treisleilai smirked. "I'm sure the two of you will think of new dishonest ways to attempt to thwart how the game should progress." If anything it was in her opinion vastly amusing to watch and even if it was not slanting things in her favor at least it was funny. Charlotte couldn't stop crying as the Kaijin led both her and Patrick away from both Ian and Cho who were clearly dead. First her sweet baby Kenneth had been taken from her and now Ian as well. Even though she knew Marta would take care of Kenneth, it hurt horribly to not know how he was. "Cheer up Charlotte," the Kaijin told her. "I sense the power of both Jachym and Celesta. It is possible that Naomi might know where your baby is." "Really?" Charlotte looked up as she rubbed her eyes with the back of her hands. "We won't know until we ask, now stop your tears and move forward, we must get to your baby before Jeanne who was cursed is freed from where we imprisoned her." "What about Cho?" Patrick said listlessly, speaking for the first time since they had been forced to leave Cho and Ian's dead bodies behind. "I am sorry son of Illyria, it was not within my power to stop the arrows or rest assured, I would have." What Patrick would have said next was halted by the sound of female voices talking among themselves. Charlotte recognized Marta's voice and ran forward, ignoring the Kaijin's words to be cautious. Oh Kenneth! You're alright! She thought as she yanked open the door and rushed the surprised Marta who was carefully holding Kenneth. "Thank heaven! I was so worried when you and Kenneth..." Charlotte froze when she realized who was with them. "You! You're that horrible woman who attacked Ian and me before!" "Wait Charlotte!" Marta shook her head. "She's been helping me take care of Kenneth." Charlotte paused, confused over what Marta had just said. Why would she help Kenneth after... "Where's Ian?" Marta asked, causing Charlotte to burst into tears. "The one called Ian is dead Marta." The Kaijin explained. "He along with Cho was caught in a trap." "I see," Marta looked away. "That's a shame, he was a good man." She moved forward and held Charlotte while she cried. "You are most quiet daughter of Jachym and Celesta." Naomi just glared at the Kaijin. "I hardly need tell you why Kaijin." She spat back, not certain what to do as she was certain the monster was up to no good. She remembered Celesta's words that they had to destroy it if they could, but she still doubted that she even had the power to do so. "You must give me the child," the Kaijin finally said once they had calmed down a bit. "If I am to alter your destiny and free you from the Ragnarok, now is the time, before the Gods interfere." At that moment Naomi knew she had to stop the Kaijin, no matter what. Determined she moved to stand between Marta, Charlotte and Kenneth. "I think not. Celesta warned me that you could not be trusted and that we had to destroy you if possible. You say Ian and Cho were killed and I think you let them die." "Stand aside foolish daughter of Jachym and Celesta," The Kajin moved with terrifying speed, grabbing her shirt intending to toss her aside and then halted, still holding the front of her tunic when the stone walls of the room began to tremble and the ground began to shake. "I am not so easily dealt with." The Kaijin warned. "If you destroy me all of you will fall victim to the whims of the Gods." "I don't care." Naomi replied, not even sure what she was doing as she desperately reached for whatever it was that let her sense and control water. Somehow she could sense that it was going to help her and without understanding why she simply gave herself over to the power she could feel rising up inside her. "Get back everyone." She warned just as she felt it peak. Cracks formed in the floor underneath the Kaijin and water came flying out, slamming into it, forcing it to let go of her as it was sent flying into the air to hit the ceiling with terrible force. Then as the streams of water continued to gush upwards Naomi did the same that she had with the creatures that killed poor Charles, she turned it into ice spears that flew and pierced the Kaijin, sending it flying and pinning it to the wall. A wave of exhaustion overtook her and Naomi sank to her knees at the same time that the water began to recede. I hope that took care of it, I don't know if I can do more. She thought. The Kaijin seemed to be dead but there was no blood coming from where the ice had pierced it and though it hung limply, she wasn't about to go and check it. Naomi summed the last of her strength to stand back up and face the others who were watching her with surprise written on their faces. "Don't look at me like that, the Goddess of Life, Celesta told me that we had to destroy it. But I don't know if it worked or not. We should leave as quickly as possible. I don't have the strength to do anymore than that." Naomi walked past them, pausing only long enough to make sure they were coming with her before turning and heading for the nearest exit. Though what they were going to do next, she had no idea.
  22. And that people, is why I always do what my mom tells me. XP Well almost always. Oh how I want one of those cards! *sob* Still, that was awesome! :catgirl:
I know that a certain someone will not like this at all... XP But well played indeed, both of you. We are now down to a measly five souls, and with six gods (not counting Paraxis) still in the game, at least one of them will fall very soon, unless they manage to gain one of those lifesaving cards. We shall see...
Hehe, and speaking of cards... I should go and post and see if I can earn one. XP I really want another card! Anyway, I plan on having one up soon. Though it may take me a bit to get it to go the way I want since Rach [glares at him] went and killed one of the people in the post I was writing up in word, so now I need to fix it. EDIT: It was fun! Even if I didn't win I know I must have scared the hell out of everyone by getting seven death points in my first post and a death card on the spot. :p So at least I put fear into the souls of the other Gods! Mwahahahaha! It was fun while it lasted. Hehehehe! :catgirl:
  23.
.Oh I can see doing that, for myself that is. Well maybe in the past or when I'm not dating, but now? I would not do it. After all my girlfriend would probably clobber me if I did. Strike that, I know she would. XP
And I would help her. Smack you that is. :p Anyway, even though having money would be fun, I can't think of anything I would do to get it. Though I suppose the milk deal or other bizarre stuff like that might be interesting. Though drinking an entire gallon? I gag on drinking just a small glass of the stuff. Blech. As for more serious things like murder, sex and such. I just don't see it happening.
  24. Enter redundancy here: No it's not okay to beat her up, ignore The13thMan and anyone else who says so. Simply stick to the teachers and report her if the harassment continues. Enter next level of redundancy: Don't keep dissing her by describing her so negatively. After all the garbage you spit back at her I won't be surprised if she clobbers you royally at some point. Though if she's a bully then even saying nothing probably wouldn't help. Last and by no means is this advice since I don't recommend it even if it's something I would do if the following conditions were met. Those conditions being one: she won't stop after being asked several times and two: going over her head to the teachers results in absolutely nothing changing. Then and only then would I simply use pepper spray on her the next time she smacked me. >_> And yes I do have a bottle of the stuff. Mace is useless on bigger dogs but pepper spray? I carry that every time I go on a walk so I can keep a bigger stray dog from attacking mine. And yes I have actually had to use it once.
  25.
Nothing much else to say here. I definitely didn't misread a card and have to change my strategy entirely! -Shy
*pokes Shy* :p Also, Sandy! [insert ultra whinny voice here] Your description for the shield card was too vague! Does this mean it's permanent? Or is it only good for so many posts? You need to clear that up for me and the others. XP
