Dred rose to his feet as the presense seemed to be swirling around them. If felt almost ominous and threatening, but at the same time, almost familiar. Dred was struck with the thought of it being the man in red, but he couldn't smell the rot, so that theory was out. But then who was it? It was familiar. It then hit him. He looked back to the others "Don't move. I'll be right back." With that said Dred jumped out of the circle around there cozy camp fire. As he passed beyond the light of the fire it was like he had passed through a wall. The wind just beyond that point was like the torrent from hell. He felt as if he might be swept away, yet at the same time his long coat was undisturbed. He was spot on, this was all a psychological attack from someone he knew all to well. Dred called into the wind, or rather, this disturbing pressure "Come out already." Then Dred reached for his back and pulled from his belt a pair of gauntlets. They were black with long horns and claws protruding. They seemed to eminate evil itself "I've had enough of your games." The pressure rapidly faded at the command and a black silhouette appeared in the distance. At first it was only a small spec, but it grew larger as the figure drew closer. While it approached, a new, much more frightening, presense accompanied it. Dred held his postion, not flinching to the horrible evil in front of him. The figure seemed to stop only 10 or 15 feet away from Dred and simply gazed at him. The presene from both Dred and the silhouette seemed to resonate with each other in an odd fashion. The figure waved his left hand and both it and the dark presense were gone. It was at this time that Dred noticed someone elses approach. Whoever it was, was obviously not a threat and seemed much more benevolent. But still it seemed shaken as it approached from behind. It was at this moment that Dred realized that he had not dropped his guard, as he was still permiating his sinister aura. The restocked his gauntlets and turned to the figure behind him. It was Kay. She must have been concerned and decided to leave the relative safety of the light. She had a look of absolute horror on her face "What was that? What happend to you?" She asked him with her voice still trembling. Leave it to a priestess to realize it was his aura' Dred thought to himself. Dred ran his thumb along the collar of his coat and smirked "Don't worry. He won't heckle us anymore. I'll deal with him tomorrow." He started past her and he could tell she wasn't really satisfied with the little response he had given, but she was too shaken to want to ask anymore of him. He continued on back to the others. He then stopped in between where Kay stood and the rest were still gatherd around the fire "But this doesn't change a thing about our other problem." Suddenly the air became thick with the smell of oil, blood, and gun smoke. They had been followed by someone and they had lead a great number of soilders into the valley. What was once there safe haven had become a cage with only one exit.

I can remember it now that I see the past of my life. I was once known as lord Loki. In the face of the final battle I chose to take the side of our brave emperor. I had seen many of my brothers fall in this war already, be it to a sword or conversion to the traitorous lords of the revolution. I was tired of the blood shed and death. Both me and the emperor had seen enough. I could only imagine how it hurt our emperor to have to kill his own lords, who had once regarded as his own children. But now he had to forsake those who would dirupte the peace of this world simply to incite new war and renew old glory. I lead the front lines and charged with what little forces remained on both sides of this terrible conflict. The once utopian world we had once were so close to building was now but a shell of what it once was. It was nothing but a burning mess of rubble and wastelands in place of forests. As the two sides charged into the final conflict it felt as if the world was falling apart beneath there feet. I would stand by my lord no matter the price. The emperor would be the one to stand alone to the lord of clouds. The traitorous leader of the revolt. I took his right hand and lead in to combat with the lord of war himself. I was the lord of knowledge, my combat skills could never compare to his, but his brutish temprament would be his weakness. I was no weakling and would not fall so easily to him. I would charge in to the battle feild and would never again know of this worlds fate, for I would fall in this battle. As in our final desperation we slew each other in one last strike after three days of combat. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It has been so many centuries since then, but still this world is only at half the greatness it was all those years ago. I now stand in yet another mighty kingdom of the savage man called Rome. It's land spread far and vast and they seemed to worship warfare. They even use it as a form of theater in there mighty stage in the capital city. It was almost a hundred years ago, but I remeber well where it was that my memories returned to me. And where I was forced to recognize my status as an immortal. I was a general for the still rising army of the Roman empire and we were on the spread through the lands of Europe. I was leading a capaign that I new would end poorly, but I was under the command of a new emperor and he was not as wise or kind as the one I had known in my earlier life, but to this point I was still unaware of all those things from so long ago. As I had predicted our forces fell to the savages of the northern territories. We were simply to few and they were to many; our fate was decided before we even arrived. As I lay face down on the red battlefield I began to realize this was the end of my days, or so I thought. With a sudden jolt I felt the strength return to my muscles as I seemed to rise to my feet almost out of impulse. I looked about myself, still unsure of why I wasn't dead with the rest of my men, as my mind slowly filled with the memories of my life passed. I realized that the life I lived now was a limitless one. A life that could last for eternity if let on it's own, but I knew that was not right. I knew many others like myself would be alive somewhere. Though I also knew it would be impossible to just find them. They could be anywhere and exist at anytime, just as I existed here, they might not exist for many more centuries. Or perhaps even those who came before me. I rememberd well the battle of my final days and knew what it was that needed to be done. If I met my brothern, be they brother or sister, I would have to kill them for the sake of a prize I was not fully aware of at the time. I soon came to understand it better as when I returned in defeat I was, instead of hailed, dishonored and sullied and even threatend with death. I left that place and now live the life of a simple vagabond, never knowing where the winding roads may lead. All I do know is that at the end of this road waits an enemy that I must kill and I don't even know who he or she might be. I was once know as Lord Loki in the days of the Atlantean empire, but those days have gone. I am now of the name of the mortal couple, and the name given to me at my rebirth was Vitus Secundinus.

At the end of the day it all comes back to the same simple fact, most any anime fan your going to meet is generally a dork. It's a stereotype, and it's not something that's going to go away. And it's not even that off on the true scale. A good chunk of anime fans are nerdy, out of shape, and lacking in any true social skills. I know because not only am I one, but I spend almost all my time with other anime otakus. We spend all our time talking about anime and manga. That's not to say this is the only way you see anime fans. I have recently started to kick myself into shape and I even enlisted in the army, proving that not all amime fans are losers and geeks. There is that percentage that are, but you get that in almost anything, so it's easy to over look. For the most part you'll see the reason comic fans, gamers, and anime fans all seem to catch crap from everyone else has most to do with the fact of poor preconcieved notions that animation of all kinds is for children. I don't know about you guys, but I would never let a child watch something like "Elfen Lied" or read a comic like "The Watchmen". In all honesty, most modern animation is begining to gear toward an older crowd and in japan it has already started securing prime time slots on major networks. It may take a few years, but I'm starting to see a similar movement here in the US. It's just a matter of time and soon anime fans will become the majority. It's already starting to happen. I've converted many friends to the anime ways and they have never gone back. In short, we're not all nerds and losers, though some honestly are, and they know who they are. But soon we will rise beyond this lowly station to a much highed and largely excepted station. The Nerds Shall Rise To Glory!

It had been almost a week since the great man who introduced himself as Lord Zagh and had requested his assitance. Aaron wasn't the type to just through himself into a fight, esspecially for another kingdom. But the threat of someone else falling into power could bring disaster to all the kingdoms of the world, so he saw it was a worthy mission. Aaron knealt down to say good bye to the children one more time before he set off. Even through his expressionless face the children knew he wanted to stay and so they pleaded for him to do so. He continued to explain why it was so important for him to do this. And with a tearful good bye from the children and a final word with the sister he set off with his bag flung over his shoulder. He was off for the White Fire kingdom. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ It had been three days since leaving the orphanage and the White fire kingdom was in sight just ahead. Once there he was to hand the guard at the gate his letter and he would then be escorted to the tower in the center of the city where he would meet his fellow crusaders. He knew little about what the rest of them would be like except for the fact that they were all highly skilled in there arts. This was both comforting and intimidating in a way. If they felt the need to pull so many forces from all over like this the the size of this threat must have truly been great. Aaron arrived at the gate and was immediatly greeted by a rather large guard. He handed over the letter, to which he was then usherd through the gate and into a small carriage which was black and had absolutly no windows. This was a bit disheartening since it kinda looked like a it should be used to escort prisoners. Without question he stepped inside and let it wheel him away to the tower where he was suppose to meet these others. His "allies". Upon his arrival he saw two people just preparing to enter the tower. One of which he recognized right away as the one named lord Zagh. Aaron in a calm tone called out to him "Lord Zagh of the White fire kingdom." The man turned to face him just before entering the tower along with the young girl standing next to him, who seemed a little upset for some reason. Was she suppose to be one of his partners? If so the look on her face was not a good first impression. The lord then waved him over "Ah yes, master Aaron. Please come this way. Were on our way to meet the others."

I'm fairly open to both subs and dubs, I just have preference to the dubs if I can get ahold of them. I have nothing against subs, and in fact use it in my studies on the japanese language. I'm presently watching Bleach in subs, again mostly because there is no dubbed version yet, but that's still a great way to see the series and it works just fine for me. The only otakus who really believe you need the subs to really appreciate it are in the earlier stages and have yet to come to appreciate some of teh finer dubbings out there. Let's face it, there are some pretty damn good ones out there. And there not that hard to fine either.

I will second that motion. I have made it my personal goal to keep my parents as minimally involved with my personal life as possible. I didn't even let them know I had a GF until almsot four months after we started dating and I still don't let them know what's going on between us. My brother made the msitake of going to them once and now two years later they still feel the need to push out these unwanted tips and tricks. It's more then you ever want from your parents.

The swirling of the water settled as the air was now filled with deep black smoke. Xarnock motioned his hand and Arlac returned to the water and seemed to dissappear with almost no disturbance to the water. Xarnock stood still for a moment, but then the commotion of the above ground came into focus in his ears. To this he finally moved, taking his cloak back up and putting it back on as he moved through the dark corridor. He could finally smell fresh air of the outside growing closer. He had found his way through the dark hell of the sewer, but now the hell that awaitied him outside was just as real. As he moved through the door at the far end of the hall and walked out into the dim twlight of the alley he could already smell the dark vapours coming together. As if they had been waiting in for him to come out. Maybe they heard the cries of there brothers in the sewers. Once again Xarnock called for Arlac to join him, but this time he merely took off his cloak and commanded Arlac to hold it for him and to keep it from getting ripped. The beast nodded and seemed to dissappear as it rapidly ran off and faded from sight. Xarnock dawned his gauntlets once again as the air soilders and the knights from before in the sewer. They were followed by the mages and grunts who stayed closer to the back. Xarnock's gauntlets seemed to permiate red from the crimson cracks in them. The scales seemed to shimmer. The two seemed as if they were crying out in pain and rage. This didn't detour the air soilders even a little bit, as they swooped in for a direct attack. They seemed to collide with Xarnock's claws and dissapate just as rapidly as they approached. It seemed like he didn't even need to put forth the effort into killing them since they seemed to be more then willing to kill themselves. He needed only place his hands in the right place at the right time. After the last of the air soilders were gone the knights started to move in like a single wall of black and metal. Not wasting any time, Xarnock charged and, instead of attacking the knights, he jumped over them and started after the mages and grunts. The mages attempted to fly higher, but weren't moving fast enough. Many simply teleported away, while the grunts simply faded to the ground and scatterd. The knights then turned and charged at Xarnock this time. Xarnock shredded through the sheilds of the last of the knights and those who couldn't run had been shred back to vapour. Suddenly a deep rumble and shaking began to approach from the far end of the alley leading out into the main street. The large body became very appaerent as it waddled it's way into the alley. It's huge form blocked the whole alley, eliminating all means of escape other then to go back through the sewer. That was fine by Xarnock, he had no intention of going back, and was quite excited by the idea of getting to fight a real challenge. The large monster waddled after him with all it's possible might, and it moved quite fast for such a large and akward seeming monster. It slowed, but then threw all it's weight at Xarnock, who then leaped back to let the beast fall flat on it's stomach. The beast hit the ground with a thud that cracked the concrete beneath it. Xarnock prepared to move in on the beast and strike while it was down, but the large body recoverd very quickly and was back to it's feet first. He probably could bring it down if he just rushed in and shreded it up, but then it might rip his clothes. He stared down the monster for a bit, but then one of the back doors leading into the alley way opened up. A beautiful woman appeared in the door way and she looked out into the alley. The monster fixed it's gaze on her and prepared to move, but as soon as it's eyes fell off of Xarnock he moved it and severd the beasts legs off, which was followed by it's right arm and then a final slice down the face. The monster burst into a black cloud and was gone. Xarnock gave a final backward look to the woman in the door way who seemed oddly unaffected by what she had just seem. Xarnock payed her little other mind and simply left the alley and moved on to the town center. He called back for Arlac who seemed to come down from the sky. Once again recovering his cloak and putting it back on as he moved into the streets where he would probably meet his fellow organization members.

I'm definitely interseted in this idea. I like the idea of tapping the bermuda triangle, esspecially since I ony live a few hours from Ft. Lauterdale in FL where the now infamous flight 19 took off from and it's also one of the corners of the triangle. I'd like to see this go up in the inn and when it does you can count on me to apply for a spot.

Ashen had left shortly after dealing a beating to Des or Cass or which ever one of them it was, but that didn't matter to Shun. The matter stood that he had gone after one of his friends and that was more then too much. Shun and Toshi had only arrived following it and saw Ashen walk out of the class in his cold, care-free way. When Shun walked in he saw Des layed out on the ground and it was all to obvious who was behind it. Shun watched as Fayza quickly followed off after Des on his stretcher. Shun told Toshi to go with her, she was going to need some kind of support. Toshi was hesitant at first, worried about what Shun might do in the face of such an incident, but then decided to do as he said and went off after Fayza. Shun left the room, not bothering to hang around anymore. Shun started off for the front gate of the school, he knew he would see him there. He knew he couldn't fight him and hope to win, but he couldn't just let it go, he had to do something. But he wasn't sure what he should do. Shun stood by the front gate, debating what his next action needed to be. To fight him as he was would be suicide. Which would be a meaningless display in this world where death could come in the form of an enemy or a lover. There was only one real option, but it wasn't one he really wanted to face. It's not like he had a choice, he would have to face Urahara again. That crazy bastard would undoubtedly rub it in his face to. But he was the only one who could give him the strength he needed to win. Shun simply turned and stepped out the gate and without a look back, hoped on his bike and roared away for Urahara's antique shop. Urahara Kisuke, the last man he had ever wanted to face again. There was no doubt that the two adopted brats of his would wreak hell on his bike if he left it there for them. Urahara Kisuke, the man who tought Shun how to fight as a child so he wouldn't die in the Underground. He was the original owner of Shun's black katana and the only one who could use a sword to it's fullest. Shun pulled in front of the shop and kicked out the stand on his bike and walked up to the front door. Before he even knocked on the door once, the door swung open to reveal a man in a tan poncho and an old fishermen's hat and an old pair of wooden sandals. He smiled at Shun "Shunsuke, my boy. You've finally returned." The eccentric man reached out and pulled Shun right through the door. Shun had fallen into hell once again, but he just going to have to bear throught it, he needed the help more then anything right now.

I'll go with Momiji on this one. It has to do not only with your feelings, but hers as well. This might be something you want to discuss with her. Though I can hardly be one to talk, since I kinda rushed into my own relationship, but now were working our way through it and getting better and a little bit closer all the time. So take it from someone who has some experience with going in too fast. This needs to be a team effort from both of you. You need to go to her and ask her how she feels and if she thinks there is a chance that the two of you could have a future together.

I'm a big fan of the video game series and I wasn't too terribly dissappointed in the movie. Mind you, there was plenty of room for improvement, and I would have like to see them remain a little more faithful to the original story, but hell, it was better then most other video game/Movie adaptaions. That's right I'm looking at you Resident Evil. The monsters may have seemed a little off, but lets face it, for fans of the games, we all know how screwed p the monsters in the games are anyway. There were even a few I recognized from the games, which was kinda cool to see. I liked the fact that they didn't leave a gap at the end, as if to try to lead onto a sequel. The story was pretty sparce and kinda jumped around every few seconds, but the video games aren't a whole lot better. There pretty jumpy sometimes too and can also lack in the plot department. Overall, for a video game adaptation, this is one of the better ones by far. If they can make a Resident Evil sequel, then there's no reason Silent Hill shouldn't end up with one of it's own. There are so many faces to that damn town, they could make a whole saga about it.

To this point, I am unimpressed with the next gen. systems. They made such a hype and the XBOX 360 isn't half of what I hoped for it and the PS3 is looking much the same way at this point. Microsoft has traditionally had poor sucess with console system. I personally think the first XBOX was a fluke and there slowly going to slip back into obscurity once again. The biggest dissapointment is PS3. For as much hype as it's gotten, I've yet to see anything that has blown me away. It hasn't hit stores yet, so I'll with hold my judgement until I actually play it for myself. But in all honesty the only one I still have faith in is Nintendo. From what I've seen of the other two, I'll admit I'm worried, but right now there my flicker of hope for the future of gaming.

Xarnock had set off on his own, moving through the deep sewers of the world known as Traverse town. He had only been here for a short time, but the shadows around him were already begining to swirl. These false shadows were the heartless lying wait, looking for weakness in this cloaked figure before them. Xarnock stopped in his tracks and reached for the neck of his cloak. With a single fluid motion he threw off his cloak. He reached back and armed his gauntlets and stood strong for there first strike. But to his surprise, they never moved on him, they simply hid in the shadows. Xarnock didn't let this impead his progress. He was set on a mission to locate and secure the keyhole from these hideous monsters. Even though the water was running, he could still hear Arlac following him through the water stream. Xarnock cared little for him, as did Arlac for Xarnock. They simply had the same goals, that's all there was to it. The growls in the shadowy sewer ways were coming from every concieveable angle, but none of the growls would move for him. Not only were they dark, but cowardly as well. Suddenly the sound of metal came out of the deep shadows, and it was approaching slowly. The shape and color of the beast came into veiw slowly. It was wrapped in armor and carried a sword, like some kind of proud knight. Like these beasts know anything of pride. As the first appeared it was joined by others of identical appearance. The first of them made and almost jovial dance as it thrust it sword in Xarnock's direction. To this all the others charged at Xarnock. Xarnock slammed his left hand and smashed one of the swords being weilded by the one of the little monsters. He then proceeded with is right hand and severd it's arm, to which it burst into a cloud of black smoke and faded away. The sewer was rapidly becoming crowded as more and more began to appear. Xarnock closed his eyes "Arlac, rise." The reptilian monster jumped from the stream of the sewer and landed beside Xarnock. Xarnock placed his hand just above Arlac's head and spoke once again "Tear them up." The water of the sewer began to swirl as the reptilian monster named Arlac went about it's murderous business.

Name: Aaron Tellis Age: 28 Gender: Male Race: Human:1/4Passerine Physical Features: Height: 5'9 Weight: 120 lbs (He is lent a light frame from his Passerine remnants) Eye color: Yellow (One of his Passerine remnants) Hair Color: Silver (Another Passerine remnant) Place of Origin: Platinum Kingdom Appearance: Aaron. He wears the clothing seen in the pic for the most part and doesn't care for contemporary clothes much. He has a pair of birth marks on his back where his wings would have been had he anymore passerine blood in him. Despite his size, he has light bones left over from his pesserine decendent, which means he can move quickly, but can also be much more easily hurt. Loyalty: Iris Magic Type: High level Elementalist specializing in fire. Personality: He is seemingly impassive. He carries no distinct expression beyond that of a slight scowl. Despite his rather tough exterior, he is a bit soft at heart. Of all things, he likes children and even spends his time working out of an orphanage. Even though he doesn't show any real emotion, one can udually tell how he feels simple by the temprature of the air. Being a fire specialist, the air gets colder when he's sadder and gets warmer when he's excited or mad. That's about his only give on the emotional level, otherwise he's a rock. The only time he ever smiles is when he's in front of the children. He tries to be as pleasing and as kind hearted as he can possibly bring himself to. He claims he doesn't try to seem hard or cold, he just doesn't feel comfortable smiling all the time. He's not a depressed or even angry person, he just looks the part. He's not much the type to talk about himself. He has no problem mentioning his lineage or his childhood, he just doesn't offer it up. He'll let you know if you really want to know, but if you don't ask then don't expect him to tell you. Weapons: He weilds a black katana. He uses the light weapon as a channel for his power, as well as an immediate form of attack. With his light frame he is capable of fast attacks and high jumps. Coupled with his power over fire, it's almost like he can fly, jumping at far as 200 yards away and 30 yards up. His agility is something to be feared as well. Short History: Aaron was born in the Platinum kingdom, in one of the inner city districts. It was not the most glorious place to live, and it gave nothing in dignity, but it was his home. His mother worked in the red light district, from which he was a product of business gone bad. His father was half Passerine, that's all he really knows about him. He wasn't that uncommon. In fact many of his childhood friends were born under much the same circumstances. Most not knowing there fathers either. His mother worked constantly and he lived in there small apartment, just outside the district, but only by a few blocks. Sometimes his mother even brought "work" home, to which she would give him whatever take out she had gotten for the night and send him off to his room. When he was 12 he began his studies to become and elementalist. He trained under a local master, the two met through rather akward circumstances. He was one of his mothers at home "projects". One would think this would turn him away from seeking him out as a teacher, but that was a roll he was used to seeing men in. It was the only contact he had with any kind of father figure was through the men his mother brought home with her, which happend two or three times a week at this point. When he turned 17, I mean the DAY he turned 17, his mother finally passed away from syphilis. She had only been sick a little while, but it didn't take long for it to take it's course. Of course following her death he had no where to go, but this too was common. A night girl dieing from an STD and leaving a kid behind was a norm in the world he lived in. He had honed his skills as an elementalist, and unlike his teacher who specialized in air, he took up his skill in fire. He was beyond his teaher and was now training himself on his own. He had been on his own for only a few weeks when found his way to a small orphanage on the other end of town. This place quickly became his home. He was already too old to be one of it's children, so he asked if he could be a volunteer. He told them that he would care for the children and act as the body guard for the orphanage as well. The orphanage was run by a small chaple who was all to happy to have Aaron come to there aid. Even with all the time he spent there he never came to be a terribly spiritual person, much to the surprise of the nuns, who were also surprisingly understanding. To this day he lives there and hopes to continue doing so til the day he dies. But as of late he has been approached for help. People asking him to aid them in there quest against a great evil rising in the kindom to the south. Though he is a pacifist by nature, he saw the need for combat and has taken up arms to aid these new comrades in the fight against a traitorous evil.

Shun was just finishing up in the showers, his right arm was still sore from his fight with Ashen, but it was gonna hold together. His towel wrapped around his waist, he was getting ready to get ressed and leave, but then he saw Toshi standing in the shower next to his. She smiled to him, and before she even had time to wave him over, Shun dropped his towel and walked in to the stall with her. He pressed her up against the wall and thrust himself inside her. She brought both her legs up off the ground and wrapped them around him. Shun leaned back a bit and kept his member thrust against her, still holding her to the wall. He set his left hand on her breast and massaged it lightly, then leaned in and began to kiss her. As his tongue rolled about in her mouth he started sliding up and down against her body. Toshi finally broke the kiss and started to pant and moan as he pushed on her harder and harder.

Clark woke up and pushed his way out of the sand and got to his feet. He looked around and saw that he was still alone. The others must have gone somewhere else for the night. Clark walked back off to where the fire from the night before was burning. The fire had long since gone out, but he could hear the others going about there business. So Clark sought them out so he could find out the game plan. It was then that Clark heard a loud shriek. It sounded like a young girl "Avian" CLark started running into the forest and several minutes later came across what seemed to be piles of wreckage. It must have been from the plane. He could already smell the less fortunate passengers in there somewhere. He called out to her "Avian! Are you out here!" The girl came out from behind a tree and waved to Clark "Over hear. I just found something interesting" With that said Clark ran over to her. She showed him the drink cart, to which Clark helped himself to a beer. She then told him about the strange man who had seemed to do the same. Clark thought about it for a minute and realized that it was strange for a grown man to leave a young girl alone in the forest like that "Guess he doesn't like kids." Avian got huffy at that comment. She obviously didn't like being called a kid. Clark was one to talk, he had hardly grown up since he was 14, so he was in no place to critisize her.Clark apologized to her and then asked her for a description of the guy she saw.

After disecting Koha, Shun continued on through the labyrinth in search of his true enemy, Ashen. But the more he traveled the more enemies he found that wanted to get in his way. His once black blade was starting to turn red as the blood of his opponents started to dry on it, making the blade dull. He had to stop and clean it more and more frequently if he wanted any cutting strength. He ran through the halls til he saw him standing there, Ashen. He was coverd in the blood of many others who had fallen in his path before. Ashen was a truly vicous beast. He held a long, silver straight blade in his right hand, it to was streaked in red. Ashen turned to face Shun and smiled at him "You seem like you were having fun. Care to enjoy a good fight with me?" Shun brought his sword up into his offensive stance and stared back at Ashen "Let's just do this thing." Ashen charged in and struck with a hard right swing. He already had Shun on the defensive and it was only the begining. Shun put some agility to work and as the next swing came at him from above he rolled to his right and came under Ashen's right arm and drove his sword straight up for the underside of his arm. Ashen rolled his wrist and blocked Shun's sword, he then stepped to the right and swung for Shun again. Shun rolled clear of the strike. Ashen was still smiling and then even laughed "You know you and me have alot in common. Why don't you join me?" Shun kept his mouth shut and his eyes focused. He kept his sword pointed straight for Ashen who then sighed "I get it, you got a thing for that bitch who's trying to bring down the underground. Alright, but that'll pass soon enough. And when you realize what your real passion is, come looking for me." It was only seconds following this that the final bell rang and the match had come to an end. Without another word Ashen turned and left. Shun kept his guard up strong until Ashen was out of sight. Once gone Shun went to one knee and grabbed his right side. He wasn't sure when, but some how during the fight Ashen had clipped him on his right side and right arm. The bleeding wasn't bad, but the bone felt like it was splinting. Who the hell was this guy? It he was really that strong, this was going to be a rough trip.

The group was still goin on with the converstaion on what to do. Clark put in "Well first of all, we need fresh water or were not gonna live more then a few days. There's a stream not to far from here. We should leave in the morning and take whatever we can to collect some water." The one named Avian nodded "That sounds good. Then after that we need to move into the jugle and see if we can't find some kind of civilization. Even it's just some run down building." With that said Clark got to his feet "Well, I think that's all we can really do today. I'm gonna go find myself a soft spot on the beach and go to bed. It's been a long day and tomorrow is gonna be even longer." He turned away and gave a light wave over his shoulder as he walked away from the group. To think he had already started to place trust in people he had just met. For all he knew one or more of them may have been involved in the plane crashing. Despite what they said there was no way to be certain, but also knew he couldn't possibly survive alone on this island. If it wasn't the elements or some animal or an injury or those "cannibals", then he would probably go insane from the solitude. There was something about this group that he had found that just seemed off. He couldn't quite put his finger on it, but it felt kinda like de javu. It was weird, maybe he lived near a beach back home. He still had a hard time even remebering where that was. He didn't know where the plane was taking him, and now the remains werer scatterd about insde the forest. Nothing about this whole thing boded well for them. It was like someone wanted them dead. This was all to much thinking for the hell of a day it had just been. Clark cleared his mind and began to dig a shallow hole in the ground. He dug a roughly five foot long and one foot deep hole. He then laid himself down in the hole and pulled all the surrounding, left over sand on top of his body. He pulled a large clot near his head and set himself down for the night. Tomorrow was going to be a big day, one that hopefully offerd some answers to there questions, but there were no guarantees.

Name: Darren Elsman Nickname: Link Age: 28 Gender: Male Side: Federation-Capatin Personality: A calm demeanor, with a mild mannerd tone about him. He has high leadership skills and is very social. He is very accomidating to his crew and his highly respected. He is light hearted and is able to laugh at himself as well as others. He holds a high stance of morals and expects his crew to abide by them. However, he has little tolerance for pirates and other social lowlifes and is quick to the sword in times of combat. He is a man of action when action is called for. Appearance: Darren. He is about 6 foot and weights in at 175 lbs. He prefers not to dress in the traditional garbs of a captain, he prefers to be an individual and little bit of a rebel. At least by military standards anyway. Weapons: The sword seen in pic and the single eyes gauntlet also seen in the pic. The sword is charged with high frequency ions, making capible of slicing through most material, called the 'Resinator'. The gauntlet is an A.I. system that helps compensate for him in combat by using it's mono eye to note slight variations in his opponents, called the 'Scope'. Flash Back: It was so many years ago now, back in Darrens early days. Back when he was still an up and coming ensign. It was the day for him to meet his first captain. He was only 16 at the time and fresh out of officers training. He was eager and willing, but at the same time a little nervous. The only ships he had been on up to this point were simulation and small scale ships, but this was a full fledged battle cruiser on patrol. He knew this was his chance to make a name for himself and start his climb to the top. He was standing in the at ease position, awaiting the captains arrival on deck. He and his fellow crewmen shared a few words, just to get familiar. When the captain had arrived it was not at all what he had been expecting. He had imagined this grand man, as tall as the ceiling with a proud, chizeld form. Instead a man slightly shorter then himself with a puggy belly and beady little eyes walked in. At first he was in doubt, but soon took note of the insignia on his uniform, confirming that this disappointing man was his captain. Not wanting to fall out of line, as the only other officer, Darren made the call to attention. The capatain walked along the line of NCO's and then gave the junior officers a look over. Without even sharing a word he left and headed straight for the bridge. darren unsure of what to do simply dissmissed all the other crewmen to there posts and had them prepare for launch. This was a terrible disappointment, and showed Darren just how far the Federation really had fallen. This may not have been a very exciting or daring memory, but this was the first experience he ever had in the military. This man was barely fit to be a petty officer, let alone a captain. But this let Darren know what he had to do. Someday he would become a captain and lead in a proud and dignified manner. Someday men and women would jockey for position just to assigned to his crew. Someday, Someday.

Shun stood in the middle of the arena, stripped down to the bare neccesities. In his right hand he held his black katana with great conviction. He could only think of last night at the restaurant. Despite what everyone said, he wasn't sure he could trust anyone other then Toshi. Well regardless of that, he knew what he was going to do. He was going to stick by the truce as best he could, but if it came tohim or them, he choosed himself. He looked to the hilt of the sword, looking to the name inscribed on it, Tensa Zangetsu. He said the name once to himself and set his hand back down. They were all scatterd about the arena and he had no way of knowing who was where, but the only one he was interested in was Ashen. From what he had seen the day before he was good. Real good. Maybe even better then Shun, but the question would be experience and battle tactics. From what he had gatherd, he seemed to have a poor temper. If he could get him to blow his top, then that could give him the edge in the underground. Shun stood perfetly still, his eyes closed. Then the bell rang out and the fight for survival was on once again.

Clark was still lying on his back, basking in the gentle sunlight. It had been a while now. Was anyone else alive? Or was that some fantasy he had just dreamed possible? Whatever the case was no had shown up yet so it was already looking pretty bad. This either meant the island was bigger then he thought, or that simply no one else survived. He preferred to the think it that latter. With that in mind, he got to his feet and went off in search of any kind of companionship. He hated this lonliness. He ventured up and down the beach, still juggling the events of the day in his head. His memories were all still scrambled, he still couldn't see anything clearly. Clark was almost dragging his feet against the ground as he walked. It was then that he started to hear voices. He turned his sluggish walk to a feverish run. Could this be what he was looking for? The people he knew were here all this time? He could hear them coming from just beyond a high rock formation. He rounded about it quickly, and then he was blocked by a shadow. And with a thud fell to the ground. He rubbed his head and looked ahead of himself. Before him was a young girl and an older looking guy with her. The girl was sitting on the ground rubbing her head in much the same way as Clark. He must have run into her in all his excitement. The girl then barked "What were you doing?!" The guy next to her lifted her back to her feet as Clark helped himself back up "I'm sorry. I've been alone for a while now and when I heard voices I couldn't help but come running. I should have been paying better attention. I aplogize." The guy remained quiet during this whole exchange, looking as if he was examining Clark. Like he didn't trust him, but that was irrelevant at the time. The girl gave a shrug and a smile "Apology excepted." OCC: Sorry this first one is so short, but I have homework that needs to be done. I promise better quality in the future.

Shun turned his body and moved his hand toward her hand, which was blocking veiw of the bruise on her neck. It was very obviously someones hand print on her neck, but who. The thought of some shit head putting his hands on her enraged him to no end. Shun moved Toshi's hand aside and put his own hand on the almost purple mark on her neck. There were even light cuts from where his finger nails hand broken her skin. Shun asked again, in a much sterner tone "Who did this?" The room fell silent around them as they waited for a reply. Toshi looked as if she might try to change the subject again, but when she met eyes with Shun the truth came out "It was just a little scuffle with the new kid, Ashen. It's not a big deal." Shun immediatly stood to his feet, Destovi right after him. Toshi jumped up and grabbed hold of Shun "Now wait, don't go over board. It's not a big deal, really!" She was trying to push him down and back onto the couch, but she couldn't get him to move. Shun brought his hands up to her cheeks, then kissed her "Don't worry. I know exactly what I'm going to do now." With that said Shun sat back down to the astonishment of almost everyone else in the room. Destovi had a look that screamed 'WHY!'. Shun took hold of Destovi's arm and pulled him back down too. They didn't know what to think, til they saw the look in his eyes. At that, they let it go. Shun was planning something for the new kid. Shun's head popped back up "Alright, let's get to the restaurant. I'm starting to feel pretty hungry." The air had become unusually calm. Almost eerie in a way. No matter how calm he looked, there was no way he could hide that kind of rage inside him.
