yea i seen replays of what i guessed was dragonball with goku fighting piccolo anyway, Goku has just fought Chun. it's harder for chun than he thought. But as i'm back at work tomorrow i'm going to miss who wins it ended with Chun doing some mysterious weird eye thing. he'd just doe hs drunken boxing. so how exactly does chun win?

i really should've done this at the start, but i typed in super battle in the world in the IMDB and it brought back tree of might, and said "super battle...." is the USA title. either way, it was quite cr*p, what with the weird voices and piccolo being called "big green" and Kai being called "sire"

hmm thats interesting. Why does Roshi surrender to Tien? Is Tien really powerful? and at what point does Goku learn to fly?

the other (super battle in the world) thread can be deleted if need be, as i've just watched the DVD ok this movie is just weird, and awful. SPOILERS..... it starts out the pig (oolong?) getting muck on his face. He's camping with Krillin & Gohan & Bulma. Krillin has an unbalivably girly voice, as does Gohan. (this is English dubbed by the way) while on the theme of voices, Goku's is soooo deep compared to usual. Tiens sounds almost robotic. Goku's twin sounds the same as Goku. As for names, Gohan is said like, gohAN, Goku is like gok-oooo. And as for Piccolo, well, there is no Piccolo. They call him "big green" ???????????? in the movie, Goku and gohan take a bath together Gohan finds a new friend (dragon) a hell of a lot is taken out of this movie to be used as a later DBZ intro (Gohan turning into an ape, Goku running quick with his arms out to the sides, Goku fighting a load of guys blocking their hits, Krillin standing on a tree stump firing off a disc to name a few. Gohan gets his head squeezed, looks at a fireball and turns into an ape then he beats on Goku and only stops when he see's his dragon friend. The evil guys is called (and characters say it differently) Turles/tarlz/tarz ?? he looks exactly like Goku. somewhere at the start, a robot spider like thing gets fired into the ground, and it runs off. Turles bites some fruit off a tree and becomes amazingly strong It ends with Piccolo, oh, i mean "big green" meditating by a waterfall. oh, he also calls King Kai "sire" and some other name which i forgot,, but something like master or sir or something. What is this movie called? Because i'm guessing "[i]Super Battle in the World[/i]" is the UK version for it.

SPOILER~ ahhh, i'm guessing that this is the first. It would explain why Jackie Chun was perving on Bulma. I didn't know it was Roshi, but then Roshi went missing so it would explain things. Krillin has just beaten Bacterion today. So why does Goku end up watching the final? Why doesn't he take part? Who's in the final, and who wins the final?

as i work most days of the week i'm going to miss a lot of Dragonball. Today i came home early to find that some tournament has started Goku, Krillin and Yamcha have just made it to the finals. so basically as i'm probably going to miss it, i want to know what happens. how far does Goku get, same with Krillin and Yamcha, who beats who? and at what point does Piccolo arrive?

is this the same as Tree of Might? I've been collecting movies/specials from amazon.com but when i saw this in HMV for the first time at £12.99 i thought i'd buy it as it's cheaper than buying from amazon. But i'm not sure if it's tree of might or not the back mentioned a seed from the tree of might, but when looking on amazon.CO.UK people give this reviews and start talking about Garlic Jr. :confused:

well i found a link that gave some info on DB Gaiden, and it showed pics, and had about a 120mb download for it. But i didn't quite get it. I wasn't sure if it was a movie to be made, a movie to be scrapped, or even a game, because it was talking about game consoles but i hear what you're saying about sounding like AF anyway can anyone help out on when 9-13 will be available to buy off 'respectable' sites?

reason this is addressed to everyone is simply because yes there will be die hard fans here who will read this and be like "so??? i knew this yeeeears ago, i'm such a DBZ god" but there'll be others who don't know anything about this. I want something legit where i can garuntee being sent what i buy. QUESTION 2: What do you guys know about Dragonball Z Gaiden? Is it another movie in the pipeline or something? as my last 2 threads got closed pretty quickly, i really hope this one is allowed to stay open. At least until my questions have been answered well. #1 in what movie do Vegeta and Goku do the fusion dance? I've been buying movies lately and i've not seen them do it in any Bardock, Trunks, Broly, 13, 2x Cooler movies. They've not done it. #2 from reading posts on various boards, i'm getting the impression that Broly doesn't have only the one appearance. How many times does he appear and in what? #3 hmm there was a couple more but i've forgotten

i dunno, maybe cuz someone could know this and just go #1 #2 #3 and so on?

I've seen there are other movie threads on the front page here, but i took a quick look and saw that my question wasn't really answered in them, so thats why i'm making this. I notice there are a lot of rules here so i hope this isn't breaking one of them. Basically, i want to buy all the DBZ DVDs that weren't the normal episodes. I think there are 13 movies? Can anyone list them from #1 to #13 please? Also, are there any other extra DBZ DVDs on top of the 13 movies? I searched DBZ on cdnow.com and it only brought up episodes as a result. I knew the title of a couple movies and sure enough it listed them but not when typing DBZ. Anyway, i've got [b]The History of Trunks[/b] and [b]Bardock The Father of Goku[/b] and the other day i ordered both Cooler movies, the Android 13 movie and the Brolly movie. But could someone please just list them all?

This is aimed more at the people who have seen them all, rather than those who have seen one or 2. If you've seen them all, can you rate them from best to worst please? And if you've seen one or 2, can you say if the ones you saw were good or not? I just bought History of Trunks and the Bardock DVDs. Had to get a multi-regional DVD player to play them. They may not be fantastic, but i enjoyed them both. I want to buy more. I heard the Cooler ones were good, but i wanted to know the best-2-worst order. thanks

[b]one question i forgot[/b] : Goku talks about a guy supressing his powers, hiding them, and he'll be in the tournoment, and "earthling" who is it? I'm guessing Goten, as he's half human?

1) how did u feel when u knew the end of DBZ was coming? It's really close now, over here in the UK, and it kinda feels anti-climatic. I remember watching it and thinking how crap it was, then i got hooked. That must've been about 2, 3 years ago, back in the Freiza saga when that was starting out, Goku being killed for the first time. But it just feels anti-climatic, probably cuz i dont want it to end, lol 2) todays episode ended with the martials arts tournoment starting, with a balding Hercule being garunteed victory (how annoying is that?!) As DBGT {:rolleyes:} starts on Monday, it wont be showing too much of the tournoment. So i was just wondering for a spoiler request, to be told what happens in it. What happens to Goku, Vegeta, Goten, Trunks and so on.

had a fe Qs earlier today, lets C how many i remember * when Goku and Pikkhan (forgot how to spell it) first meet, Goku sees Pikkhan beat Cell and Freiza and King Cold with ease, where Goku had just struggled to compete with Cell. Then when Goku and Pikkhan battle, it's fairly even. That doesnt make sense to me. * how does Goku SSJ3 fair against Kid Buu? Thats tomorrows epps over here, so a spoiler request i did have about 2 other Qs where they didnt make sense, kinda like the first one in this, but i've forgotten them

no, they weren't cloud things. When Goku is on his way to that tournoment, he's there with his body, and there's all these cloud like things. Well the others didnt look like cloud things. It would've been better to have talking clouds :D

k thanks. From your first answer, i'm taking it you mean they're alive because he has use for them, whereas he had no use for the others i mentioned. Then again, Dabura was quite powerful, so surely Buu would've had use for him. Hmm, confusing my guess is, it's all just mistakes, potholes, unless someone knows otherwise?

ok, now i'm wondering something Dabura, Videl, Chi Chi and Bulma are in heaven (with funny lookin tail things). Now, they all got eaten by Buu. They're looking for Gohan. Well, Gohan Piccolo, Trunks and Goten also got eaten by Buu. So why aren't they there also? And another thing, in a previous epp of DBZ, someone said that if you go saving lives etc, then you keep your body, otherwise you just becomes a spirit like thing. Well, Dabura, Videl, Chi Chi and Bulma haven't saved anything, so how come they have their bodies?

I've already seen this 2) is when he says to Goku that something like "you really are Earths greatest fighter" somethin to that effect. When does he say this? k, a spoiler request again...... how does the fight go? what i'm lookin for is to be told like (dont read on if u havent seen mystic gohan vs buu) with mystic gohan vs buu, i'd say :::::::: gohan comes back, beats on buu, buu can't touch gohan at all. Buu runs away to work out what to do about it, buu absorbs gotenks and piccalo, is too strong for gohan, goku comes back, buu absorbs gohan basically something like that. So how does the fight pan out? and i saw somewhere someone said Vegito looks more like Vegeta. I really dont see that. When i first saw Vegito, i saw more Goku in his appearance than Vegeta. Although i only heard him say a few words, i also heard more Goku in his voice than Vegeta.

i was just sat lookin at some clips when i thought....... Gohan is now amazingly powerful, but still can't beat Buu. Why not go Super Saiyan and be, i dunno, Super Saiyan Mysitc Gohan? Then he'd be able to beat on Buu once again It'd make sense. Or maybe i'm just reading too much into it. lol
