OOC: Ah! I'm soooo sorry I haven't been here guys, I've been pretty sick the last few days... T_T I was on strict order of bed rest thanks to my mum... >_> Serapha, partially bitter that she was left with the rest of 'The Grey Owl' group, sighed as she hid high in the branches of an oak. How rare it was to find such a good tree around these days. It made her almost sick how aweful the land was... But she was okay. Everything would always be okay for her. After she had been abandoned by her family at such a young age as four, she rarely cared much for life--- of death for that matter. Her descent from the large tree was a quick one as she landed silently on the balls of her feet. She hurried and slipped on her shoes--- guard duty for her was over, and the next Owl was incharge of the position. 'Well,' she sighed, watching the next Owl exit and prepare their ascent into the oak, 'I hope the leader's having more luck in whatever that White Tigers' leader wanted...'
Good characters everyone, I need one more to be the Grey owls...we had someone at one point but I geuss they droped out, I'll Pm him and see if he still wants it.
Perhaps I could take their place, no? Name: Serapha Reviere Age: 18 Gebder: Female Apperance: Somewhat short, measuring at just 5' 2'. Long,black hair that's held back by a greay, black, and white bandana. Dark, almost black eyes and pale complexion. She's got a woman's body, but remains thin. She wears bleak/grey/white camo pants and a black halter. She has numerous wrist bands each matching her black, grey, and white theme. Around her neck is a black choker with a white and grey owl eye upon it. Personality: Very calm, rarely ever loses her head. She's laid-back and can be fun when around people she trusts. Works hard to not seem childish, but fails. She's not one you'd normally imagine in a gang, but she's a hard-core, mysterious fighter when it comes down to it. Gang: The Grey Owls Skills: Stealth, Code Breaker, Master Bluffer Weapon(s): Fist Fighter and Whip Master. Bio: She rarely ever speaks outside of childhood friends... And still, that's rare. She works hard to make a life for herself in the whirling world of gangs. Death has taken its toll on numerous people she's loved, and she has ceased feeling that particular emotion since the death of her best friend, Riley. She is currently never seen with anyone besides one or two peopel in her gang at a time. Numerous attempts to kill her have been executed, but she's made it out alive, making her one of the most respected gang member in the Grey Owls for a loooong time.

I was born on July 10th, which just so happens to be Jessica Simpson's birthday. I better be careful, otherwise, this may be me in the future: "Is it Chicken, or Fish?"

I'm a subbie. I don't mind the English Dubs, but they leave out SO much, and they also give a lot of characters the most obnoxious voices... >_> The only thing that I don't like about Subtitles: I'm too lazy to read an entire movie!!! T_T I enjoy animes, no matter what they're in as far as languages go... but... dubbed < subbed *shrug* I mainly stick to mangas anyway, so this isn't a big deal to me... otherwise, I'd most likely be a Sub-Snob.... ^^;;

I found the Otaku.com a few months ago. I occasionally came on to check out the graphics, and when I realized there were forums, I joined in a heartbeat. Oh, how did I find Otaku in general? I typed in 'Anime Fanart' on the google image search, and the original page the artwork was on was Otaku. :3

I feel that love is an emotion seen in numerous different ways by many people. It may be a powerful, sacred thing to some, and then to others, it may just be a random four-letter word. I feel that I have yet to experience love... I'm sure that if I experienced it, my naiivitivity would blind me from seeing it until I looked back in retrospect. Per 9 haps, I believe, love is an emotion that no one knows until they experience it more tha n once. Not just romantic love, either--- all types of love! Their perception of love grows as they meet people and adapt a bit of that person's perception of love. So the more you love others, the more you grow to understeand love.

I'm a big fan of Star Ocean Till The End of Time. I like the length of it---- very long. The battle system is soooo fun, and the characters are really nifty. It's fairly challenging to me, and I like how it easily becomes addictive. I don't know very much about the game since I'm still on disk one of two, so yeah. But I do have an addiction, and it's hard to pull me away once I get started with it. Definately a game I'd suggest for Summer Break... or just people with a lot o' time on their hands. :3

Gravitation is my favorite, and has been for a long time. I never really got into the fad of shonen ai, yaoi, etc., but I do know that Eiri Yuki is a total Bishonen... :3 Hahaha, just kidding. Well, not really, but that's not my only reason for likeing it. I like the plot a lot, and the romance is fabby... It's very nifty manga, and the crazy American with a gun rocks my socks. Definately two thumbs up if ya ask me! ^_^

Since just about all Animes in America seem to be way over-edited and extremely badly dubbed, I am faced with either the Manga or subbed Anime. It's not that I don't enjoy subbed anime, because I really do. They have moving people instead of just comic frames, which is nice, and I get all the details of the storyline. However, I never was a fan of reading movies. It doesn't suit me. So, a couple months ago, I decided I'd try out Mangas. I borrowed my friend's Chobits set and was totally amazed. The mangas are amazing, and the dubbed Anime seems to take out alot of information, or delay in in some cases. The art in the manga is good enough to rival the graphics of the anime. So, I figured I'd try out a few other mangas--- Imadoki! for example, which I'm not sure if the Anime is avalible in America yet. Yuu Watase wrote it (if the name's familiar, it's because she wrote Fushigi Yuugi and a few others...) and it was a masterpiece. The manga was beautifully drawn and the onomotopeas were thouroughly entertaining. That's something the Animes don't have. I'm sure that when a dubbed version of the anime reaches me, I'll most likely be disappointed as I was with Chobits and Fushigi Yuugi. However, in the case of D.N. Angel, the anime was, somehow, more enjoyable for me than the manga. I'm not sure why, maybe it's because I haven't read the manga in ages, but the anime was really brilliant. There's a few others I'm forgetting that are like D.N. Angel, and since I often lean towards Anime, subbed or dubbed since I'm too lazy to read, I think I perfer that to Mangas. Mangas are amazing, they really are, but for a bum like myself... meh, I dunno... ^^

Anime Which anime u think has the best story
Renegade Minx replied to egutsu's topic in Otaku Central
My Top 5 Favorites 5.) Naruto. Ninjas are always a plus to any storyline, but I think Naruto puts a cool lil' twist on Ninjas in general. Very nifty plot here. 4.) FMA. I like how it shows from time to time that no matter how much you sacrifice, certain things just aren't meant to be. 3.) Fushigi Yuugi. Very good character depth, nice storyline, and romance. That's two thumbs WAY up in my book. 2.) Chobits. I really like the entire idea of the show and manga. I won't give away spoilers or anything, but I feel that it's a very sweet anime with amazing characters, mysteries as to Chii's origin and a case deeper than just a regular memory loss. I really REALLY love it to death. 1.) Any and all Miyazaki movies. (i.e., Princess Mononoke, Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Tortoro, Castle in the Sky, etc...) They are simply amazing storylines that take you on great adventures and involve amazing magic and in some cases, even romance. Each and every movie is unique but they're the same in a way that makes Miyazaki movies different from all others. Definately my favorite storylines are any of the the Mayazaki movies. :3 -
Come to think of it... I don't think I'm a big fan of Chocolate candies... Sure, cake is good, but Candies are kinda powerful... *shrug* But, I'm a sucker for Starburst. I love all the flavors and all that jazz. THey really rock my socks off! ^_^

I find that to be sick beyond all reason. I don't blame the Christian religion, though. Some people, be they Christian or not, will be disturbed by the entire subject of Homosexuality. However, in this case, Christianity seems to be the dominant reason for his going there, which is pathetic. Zach is what he is, and if his parents don't like that, there's really not much they can do. Speaking as a person with a few homosexual friends, there are very few people that would become straight merely because they are forced to wear clothes people think they wouldn't, or they are forced to cease practically all human contact. That, to me, is the most peculiar "treatment" I can think of. Want to help Zach? Then accept him for what he is. That's my advice to his 'rents...
