Crystal was glad that the interrogations with Kim were finished. She knew Stevens had arranged for her to be transported to the Catalyst and since she had already given him the medical routine for monitoring Kim should further interrogations be required, her duty in regards to Kim was finished. The routine in question was one of her best and would eliminate the need for a doctor to be present. And Crystal was positive that Kiva would have been briefed on all the necessary protocols and how things were done once she had been promoted. From what little she had seen, Crystal was sure Kiva had gone through everything that would have been necessary for her to complete her job. It was almost soothing to be back working in the medical field and the past few days working with the doctors in one of the clinics in Australia to eliminate a particularly nasty virus among the humans had been relaxing, as well as the working on her end of the genetic research being done in sector fourteen. Crystal transported down to the main medical facility in Canberra Australia and with a brief nod to the receptionist she headed back into the main doctor's office to go over their progress yesterday. At their current rate they would have the virus isolated and a means to eliminate it ready within a few days. "Ah Commander Crystal," the young doctor said, standing up as she entered his office. "Thank you again for your assistance, this particular virus has been most troublesome since we arrived here on Earth. I've already prepared the lab for today's work, shall we?" He indicated the door to the right side of his desk. Crystal nodded and followed him through the door, but before the door could even shut behind them the sound of a commotion from the main area could be heard as well as the sound of what could only be disruptor fire. What the hell? Crystal turned to head back only to freeze in place when two unknown men entered the doctors office openly carrying disruptor's with them. Without hesitation Crystal slammed the door shut and stepped to the side and opened her hand held to contact the Tempest. She barely had time to register that someone was jamming transmissions in the area when the door leading to the lab was blasted open, smashing it into pieces that flew everywhere, knocking apart weeks of delicate work. She closed her hand held, turning it off and placed it back in the side pouch she always wore before walking over to join the young doctor and turning to face the two men as they entered the lab. "What have you done? You fools!" The young doctor exclaimed as the two men came in their disruptor's aimed at both Crystal and him. "You've destroyed weeks of delicate research! Research that would help the people of this world!" "Be quiet," one of the men ordered as he turned to Crystal. "We've come for you Commander Crystal." He walked forward his disruptor aimed at her while holding out his other hand, "Don't make this harder than it has to be, just hand over your disruptor and no one has to get hurt." Crystal just raised an eyebrow at that one. Why would they want me? Unless she was mistaken, their silver eyes clearly identified them as being Versilan and therefore working for the resistance. She hesitated and then when he raised the weapon a tad and his expression changed, she reached slowly for her disruptor and handed it over. He bowed slightly, "Thank you Commander." Then while he kept the weapon trained on both of them he did something with his hand held and a transportation door opened. He motioned for Crystal to enter and then leaving the young doctor behind the two men followed Crystal just before the door shut behind them. When Crystal walked through the door, the very nature of the room she was in told her she had to be at one of the resistances bases. The walls were made of the same substance that the ships were and such a thing would require excellent shielding to hide it from the scanners on the ships. She was not surprised to find former Commander Daniel waiting for her and she didn't wait for him to speak. "Perhaps you could explain to me why you interrupted my research Commander," she said coldly, "Research that would have benefited the people of this world. These two fools," she indicated the two agents who were escorting her, "Destroyed weeks of delicate work, work that would have saved thousands of lives." "I'm terribly sorry Commander Crystal," Daniel replied even as he motioned for the agents to take her personal belongings along with the hand held computer which they promptly handed over to him. "But it was necessary in order to get your hand held computer. Since I know you will not tell me what I wish to know." "That is correct, if you wish for my cooperation, I will not willingly help you. Regardless of what you have in mind." "Other than to keep you locked up, no harm will come to you." Daniel said apologetically, "We do not torture or use drugs to find out what we need to know. I'm sorry Commander about your research being destroyed as I know you do genuinely care about the health of the enslaved races. Unfortunately, for now it is necessary to halt the research in sector fourteen and since they will not be able to finish it with out your input I cannot release you immediately. As soon as it is possible you will be released though." He nodded to the two men and then left. "Commander, this way please," one of the men said. Crystal turned and followed him through yet another transportation door into what appeared to be a small home in the country side, though she did not know where it was on Earth. The view outside was pretty and the room she was in though small had a bed a restroom and a small table. But not much else. "One thing to keep in mind Commander," one of the men said before leaving her in the room. He raised his disruptor and fired at the window, only for nothing to happen. Surprising Crystal. "This room was constructed from materials similar to what is used to make the ships. We thought you would at least enjoy having a nice view, but breaking the furniture in an attempt to get out is futile as it's not glass. I'll be back later to see if you need anything." Crystal watched as he closed the door, locking it behind him. She turned to look at the window where he had taken a shot at it. There wasn't even a scorch mark. Now what? She wondered.

I'd like to say that the kid is out of luck, but if there really are other students who have tattoos and they only expelled him, then the school is overreacting since it's not fair to punish one student and not the others if they are all breaking the rules. Other than that if it's part of the dress code then there isn't anything they can do. Oh and you may not realize it RobinWH but the other school BYU is a university so all of the students are over 18 and they can and will expel you from school even though tattoos are not listed on the dress code, just having piercings other than one in each ear for women and guys aren't allowed to have them at all. Personally unless the tattoo has swearwords or gestures that others would consider offensive, I just don't see the point in forbidding them. I've never understood why people were bothered by them in the first place.

If You Could Fly, Who Would You Spit On?
Aaryanna replied to DeadSeraphim's topic in General Discussion

I don't really care who I'm spitting on, I'd just spit randomly as I fly through the air. Perhaps a dog. I hate dogs.
I take it back, I'd spit on anyone who would spit on a dog. :p -
1: What changes (if any) do you think the forum structure needs? I rather like the structure Des suggested, it looks nice and neat and balanced, where the current layout seems way off balance with so much stuck in the same section under Arts and Entertainment. 2: What new sites would you add to the OB Network? Well it was suggested by Sandy to have a records bit, much in the same way you have the world records. So having an Otaku records with nifty trivia to go along with Otakupedia would be cool. Also I wouldn't mind seeing something like a section for reviews of anime shows and games. I kind of miss having those to read since that part was taken down from theOtaku. But to turn around and add it to OtakuBoards, especially the anime section is something I think members would like since recommendation threads on what to watch are always popping up. Though I'm thinking more like Otakupedia where members submit reviews and they are added to the site so to speak. 3: Should OB Network provide a free hosting service to members for their own personal sites? If you have your own personal site, would you consider having it hosted by OtakuBoards? I don't see the need for this. Especially since it's already so easy to get a free site for what you need. And I share the same concern that Des does in that it would end up taking up disk space and bandwidth. 4: Comments/Suggestions Not at the moment, I think I already covered what I had in mind. ^_^

If You Could Fly, Who Would You Spit On?
Aaryanna replied to DeadSeraphim's topic in General Discussion
:shifty: Absolutely no one. I'd enjoy flying, but spitting? I'd drop water balloons so long as I wasn't too far up since someone did that on a bridge and it cracked the windshield of a car going underneath. So I wouldn't want to hurt someone. But to spit? Nope. -

In a about a week, in the story that is, new things will be happening. Things that will be good for the resistance and for the Empire, so it ought to be fun! ^_~
Hehe, even though I'm with the Empire I'm hoping that they get clobbered the worse! :p Oh and great job where Celestia dreamed that Jared found her and Jason. I knew it was a dream, but it was still creepy just the same! *shudder* Though I assume the information Celestia was thinking about in the first part of the dream was accurate? Oh and Takuya, I must say, Kiva is so damn good at what she does that it makes me glad this isn't real, if I was a resistance member I'd be scared stiff with someone that good tracking me down! As Aaryanna_Mom put it in one of her posts, if Kiva wasn't a resistance member, they would have been clobbered already! I know this is just an rpg, but some of your posts have actually given me the chills! LOL! Anyway, lets get to the next phase! *pokes SunfallE* :catgirl:

Slavery: Trying to atone, but why now?
Aaryanna replied to Rachmaninoff's topic in General Discussion
I think an apology is in order since there was so much more done than slavery, blacks still suffered under segregation and separate-but-equal laws that were anything but equal as it put them in the position of being considered second-class citizens. Even the Mormon Church is guilty of this and the last thing I read on it last year indicated that the church never apologized for barring blacks from the Mormon priesthood until June 1978. And though they finally did change the policy to allow it, they never apologized for this horrible statement here:
Check out this 1966 quote from Bruce R. McConkie -- a top church authority who eventually joined the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles. It is cited by leading anti-Mormon critics Jerald and Sandra Tanner in several of their books and articles. "Negroes in this life are denied the Priesthood; under no circumstances can they hold this delegation of authority from the Almighty. (Abra. 1:20-27.) The gospel message of salvation is not carried affirmatively to them... negroes are not equal with other races where the receipt of certain spiritual blessings are concerned, particularly the priesthood and the temple blessings that flow therefrom, but this inequality is not of man's origin. It is the Lord's doing, is based on his eternal laws of justice, and grows out of the lack of Spiritual valiance of those concerned in their first estate." (Mormon Doctrine, 1966, pp. 527-528)
So in all honesty, some form of apology as well as continuing to make things more equal are in my opinion a must. I think it makes both the government and the Mormon Church as well as any other place that has committed wrongs against so many people, look as if they only changed because the law forced them to instead of out of any real remorse for the wrongs that were committed. If nothing else, putting that apology on a federal level will be an indication that racism on a large scale isn?t going to be tolerated anymore. -

Anyway, this ought to be fun, Sandy's tiny teaser as to what the next challenge will be has me excited to get started!
Well it's official, we are writing a team song to an already existing melody! ^_^ And though I'm not too worried about being able to come up with a song, I haven't a clue how to do the music part, though Sandy did say a link was acceptable so as long as we provided a link to the melody we finally choose, it should be okay. Do you Alexa or you Rachmaninoff know how to host music? Me and my mom do not. >_< But like I said since links are allowed if we find the song we choose on a place like YouTube I would image that would work just fine. I'd have to ask Sandy on that one though. So any ideas? The first one that I thought of was the theme from Mission Impossible, you know the one where it says this tape will self destruct in ten seconds. It just makes me think of how we took such horrible losses at first and then turned around to win twice in a row, showing we could do what might have been considered, the impossible. ^_~ Any other ideas? I don't really listen to a lot of songs so I don't know how well lyrics would adapt to the movie soundtracks I've been listening too lately. Vader theme anyone? :p

*pokes Sandy* Of course we'll be nice to Rachmaninoff. ^_~ And welcome aboard to the Mercenaries as well Rachmaninoff! Having our team grow just makes us even stronger. I've sent you your avatar, but for the new flag I had to shorten your name. Even though your name is Darren, I thought putting the shortened version Rach would be more unique. Especially since using your whole name makes the print really small and look funny compared to the rest. Anyway here it is: Also just to let everyone know, should I end up off the team, I'll make a special flag with code names and matching avatars to make things easier. In fact if I had thought of it at the beginning I would have suggested it. Since code names aren't affected by the team switching around. But I didn't so I'm sticking with what we have been doing. ^_^ As for the next challenge, I'm very, very curious as to what Sandy has in mind. What about the rest of you?

Well, if my dog understood how to bite and not just growl, I'd have her take them down. No one would expect a little fluff ball to get ya. But since she hasn't figured that out, which is a good thing, I would use a set of twin daggers and slice my way free. Of course this is assuming that since the scenario is so unlikely, the fact that I don't know how to use weapons is irrelevant as well. It would just some how actually work. Then I'd try to find out why the idiots attacked in the first place.

Well since we seem to be considering that Kim might be transfered to the Catalyst I included it in my post that Stevens got Crystal's recommendation on that. Which of course she interpreted as a request for her input should he choose any of the options. Since that's how Crystal is, she would cover all possibilities offered to her. And since Crystal knows Kiva and Daego aren't doctors she included a routine to monitor Kim for Kiva to use if she needs to. One that is specially written just for Kim's genetic make up. If Kim is transfered to the Catalyst that is. So I guess it's now up to you Mom to make the final decision once another week has passed in the story. :p

Crystal had finished repairing the damage done to Kim earlier and had gone back to the Tempest to go over the reports of the other prisoners who had been caught in Australia. Everything had been finished and the remaining prisoners who were Versilan had been shipped off to sector one. Once Stevens was done with Kim she could go back to her duties of overseeing the medical facilities being built on Earth. Crystal was already planning on touring the ones in Australia for the next couple of days while Kim healed. She sighed as she closed the report on Kim that she had been working on. Stevens had not decided what to do with her just yet, especially since the Elite Specialist had recommended that Kim be kept in sector thirteen in case Kiva or her crew had questions for Kim. Crystal really hated being involved in interrogations. Even though she knew they were necessary, she still hated it. Especially since on some level she felt like resistance members were treated too harshly, it was easier when dealing with criminals who often did horrible things, but members of the resistance? She shook her head bringing her attention back to the report she was writing for Stevens since he had asked her what she thought of simply handing Kim over to Kiva once they were done with her. Crystal wasn?t sure why he was even bothering to ask her since it hardly seemed necessary, he hardly needed her opinion for anything, but then he asked her all sorts of things that surprised her. Like their last conversation when he had actually made her blush, something Crystal hadn?t done in years. So Crystal did what she always did, she wrote up recommendations based on each option available, whether it was to execute her, to do as Stevens had suggested where he broke her along with the necessary drugs and things to watch out for. And then finally she included a medical routine for Kiva should Kim be transferred to the Catalyst. After monitoring Kim for nearly a month during interrogation the routine was specific to Kim?s makeup and if Kiva should need to use harsher methods like Stevens had, it would alert her to potential problems that could kill Kim. It would take very little for Kiva to install the routine into the monitoring equipment for interrogations on the Catalyst. She sent it off to Stevens and then Crystal pulled up the reports from her second in command detailing what her crew had been doing on Earth to assist with the takeover; he really was efficient, as everything had been running smoothly. If she ever managed to convince the High Council to let her go back to what she had been doing before she had been assigned to command the Tempest, she would recommend that he take command of the Tempest in her place. She made the necessary notes on each report and then after a word with her sub-commander she left the bridge and headed towards the sickbay to talk to Alex. If she was going to tour the facilities in Australia she had some questions that she wanted to ask him first.
-

But more importantly, please send Kim to sector one! I'm begging both you and who ever else in here decides! That way having the resistance snatch her before she gets there would be less cliched and poor Kim would finally be free!
o_O And here I just figured it was a given that she was going to either die or be taken advantage of. Just admit it Rachmaninoff! You're a hopeless romantic! :p

The people you choose can be any of the seven players that have left the game, from any of the four teams.
Looks like it?s time for our reward. ^_^ Hehe! The question, since Sandy posted the result at 12:46am and the other team posted their response at 2:36am while the rest of us were asleep. >_< I really hate these time zone things. Anyway, the question is which of the remaining six do we want to invite to our team? We?ve got some good choices here:
Gavin 19 years old male from Ireland Strengths: RPGs, Discussion/Debates Weaknesses: Anime/Manga, Music indifference/Crystia 26 years old female from USA Strengths: Discussion/Debates Weaknesses: Computers, Art/Graphics kalon 16 years old female from USA Strengths: Creative Writing, RPGs Weaknesses: Social Interaction, Art/Graphics JJ 17 years old male from USA/Somewhere in Europe Strengths: RPGs, Creative Writing Weaknesses: Art/Graphics, Discussion/Debates Peanut/Pumpkin 19 years old female from USA Strengths: Videogames/Computers, RPGs Weaknesses: Art/Graphics, Creative Writing Rachmaninoff/Darren 26 years old male from USA Strengths: Discussion/Debates Weaknesses: Everything Else
We could always invite one of our former teammates back or someone from a different team. Personally I think either indifference or Rachmaninoff would do a good job. What do you think Alexa? And what do you think Mom? Either way having our team grow is a good thing. Having now won two challenges in a row I think we?ve definitely shown we?re a team to be reckoned with. :catgirl:

Name: Mom Real name: Kathy Current age: 49 Height: 5'3" Hair: Grey [use to be brown] Eye color: Brown My mother is a organist and pianist and still teaches students in both. In addition to that she's spent years being a helper at different grade schools for my older siblings and when I was in grade school as well. My relationship with her is pretty good. ^_^ I adore my mom even though we have our differences, the biggest one being she's religious and I'm not. Because in the end even though we disagree she does her best to try and be understanding about it. Which makes her way cool. She's a great cook since she's a diabetic and she's spent years learning how to make food that she can eat that actually tastes good. And she loves to garden for both flowers and growing stuff to eat. Something my dog loves since the imp will eat strawberries right off the plant if you don't keep an eye on her. In many ways if feels like I'm an only child since I was a surprise baby and my brother and sister had moved out before I was even eight. So I've had her all to myself for the past six years. All right indifference and Aaryanna_Mom, or should I say mommy? :p Anyway... my post is up, if I got the innuendos or implications in regards to Stevens, Jared and Kim off let me know and I'll fix it okay? And one other thing, no freaking Mom! Cause that was fun to write! :p I wanna pull Stevens strings again since it was fun! I wanna! I wanna! [pouts]

Crystal waited until Kim had been taken away before turning to address Stevens. The last few days, though productive as far as the interrogation process went, had been a bit depressing. There was no getting around it, Crystal did not like watching people's barriers being stripped through torture and drugs, and even though she could to a certain extent focus on other work, in the back of her mind the screams of pain and the cruel gloating from Stevens as Kim finally began to break...it all just grated on her nerves. He was not as cruel as Jared was, but he wasn't too far off. Crystal just suppressed her irritation, it didn't serve any purpose and snapping and Stevens would change nothing. And when Stevens finally looked up in her direction after turning the equipment off she didn't give him a chance to analyze her expression. "Now that you're almost finished, what do you plan on doing with Kim?" Stevens just raised an eyebrow at that statement. "Stevens, don't play coy with me." Crystal said with real irritation. "I know perfectly well how Jared likes to amuse himself." She ignored Stevens slight look of surprise and continued. "I'm the one who lectured that idiot for using a combination of drugs that could impair his ability to fulfill his duties remember? And though you aren't as direct as Jared, I know perfectly well that you have your own idea of amusement so don't play stupid with me." Stevens threw his head back and laughed for several minutes, Crystal waited patiently while he recovered his composure. Then just as suddenly he stopped and looked at her again, crossing his legs and taking an amused stance. "Still as blunt as ever Crystal. No wonder Jared likes you." He chuckled a bit when Crystal raised an eyebrow at that statement. "To be honest, I haven't decided. It goes without saying that the High Council has left her fate up to me. I can simply execute her here. I could send her to sector one for a more public execution, or..." He trailed off and then leaned forward as if to whisper. "Or... I could keep her here as my own personal slave. Though I would imagine she wouldn't be very cooperative. At least not on a more intimate level." Crystal just sighed, "Don't beat around the bush Stevens, if you want the records on what I gave Jared to use on his," She paused and grimaced a bit before continuing. "Diversions. Then just say so, or better yet, simply ask Jared." "I wouldn't want to put you to any trouble Crystal, especially when I have not decided what to do just yet." "Stevens, if you and Jared really want to not put me to any trouble, then find better ways to, as the humans would put it, get laid. Better yet, the two of you have been lovers before so try entertaining each other instead of using your power to get what you want. You might find it refreshing to actually have a more normal relationship for a change." Crystal replied. Stevens just laughed delightedly at Crystal yet again. Causing her to frown in irritation. "One of these days you two will explain to me why you find me so funny. I was being serious!" Stevens chuckled some more and then got it under control. "It's simple Crystal, so few people are as blunt and to the point as you and it's rather refreshing, especially for people like Jared or myself, we are too use to people attempting to curry our favor." He got up and walked over to where Crystal was sitting and leaned over as if to impart yet another secret, looking her straight in the eyes. "You see people like you are the real treasures," He smiled at the slight hint of pink on her cheeks. "Even Jared would willing share genetics with you and you're a woman!" Stevens leaned over and kissed Crystal on the left cheek before straightening back up. "I'll let you know if there's anything I need you to do." He said with an impish grin. And then he left, leaving Crystal sitting there speechless.

Question to all team members in all teams: What are you[/I'] expecting from the future of OtakuBoards Survivor 4?
You don't fool me Sandy! It's a trick question! I just know it! A what are you expecting so he can go mwahahaha and yank the rug out from under your feet by doing something else! :shifty: Anyway... other than to hope the next challenges aren't dragged out so much I don't know what to expect. It could even be a
Haha! Made you look Sandy! =P There's no way I'm going to give you any evil ideas here. ^_~
I guess in the end I'll just have to wait and see. I haven't lost interest, but at the moment it may as well not even exist as I have nothing to do for a while here. >_< So as you would say Sandy, lets do two debates at the same time so we can get things going and...GAME ON!

oh jeez, bahah. Sorry for saying this so late xD but great job, Aaryanna! Great closing, I was blown away. You have a knack for debates, I think =3[/FONT']
Thanks! I worked really hard on it. :catgirl: My only regret is that now I?m pretty much out of the game until this part is finished.
So I think we should keep our team thread alive! Because you know, it could be awhile till we're challenged again. So I'll use the inspiration I got in another team thread to ask you.. What's your favourite type of music? Band? Song of the moment?
I agree, since otherwise it?s going to feel like I?m not even a part of this with all the downtime between debates. It really is a shame that only one happens at a time since I think it would have been pretty easy to keep track of two different debates at the same time. Anyway? As for the question, lately I?ve been into soundtracks to movies instead of bands. Anything by John Williams has been grabbing my attention. Especially the soundtracks he wrote for the Star Wars movies. Lately I just love listening to them, my favorite being the one for The Empire Strikes Back. I just adore Vader?s theme.

The more choices, the better right? :catgirl: Here's a couple I made. I did give them a background, but nothing fancy.

Not to be a killjoy, but even though it gets off to a good start, the story, in my opinion, became way to predictable in the next volume. The way the author had the main character just naturally be able to be so strong in
mock battles
was very predictable and sort of took the fun out of it. >_< Which was really a shame since I enjoyed the first volume quite a bit. Still, if you can get your hands on it to read it without buying it, it was still interesting to read. And you might like it where I did not. All I know is I have no interest in reading the third since the second one sort of killed it for me. :animesigh
-
Feh! And here I'm only just about to enter the eighth dungeon. If only I didn't have homework, chores, needing to actually sleep... :animesigh Still so far out of all the dungeons the seventh one with the
hook shot
was totally fun and by far my favorite so far. I really enjoyed that one. And for the in between parts, just as others have mentioned, the western shoot out was totally cool! The first time I was all stealthy and careful with my shots, but when I got distracted by
getting another special move
the next time I was jumping though windows and totally into it. And then though it wasn't quite as much fun I went back and did the cat game. Hehe, that was kind of fun too! :catgirl:

Even though Kim had already been taken back to her cell, Crystal was still there going over the information she had gotten. Once Stevens had left she had switched tactics, something that was going to be done in a few days anyway. There were better combinations of truth drugs that could be used, but not at the same time a disruptor was used as it was too dangerous. And though using both had proven to be effective, she did not like doing so. Still in the end it had at least made today?s session productive as far as eliminating possibilities went. Crystal finished writing up the report for Stevens and then took a moment to go over all the information about what had happened in sector six. It hadn?t been easy to stay focused on doing her job, especially since she would have rather helped coordinate the medical efforts being put together, but in the end she knew it wasn?t necessary as there were plenty of qualified people in sector six. In the end what had really surprised her was that civilians had been caught in the crossfire since unlike the military the resistance had always made a point of avoiding civilian causalities whenever possible. She put it out of her mind since she needed to talk to Stevens and a quick query to the system showed that he was in the observation room just off the bridge. It didn?t take her long to get there and after a brief moment Stevens opened the door and waved her in motioning for her to take a seat across from where he was sitting at the main desk. She waited patiently for him to finish what he was doing. Then when he was done he turned his attention to her. ?Crystal, I take it you have something to tell me?? She nodded, ?I do, after you left I went ahead and used the more potent truth serum. Then instead of focusing on her activities since she left the military I focused on verifying her time before that, looking for inconsistencies with her official records.? ?And did you find any?? ?I did, a single name, Will or William. Kim mentions him as being an independent merchant and yet searching the official records shows that there hasn?t been a merchant with that name in over four hundred years. Not only that there is no record anywhere of her actually talking to a merchant at any time. If such records exist they?ve been erased.? ?I see, that is interesting, anything else?? Stevens asked. ?No, when I tried to pin her down she regained control and told me to find my own answers.? Crystal paused and handed over a copy of the session on a chip to Stevens. ?Everything is on that in script format, however I?m inclined to believe that focusing on her time before leaving the military is pointless. The officers on the Tempest all testify to her being forcibly dragged from the bridge of the Tempest by the resistance at the same time Daniel, Jason and Celestia were rescued. I?ve reviewed the investigation from that time and it?s highly likely that until that moment she was not a member of the resistance.? Stevens reached over and picked up the chip Crystal had put on the desk. ?That's what I believe as well, I would imagine that Daniel or someone else convinced her to join after that happened. I?ll review this then, any thing else?? ?Not really, were you planning on continuing tomorrow? Or did you wish for me to take over?? She asked. Stevens shook his head, ?No, most of what needs to be done has already been taken care of. And considering what happened today finding out what she knows is critical.? Crystal stood up to leave, ?I?ll see you tomorrow then.?

Crystal tried unsuccessfully to stop a series of yawns as she headed to the transport room to head back to the Tempest. It didn't take long to see to Kim especially since she ignored any questions she had for her. And to be fair Crystal couldn't blame her. Usually she ignored her surroundings as she went through the Conqueror, but tonight she ended up watching the crew as they hurried along the corridors. The sharp sound of their shoes as they hit the metal flooring, the soft whisper of conversations that were not quite loud enough to be understood. The rustle of clothing from the crisp dark and light green uniforms of the crew. It didn't matter that the Conqueror was massive, there wasn't a corridor that didn't have at least several crew members on various errands. And mixed in among all that bustle were the small messenger droids, specially designed to move small things since transport doors could not be freely opened through out the ship. Unlike when she had first taken command of the Tempest, there were no second glances at her uniform that was a combination of the cut for a Military Commander and that of a Doctor. Not that she would have cared, but as she walked through a corridor that was floor to ceiling windows on one side, she couldn't help but notice how different she looked when she caught a glimpse of her own reflection as she walked past. Instead of the plain dark green with gold trim, she also had the universal medical symbol cleverly woven into the entire outfit so that a turn of the material caused it to reflect lightly to who ever was facing her. And the cape that went with it was of white instead of pale green with the medical symbol on the back in gold. Crystal turned her eyes back to where she was going instead of watching the view of Earth from space, another turn and she would be at one of the designated transportation rooms. She had already checked on the progress of the medical facilities being built on Earth. It was the one thing the resistance left alone. Everything else was fair game, except for Australia as it had been left alone. Though she wished they would leave everything alone, she was at least glad that who ever was in charge was smart enough to leave the medical part alone. Otherwise the humans would be suffering quite a bit due the chaos since most of the medical networks other than the largest ones had collapsed. Crystal entered the transportation room and got in line for her turn, it was a pity she was stuck assisting Fleet Admiral Stevens, she would have liked to have taken the time to tour the medical facilities and see how things were coming along. A moment later it was her turn, the technician merely waving her through as he already knew her on sight. A brief word wishing her a good day and then she stepped through to the Tempest. Crystal nodded to the technician there before heading towards the bridge to take care of some things before calling it a day.
