^ That won't be a problem for me, I have several tests coming up on Tuesday that I need to study for anyway. So I don't mind waiting. :catgirl:

I was rather fond of using Albel in my party and I ended up with what is known as the
Fayt & Albel ending.
The parts about the rest of the characters were a bit on the whatever side for me, but the final part right before the end where it shows you what
Fayt & Albel are up to now that the universe has been saved was just too funny. ^_^ [/spoiler']
I got the same ending. Hehe, it was priceless, I just laughed and laughed when I saw the part with
Fayt & Albel.
I haven?t started on the bonus dungeons though since I?ve been too caught up in playing Twilight Princess. But I definitely intend to go back and do so. Over all my opinion of the game is very similar to what you posted. The one thing that disappointed me in the end was the lack of a
finishing blow.
After the big revelation in the first part of the game that Fayt
was a type of living weapon.
I was expecting some sort of manifestation of that
ability to finish off the creator.
So that was a let down for me. Still as much fun as I had playing the game it wasn?t enough to keep it from being one of my favorite games ever. And I still think Fayt is absolutely adorable. :catgirl:

Crystal finished locking down the clinic and checking to make sure that everything had been accounted for. Since the destruction of the Transportation facility, Denver had come to a standstill. As a result of the investigation, people were afraid to leave their homes and only the major hospitals were receiving medical supplies. And the presence of the US military to maintain order since riots had broken out only made things worse. Since that day, not a single patient had come. She wasn?t surprised, the people were in shock, they believed that over three hundred and sixty people had died. They didn?t know that nearly three hundred of them had been taken. It didn?t matter to her; in the short time she had worked there she already had obtained quite a bit of data on the various diseases and health issues that affected the people. And she had already tagged a good number of people that had come to the clinic. The Tempest?s doctor Alex had also done the same by simply using cities that had public transportation to scan people for what she was looking for. Then those who were with him would simply tag them by shooting them with a modified disruptor pistol. It would sting, but other than that they would have no idea that a locator had just been inserted in their system. Finished with what she needed to do, Crystal transported back up to the Tempest. Jared and his group would be hitting eight targets today and she intended to take advantage of the chaos to pick up the ones she and Alex had tagged. She had already given the order and even now they were already being picked up. Crystal had spoken to Jared already and the next transport ship would be at Earth in just a few days. She paused briefly as she entered the bridge of the Tempest before taking her seat. She pulled up her report for the Conqueror and began to prepare it. Regardless of what the High Council had ordered she was going to do things her way. Their foolish idea to spread the research out would only result in issues. For what they wanted done, it was best to have all of them going at the same time, and to have several test groups started at different intervals for comparison. It would be easier to address inconsistencies if there was an active group being worked with. Crystal sighed. If only they had just come to her in the first place. I wish I knew which idiot came up with this idea. She thought, because council member or not, she would have let them know just how ignorant they were.

Well, now I'm depressed... we lost. :( Sandy did have a good point though. We didnt' even think about what we'd do if a new person came along. I assume that since Aaryanna has it saved and it's editable... All she has to do is go and rehost the new flag with the changed name. But then, we still won't be able to change the flag we have at the top of our thread. I thought the names was an excellent idea because everyone from just about every season of survivor put their names on their flag once they merged. I guess the only difference is that they were actually on survivor and we're not... :( Once again I regret having to vote this early, (especially since I feel like the odd man out) but no hard feelings right?
That's an assumption since I saved it in PSD format. I figured that for our banners I could strike out the name of the person who had been voted off or simply replace it with the one who took their place. >_< So I did think about that. I even kept the avatar in PSD so I could easily give a new person a matching avatar. I thought I was clear with the fact that I was saving the flag so it was easy to edit. :animesigh And now I have to vote someone out and I don't know who to pick.

A fair number of the recent suggestions are treading too close to being spammy and not really useful in helping the original poster in choosing a show. Other than to convey the message that you liked it so they might too. I?m going to pick you Allamorph to explain what I?m getting at here, nothing personal. ^_~
InuYasha is pretty popular, so you'll probably dig it.
Other than to explain that it?s a popular show you didn?t give any information as to what it is about. It?s pretty easy to give a little summary of the show since you can simply quote Anime News Network who has hundreds of anime shows listed at their site which include a little about each show. Here?s a bit from them on Inuyasha.
Higurashi Kagome, after being pulled down a well by a demon, finds herself in Feudal Japan, where she learns that a powerful jewel has been reborn inside her body. After the jewel shatters in an attempt to retrieve it from one of the many demons who was after its power, Kagome must join forces with the half-demon Inu Yasha (also after the jewel's power) to track down the shards of the jewel before its power falls into the wrong hands.
I'm sure you can easily see how this makes it easier for them to decide if such a show would interest them. Here?s another one from that site that explains a little about a show I would recommend, Fruits Basket:
Tohru Honda is a 16 year old orphaned girl who gets invited to live in the house of her classmate, the handsome boy Sohma Yuki, and his cousins, 16 year old Kyo and 27 year old Shigure. However, these young men and parts of the rest of their family (both close and distant) hold a curse; if they are hugged by the opposite gender, they transform into animals of the Chinese Zodiac. Everyday is an adventure for sweet Tohru, as she gets to know everyone in the large family better (especially Yuki and Kyo), in both common and bizarre situations. But, the Sohma Family curse is certainly no laughing matter... it also holds horrible cruelty and heartbreak.
So I expect everyone to start doing more than saying, watch this you?ll like it! Please try to at least tell them what type of show it is and a little on what its about and why you like it. For me I adore Fruits Basket since the interaction between the characters is full of innuendoes and downright funny. Especially when Tohru
accidentially hugs one of the Sohma?s and transforms them into an animal of the zodiac. And it?s too funny how they are naked when they transform back to a human since they fell out of their clothes when they transformed in the first place.
It?s got a good mix of watching relationships grow, seeing people get over awkward moments when you are growing up and lots of comedy thrown in to keep you entertained at the same time. Welcome to OtakuBoards Rikito Please work on your post quality and put more of a emphasis on discussion since here at OtakuBoards we try to have quality discussion in all of our forums. For example you could have take the time to explain why you chose the Captain you did or even a little about all of the captains. Simply listing one without explaing why they are your favorite is spam. A reason why most favorites threads are not allowed as they tend to be simple lists of favorites instead of actual discussions. So due to the spammy nature of this thread I am going to close it. If you still are unclear on the rules and such look on the left hand side of the forum and read the Rules and FAQ. Also please take a look at the [thread=55649]IMPORTANT how to post in the Anime lounge[/thread] sticky at the top of this forum to see more ways on how to post in the anime lounge. If you have any questions feel free to pm myself or another member of the staff. ~Aaryanna Thread Closed

It took a couple of hours, but finally Crystal was finished with the batch of humans they had picked up. It would have taken a lot longer if the Tempest?s own doctor Alex had not assisted her with sedating them as quite a few of them had panicked when they were transported to the Crimson. Out of the 307 that she had tagged, 298 had been picked up before the buildings had been destroyed. Unfortunately the remaining ones had been caught in the final explosion. She understood why Jared had sped things up, as it was his task to disrupt their shipping, but it didn?t change the fact that it still irritated her just the same. She sighed, in the end it didn?t really matter. By insisting that Jared modify the plan to accommodate what she had in mind it had made it possible for her to advance the timeline for the research the High Council had in mind. They had planned on starting one aspect and then another until they had enough to fulfill all three lines of research. By getting so many at once she had made it possible for them to start all three at the same time. Now all she would have to do is meet a smaller quota of expanding all three as the research progressed. Crystal pulled out her handheld computer as she was walking through the corridors of the Crimson towards the transport room, with the intent of heading back to the Tempest. She was too preoccupied to really notice any glances sent her way. Now that she had the research project underway she could focus more on making the plans for setting up the government medical facilities on Earth once it was taken over. If the Earthlings were going to be of any use, they had quite a few diseases and issues that would need to be resolved. The list she had kept growing every single day. She entered the transportation room and requested a door back to her own ship. Moments later she had stepped through and the door had closed. She greeting the technician there briefly before heading for the bridge as she needed to check in with her Sub-Commander before calling it a day. As she entered the bridge she shut down the hand held device and headed towards her seat. ?Commander, welcome back.? Crystal sat down before responding to her Sub-Commander. ?What?s our status?? ?The ship to transport the humans will be arriving tomorrow morning as planned. There are also two messages for you as well. One from the Catalyst and one from Sub-Commander Jared.? ?Carry on.? ?Yes Commander.? Crystal turned on the workstation in the side armrest of her chair; she pulled up a holographic screen and reviewed the messages. The grade B equipment did not concern her but she would inform her Sub-Commander of the specialist?s decision. Then she looked over the report from Jared, it was a request for specifics on the humans she had transported up. That would be easy, she had already been writing up her report for the three lines of research to be started. She would just send him a copy as well once she was done. She closed the reports and transferred the one she had been working on from her hand held computer to the workstation at her chair. A holographic keyboard appeared in front of her and without hesitation she got to work on the report.

I love it Aaryanna!!! I vote for the mercenaries flag! But, as I said before, it doesn't matter to me what we choose as long as we beat the others! And I really want to use that as an avatar... But I'll wait for everyone's decision. After all, if we end up being the purple cobras, I wouldn't want a mercenaries avatar; that wouldn't be very smart!
:catgirl: I'm glad you like it. I've made another version that I've sent to everyone that would fit with the other part a little better. So let me know what you guys think, or if someone else has made one show us what you've done in a pm. ^_^ I need to dash since I have to get ready for school, so I'll answer questions later today.

[looks at the previous post and giggles] I'm working on my next post but I've got a ton of homework to do plus I'm helping with the graphics for the OB Survivor, so I may not get it up until tomorrow evening or possibly Wednesday. The teachers have really loaded me down with work this week. So much for playing Zelda later tonight. :animesigh One final thing: Darren, I swear you and Crystia are off in your own little world! Good grief! Hehe! Reading what the two of you post is great fun! And that last one you did. I have just one thing to say: :animeblus From my prospective you got Jared's personality down perfectly.

I have to admit I actually prefer the Mercenary's one, the Cobras flag just seems to be a little too non-descript to me, sorry Aaryanna. Though in fairness they're both better than what I could come up with.
:p There's no need to apologize since I'm not anywhere as talented as some of the true graphic artists here. I think you'll like what Darren suggested for the other flag. Now in favor of shaking things up I'm going to do what some of the other groups have done...It's question time! :catgirl: What's your favorite animal and why? I think everyone already knows what my favorite is. *points to her avatar and banner* But after that the next one I love is cats. I love watching how they are so curious and get into everything and when they curl up in a patch of sunlight to take a nap, they are just too cute for words. What's your favorite hobby and why? Mine is reading. Because there are so many imaginary worlds to be explored. I never get tired of reading about them. I just adore fantasy novels and next would be Science Fiction, I've even read quite a few of the additional books written for the Star Wars series. Out of all the authors for that one, I've enjoyed Timothy Zahn's contributions the best.

And on that note, I guess we're still debating a team captain??? Well seeing as most have said Indifference, I don't see why I should break the mold... So it's unanimous, right? Lastly, I just want to say that I also have some skills with photoshop. (I took a class in school! ^_^) So Aaryanna, if you need any help when you're done with it all, I'm your guy!
Crystia it is then! Congrats! ^_^ As for the flag, I've already pm'd my first attempt to everyone. And if you see something you'd like to change just let me know, or you could whip up one of your own and then we can decide which one we like best.

I wouldn't necessarily call Yami's personality early on evil. [/size']
If any of the alternate personalities could be considered evil I would have to go with Bakura's alternate personality. It's been a while since I read it, but I remember what happened when he was introduced to the story. His alter personality
nearly killed everyone when he tricked them into being turned into figurines for a game, and even then if Bakura hadn't risked destroying his own soul they would have died.

Your part was perfect Darren, even the bit about the holographic technology; I didn?t think to do that. ^_^ I?ve set you up to take over Crystia, though if you want me to change the part where I had Jared set off the first charge, just let me know. Let the chaos commence! Even though I kind of feel bad about kidnapping innocent people for research, even if it is just a story! lol

My photoshop skills are alright, once we decide I can try and whip something up >_> Aaryanna would probably be best for the job, because her banners are always really neat =3 but I can contribute in any way you need, I'm not entirely photoshop-ically challenged.[/FONT']
Thanks! ^_^ I'll certainly do my best. As for the team flag, I can take all of the suggestions and produce several different ones that I can pm to everyone and at that point we can vote on them. Even though we haven?t heard from Darren yet I?ll at least go ahead and get started on them this weekend. I?ll just be sure to save them in a PSD format so I can tweak them if needed. So expect a flag representing the purple cobras and one representing the mercenaries. ^_^ That way we can see which one we end up liking the best.

Crystal could help but raise her eyebrows at the rusted worn looking vehicle sitting in front of the clinic. Since it was a Sunday, there was no one else there and it looked pretty sad and pathetic sitting there by itself. It was painted yellow and had numbers along the side, with the words Taxi clearly in black written on the side as well. ?Jared, that thing doesn?t even look like it will start let alone get us to our destination.? ?It will, it only looks that way due to the holographic projection,? he replied even as he activated his own equipment, changing his appearance to that of an older earthling with graying hair and old worn out clothing. She hadn?t looked at her reflection, but she could see how her own hair was now blonde and her outfit more of a medical uniform than what she usually wore. Darren didn?t look the same either with reddish brown hair and the change in his facial features making him look like he was much older. Something that Versilian?s did not start to show until they were well into their two hundreds. They did have holographic technology here, but not anywhere as advanced as what they had. Crystal had read and supervised part of Celestia?s interrogations when she was still a doctor on the Crimson. She had not finished developing the technology to the stage where it felt real, and even then it would require quite a bit of equipment instead of the tiny little projectors they had. But then Earth did not use crystal technology at all. Their sources of power were extremely primitive and limiting. It didn?t take long for Jared to drive them to the facility and drop them off, and due to the ground work of their agents, they were admitted immediately, the first batch of people were already waiting in one of the conference rooms set aside for their visit, concern in their eyes at the prospect of having been exposed to something dangerous. She immediately went to work, scanning the people for potential profiles to work with, those who did she herself administered the shot as it contained a tiny locator that would allow the Tempest or the Crimson to pick them up with a transport door once they were not near someone else. Those who were not suitable, she sent to Darren, his shots were nothing more than a simple saline solution and completely harmless. It didn?t take long and by mid afternoon she was almost finished. Crystal sighed inwardly, as much as she would rather not do this, she didn?t have a choice. It was the best way to get things started and yet not arouse suspicion over so many people disappearing. She knew that Jared was going to use explosives that were similar to Earth?s and yet far more lethal. The level of devastation would be terrible and yet completely confined to the complex. So it would be easier on them to believe that those who were missing had died. At least for now, once they took over, so long as she was in charge, no families with young children would be taken for the research. And even now, any female that showed signs of having given childbirth at one point were immediately ruled unacceptable, even if they did fit the profiles she was looking for. And if the High Council objected to that, too bad. Finally after spending close to six hours, she was finished. Over three hundred people had been tagged and according to the data feed from her glasses; over half of them had already been transported up. She had already gotten the input that Jared was done and in the clear thirty minutes ago. When the last person left she turned to Darren. ?Lets go, our ride should be waiting for us.? She turned and headed to the main gate of the facility with Darren close behind her. After checking in briefly with security, she and Darren then left through the main gate, just as he said in the message, Jared was already there with the car waiting for them. Without a word she and Darren got in, saying nothing as Jared drove them back to the facility, taking a different route and using a spot that was secluded to turn off the holographic projections. Now instead of the beaten up yellow car they were in a fairly new white four-door car that was actually smaller than the projection had been. Another moment to drive to and then park it in the lot behind the clinic, remove the projection equipment and then enter the clinic to transport back up to the Crimson. ?Just a moment before we head back,? Jared said with a smile. ?I?ve already done the hacking for me to contact the authorities in this area from the ship, they can try tracing it with their primitive equipment but it won?t do them any good. But that?s not why I want the two of you to wait.? Crystal watched as he pulled out his handheld computer and entered something into it. A moment later the muffled sounds of a huge explosion could be heard, followed by an actual vibration that they could feel in the building they were standing in. ?Jared!? Crystal started to say. ?Relax Crystal. No one was hurt in that blast; ? He turned to show her the screen on his handheld, the scene of the now burning warehouse shown from the vantage point of being viewed from the Crimson. Even on the little screen she could see people running outside to see what had happened. ?I just thought you two might find it interesting since this building is close enough, you can feel the vibrations through the ground as they head outward.? ?Don?t you need to be in place to call in the threat?? She asked. ?I will,? Jared said as he opened up the transport door. ?But I intend to give them fifteen minutes to panic before I call in the threat.? Crystal sighed. ?I?ll be on my way then since I need to go prepare the people for being transported to the research facility.? She turned her back on both of them and stepped thought the transportation door.

Lets see, a bit about me right? Well I?m a fourteen-year-old female and High School student as well. Though I?ve audited college classes before and if my Mom could afford it I would be going there instead. I loved those classes! As for what I like to do, I love to read. ^_^ It started when I was about seven and realized that I couldn?t read the words in a non-picture book very well. I proceeded to drive my mom and teachers nuts by asking them to help me read the words and find out what they meant. After several months of being pestered my mom took me to the bookstore and got me my own dictionary and some other stuff to help me as well. Hehe I spent hours and hours attempting to figure things out, so in a sense, other than the basics I taught myself to read a lot of stuff. As for what I want to do, I eventually want to become a vet or a technician at a vet clinic or even run my own grooming or pet shop. ^_^ Right now all I do is occasionally help some of the elderly neighbors by walking their dog for them a couple of times a week. The last couple of years I?ve gotten into anime and video games, which eventually lead to here. I didn?t really search around as SunfallE told me about this place, so I joined myOtaku and then wandered over to OtakuBoards and signed up. I haven?t gotten to the boy crazy phase yet; I just don?t see the attraction to wearing nail polish, makeup and dating. Meh, I?m sure that will change soon enough. As for the Team captain I agree with having Crystia/indifference as well. ^_^ I also like the name The Purple Cobra?s, since I like the color purple as well. I?m not the best at doing graphics but I?m willing to at least give it a try! I should at least mention that in spite of what Sandy says about the name not describing us well, there is definately a good history behind the name Desbreko, in addition to being the user name of the great Des himself, having founded the Desbreko fanclub... research showed that the Desbreko is one of the monsters found in The Legend of Zelda: Majora?s mask. Similar to the Skullfish, the Desbreko is larger and more vicious. They have no stomach to fill, but they still enjoy inflicting pain on the living. Once it senses you it will pursue you and hurt you as many times as possible. So that's one dedicated and determined and downright mean fish! ^_~

She'd had her breast buds for 9 years, and it might have been nice to see her choose new lying positions in response to her changing body. Who's to say it would've been less comfortable? She may have even been more comfortable with breasts.
Nice for who? Or more importantly, why do you care? You?ve already explained what you believe, others have said what they believe and it?s pointless to keep coming back and trying to convince the other person that they are wrong and you are right, since in the end, it?s still your personal opinion. I?m confused as to why people are still focusing on this. I see indifference?s point, we need to respect each other?s opinion and quit trying to make the other person see it our way.
This could help you understand why the majority of the public AND scientists disagree with the parents' decision. As it is now, I stand virtually alone, the only representative of the side that believes the parents have done something in the least bit wrong.
The majority does not mean that they are right. It means that a lot of people think the same. It?s getting so much attention because it?s new, the parents are trying to do what they believe is best and anytime something new like this is done people get upset. Obviously not everyone disagrees or they would have never found a doctor who was willing to perform the procedure. I don't see anyone changing their opinion so lets do as Retribution suggests and end the debate as the way I see it, it was over a long time ago.

Crystal wrinkled her nose at how things smelled on Earth. It was one thing to read about how pollution smelled and yet another to actually experience it. Most of the worlds they had taken over had not progressed to the level that Earth had. And their own technology was different; a lot of the side effects of producing them had been pretty much eliminated due to the fact that there were strict regulations in place to keep things from contaminating the planet. They had already learned the hard way how easy it was to destroy the environment of a planet. Though what they had in mind for Earth wasn?t much better. She finished checking out the office and equipment at the office since shortly she would be seeing patients. The groundwork for establishing her as a non-profit doctor was already in place and the sheer number of applications had been a bit surprising. There were so many people who didn?t have insurance and the cost was ridiculous. She had more people waiting than she could even see in one day since unless they were literally dying they simply couldn?t afford it otherwise. She sighed to herself. And this was supposed to be one of the better places to live on Earth. What was going on in other poorer countries was just sickening. Well no matter, that would change shortly. Crystal picked up the small handheld computer that had been made just for her to use here so she could easily coordinate with what was available to treat people. It was fitted with a genetic switch like the glasses to keep unauthorized people from accessing it. She was preparing to have them send the first patient in when a knock from the door to the back part of the facility caught her attention. She opened it to find both Jared and another man with him. Both of them were dressed in Earth styled clothing. ?Good morning Jared, what did you need?? Crystal said. ?It?s good to see you again Commander Crystal,? Jared said with a little bow. ?It?s been a while.? ?Jared,? Crystal said. ?Get to the point, I have work to do.? Jared laughed, ?Still as blunt and to the point as always.? He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek. ?I love that about you.? Crystal folded her arms across her chest, a stern expression on her face, ?And I see that you still like to surround your self with handsome men as well.? He laughed again. ?Ah, but this time it was the High Council who chose him for the task, not I.? He said with a wink. ?Though I won?t deny that they have good taste.? Crystal turned and took a second look at the other man, now that she thought about it, he didn?t have the same body moments of an officer in the military. ?Who are you then?? She asked him. ?Darren Anderson of Anderson Shipping.? Darren replied to Crystal?s question. ?I see, come here please,? Crystal requested as she reached up to turn on the glasses to scan him. It only took a moment to identify that he too was a Versilan, but why did someone who was not in the military have a translator installed? Crystal turned off the scanner and turned back to question Jared. ?Who installed the translator?? She asked. ?I did.? Jared replied. ?I see, that would explain why there is a tiny bit of infection.? Crystal crossed her arms in front of her chest again giving Jared a look that said he was an idiot. ?Jared, next time make sure there isn?t anything going on first. It?s not serious, so he?ll be fine, but make sure you have the doctor treat that when you are done for the day. If I had the equipment here I would do it for you.? ?Of course Crystal, and my apologies as I did not think to check for anything before installing it.? Jared replied. ?You wouldn?t, since it?s pretty rare to have issues. And the actual infection was there before it was installed, and even then it?s something that he would have gotten over on his own. But with the translator irritating it it?s best to be on the safe side? She replied. ?Now get on your way before I kick you out as I have a lot of work to do.? Jared bowed again and turned and left, taking Darren with him.

Do you think that the parents' unwillingness to see their mentally deficient daughter develop into a sexually viable human being didn't play a part in their decision? The decision reeks of shame.
Do you think your unwillingness to accept that she never will be a sexually viable human being is part of the confusion here? The idea that the decision is shameful is your opinion and nothing more. There is nothing shameful in treating individuals to the best of our ability to improve the quality of life.
You cannot successfully predict breast size before breasts grow. I can't even believe you're arguing for this! What do you think was going to happen? Are her breasts going to blow up overnight like a peep heated up in a microwave? If they become too large, one can get breast reduction surgery. No, they didn't want to wait to see if it would ever actually become a problem. They didn't want their child, who THEY want to always be a child, to develop breasts, ever. The parents were ashamed of their daughter becoming a woman, so they sought scientific and moral support for their decision to permanently keep her from doing so. If you want to buy it, fine, but it makes me want to vomit. I don't empathize with monsters who mutilate their children. The only part the girl's physical discomfort plays into the parents' decision is as an excuse for them to avoid their own discomfort with their brain-damaged daughter developing secondary sexual characteristics. Disgusting.
How in the world could you even know what they wanted? This isn?t a case of they wanted their girl to never grow up, you?re making this into an issue of they wanted a little girl forever when that?s just not true. How is making her comfortable mean that they are ashamed of her becoming a woman? If she had no brain damage and didn?t have any issues they wouldn?t even consider doing what they have done. You keep jumping to the conclusion that they are uncomfortable with her development somehow, something that unless you are the parents you don?t really know. Stop talking as if you know what they feel.

Your exactly right because my mom like to fight about how bad I am and my dad disagrees with her. So not only does my mom get mad at me, but so does my dad because he had a fight about me.
No he's completely wrong. No matter what you have done, on some level your parents are supposed to be the adult and blaming you for their problems is anything but grown up. I?m sure you make mistakes like anyone else but if your age is correct in your profile then for your mother to claim she is leaving the family because of you is downright selfish. Her problem is she is taking her anger out on you when the problem is she is angry because your father doesn?t agree with her assessment that you are bad. Maybe you are, but in the end, if she does leave, it?s her choice regardless of what?s going on.

I hope no one minds that my posts end up being so long.
No danger of that. :catgirl: Anyway, just as a point of reference, the clinic I was reffering to also has a room for anyone transporting down unseen from the Crimson as well as the Tempest. Also part of my objective was to choose a city in the US with mountains for our starting point so I choose Denver as you can see in the link. I'm not really familiar with it as I have never been there, but I would imagine that doesn't really matter.

If you use FireFox, clearing out your private data can fix the problem. Just go under tools to do so. I've had the same problem where I've uploaded a new image and it still showed the older one as Firefox was using what was in the data instead of what was current. Another way to force it to refresh would be to hold down the shift key while pressing reload. See if that works, since I see a picture of a fairy in a bottle too. ^_~

Crystal resisted the urge to rub her eyes, knowing full well that the itching feeling would be gone by tomorrow morning. And though she thought the effect of deep blue eyes did look nice, she really preferred her natural silver color. She picked up the case one of the engineers had dropped off at her quarters and opened it up. Inside was a pair of what humans often wore called glasses. She had no need to correct her vision but if she was going to select specimens to be shipped for the research the High Council had in mind, she would need a way to actually scan them. One that was easy to do and wouldn?t arouse any suspicion, once the world had been conquered it wouldn?t matter. She placed the glasses on and reached up with her right hand to touch the side of the glasses. Seconds later on her side both of the lenses activated provided her a very small screen for viewing. The left would be for scanning for certain genetic profiles and the right for general health and diseases. She checked her own hand to make sure that they worked before reaching up and touching the same spot again to turn it off. She took the glasses off. It had worked perfectly. Not only were they designed so that only the side facing her face would show the transparent screens, but the person looking through them would have to be close for it to even show so no one from the side would notice anything either. And she had worked with the engineer to make the switch for turning it on so it responded to her genetics alone. So someone else wouldn?t accidentally turn them on if she were not wearing them. The tiny crystals embedded in the sides would power it for years and to an earthling it would look like nothing more than a gaudy decoration. Crystal placed the glasses back in their case and went back to reading the work she had pulled up on her workstation in her quarters. The agents on Earth who had been keeping an eye on Jason?s sister before she vanished had already set up a clinic for her and hacked the systems on Earth to put the documentation in place for her to be working legally as a doctor there. She had already spent hours become familiar with how things were done on Earth because she fully intended to treat people as if she were, the only thing she would have to be careful about was not exceeding what they were actually capable of treating. Which all to sadly was quite a bit, that was one good thing that would come from being taken over, even if they would be considered property of the Versilan Empire, they would be given proper medical care. Something that often ended up with a good portion of the population accepting being taken over as like Earth, many places were guilty of putting profit before the health of their citizens. They were too blind to see that the lack of proper health care and loss of work was in the long run far more costly than the medical treatment ever was. They took better care of their animals they raised for food in that respect. But in the Versilan Empire anyone who could not afford medical treatment could go to any government sponsored facility and receive it. Crystal had been responsible for overseeing part of their construction when sector twelve had been taken over. She turned her monitor off. It was time to get some rest as they would be arrive at Earth in less than a day. And once she did, she would have her hands full once she transported down to Earth. At least she would be doing what she preferred to do, work as a doctor instead of playing at being a commander of a battleship. Even if it was one of the smaller ones.

In an extreme case such as this, I don?t understand why people are being so rude to the parents when they are trying to do what?s best for their kid. Not only are the comments about her having sex when she gets older downright stupid, but the way activists are up in arms trying to get the doctor in trouble by saying he violated her rights, something I read in the paper yesterday as you can see here:
Activists condemn surgery to stunt disabled girl's growth CHICAGO -- Activists are demanding an investigation into treatment performed on a severely brain-damaged girl whose growth was deliberately stunted to make it easier for her parents to care for her at home. Critics want an official condemnation from the American Medical Association, which owns a medical journal that first published the Washington state case. They also want state and federal officials to investigate whether doctors violated the girl's rights. "It is unethical and unacceptable to perform intrusive and invasive medical procedures on a person or child with a disability simply to make the person easier to care for," said Steven Taylor, director of Syracuse University's Center on Human Policy. Taylor said that the treatment was essentially a medical experiment and that a hospital institutional review board should have been consulted beforehand.
Is just stupid in my opinion. I could understand if they were concerned about it not becoming a standard procedure, which I understand it is not. But to act like they were experimenting on the girl when her parents and the doctors were trying to do what was best for the girl, it just makes no sense to me. Their whole argument is that her rights were violated when it?s painfully obvious her case was not just one of a making it easier to care for a disabled child. I certainly think stunting a child?s growth shouldn?t be used very often, but if a case warrants it I can understand why they did it.
