1.
New members now-a-days can't RP worth crud. No offense.
Uh dummy... Rach's been a member for only half the time you have and he's an excellent RP player. And Wet Cement's pretty new and he/she seems to be doing just fine. Being new has nothing to do with it. :animesigh
  2.
I thought the reference to ML was cool. ^_^; I'm gonna have to refrain from using ashke and ke'chara now... Hehe. [now wants to pull in a Stefan']
Hehe, that's exactly what I was thinking. ^_^ As well as the obvious nicknames. Especially Ashke, I always did like that one. Still the idea of imagining Vanyel as a female is pretty funny. Even if indifference's character is obviously not Vanyel. lol As for the Charm bit. Well... everyone's powers are so subdued so I wanted someone who would create ruffles due to not being able to really control it very well. That and it just seemed like it would make for lots of funny situations. Aaaannnd I've got a very vivid imagination at times. Hehe. As well as being influenced by playing Dragon Quest VIII Journey of the Cursed King
  3. I've never finished this show. Not that it wasn't interesting, but at the time Suzaku was just so damn mean that after watching that part I quit. Not that Rando was any nicer mind you. >_< Though that was a while ago and I don't scare as easily as I use to so I really ought to finish watching it. Especially since I can probably convince SunfallE to loan me her DVD's of this show. Still out of all the characters my favorite was Kurama. I'm thinking it would be worth watching it again just to follow what happens to him.
  4. Dill pickle slices and mustard pickles that my Mom makes via canning. Those are totally yummy. That and green olives. I just love them. I swear, I'd go into withdrawal if I didn't have those for sandwiches and salads. Or to simply have a few as a snack.
  5.
All right, so usually when I get them I look for pictures first and if they're cute or funny I pass them on.
Hmmm... Others have said it already but that's the whole problem right there. Even if you hate them, obviously you still support it to a certain degree. So obviously on some level they don't make you mad at all. Honestly, those things are so stupid that it's painful. And I can't figure out why anyone would think they could be real. But then I don't believe in ghosts or things like that. But yeah, like Rach I do like to kill them. Hitting that delete button is fun. :catgirl:
  6.
One thing, Takuya, your sig is annoyingly huge. Any chance I could ask you to trim it down? Preferredly those damn smilies?
Oh DB! Duh! It's not that bad. :p But then I've been RPGing with Takuya in Silver One all this time and It's never bothered me. Anyway, I'm sure the rest of you have noticed that I have a sign up in the Adventure Inn as well. Personally I think this is gonna be fun. I love your characters in Silver One Takuya and so far I'm loving your character for this one. As well as yours indifference. Especially since I adore Mercedes Lackey! :catgirl:
  7. All right DB, here it is. ^_~ And just so the rest of you know... Acording to DB Tasha will be arriving at Esper Hall in the next chapter. Should be fun! :catgirl: Name: Tasha Sanders Age: 21 Gender: Female Appearance: Tall and graceful with pale blonde hair half way down her back. With green eyes, generous curves and an almost unearthly look to her. Tasha has always been considered beautiful. Biography: Tasha is fairly normal. Even though she realized at an early age that she could hear other?s thoughts and make things move if she wanted them to, she never really cared one way or the other since she had lots of friends and a good family. Tasha finished High School and was about halfway through college when a latent power of essentially charming others appeared. She didn?t even realize that she was doing it. The resulting rush of guys as well as girls practically following her everywhere finally resulted in her quitting school and returning home to isolate herself from everyone. A year later, on her twenty-first birthday she finally returned to society since she finally figured out how to block it partially. But also because she had heard rumors of a place called Esper Hall and she was determined to try and find it. For months she tried tracking down a location by virtue of following people?s thoughts, until ironically, when she was about to quit and go home she got on the wrong bus. She had been up all night tracking down a rumor and tiredly dragged her luggage onto the wrong bus, not realizing what she had done until half-way there she woke up and realized that the bus was out in the middle of no where. At Esper Hall no less. Powers: Telepathy, tapped. Transporting, semi-tapped. Hasn?t figured out how to transport herself. Charm, the ability to cause others to be infatuated with you, in her case it?s out of control and barely kept in check. Affinity: Bisexual. Very open about it. Other Facts: Tasha is a bit naïve, well other than having relationships that is. But she?s never faced hardship and has no grasp of the concept of doing without. She?s pretty laid back and easy going. The only exception is she dislikes people who aren?t honest. She?s also into cute things like animals and stuffed animals and loves frilly things. In fact her wardrobe, though tasteful is full of more pretty styled clothing. She doesn?t wear dresses, but plain jeans and shirts are a definite no no.
  8. I've only read the first manga of this series. But if the anime is anything like the fun and zany personality they have going for Train then I definitely want to see it. It's not often that I read a manga and like the character that much in such a short time. He's wonderfully funny and zany at the same time. And the way he goes from being goofy to completely and totally serious really sets the tone well for what's going to happen next. In fact, I'm going with my Mom to BestBuy in a bit and though I'm getting a DVD it's going to be a hard choice since there are so many that I want!
  9.
Agreed. And I rather like how Stevens is using the threat of Jared being the one to interrogate the High Council. It's wonderfully ironic in my opinion. But beyond that. Now that indifference's post is up I'm looking forward to Takuya's since I'm assuming it will be the part where Blaine is caught and Daniel and Kerstin are finally found. That and I'm looking forward to seeing all of them working together, Kiva, Daego and Jared. Well at least semi together since I've no idea how Kiva will organize the assault.
Hehe oh I so agree! :D Serves them right! As for the next part. I am so ready for Blaine to get clobbered. Hehe. Also... I've now posted my shocker so to speak. The characters haven't learned it yet, but for the adults that alteration is for good. I'm betting that it'll annoy Daego the most. ^_~ I mean even the normally calm Crystal is madder than hell! It's too bad she isn't in sector fourteen since she really would level the facility. She's that annoyed. That and writing that post up would have been wicked fun to do. *starts plotting for a way to send Crystal to sector fourteen*
I kid!

Now that the first tests had come back confirming that the alteration had indeed been done. Crystal had handed over testing the rest to some of the other doctors she had pulled for this assignment. Now she had been focusing on examining the differences as well as how to reverse it. But unless the direction of her research took an unexpected twist, it wasn't looking good. The very nature of the alteration was something that became more permanent once someone matured. If she were to change it back for an adult there would be all sorts of unpleasant side effects. It was a chilling example of why such mental alterations were illegal in the first place. Whoever had designed the changes had made no attempt to ensure that it could be reversed. Crystal wished the person responsible was still around, or even their notes since it was looking like the change was done to prevent reversing the change. In many ways it reminded her of Erica's disease. Even though doctors had isolated the cause, attempting to restore the genetics back to normal was even more harmful than the damn disease was. Instead the research was more on stabilizing the gene that would essentially go wild and cause her body to fall apart. Though without knowing what triggered the degeneration in the first place that wasn't an easy task. Crystal reached up with her hands to massage her temples, tired of staring at the different holographic screens up at the terminal in the lab. She hated research where it was something she couldn't fix it. Oh she could, at least for children and those who hadn't been born yet. But the rest? Many would not believe that there was little she could do. I should have never agreed to the research in sector fourteen. She knew that she was ethical, but what of the next researcher? They could take all of her careful work and simply ignore how she had been careful to make modifications that could be easily reversed. She dropped her hands to her lap and then reached up to contact Stevens. A few minutes later he answered. "What did you need Crystal?" "I'm not finished Stevens, but the initial indications is that this alteration is not reversible. At least not without causing serious problems that would be worse than the alteration is." "Hell! Are you sure?" Crystal nodded, "At this point I would be surprised to find otherwise. I can fix young children and those who have yet to be born as well as changing how the genetics are done so further generations will not be altered. But for the rest of us. We're stuck with it I'm afraid." "Damn, that's not going to go over very well." Stevens exclaimed, his expression one of pure frustration. "I've already had to go to the next level of Martial Law to get things under control. Dammit it Crystal, I need something positive to tell the people or this is going to end in civil war!" "I know that Stevens. Just as I'm sure you realize that if you don't follow through with the law and execute those who have been allowing this to happen civil war will be the last of your concerns." Crystal glared at him just a bit, starting to get angry. "There's another thing as well, after this, I refuse to continue helping with the research in sector fourteen. Other than to increase their lifespan I am done with any form of mental alterations." Crystal began to curse colorfully before finally calming down a bit. "I don't expect an answer immediately , but this whole damn affair only shows why it was banned in the first place!" Stevens looked away, "I know and to tell you the truth I've already been thinking it would be best to halt project two." He sighed. "I need to go. Even if you are angry, please keep trying to find a way to reverse it. I promise, we'll discuss what to do about the research in sector fourteen to determine what to do. Stevens out." Crystal went back to her work, still fuming a bit. Thinking that it was probably a good thing she was in sector one since at that moment, if she were in sector fourteen... she would have used the Tempest to level the damn facility there. And to hell with the consequences. Especially since she had never fully agreed with it in the first place. I was foolish for thinking that by being in charge I could keep it under control. I should have told the High Council to get lost when they first ordered me to do it. Finally, when she realized she was still too angry to really focus she got up and headed to the gardens in the deeper part of the Council Center. It had been a long time since she had been too angry to follow through with her duties.
  11. Wow, I can't believe I missed this request... Especially since I love pink! 12.
>_< Yes Mom! 13.
Well, do spambots count as members, since they don't really have... thoughts? And besides, they aren't members anymore thanks to the lightning-speed of mod deletion (I've always been impressed by this, longest I ever saw a bot live was an hour and it joined at 3 AM - the mods deserve a pat on the back!)...(but not from me, cuz I'd find a way to make it sexual...[/B'])
>_< I swear DB there should be a method where the member gets infamous for being a known pervert. 14. 15.
Actually, as much as I love the after-game moves I was and still am quite infatuated with Gravity Bullet and Laser Beams :p.
Well when it comes to before the nifty moves one can get later in the game. I rather liked Fayt's sidekick and the Explosion spell. Oh and Dimension Door is a great one too. And Dragon's Roar. I just like the ones you get later better. Fayt is absolutely adorable with
wings
:catgirl:
  16.
One thing I have noticed that happens regardless of which characters I'm using is a weird thing where all of them just stand there until the first blow is struck. And I mean that quite literally. They do nothing, all of them. But then once either a monster strikes them or I get in a hit, the battle proceeds like normal. Has anyone else run into that as well? Anyway...I'm almost to level 140 in the sealed area and my main three are close to level 160, so I'll be heading back to the caves to take on the final boss soon. What I have enjoyed though is getting the scrolls/tomes that teach your characters new moves. It's fun since the characters use different sayings in battle. Take Albel, since I got the double slash of fury he's got several new phrases that crack me up. My favorite being your death won't be an easy one. lol :catgirl:
Yeah, I get that too. It's annoying. I mean for the most part it doesn't matter, but still I feel like yelling, Move you stupid idiot! At least it doesn't happen very often. Still...Duh! Anyway, I've been going through the first part of the sealed levels. Hehe! I just adore the new sayings my characters use. I love Cliff's I'm going to flatten you and Albel's newest one of Beg for mercy just cracks me up! :catgirl: But by far, my favorite move is Fayt's Ethereal Blast. It's so pretty! Once I level up some more I'm going to go after the final boss in the caves too! Also am I the only one who thinks its a bit lame that the coolest moves aren't available until after you beat the game? I mean I love the better moves. Before I didn't care but now? I really like them. ^_^
  17. Hehe, I should copy and paste indifference's response since I'm exactly like that. I like just about anything until they drag it out needlessly. Well other than stuff with hentai in it. I don't care how good the story is. No sex! :animeangr Well obviously vulgar pornographic stuff that is. Implied doesn't count. Anyway...I also like mystery since in general I'm not a big mystery fan so a series like Case Closed aka Detective Conan is perfect since the anime elements in it draw me in and keep me from getting bored. But by far the stuff I like the best is comedy. Like the second season of Full Metal Panic: Fumoffu. I liked that better than the first season! Though you had to have seen the first season to understand just why the second was so funny! And that episode where Kaname got kidnapped and Sousuke goes to rescue her? Oh good lord I just died laughing. It was fantastic. When a show has you laughing so hard that tears are running down your face, it's definitely a sign that they did something right. :catgirl:
  18.
I seem to notice a lot of people don?t like math. I wonder why. Honestly, is it that bad or something? I?m just a words person.
I have no idea. I love math! Math is my best subject. ^_^ I love algebra. And I love getting good grades in it too. My next best subject is science. I adore learning about how things work. It's very fascinating to me and I've yet to get tired of it. My worst is English. Oh I get good grades and all, that's not the problem...It's when we get into what I consider more old styled writing or poetry. That stuff bores me to tears. >_< I hate Tolkien and Shakespeare. That stuff just puts me to sleep! And grammar and spelling is tedious. But on the other hand I love fantasy and science fiction novels. Lately I've totally been into the novels written for the older Star Trek universe with Captain Kirk, Spock and McCoy. Fun stuff! :catgirl:
  19.
Method 10: Be obsessive and proud of it. Find something to obsess about -- something other than Naruto and Kingdom Hearts, mind you -- and display your obsession proudly. The more eccentric the obsession is, the more likely you are to get noticed. Take every opportunity to display a wide range of knowledge about your object of obsession, make references to it frequently, and find ways to relate it to other subjects of conversation. Keep it up consistently and you'll build a reputation as, "that person who's crazy about...." If your obsession happens to match up with one of the forums you'll also have a decent chance of becoming a moderator this way. Just be careful not to come off as a stupid fanboy/girl. Your mentors: Desbreko, Aaryanna, Charles
Hehe! You know it! Damn straight I'm crazy about my dog! How can I not be when she's the cutest thing ever? :catgirl:
It's the long hair, isn't it >.>....damn you and your unholy prejudice.
Oh how uneducated you are my friend. It take more than long hair to make a person worthy of being worshiped. Nad kicking abilities are a must as well as a wicked sense of humor. And if that isn't enough...this record of pure pawnage is sure to convince you that Des more than earns his title of the Great Desbreko. Click! Des completely and totally rules. :p
  20. I swear Shy and CHW. Both of you are just asking for me to clobber you. :animeangr For the last time..No, No, NO! Not one of of the dogs here is cuter than mine! *slams her fist on the counter dramatically!* They are cute, but they are not cuter! :p And considering what today is...what I say goes. So there! *thibbit*

True to his word Stevens had done as he had promised and Crystal had been able to get samples from the storage facility for the High Council and their immediate families. As well as putting out the request for samples from different ships in the fleet in sector one. It had taken her a while but Crystal had taken over the genetics lab in the Council Center and set up the necessary tests to be run. With the help of a few doctors in the fleet that she had selected, the first set of tests had been started. It shouldn't been too hard to confirm since the data Erica had in her time line clearly detailed just what had been changed. And once the first set had run she would begin the next. Though since it was getting late that would not happen till tomorrow. Crystal took a moment to check in with Dakar since he was handling the security to ensure no one got in and messed with the results. Then once she was at the transport area for the Council Center she went back to the Tempest. Crystal immediately headed for sickbay to pick up what she would need to go and administer the treatment to Erica, her mind still on the tests she had been preparing. Unless she found something radically different, it was looking like what Erica had found was true. As part of the preparation process she had run what was known as a quick test. A quick test basically checked the major genetic points of a person's genetic code. And the one she had done earlier, of her own genetic code compared to Erica's had indicated that she had been altered where Erica had not. What she was running now for not only her own code and Sandra's but quite a few others, was a program that would map the entire genetic code. It would check to see if the alteration had been done on all levels of the gene. She sighed as she gathered the equipment for scanning Erica as well as the medication she would be giving her. Even though Crystal would do her duty, part of her didn't know what to think. It was bad enough that of all people Erica had been leading the resistance. Crystal had not forgotten that the resistance had kidnapped her on Earth to not only get her research data but to delay the research in sector fourteen. Had Erica actually been the one to order her abduction? In a way the thought that she had been the one hurt. Even if Crystal was helping with the research, Erica of all people would have known that if it was too invasive Crystal would have never agreed to help. It would not have been the first time Crystal had refused an order from the High Council. A short while later Crystal was back at the transport room, requesting to be transported to The Transcendence. A moment later she was standing just outside the door the Erica's cell. With a sigh she reached up and opened the door, using a setting that would allow the door to open once more before resetting and staying locked. In her condition, Erica lacked the strength to attempt an escape, and she had shown no interest in doing so. Crystal found her curled up on the lounging chair, under a blanket half asleep. Something that didn't surprise Crystal since she had upped her pain medication. Most people only used the stronger stuff to help them sleep at night, but with nothing to do in the cell Crystal had decided that it was pointless for her to be more alert and in pain with nothing to do to distract her from that pain. It wasn't enough of an increase to put her out, but it did make her drowsy. Today though it seemed that Erica was determined to finally say something as she stirred at the sound of the cell door opening and after a moment she moved and adjusted the lounging chair so she could sit more upright. Erica waited for a moment as if to see if Crystal would say something but when she simply pulled out her medical scanner after setting the equipment down Erica spoke up. "I must admit Crystal, I'm surprised that you've yet to say a word. You of all people have never been the type to keep what they think to themselves." Crystal unconsciously gripped the scanner she was holding tighter before snapping a bit. "Perhaps it's because I have nothing to say." "I doubt it," Erica said. "Would you prefer that I voice what you must be thinking?" Crystal looked up from her scanner for a moment and into Erica's eyes. Just what is she getting at? "If you already know what I must be thinking then there's really no point in voicing it is there?" She turned her attention back to the scans and calculating the dose for the medication. Surprised at how angry she was still feeling towards Erica. "Ah, but there is. Still if you wish for me to not touch upon the questions of why did I choose to lead the resistance or why did I do nothing to stop your abduction, then so be it. There are plenty of other things to discuss after all." "You've missed the point Erica, I've no desire to talk with you at all." Crystal finally said as she started getting into the small chest she brought with her to prepare the dose for Erica. "Fair enough," Erica replied, "However, unless you intend to stop me I want to talk with you. It is rather boring and dull in here. Though it is at least nice and quiet." "Fine." Crystal said through clenched teeth. "Talk all you want, just don't expect an answer." "An answer is not necessary, your actions as well as the crew of this ship tell me all I need to know. For starters, the fact that you took a genetic sample from me tells me that someone believes that what they found in my computer system may be true. Second, I am still on board The Transcendence. Unlike others who have graced a cell on this ship I know who both Kiva and Daego are. I may not have been responsible for Kiva being chosen to be an Elite Specialist or for approving her choice of crew, but I still knew of them. And switching out the stuff in my cell indicates that I will most likely be here for a while. And lastly, the fact that I have not been moved to a high security cell in the Council Center indicates that there is a high possibility that the information Kiva would have found was not suppressed by the rest of the High Council. That when she released the evidence against me as is required when arresting a member of the Council, someone found out before the other High Council members were able to remove that information." Erica paused for a moment while Crystal administered the medication and then continued while Crystal started putting things away. "All of this leads me to believe that those who lead the Military forces, Stevens, Dakar, Zach and James have declared martial law and seized control from the High Council in order to investigate the allegations that there are other members who are guilty of treason. They would have never left me on board this ship or allowed you to take a genetic sample from me." Erica smiled wanly, "I suspect that Stevens would have been the one to assign you to my care. I know perfectly well that those fools would have made sure I was silenced. Even if interrogation is out of the question, they would not have wanted to risk the possibility of my giving up damming information willingly." Crystal finished closing the chest and stood up to leave. "I hope your finished, since I am leaving whether you are or not." Erica laughed a bit. "Oh I'm done for now Crystal. I do have a request though. And there's no need to answer since I know you can't. But if you are allowed to pass a message on. Tell that fool Stevens that if he wants to know more, all he has to do is say please." Crystal turned and left without a word, the door opening when she approached it and the closing and relocking behind her. With a sigh she sent the signal indicating she was done and then stepped through the door that appeared to take her back to the Tempest. Then before heading for her quarters, she went to sickbay, put all the equipment up and then sent Stevens a message telling him what Erica had said. Then, still feeling annoyed she headed for her quarters to call it a night.
  22.
I'm pretty sure my dog beats everyone else's dog in the cute category.
Uh...No. Just plain no. :p
Though I hear that breeds like Bichon's don't shed or produce dander, making them ideal for people with allergies. So once I finish school, start working and get my own place, perhaps I'll get something like that.
You heard correctly. It's part of why we got her. The only drawback is that a Bichon's fur is more like hair so it mattes easily and requires regular upkeep. But still, seeing how much the cat sheds like mad, it's worth it. Also, I have friends who have pet allergies and so far my dog has never made any of them sick. So it works out really well since given a chance, I take her everywhere. :catgirl:
  23.
I can say this much though, Blaine had better hope that Kiva gets to him first, if not, Jared will make sure he regrets kidnapping Kerstin. Besides, Jared's still a meanie as you put it. But this RPG is rated PG so there's no need to go into detail as to how he amuses himself is there? I've certainly hinted at it enough. :p
o_O Well that should be interesting. I'm sure Blaine would be happier if it was Kiva, well not that he'd be happy to be caught, but if he knew...Hehe, I'd take Kiva over Jared any day. >_< And yeah, I know. I haven't forgotten that in the first arch before the RPG started that Jared arranged for Daniel's mother to be tortured to death. That among other things is why Jared needs to die! Well...after someone clobbers Blaine first! :p Anyway...sorry it's been almost a week since I posted. I was sick and not feeling very good for a while. I'll have my post up either later today or tomorrow for sure. Oh and one other thing...*pokes Rach*...That's for freaking me out with your post! For a second I thought Blaine had sent him a message indicating that Kerstin was dead. >_< Only for a second mind you but still...I like Kerstin so I would have been pretty miffed if you killed her off! 24. Hehe, my mom probably misunderstood you. ^_~ I'm use to people thinking I'm stupid because I'm blonde. Though that makes it all the more fun to pull the rug out from under their feet when they do stupid stuff. But my mom...yeah, she gets tired of it since some people have been pretty rude to her since I'm pretty opinionated about my right to not be religious as well as other things. Even to the point that she's had fellow so called christians come over to our house and attempt to lecture her on how she should be bringing up her disrespectful daughter. And that has included references to me being a stupid blonde as well. >_< So yeah...in the end I think it bothers her more than it does me. lol Also you're right, it's hard for me to tell Asian people apart. They do look very similar to me where blondes and white people are far easier for me to see all the differences. ^_~
  25. Oh my! TeeHee! That was great! :catgirl: I didn't expect you to essentially diss each and every one of them as well as implying they couldn't win unless they were lucky. And here I was feeling bad for you Rach since White picked on you in his. You meanie! LOL! I kid. ^_~ You did a fantastic job. I love it! And like my mom I loved the reference to our past as the Mercenaries. That was by far my favorite part! :catgirl: Since it implied that regardless of our name, our team unity and spirit is the same.
