Treisleilai was bored. She was ready for the contest to be over, to bathe the world in sin and yet here she was. Still stuck playing Paraxsis's silly game. She glanced slyly over at Raone who merely returned her gaze without comment, she wondered just how much he had sensed from her. With an exaggerated sigh she turned away and back to the pool where the remaining mortals were. When Jamie came to finally, Cho was no where to be seen. At first he thought that perhaps she had just wandered off to explore a bit, but the longer he was awake, the more panicked he became as he hunted frantically for her. Running from one transport point to the next until he was on the largest island. Easily dwarfing all of the other floating islands with tall mountains in the center and a huge stream running from the mountains and over to the edge before falling over the edge. To the right was what appeared to be an abandoned Crystal city. Vastly different than the one of marble he had found himself in, but for some reason, he turned and headed up a small path towards the mountains. Perhaps if I get up a little higher I can see where she went. Jamie was worried sick that something or someone had gotten to her. Nagging at him even deeper was the thought that as beautiful as she was, someone had taken her for themselves. It was a thought that made him angry just to think about it. No one could love her as much as he did. Jamie was working himself into a bit of rage and panic when he came across the little girl he had seen earlier and the teenager coming down the mountain path. They halted up seeing him uncertain as to what to do, something that Jamie mistook for them to be hiding something from him. "Where is she?" He demanded. "What are you talking about?" Patrick said warily, worried about the hostile tone to his voice. "Don't play stupid with me, you saw the woman standing next to me when we first met." "Well true," Patrick said hesitantly. "But why do you think we know where she is?" "I don't know where Cho is." Kirima replied as she looked to Patrick to see what to do, confused by how insistent the unknown man was about finding Cho. Jamie grabbed Kirima by the arms, shaking her in his eagerness to find Cho. "I knew it! You do know her! Where did you see her last?" But Kirima wasn't listening as she tried to pull free. "Let go mister! You're hurting me!" "What's the matter with you?" Patrick yelled as he tried to pry Jamie's hands open. But Jamie was too focused on finding Cho, he turned only slightly to let go with his right hand and swiftly deliver a blow just beneath Patrick's chin, sending him sprawling on the ground, half dazed from the blow. He turned back just as Kirima was grabbing his arm holding her to bite down hard. With a startled oath he let go before shoving her to the ground. "You're a bad man!" Kirima screeched as she got up and ran over to Patrick. "I told you I don't know where she is! Patrick and I woke up alone in the temple on the mountain." "Where is the temple?" Jamie asked her. "It's further up the path." Kirima said warily as she watched him. And then when he left to head up the mountain path she turned back to Patrick who was starting to sit up.

Hot chicks love nerds, we just don't know how to tell them we love them too. It isn't really that hard to learn you know.
Uh, no. Nerd or not being a nerd/geek has nothing to do with it. We don't love a guy just because they are a nerd or a geek. XP
Not true. I think a lot of times girls are drawn to nerds but we're ignorant of that fact, and end up chasing them away with the less beneficial nerd tenancies.
If you're ignorant of the fact... Then how would you even know? Most nerds at my school are not chased by the girls at all.
Though I don't see why you would mention the virginity deal in a thread like this, when picking out a GF that should be the last thing on your mind.
Well DB has it in the wrong context, but where I live? The major religion frowns upon girls who are not a virgin. So to some guys that's beyond important, painfully so. When they get older they won't even marry a girl who isn't a virgin, even if they aren't one themselves.

I don't have any online gaming sites that I visit, well other than some official sites to see what's coming out. As for other sites, obviously I come here every day, though I usually check my e-mail first. Then I sort of wander around and check out theOtaku and the fansub sites that I frequent. Overall, I spend most of my time here since once I'm done I usually log off and go read, play games or do something else. Something I'll probably be doing shortly since I got a new book the other day and I haven't started reading it yet.

Crystal had every intention of forcing Sub-Commander Vallon Drace to submit to the required medical check up. But with the upcoming battle in mind, she had found herself far busier than she would have ever expected in getting ready. Ever since they had left for sector seven she had been completely caught up in the preparations for the rescue and medical side of the battle. Assigning teams to the small pick up ships for retrieving escape pods and for boarding any ships that surrendered. Making sure all supplies were in battle readiness. The list just went on and on. It was the first time she had been put in charge of overseeing the entire battle in that respect and she quickly learned that setting things up for two flag ships in addition to all the other ships was a massive project. Not that it was hard, since all medical personal were trained for such eventualities, it just wasn't often that one had enough advanced time to really set things up. Fortunately they were almost finished, which was a good thing since they would be arriving in only a few days. "Doctor, I need your help with something." Crystal looked up as her assistant entered her office. "What did you need?" "Well, it's the authorization for using the smaller light weight transport ships for doing the pick ups. It hasn't been approved like it should have." She handed Crystal a data chip. Curious as to why it wasn't approved, Crystal inserted the chip into her hand held computer and pulled up the file. It was true that the smaller light weight transport ships weren't standard for emergency pick ups. But once she had noticed that they were simply sitting and not being used for the battle, she saw no reason why they couldn't be used instead of the standard pick up ships. They were quicker, had better shielding and using them would help to reduce the danger to the medical crews being sent out. Crystal narrowed her eyes in anger when she saw the reason why it had been denied. I think not. She thought angrily as she closed her hand held computer and stood up. This was one thing she would not stand still for. "I'll take care of it." Crystal said irritably as she started to walk past her assistant. "You keep working on the preparations based on having the better ships at our disposal." She did not bother to wait for a reply as she tucked her hand held computer into her right side pouch. Instead she marched out of the infirmary and straight to the closest lift. Crystal chose the destination that would take her to where the bridge was located, choosing the selection and then she stood there, tapping her foot in anger on the floor while the lift took her to the passageway just outside the bridge. Crystal did not hesitate, instantly heading inside the bridge, ignoring the security and deck officers as she immediately headed for where Jared was seated. Upon reaching his location she then also saw that Drace was there as well, something that only irritated her even more. "Jared, I need to talk to you." Crystal stated the moment she was close enough for Jared to realize that she was there. "What can I do for you Crystal?" Jared asked even as he favored her with a smile. Crystal took out the chip that her assistant had given her and tossed it to Jared who deftly caught it. "You can start by explaining to my satisfaction why that request was denied. I see no reason why I can't use those ships when they are going to be sitting there doing nothing during the battle." She waited patiently while Jared read through the request and the denial, switching between watching Jared and Drace, who was nonchalantly standing there as if nothing important was being discussed. Why that smug little... Jared finished reading the report and looked up, "I'd be interested in knowing why it was turned down as well actually." He fixed Drace with a glance. "I understand the reasoning behind the ships being more costly to use than the standard pick up ships, however, I see no reason why using them would be an issue either." Drace merely shrugged a tiny bit, "Using them was not the issue sir, as I stated in the response, such a change requires higher authority than I posses, reassigning ships from their intended purpose is not something to be done lightly." "This is true, however, you could have simply forwarded the report to me Sub-Commander Drace." Jared pointed out. "I was not aware that something as trivial as a slight improvement for medical teams was worthy of your time Commander." Drace said formally. "After all the difference between the ships is hardly worth noting." "Only to the one who is receiving assistance Sub-Commander." Crystal said icily. "As well as those risking their lives to see that they get the care that they need." "Then it's settled. I'll put in the necessary authorization for you to use the ships Crystal." Jared assured her. "Thank you Jared. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to finish with the trivial medical preparations for the upcoming battle." Crystal shot yet another irritated glance at Drace as the sarcasm of that statement was directed solely at him. She didn't wait for Jared or Drace to say anything else, without another word she turned and stalked off the bridge to head back to the infirmary. Her movements still betraying her irritation. Sure Drace had followed procedure, there was nothing to fault with the denial of her department's request. But at the same time, it was clear that dealing with him was going to be more than the simple irritation of getting him into the infirmary for his required checkup.

Well the idea was to talk about things that happened when you yourself were a teenager, things that at that point made you feel old or older. :p I'm not talking so much about physical age as I am more of a mental perception of growing older. ^_~ That's why I titled the thread: Things that make you feel old. Since I'm sure for each decade, from the teen years, to the twenties to the thirties, etc. They all probably have unique things to them that might make one feel old. lol

Major Cameron James was not happy, training or not, the empty space station was giving him the creeps. Especially since he had broken off from Dr. Nakeisha Rhodes and Lt. Morrison Vayne to check out the large theater located between a couple of the shops. It looked to him as if someone had filled up the entrance to the theater with a type of insulation often found lining the outer walls of any space station. It was a move that quite frankly puzzled him. He shifted a bit as he repositioned the Thunderbolt rifle as he opened the door to go inside and take a look. The moment he opened the door, the god awful smell of rotting stores hit him in full force making him gag a bit and then cough as it felt as if something was getting into his throat. "Ugh. Damn if that isn't nasty," he said to himself as he held up the small compact flashlight to flood the area with it's light. It was no bigger than a common playing card and only an inch think, but the powerful beam cut through the darkness caused by the insulation that had been used to cover the windows of the theater. A moment later he found the panel for switching the lights on and did so. Cameron turned off the flashlight and slipped it back into it's designated pocket on the outside of his small backpack. The unearthly silence of the place as he headed for the doors leading into where the actual screen and stage would be was unnerving, and the further he went, the more he noticed that all of the outer edges of the building had been coated on the inside with the insulation. "What in the world were they thinking?" He wondered aloud. "Why would they apply the insulation on the inside of a theater?" Cameron shook his head as he moved to open the door leading to the actual theater room, once again he shifted his rifle so that he could open the doors, but this time as he did so the sight that met his eyes caused him to choke in horror and take a step backwards. "Oh my God." He exclaimed, even as he covered his mouth in a futile attempt to quell the stench. Only his training and sense of duty kept him from throwing up on the spot. The room was full of what had to have been the occupants of the space station. All of them huddled together in what appeared to be a futile attempt to stay warm. Their bodies though in a state of decay, were covered with layers and layers of clothing. Something that made no sense whatsoever. Even if the space station was operating on standby, it would not have gotten cold enough to cause hypothermia. Cameron pulled out a communicator and contacted the Colonel immediately. "Sir, I've found the inhabitants of the space station." He said. "I'm afraid that they're all dead sir." "What was the cause of death Major?" DeSouza inquired. "I'm scanning right now sir so I can check with Dr. Sanderson, but by the looks of it, they died from hypothermia." Cameron opened up a dual channel and contacted Dr. Sanderson. "Doctor, I need you to check a scan for me. I'm sending it to you now. It says that the inhabitants of the space station died from hypothermia but I find that hard to believe." Cameron explained even as he sent the data to Sanderson. A moment later she responded, "No, the scan is correct, but that's not the real problem. There's just no way that a space station would drop enough in temperature for someone to die of hypothermia. Instead it would drop enough that they would freeze to death. And there is no indication of that kind of damage to the body you scanned. Also, there's another problem. That scan indicates that whoever it is, they haven't been dead more than a few months. It's recent." "I see, thank you doctor." Cameron ended the transmission. "Well Colonel?" He asked since he had forwarded the information to DeSouza. "Finish checking your area and join us at the lift." "Understood sir." Cameron turned his communicator off. Quickly he left the theater, eager to leave the ugly sight of the dead people behind. If what the doctor had said was true, then how in the world had they managed to die from hypothermia of all things? Cameron couldn't help but shiver just a tiny bit as he hastily left the theater and went to join up with Vayne and Rhodes.

Sorry about that. EDIT: And it's up, as you can see I have taken over Sakura's character due to her lack of participation. So from now on I will be controlling both Captain Teresa Schovick and Major Cameron James.

It's simple really, the further you get into your teenage years... the older it seems that you start to feel. Or rather in my case, it seems that certain changes are what make me feel like I'm getting old and losing my childhood, more that turning fifteen ever did. I'll start with a few things that make me feel old, like I've lost that sparkle of innocence that being a kid had to offer. The first offender would be taking English classes. Even though I absolutely adore reading, I positively hate spelling and grammar, it's like it takes something so mystical and fun to read and attempts to change it into rules. I like rules, but for the more logical subjects like Math. English just seems like it's something that's not suppose to make sense. And yes I know that made no sense, I just hate English classes! lol The other thing that makes me feel old? Girly stuff. I have never ever been into to things like make up, perfume, frilly things, etc. About the only exception to that is that I love the color pink. XP There's just something wonderful about pink. But the rest of the so called girly stuff? Blech. That is until back in August when I finally found a perfume that I actually like. Well to be honest... I'll blame Beth since she's the one who gave me a little sample of the stuff. And what makes it worse, the name is cute too. Pink Sugar. I love how it smells. So what things made you feel old and why? I'm sure once this gets going I'll think of other things that basically made me feel like I was growing up to fast. lol That I was getting old. XP

I have a new whine, even though the official day is over... It's simple really... people who take silly fun stuff on the Internet too seriously as if it were a homework assignment. >_< I just want to reach through the screen and toss them into a swimming pool and tell them to lighten up and just have fun. I say it's Charles's fault that members are being driven away and that OtakuBoards is dying! Oh how the great Charles has fallen! :p If he'd get back into action, threatening to ban 2007DigitalBoy if there aren't any new Otakupedia articles and using some of those legendary picture posts that he does... I can't even manage to get a card let alone kill anyone! :animesigh I'm the only one who hasn't managed to get a card either way. Honestly, it's a little depressing. I gain points and then lose them due to the one cancels out the other deal, and I seem to suck at guessing the right actions that would even earn points.
Don't feel bad. XP I'm thinking it's almost a matter of luck in guessing the right type of actions. I have four posts and two of them? I didn't earn any points or I did what you're talking about, got both and as a result they canceled each other out. When you don't get anything, it kind of sucks the motivation out of you as far as posts go. Though I'm going to try and come up with another one. Treisleilai yawned, ignoring the squabbling that was going on. Oh how boring that the one called Christopher is dead. And just when things were getting more interesting. She stretched and yawned again, even though she really wasn't tired, just bored. She looked at the card of her power that was now once again within her hands. "What a waste your power is Treisleilai," Telumas commented. "It can do nothing but cause death and destruction." But Treisleilai just smiled. "But of course, sin destroys everything, creating the most beautiful and wonderful of sounds of pain, misery, and self-deception. Mortals do not need my help to do that." She smiled mysteriously. "It looks like the next phase of the Ragnarok has begun, I wonder how many souls will fall this time." Treisleilai turned and with a well placed toss, put her power back into pool. She watched as her next target was hit by the power of Bloodlust. One moment Ash was facing the group of people and then in the next whatever had been forming slammed into place, separating him from the others, leaving him with Jamie and the woman he had run into earlier. All around them were solid walls, as they were literally trapped in a square shaped room that was about twenty feet wide, long and high. Then before he could wonder what to do or how there was light coming in through walls that seemed to be solid, a single door appeared in each wall. And above each door was a different symbol. He didn't recognize it at all. Then as he was turning to see what the others were doing something seemed to hit him. It was more of a feeling really, one that reminded him of all the hours he had spent at the beach house with so many different lovely ladies. Since he had come here, each night had been one of isolation and Ash hated isolation. He preferred to be in the company of lovely women, dining, talking, watching the sunset, all before spending the night in more amorous affairs. For a moment he was taken aback by the strong feeling of giving into that desire. This is hardly the place or time for this! Ash thought but the feelings would not be dismissed so easily. "Why the hell are you still here? I already said I won't work with someone who would manhandle a woman. I suggest you leave." Jamie indicated the door behind Ash. "Why should I leave? Gods, you're such an asshole. If you hadn't helped me earlier I'd knock your lights out." Ash said angrily. "If I had known what a jerk you are, I wouldn't have helped you." Jamie said even as he took a step forward and shoved Ash. "That does it." Ash snapped. He moved to hit Jamie in return, but missed when Jamie moved to avoid the blow. Jamie hadn't been working in a bar all that time with out picking up a few tricks, the moment Ash lashed out he moved to the right and then swiftly punched Ash in the stomach, causing him to double over. He grabbed the front of his shirt and forced him back up before punching him hard in the face, causing Ash to stagger backwards. "Stop it!" Cho screamed. But neither one was listening. Ash rushed Jamie, grabbing him around the waist and forcing him backwards at a swift pace until he let go at the last moment and slammed him into the wall. Only to double over in pain when Jamie took advantage of the position to bring his right knee up, hitting him right between the legs. Ash fell to the ground with a groan, lying on his right side, cringing when he saw Jamie moving to kick him. I don't believe it, first he heals me and now he's beating me up. But the kick never connected as the woman grabbed his right arm and pulled him away, pleading for him to stop. "Jamie! That's enough!" She said. With a grunt of disgust Jamie stopped. "Fine you're not worth my time away." He turned and reached out to take the woman's hand. "Shall we go?" He asked her, even though he didn't wait for a reply. With a tug, he pulled her along and both of them left out one of the doors, leaving Ash still lying on the floor.

Like today, I came on and there's been no new threads since yesterday, only one or two new posts (at least the RPGs are running...) and then there was a post in two of my threads that I made yesterday which I got all excited about... only to find out that it was some random spammer who both times just said 'what are you talking about?' I hope both of you feel better soon. I only wish I had the whole week off like Rach and Crystia do. Treisleilai ignored the others, she was too busy planning her next move. Though the removal of one of the souls had been done, she had not advanced her position beyond the death of the soul, and even that was not guaranteed. Since some of them had manipulated the souls in a manner to earn the right to reverse death. Let the others squabble among themselves for now, she would focus on advancing her position in the game. "I think you've had enough Marta," Joe said as he attempted to take the bottle of liquor from her. "I'll tell you when I've had enough!" Marta growled, her speech slurred. She attempted to toss the nearly empty bottle at Joe, but her coordination was not what it should be and the bottle hit the wall and with a clatter fell to the floor, spilling what was left on to the rich rug on the floor. "Marta," Joe said in a pained voice. "We'll find a way to undo what happened to you." Though how they would manage to reverse Marta's current condition of her flesh rotting he didn't have a clue. "Don't lie to me." Marta cried, standing up to go and look for another bottle in the kitchen. If only she hadn't killed. Over the years she had convinced herself that it was an act of rage, of passion. But now she was no longer sure. "Marta," Joe got up from the table they had been sitting at to stand between her and the entrance to the kitchen. "Don't do this, think about your family back home." "My family?" Marta laughed. "My husband was nothing more than a cheat! Sleeping with other women who were younger and more beautiful than I am." She laughed even more hysterically, "I took care of that though. He'll never cheat on anyone again." Joe flinched at her words, surely she wasn't saying... "That's right." Marta said to his unspoken look. "I killed him. When I found him in bed with someone else when I came home, I lost it. The next thing I knew I was standing over his lifeless body, holding this." She pulled out the bloody knife that she had grabbed when she first came to this place. "You mean..." Joe started to say, his eyes going wide at the thought. "That's right, and unless you get the hell out of my way, you'll be next!" Marta declared angrily. "Now move!" She brandished the knife in front of her and then put it away when Joe moved out of the way. "Let it alone Joe," Cho said with disgust. "Let the fool continue to get wasted. If we're lucky she'll pass out and never wake up." "Miss Hee!" Joe protested. "Just shut up Joe! You're pointless attempts to be positive are annoying." Cho Hee sighed. "You heard her, she's a murderer! Even if her husband was cheating on her, that was no reason to kill him." Cho stood up, glancing at Marta who was in the kitchen, muttering to herself as she looked for something else to drown her sorrows in. "Frankly, I'm sick of this, sick of people who's lives are a mess and stupid fools like yourself who always attempt to be positive even when it's a lie." Hee glared at Joe. "You can't help her and you know it. You make me sick." Cho ignored Joe's pained look and left the dining area. Pausing only long enough to say one more thing before she walked out the door. "In fact, both of you make me sick." She opened the front door to leave and then jumped and turned back when a bottle shattered next to the door. "We don't want you here either little miss perfect!" Marta screamed at her as she moved to strike Cho. "Marta! No!" Joe cried out, moving to stop her. But Marta was too drunk to understand what he was doing, lashing out with the knife she had, slashing Joe across the chest. And though the cut was not deep it still hurt, causing him to stagger backwards. "That's right, blame everyone, even hurt the poor fool who actually feels sorry for you." Hee taunted. "Go ahead! Kill me as well! Prove that the truly crazy one was you and not your ex husband." "But..." Marta looked at the knife and then at Joe who was clutching his chest where she had cut him. Without a word she fainted on the spot. "Pathetic," Cho said before she turned and left the two for good. I'd rather be alone than with those two fools she thought as she went to explore the city.

And sorry Aaryanna, I sold myself to D'Ann/Raiha a few years back, so she's the current holder of the Irishman. I can however offer a perfectly good Blue Jihad. Just think of him as an organic version of KOTOR's HK-47, witty, intelligent and funny, who would like nothing better than to disembowel the people he dislikes. Starting bids at 2,500 Republic credits, because anything else would be mad.
Well that just bites. XP I want an Irishman, not Alex. :animesigh

Well, since people are trying to [steal] sell animals I'll sell my cat for a quarter. And by the powers invested in me by the fact that I am of Irish decent, Gavin is now up for sale... the bidding will start at three euro (Look! No S)
Hehe, we already have a cat. XP One is more than enough, but I'll offer five euro for Gavin! :catgirl: I don't know what I'll do with him if I get him though. lol
You know, I've never been smacked AND given Chalupas in the same post before. I guess Rat Boy's yours then, Aaryanna! Chain him well!
Whee! I won! *hands over some more Taco Bell Chalupas to Aceburner*

I want this so bad I can taste it. XP But I still don't have a DS. I suspect that in the end, like I always do, I'll be shamelessly begging Beth to let me play her's when it arrives. I really need a job and my own money! Everything I've seen for this just looks like so much fun! Also, The Wind Waker was my first Zelda game and I adore the cell-shaded look. So I really want to have another Zelda game done in that style.

Well I finally have a game that I've played for over 100 hours. And that would be Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. I hit that this morning when I finished the second bonus dungeon for this game. It's got so much to do, from the main storyline to the three bonus dungeons, to all the different mini games. And then, to make it even more fun, you earn all sorts of different battle trophies to unlock two more levels of difficulty in which you can do everything all over again. I suspect that if I do everything this game has to offer on each level of difficulty, I'll end up putting in well over 300 hours on it before I'm done. Oh and if you combine them together, you can say I've put in 100 hours for Zelda games. Not on just one individual game though. I have played some of them more than once, I've just never hit 100 hours for just one game. But together? I've played Ocarina of Time, The Wind Waker and Twilight Princess, so together that's well over 100 hours. In fact, I should pull out Twilight Princess and play it again since it's been a while since I beat the game. That and I never got around to beating the cave of ordeals.

Well I finally got around to beating the second bonus dungeon, the one in the lava caves. After I leveled up a bit in the sealed sphere area. My first attempt to take down
Fayt as the final boss for that area resulted in my butt getting clobbered.
So now I'm using the guide and picking up the items that are valuable in the sealed sphere area but I have to admit, due to the nature of the layout and how you have to go at least ten levels before the monsters change. Even though I'm getting tons of experience and cool stuff, it is kind of tedious how the levels all look alike to a certain degree. The only sad part is that now that I'm back in school. At the rate I'm going, I won't make it to the top until next year. XP Which sucks since I really want to finally beat all the bosses in this game. Though I suppose I could just start another game on hard or the regular level and change my character interactions so I'll get different boss pairings in the caves and therefore earn more battle trophies. I still don't have enough to unlock the last hard level for this game.

There's an emo main character, some other cast who are all shrowded in mystery, and more ENORMOUS BREASTS than you can even wrap your mind around. Seriously, I watched this ep with my brother and friend and we pretty much spent the entire time joking about the inanely huge boobs. It's... positively unreal.
Oh I hate that. It's like they rely on the stupid gigantic bouncing boobs gag instead of having a real plot and storyline. I usually steer clear of shows that have that in it since so far, every one I've seen was stupider than hell. So it sounds like something I should avoid instead of actually watching. lol
