Ouran's one of the few anime that litterally made me laugh out loud. It's sooo funny! It reminded me a LOT of Furuba in its style of humor, only it was better. It's definately one of my all time favorite comedy anime. The way the humor was done was EXACTLY my style! slightly smart, a bit stupid, some romance thrown in, perfect. The animation was gorgeous! as per usual with Bones doing it. My favorite characters were definately Kaoru and Hikaru towards the end, with a side of Honey-sempai!!

I've personally never been to a convention, this year will be my first one! I'm going to Megacon, it's supposed to be one of the largest in the southeast, I can't wait!! Vic Mignogna's going to be there, Sean Austin ((Sam from LOTR))'s going to be there, Lex Lang and Sandy Fox are going to be there too!! I'm soo psyched!! *dances*

I probably will spend it how i usually do, hating it. I've always wanted to go to school and find a rose in my locker or something, but let's get real here, it's never going to happen. Fortunately Megacon's that weekend! ^_^

Everyone's given really good advice, I've seen some really bad advice in threads like this, so rock on. ^_^ I agree, if you're after her on looks alone, chances are its not going to go very far. This sounds lame but if you blush at her name, try talking to her just a little here and there first but practice what you're going to say first so there's no stuttering. Then when you do ask her out because you know her a bit better there will be less akwardness on the date. If she says no, just roll with the punches, say that's cool and ask her if you guys can still be friends, so there's always a chance in the future for you. Good luck.

Lostprophets - Liberation Transmission Why? Lostprophets has done a lot of diffrent stuff over the years and their newest album, Liberation Transmission, debuted this summer, is no exception. Their main solo, "Rooftops" was the first of theirs to hit the no.1 spot on the top of the UK album charts. From their amazing lyric correlation and rough grunge like guitar solos, Liberation Transmission is a cd you will never tire of. Easily the best CD I bought all year. If you looked at lostprophets once and didn't like them, their style evolves with every album. Look again. Best songs: - Rooftops, ((obviously)). - Town Called Hypocrisy - Can't Catch Tomorrow ((Good Shoes won't save you this time)) - Broken Hearts, Torn up letters, The Story of a Girl - Everybody's screaming!!!
Ah yes... First of these memories came Pokemon. It was mid-1999 when I first saw it on UPN. I remember setting the alarm on my watch to 3:30 because that was when Pokemon came on. Also, that was also how I got into Sailor Moon; Sailor Moon was on right before Pokemon was. Unfortunately, I only saw ten or so episodes of that before it went off-air... When I first heard about Digimon, I first thought it was a ripoff of Pokemon... but then a year later I became a big fan of it (well duh--where do you think my username came from?) Another good old TV anime I remember is Cardcaptors. I would watch it whenever I could, but then they stopped airing it... :bawl: And, when it went off the air, Yu-Gi-Oh replaced it. Now, when Yu-Gi-Oh first came out, I thought it was a ripoff of Cardcaptors and thus boycotted it for a while. Then later I got into it, fell in love with Pegasus and the first season in general, started collecting the cards... and as I speak (err, type) I am wearing a T-shirt with Seto Kaiba and a Blue-Eyes White Dragon on it. Hey, who says Fox Box and 4Kids TV sucked? I watched it all the time, and still do. I was a big fan of Fighting Foodons in the Fox Box days, but my favorite is and always has been the Kirby series. Well, I was interested in the Kirby video games before I became interested in Pokemon, so Kirby really was the start. And then there was one week ago where I saw the last episode of the Kirby season... *sniff* I hope that still airs... But oh well, if that is off the air as of now, I still have Magical DoReMi... and the first season of Yu-Gi-Oh is on 4Kids TV now! Yaaaaaaay! But my all-time favourite was always Pokemon... The Pokemon anime, especially, is not the same anymore. The first season is my favourite season, and contains all my favourite characters (except Harley--who is one reason why I sort of like the newest seasons)... And then of course I groaned when I saw the new Pokemon coming in Diamond/Pearl... (well, except Muumaaji which is my new favourite Pokemon) Things are not the same anymore...
Pokemon. I loved Pokemon. I was the Pokemon Queen at age 9 when all this stuff was hot. I have over like 400 cards, the movies and the games. I remember when I'd wake up early to see Pokemon on UPN 44 or Sailor Moon after it. I'd be like half asleep but i was totally addicted. I first started on anime though with Totoro, I had it when I was really really little on VHS. I watched that tape tons of times. I recently looked into CCS to see what the deal was and saw it in Japanese...So much better than the english. Li-kun's sooooooooo cute. I was also a Digimon addict when I was younger, Gatomon and Patamon were my favorites and I still have the beanie babies of them. I wubbed them and Digimon, that stuff's not going anywhere ;)

Finally! An american made cartoon that doesn't make us look mediocre. Avatar's incredibly well done, with two or three times when i'm watching that show I have to double check that it IS infact Nickelodeon that made it. You can tell though, it's got a heavy western dialogue to it with anime style thrown in. I watched it for my last year long project ((anime's influence on animation as a whole)) and got into it a bit. It's definately better than more of the other things i'm co-erced into watching by my younger sister. So yeah, Yay for Avatar! ^_^

Lol, my first and only style of dance is Dance Dance Revolution. :p Seriously though, my best friend took a ballroom dance class and loved it. Dance is really good for you too and it gives you more coordination and grace. ...Obviously, Eureka-chan can't dance to save her life. :animecry:
I don't think you can truely love someone from first sight. You can fall in love with an image of someone (that you've seen, say) as an ideal, but then you start building up your own fantasy of what they're actually like, and you're basically falling in love with something false and/or intangible. Like all these fangirls who actually believe they're in love with people like Johnny Depp.
I totally agree with the aforementioned post. I mean, I can say I'm in love with Edward Elric, but that doesn't make it real. I think that love develops over time and experiances with that person. You know you fall more and more in love with someone because you can just feel it. The affection grows and grows.Despite everything that they do, that happens. You just know. It's a bond that goes above and beyond anything else. You don't love that person because of the way they dress or what kind of car they drive, you love them because they are themselves. You just fall in love with the person's soul.

My name's pretty self explanitory. I was Kotoko Hikari, but when I realized I'd misspelled "Kokoro" after I returned here a million years later, I had it changed to "Eureka" after my newest anime obssession. ^_^

Eureka Seven. ((YAY)) One of the best animes I've picked up in awhile. It's very Evangelion-esque minus the extreme insainty/some of the psychological aspects. Here's what Tv.com said: "Renton Thurston is a 14-year-old boy, who leads a normal, yet boring and uninteresting life with his grandfather mechanic at a backwash town. One day, a mysterious mecha LFO referred to as the Nirvash typeZERO comes by their garage, and the pilot within is the most beautiful girl Renton has ever seen. But the next day, her arrival has attracted much of the United Federation Forces, and she is forced to stop them at any cost. Renton however makes the most life-changing decision in his life. Will he make it, and will he get the Amita Drive to the pilot of the Nirvash?" It's actually got much more to it than that, It's kept my attention in every episode and the character development's excellent. The music's awesome as well. It's definately an anime that's worth looking into.
