Anime Dating Anime Characters: Would You?
Sasuke04 replied to ChibiHorsewoman's topic in Otaku Central
Okay, we've done the which anime/Manga characters would you want to date. And we've contemplating who we'd never want as a roommate under fear of homicidal tendancies either to ourselves or the co-occupant. We've also tried to figure out which anime couples could and couldn't work. Well, now I'm curious-who could you never consider dating. Whether it be just plain being seen in public withthe person, or the fact that you worry about homicidal tendancies-either theirs or yours. Just make sure it's not a spammy thing. As for myself I have quite a few people on my Do not call list: Rubius from SailorMoon-I'm guessing this one would take too much time in the bathroom. Oh and his laugh and obsession with pink bunnies would drive me up a wall, over a balcony and down a yellow brick road. Masao of Mars-Hmm let's look at the pros-He's kinda cute. Now the cons-HE's homicidal, sadistic, and crazy. Oh, did I mention he's killed people? Well, the cons outweigh the pros so he's a no go. And for the last one of the night-Naraku-The baboon pelt is enough to drive a girl off, but let's go deeper, shall we? He got people to turn against eachother. He kills to get what he wants, and he's a klepto. Oh and he likes to make threats to people. Yeah, this is one I'd take home to meet the family. Thank you but no, I think I'll stick with what I've got.
It depends what i would say is that there are some anime characters out there that i wish could become beautiful because they would just be absolutely gorgeous :D -
I'm wondering if any of you watch it. I just finished watching episode 7 and damned if it didn't make me cry.... So anybody into this particular anime as much as me? From what I've seen so far this anime is incredible. The character development, plot and artwork are great. If you haven't seen it yet...then get busy!
I owned it on disk before it got even close to being liscensed in america.......its awesome ive watched the whole series there really is no other anime like it. If you think 7 is good wait until the story really ties together just wait until you see the end.
Hey i just wanted too know others opinions on what anime has the best story. I think in my opinion berserk the anime has a good story and great character devolopment. Im hoping for a second season.
I would have to say the anime with the best story would have to be Full Metal Alchemist. That story actually has meaning and sacrifice where they are sacrificing so much to gain something. I think it is one of the most realistic stories because we all do that everyday and they took an anime and did it. Not to mention the anime is just good. I had it on cd before it ever came out in america and if you think full metal alchemist is a bad anime than you dont know what good anime is. Another anime that had an excellent story is Wolf's Rain that story is just fricken amazing that whole anime is just amazing.
DBZ started out as Dragon Ball. And although the anime involved a lot of wind blowing, I think the Manga was pretty well done. Actually, I think Akira Toriyama was a great mangaka. The series just doesn't translate very well into TV. Also, remember how old it is. It was a phenomenon back in the eighties. Remember who the target audience is. Your argument for this is just like saying Blue's Clues sucks because it's always the same. Well, it may suck for you, but it's educational and fun for the kids. Pokémon is fun for the kids and teaches morals. I just don't think you should go around insulting a series without taking account who it was meant for. If it was meant for children, don't expect it to be Shakespeare. I do believe there are overrated Anime out there though. An example is Inuyasha. I believe the series is overrated by dubbies who believe it's the greatest series in the world. It's an ever lasting journey that never changes, and worst of all, is predictable and boring. >.< But that's my opinion only, I might have to watch more episodes to have a less biased approach. An underrated anime is Mobile Suit Gundam. The newer Gundam series, mainly Gundam Wing and Gundam Seed are widely accepted by fans because the animation is pretty new. Though, the older series has the same emotional punch (with less soap opera influence) and was good enough to spur a hundred sequels. I think it's biased against because of the animation. -ArV
The whole dragon ball series is gay...well it was good until i learned what good anime was.lol Dragon ball is good while your ten years old.
My favorite is Naruto because it has everyting that I want in an anime: action, comedy, great music, likeable characters, and a decent story. Second would be Neon Genesis Evangelion.
Naruto really is a great anime it is also one of my favorites. I also like chrno crusade,Onegai Teacher, Samurai Champloo, and full metal alchemist...I like all of these because of the great story lines also some of them are just plain hillarious but at the same time cool and collected. I like all types of anime comedy, action, romance and all of these atleast have one of those if not 2. :animesmil
