1. I'll note that the series has had it's drop offs, but I feel it slowly recouping for me in SEED and SEED destiny. Like so many others, I came to the Gundam unvierse with Gundam Wing and have been drawn into the vast world of Gundam ever since. Along the way I have seen many an atrocity, the most horrid of which would have to be Gundam SD. This work is pure blasephemy against everything that is gundam and should banished to the deepest pits of hell. G-Gundam I deamed forgivable, and slowly I have regained faith in the series with the addition of the Gundam SEED story to my collection of Gundam. I can only hope that the atrocities of the past stay there and we will have many more inspirational years of new and exciting Gundam series to come.
2. Hello, I'm pretty new to the whole art thing, and re-doing images, so I'm sorry If it's a little crude, but here you go. I hope you like them, but I'm sure if you wait, you'll get some better stuff. I just like doing if for the fun of it sometimes. Oh well, here you go, use them if you want.
3. I suppose it's a question more of what you value more: Those you love or the well being of strangers. That's basically it. If it's someone important to you, the decision to kill them off for all these people you don't know is much harder. It maybe selfish of me to say, but I chose the lives of my family over the lives of strangers. My family and friends are the lives that matter to me, and that's the way it stands. I know alot of people here are all for the sacrificing a few to save the greater, but that doesn't float with me if I have to choose from those that I love. If it's not then that's another story entirly, but that's not the point I'm trying to get at here. In the face of the ones I love and the lives of people I've never met, nor will probably ever meet, I chose my family and I wouldn't give up one of them, even my annoying little brother. Anyone who tells you they would throw away the life of one of there family to do so is either full of crap, or more cold-hearted then I. Family and those you love should take presidence in your life. I'm not saying disregard others, obviously as a society we have to look out for each other. But, if I had to chose between some stranger and lets say my mother, I chose my mother in an instant. There wouldn't even be a question. I know this might upset some of our more liberal members here, but like I said, only a heart far colder then my own would chose strangers over loved ones. That's just the breaks on this one I guess. At least to me anyway.
4. Trusting a guy with such a sullied past is a hard thing to condon. Guys who cheat are usually token to do it again and again. Sad to say, if you get involved, regardless of what he's said to you, he might do it again. A man once tempted is easily tempted again. As for the pot thing, you might or might not end up with problems with that. It depends how often and how much he uses the stuff. I'm personally very liberal and say, like drinking, every once in a while doesn't hurt much. But, again like drinking, heavy and constant use is a sign of a serious problem you might not want to get yourself in the middle of. I hear girls all the time tell me about how good the guy there with makes them feel, even when they're coming to me with the worry that he's cheating. The reason that is, is because men who cheat know who and how to keep you from walking out right on them. If your at doubt then you need to do something to see how loyal he really is, but if there is already this much doubt in weather or not he'll stay faithful, I suggest you get out now before it gets to hard. If your already concerned, then your already in trouble. If you go into a relationship like this with any kind of doubts, then your destined to hard times and quite possibly heart break. Think about this long and hard before you decide on what to do next. Do you trust him enough to know, and the key word is KNOW, that he won't fool around on you? Because if you don't, then this might be the time to end it now before one of you winds up hurt.
5. Name: Tony Aldon Age: 19 Gender: Male Personality: An off beat kinda guy. He's a little out of it sometimes, he's not always up on what's going on around him. I suppose you could call him a ditz. He day dreams alot and doesn't give much thought to other around him. He's the typical teenage dreamer, always thinking of something better then the mediocrity that he has. To those who know him, who are few, he is a nice guy. He means well and doesn't really have anything bad to say about anyone. He doesn't work hard, and suffers in school from extreme mediocrity, just like his life. His expectations are low, but even when he talks about them like there so bleak, he just smiles and shrugs it off like it's not a big deal. He smiles all the time and never seems upset at anything. Some people just call him lazy and unmotivated. The truth is that he doesn't know what the truth is, and maybe he doesn't even know what he wants at that. Snippet: Tony is a simple guy, but he wasn't always that way. It's abnormal to see an 8 year old suffering from severe stress, but he did. He sufferd from chronic migranes and pulled at his hair when he was frustrated. Most kids his age were only worried about when the school day was over, but he seemed to be far more worried and worked over then the others. This lead him to some odd behavior and resulted in the merciless bullying of him all the way through elementary and middle school. He was always the nerd who wished for his turn to be the big shot, always wanting to have a great job, where all his former bullies would have to work under him and he could torment them the way the tormented him. But this was a distant dream and he was to suffer greatly in his young years for no crime or wrong of his own. He sufferd physically for the suffering he had emotionally. He reached the brink of sucided and returned more then once. It's truly a tragic thing when your 9 years old and considering killing yourself so early on, but this was what he thought of at this hard point in his life. Family and what few friends he had gatherd around him and tried to pull him through this pain full time in his life. But in the end, he was the one who pulled himself through with one final desperate act. When he was 13 he had decided that he had sufferd enough and wouldn't deal with it anymore, even if it meant he would just suffer in the next world. He attempted to over dose on perscription medicine. He had been left home alone while his parents went on a vacation, this was his chance to do it. He layed on the floor of there small two bedroom apartment in unimaginable pain. He wasn't sure what he had taken, but whatever it was had filled him first with a great numb feeling, then a cold and very painful feeling. He awoke several hours later, still laying on the floor where he had passed out from the pain. He got to his knees and looked to the ceiling and watched the fan in the center turn round and round in a hypnotizing manner. For some reason this journey to the brink and back made him feel a great deal of relief. Like he had found something on the other side, but what it was he was unsure. Shortly after that he changed to the persona now seen by all those around him. He smiles and grits through each day and treats each one with it's one type of dignity. Like this one will be different, even if he only ever does the same things every day. When he heard of this pill that could relieve him of this mediocre life of his, he first thought he had no need for such a thing, but recently he has begun to have doubts. And now her looks at this like a serious idea, and he even favors this idea in face of the possible consequences. Appearance: Tony Aldon. He's about 5'9 and weights about 173 lbs. His skin has a light tan and he is of Italian decent.
6. Is this okay? I'm still not very good, but I hope this is good enough for what you need.
7. I've always believed that no one has the answer for another. All you can do is listen and offer some sort or comfort of suggestion. In a desperate moment where your friends turn to you for help, just tell them what you think is right and let them know that no matter what happens that you'll still be there and that it changes nothing about who they are. It's times like those you need to show your friends how much they mean to you. Even if you can't give them an answer, just listen and do what you can to make them feel better. I've been a youth council for many years now, and I've done it long enough to know that you can never have the definite answer, just a suggestion and a kind smile. In the end, that's all it takes. If a friend comes to you for help, then that means they trust you and they really look up to you and think highly of you. Just do your best to offer them kind support and a strong will and I'm sure they'll find the rest on there own. You just need to hold strong and let them see you standing behind them, much like I'm doing for you right now. Try hard. It's like my grand mother always says "Shoot for the moon, cause even if you miss, at least you'll land among the stars."
8. I'm in token to agree here, if she hasn't come to anyone yet, then all you can do is wait for her to come back on her own. If she felt so pressured and upset that running away was the only choice, then she's probably going through a very hard time. When she comes home she's going to bneed you to be a true friend and stick close to her and help her get her life back together again. Things like this are hard, but if you help her then she can put things back in order. This is completely on you. As for your other friend, again I am token to agree. Try not to get to mixed in and just offer your support. If they really have these feelings for each other, then going to seperate schools shouldn't take such a drastic toll on it. Esspecially if it's only a year and they can still see each other outside of school. I was gone for six months at BCT and had no contact at all with my GF while I was there. But when I came back we simply picked up where we left off. If they really love each other, this shouldn't be a problem.
9. How's this for you? If you need something more specific, you should ask. Ther are better artist here then me if you want to wait it out instead, that's cool.
10. This sounds like quite a problem you've got here. I can understand where your coming from, that being with someone that can make you so happy. You've been together for so long that I'm surprised it took you so long to come out and say it. I'm sorry that she didn't return this feeling, and I can understand not being able to forget her, so I'm thinking maybe you need to show her that this isn't just some lust of the moment type thing. What I mean is you should try and show her just how much she means to you. Sometimes just saying it is to easy, and not everybody means it when they say it. You might need to show her that you are serious and this isn't just a game or a jump for the moment type thing. Only you can decide what that is though, I can't really give you any advice there. In the end, you can't make her love you, and if she doesn't love you back, then that's not the end. Love never has to die, and it only does if you let it. You can love her forever, even if she doesn't return those feelings. And at the same time you can still be happy in the end. Just perservere and never let it get you down. If you try hard enough and show her how important she is to you, I'm sure she'll return those feelings someday.
11.
The evas aren't angels exactly. They're close, but they're different. Karowu becomes close friends with Shinji, only to destroy his mind in a final brutal act that plunges poor Shinji into the deapths of despair.
True, RahXephon is entertaining, but it's also true tha it pales to the Eva series.
12. I suppose if your talking about consciousness, then it would come in around the 6 month if I' not mistaken. While If you want to look at it from a philosophical point of veiw, life begins in the blood, which would mean the second week after conseption when the fetus is infused with blood. I guess it depends on how you look at it.
13. I chose Starwind from the anime Outlaw Star. I just thought it was a simple and pretty cool name. I wish I could say it was more interesting then that, but what are you gonna do right.
14. Name: James Eldon Nickname: G Age: 18 Gender: Male Origin: Florida, Tarpon Springs Current Residence: New York city, Manhatan Appearance: James Eldon. He stands about 5'9 and wieghts 175 lbs. He still has fairly tan skin from when he was still living in Florida. Curse: His body has undue strength and endurance. He is abnomrally strong and is like wise, very tough. But at this token he has slowly began to grow emotionally fainter. He has slowly become less and less able to express even the most basic of emotions. At present he is almost completely incapiable of showing or feeling emotion, and is often times veiwed as cold and sometimes depressed. Personality: At this point in his life is almost non-existent. He still holds a great morale fiber, and knows right from wrong, he just seems like he doesn't care. He stands up for the little guy and puts himself out there, but never seems to care about anything. He never fights back though, he just sits back and takes his thrashing, never showing any displeassure or even irrataion toward this. Biography: He was born in the small greek town of Tarpon Springs on the west coast of central Florida. He was born a normal child just like anyone else, he was a kind and happy little boy. Sadly he wasn't very strong or assertive, as such, he got bullied and teased mercilessli. He wished he could be stronger, that he didn't have to feel so bad all the time. Ironic for how things turned out. When he turned ten, the curse first began to set in. He suddenly wasn't such an easy target anymore, and it was great at first. However, as time went on and years passed, he found that he wanted nothing more then for this to pass. He became discontent and lost the few friends he had. The only ones who wanted to be around him were those who wanted to be securred, as he was seen as cold they also assumed he was vicous. He left Tarpon Springs when he was 16 to move out to live with his aunt and uncle. They lived in an upper class home and his parents thought that a change of scenery might help him regain the spark he once had, but they don't realize that it's will never retutn. He is forever haunted by his curse.
15. I've always tried to be forward and out right with my emotions. It's hard, because the very idea makes people feel uncertain and self concious. Sometimes you've got to just bite the bullet and come straight out. If she doesn't know your there then try sparking a simple conversation. You don't have to go to one knee on the first word, just take what you know about her and talk to her on a simple, easy going level. Don't panic, and don't hyper ventilate over this. Just come to her and start out nice and slow. After you become a little more comfortable, then worry about coming out and telling her your interested. It's gonna feel like your dieing while ou do it, but once you do, it's easy from there on out.
16. Starwind vs. Yatsubei Yagyu. I'll take your challenge. Bring it on little man. Britney Spears vs. Paris Hilton. It's time for the hillbilly show down. One, super star pop singer and the other was.... on some show. They are both well noted twits in the community, it's time to determine who is the dippiest twit. Lindsey Lohan vs. Nick Noltie. Lets have these two examples of AA failure. This one will be a power house, bar brawl.
17. Crone walked slowly and subtly, he only had one shot at making this work. He was nearing a government scanning check point as they approached, this was big. He looked toward the front and noticed a large man in uniform with a long syringe, at least three inches in length, attached to a long hose leading to a rather impressive looking piece of machinery. They used these big things to find Alternates like him. The tall man at the head of the line shouted "Boy, your next." Crone held his cloack around him tightly with the hood up, with only a few strands of his brown hair visible. His skin was of a light tan and his face was turning red, this thing was damn hot, but it was the only way he could keep his things with him. Crone rubbed his boots against the ground and then looked up to the large man in uniform. Crone stepped forward, the man towerd over him. The man seemed to derive great pride in that fact as he tried to look as intimidating as possible, and Crone feigned worry. The guard began a rather tedious interrogation, like it would do any good. The guard in his deep proud voice asked "Do you have any affiliation with the group known as the Alternates." Crone kept up his innocense act, purely for the fact that he found it entertaining. It really had nothing to do with his objective, as he shook his head and spoke in a timid voice "No sir." The man still boasted a proud look and carried himself very high "Are you aware of the current threat status in this area." Crone nodded with him "Yes I am sir." trying to sound innocent and scared. This guy was as dumb as he was big, he bought right into this, as his ego was visibly swelling. He looked to Crone and asked "How old are you, boy." Crone shudderd a bit, for no other reason then the fact he felt like bursting in laughter at this big guys idiocy, as he responded "19 sir." He finally drew the large, intimidating needle from before and jammed it viciously into Crones right arm, probably looking for a resonse of pain from it, though he recieved none. There wasn't enough time for the big guy to wonder why the kid wasn't screaming in pain, as the machine attached to the syringe squelled horribly. The man's face turned pale as he began to speak "Your an Alter-" Cut short by Crone's cloak leaving his body and wrapping itself to his face. With a quick strong tug, the man's neck snapped and he fell to the ground. A panic quickly spread, as the check point, which had only had few guards before, was now swarming with armed guards. Crone reached back and drew from his back a large bow. The string was a thin piece of razor iron and the bow itself was a long curved piece of solid bronze. He jumped forward and swung the strung end at a guard and nearly severd his arm off. Civilians screamed and rioted, but were hesitant to leave, like they were hypnotized by the scene unfolding around them. Guns rang out as Crone weaved his way through the numbers of guards, using there bodies as an effective sheild from the flying bullets. WIth nothing but his hands and bow he managed down all fifteen of the guards who were attending the post. He heard the squelling a yet another approaching siren, the cavalry had arrived. Crone reached to his hip and pilled a small two inch tube of steel. With a flick of his wrist, the tube became a two foot arrow, with an ominous glowing tip. Crone strum it back in his bow, as the strong and heavy metal moaned as it bent. With a quick sound of the ripping air, the arrow launched with all the force of a bullet. The arrow the burst in through the thick shell of the first car approaching. The car then burst into flames. This brought a temporary hault to the approaching cavalry. Crone turned to the crowed of on lookers and smiled once, then gave a wink to them as he took off in a retreat. As he was getting clear, he heard the sound of footsteps in sync with his own. Without stopping, he whipped around and fired off another arrow toward the empty alley way behind him. A laugh filled the alley "Nice show back there Crone. You always did like to stir up trouble." Crone cringed for a moment, but then turned it to a smile "You know me, Kain. I've always believed in the idea of 'go big or not at all'." A man then dropped as if from thin air into the alley way. He was only slightly taller then Crone, maybe an inch or two. He was dressed in a normal white button down shirt, with black denim jeans. He had blonde hair and green eyes that seemed to be glowing in this dim alley light. His smile was glowing with a white light as well. Crone took a slow step toward him "Are you really willing to go through one more bout, Kain." Kain's hands slide to his waist and drew a pair of daggers "It wouldn't be a proper reunion if we didn't, now would it." Crone jumped and swung the razor of his bow, as the ever nimble Kain kicked himself backward. Crone rolled from the swing to a front flip and tried to bring the heel of his foot onto the back of Kain's head. Kain skipped to the right, and Crone began to spin after him, swinging his bow. Kain jumped and planted both of his feet on the wall. He then thrusted himself off and swung with both knives in hand. Crone flipped his bow and blocked the daggers with his bronze bow. The two stood in look for a moment of two, then pushed off each other. They simply stared at each other for quite some time, then they both smiled again. Kain spoke up "You'll never change will you." Crone looked to him, as he corrected his posture and stood up straight "Of course not. It's what makes me, me." Kain turned away "You always had to choose the other way didn't you. You could never do anything easy." Crone turned as well "And you were always into instant gratification. You never liked to have to work for your reward." The two walked off in opposite directions, without anothere word. The mission had been accomplished, they had beaten the government dogs in a public theater. This would show them that this dark regime was not invincible. That you could rise up to them and win. Hopefully this little stunt would inspire others to believe that this government could fall, then this war would finally end. Crone put his bow back on his back and mutterd under his breath "Jackson better appreciate all the trouble I went through to make this plan work." He smirked a bit then dissappeared down the dark alley way.
18. Name: Casey Hengstebeck Gender: Male Age: 17 Appearance: Sphere: Tundra Sphere Power: He has the power to manipulate water, even able to freeze it over. This allows him to forge himself weapons on the fly, should he need them. His power is far from infinite and he is easily exhausted, he usually just uses it to build up his weapon of choice, or for a quick sneak attack. Maintainence is fairly easy, it's manipulation that throws him off. As a bonus, he is also able to walk across water, and travel through water with speed far beyond what his body could do alone. Country: Germany Personality: Reclusive by nature and a general outcast. He cares nothing for others and lives by the "Look out for number one" mantality. He is veiwed as harsh and violent, and has even been accused of murder, though there is no evidence; just a stupid rumor. Truth of the matter is that he is rarely violent against others and has never actually killed a person before. He doesn't run with a gang, nor has he ever tried to form or fit in to one. His harsh rep comes from the fact that he's a street urchin. Also, he has been known to participate in street fights when he's in need of money. His morals won't allow him to steal, but knocking the crap out of guy for money works just fine. Weapon: Trident. A weapon in the image of the gods. Bio/Snippet: Casey was a born street urchin. Oh sure, he had parents, but they were to worried about staying alive to raise him. Don't worry, the street did for him what his parents never could. He ate from trash cans, and "relieved himself" on the sides of buildings. Yep, he was the king of his domain. The local busy bodies came to hate and fear him simply because he didn't seem to care. He was grimy, dirty, rude and anit-social; but other then that he was a nice guy. He always minded his own business and never beat up somebody who didn't have it coming; or who didn't volunteer for one. After three years of fighting and saving he finally got himself a place to live. A studio apartment. Sure it stunk and was in one of the worst neighborhoods in Berlin, but the only reason it was one of the worst was cause he lived in it anyway. Street fighting became less of a career and more of a hobby, he found after awhile that he could relive some undue stress by beating some poor sap senseless. Normally he wasn't particularly violent, he just liked a good throw down. Does this make him a bad person? I think not. Casey knows that in this world, you just gotta look out for yourself. As long as you only watch your own back, you'll never be blind sided. The only semi-friends he has are his "agents", the guys who set up fights for him. He only ever talks to them when he needs a job, and when he suppose to get paid. Other then that, he sticks to himself, and he likes it that way. What does he need friends weighting him down for?
19. I found this to be a very interesting subject. As such I gave this some good thought, and tonight, for your main event. Salman Rushdie vs. Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini. These two titans have been at each others throats for decades and it's time to bring this feud to an end in final knock, drag out, no holds-barred brawl. One is a radical spirtual leader, the other is an acclaimed author. Who will win? Micheal Moore vs. George W. Bush. These two have been trying to discredit each other for years, now it's time to put up or shut up. And just for the fun of it: I. Lewis "Scooter" Libey vs. Tom Delay. These two are a pair of former congressional super stars and now it's time to let that pent up anger out on one another for the entertainment of all there fans.
20. Alright, here's my shot at it. It's not that great, but if you want something more you'd need to be a little more specific. I'm not gonna go nuts with the thing if that's not what you want.
21. Did youmean somethiing like this here If you want something different just ask. Or you could wait for someone else since there are better artists here then me.
22. House of The Scorpion was written by Nancy Farmer. It's gotten numerous awards and is a great piece to add to any collection. There were parts where I literally had to set the book down and take a break. The story is just so trying at some points you just have to take a break or you start to feel physically exhausted.
23. This is a story I started writing a few months ago and I thought I'd bring the idea to the OB to get some reveiws. I honestly don't have very high hopes about it, since I'm not a very good writer, so don't worry about being harsh if you really don't like it. It's kinda long and I'm not finished yet, so I"ll be putting up more and more as I go along. I'll be putting it up on a chapter system. Anyway, here it is. Chapter 1 He walked toward the warm light from the sun rising on the horizon. The cliff was steep and the waters of the ocean glistend with a golden hue. His left arm was begining to feel stiff, as the white light began to grow more vibrant, eminating from his very flesh. The wings on his back, of a beautiful silver color, shimmerd along with the water by the light of the rising sun. Ross stood far behind him, still staring at him. She could only think what he was doing, he needed help, so why was he just standing there enjoying the veiw. Ross held her place there behind the tall oak tree and simply watched him as the light from his arm grew brighter by the passing moment. She wanted to just jump out and smack him for not doing anything. Was this really where he wanted it to end? They had worked so hard, none more then him, to reach this place. To reach the future that now finally belonged to them, and he was going to just let himself fade away without a fight at all! She was filled with sadness and anger at this, but she couldn't bring herself to hit him or even yell at him now. Emilio could feel his arm growing tight, but it was not cold like a dying man should be. Maybe it was because, despite what they had tried to make of him, he was never really a human. This didn't matter anymore, not here. He had reached the end of his road, his goal in which he had spent his whole life in pursuit. He finally felt as if he had done his father proud. Maybe father John Paul was watching him right now from high above and was praising him for his deed. Or maybe he was condemning him for destroying it. In his right hand, Emilio held it's final shard. This was all that was left to tell this bloody tale. Emilio could feel Ross's angerd and mournful eyes at his back. He turned slowly to see her standing with tears in her eyes and her body trembling. He smiled to her warmly and waved her over. She remained still for a moment, but left from behind the tree and slowly walked toward him. Emilio's arm was almost completely comsumed by light at this point. Ross walked up and stood before the ever humble Emilio and couldn't keep the tears from running. all she could think was what had he been fighting for to let it end like this? She took one more step toward him and punched him straight on in the chest. Emilio huffed a bit, but didn't faulter from his spot. Ross kept her fist pressed hard against his chest, her shaky words finally came to her lips "Wh... who said you get to... make this choice? You selfish piece of crap, why couldn't you just let me help you? Anyone of us would have gladly stepped forward had you asked us, and yet..." Her words trailed off a bit "Y... you glory hog! You just wanted to be th.. the big hero, huh? Well screw you then, I hope you get your soul torn back to it's pieces all over again!" Her face once filled with anger now seemed much more regretful. She had said something horrible to him, and now couldn't bring herself to lift her head to look him in the face. Emilio set his hand beneath her chin and lifted her head to look at him again. His face was not filled with the rage Ross had expected, but rather it still held the same warm smile that he had given her before she came over. The taller man moved his hand from her chin and set it on her cheek. Her cheeks are still puffy and her eyes red. Emilio spoke finally "I want to thank you." Ross became much redder and seemed much more upset suddenly. Emilio continued on as Ross's face continued to twist "Me and him were the same. It seemed only right that this end with me and him. I'm sorry if this hurt you, but this is the way it should be. My kind don't belong here, were sins against God, after all." Emilio continued to smile at her as Ross only seemed to grow more upset. Emilio turned his eyes back to the distant horison, back to the rising sun. He then looked back to Ross and asked "Do you remember when this started?" She looked to him and mutterd "Six years..." For him, it had been much longer. His whole life seemed like a dream as he stood there on the edge of the world. But now he could see it all so clearly as if he was reliving it all right now. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Young Emilio Batou. He was born in the Italy in Vatican city. Or to be more specific, he was born inside the Vatican walls. The vast halls and chambers were his home. He was raised by his holiness himself, Pope John Paul The second. Simple days of prayer and practice. He was brought to learn learn these arts, though he was not sure why. The father always told him "It's to train your body and mind. Only then can you have a healthy soul." As he was a child, he simply excepted it. Nothing was ever spoken of his mother, nor did he have any interest in who it was, he just assumed he didn't have one. This was his peaceful and protected world. Within this bubble that the church provided he could not be harmed. His only thoughts were on prayer, practice and Father John Paul. He treated those at the Vatican like family, being that he never had a real one. Again, this was okay to him, he had been told that God and the church was all his family. He was kept from regular contact from "those who came from the outside." He was only to be near them for MASS. And even then he was to sit atop the altar with father John Paul. He didn't mind this though, he liked being close to the father and was most comfortable with him. Who could know? In such a holy place as the Vatican, that a terrible sin against humanity existed. And this sin came in the form of this small child, this child was a Nephilim.
24. Is this what your talking about? There are alot more talented artists here then me, but if you like it your welcome to it.
25. I believe there are some films you just can't watch in subs unless you can actually speak japanese. Like earlyier mentioned, any films from Miyazaki, or even from the new and rising star Makoto Shinkai. The Ghost in the Shell movies need to been seen dubbed, simply because half of the beauty of the movies is in the visuals they use. I don't believe you need to watched subbed to be a true anime fan. I personally think it's just a phase alot of otakus go through in the first year to year and a half. They'll get over it soon enough and start learning to appreciate some of the dubbed material, since there really are a lot of good dub jobs out there. Alot more then people give credit for.
