Ron realized that sitting around in the water wasn't going to help. He turn up and ove to the bottom and pulled up a few scallops and oysters. Though he wasn't quite the way he was when he first met them, he still didn't want to talk to them yet. He still had to much on his mind, so he swam off on his own and started his own little fire to boil up the oysters. He looked at the small pot boiling over as he took it off the flame. He cracked open the still hot scallops and sucked the little guys right out of there shells. He looked at the empty shell and thought 'At least I'm better off then this poor guy' ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ron jumped from his bed "Where the hell am I? What happend to Tina?" A doctor came to him "Calm down. She's be arrested, you don't have to worry about her again." Ron jumped to the old man, but feel short to the pain "You idiot. She saved me. get her out of there now." The old man put his hands up "I'm sorry, I don't have the authority to do that." Ron yelled "then get someone who does. NOOOWWWWW!!!!" The old man jumped dna ran out of the room. Shortly there after, his parents walked through the door "You dhould be grateful. If we hadn't followed you, those thugs would have killed you." His father said in his usual smug tone. "Then I would have died mear some one who would have actually cared." His mother was taken aback by this comment "But we do ca---" He cut her short "I dont' give a crap, just get her out fo there now." They nodded and they procceded to the jail house where she had been kept. Once they got there there was quite a scene out front. A great gathering of people standing out front of the jail house. Ron was held up by a crutch and hurriedly waddled over to the scene. The people cleared as he and his parents came near. Once they were clear of the scene Ron walked in to a scene he hadn't dare even imagine. Tina was on the floor motion less, her eyes still opend and filled with pain and her cheecks still stained with the tears. She was dead. Ron feel to his knees next to her body, he was in shock at the moment. He nudged her "Come on Tina. get up, what are you doing on the floor." His parents came over tohim and tried to move him "Leave it be Ron." With one violent swing he threw them off him. He shot his death and furious gaze at them, then to the sherrif. He got to his feet and took the sherrifs collar "What happend to here? WHo the hell did this to her!?" "A couple of the inmates we had put her in with. She was like this when we got here." Ron looked back to her body as the tears began to run down his face. He put his hand on her forehead and brushed her eyes closed "Why didn't you clean her up? At least give her some dignity." Then his father came forward again "She didn't have any. Street slime like that know nothing of honor of dign--" Ron had jumped to his feet and slugged his father to the ground with one punch "You shut the hell up right now. She knew more about that then any of you, so don't you dare tell me what she had and didn't have because you didn't even know her." His father learched back across the floor as the sherrif held Ron off him "What the hells wrong with you. Since when do yo care about these people?" "She had a name god dammit, so use it. Her name was Tina, give her that at least." His father gave no response to this and began another sentence "They don't need or deserve names. The sooner you realize that the easier it will be to accept the fact she's just one more useless life." Ron wanted to hit him again, but couldn't find the strength for a second lunge. He went to his knees and looked down to her. He then looked back up to the sherrif "What happend to the ones who did this to here?" "Their terms were up so we let them go this morning." Rons eyes filled with more tears as he looked back down to her "So they get to walk away scot free huh? No justice for her." The sherrif looked on to him "Well, she was a criminal. If they want to kill each other, then let them." Rons eyes became heavy, as his body did. He collapsed right on top of her body. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He sucked another scallop from it's shell "Those are some unpleasnt memories there." He said as he sucked another one down.
I don't agree with you that with "every life brings with it a clean slate." Such an assumption is completely blind - you're assuming that everyone starts off on a level playing field, that everyone has equal opportunity. Every life has potential - I will say that, but many start off a dollar short, so to speak. Most of the world is impovershed, living in the developing world. To say that they can do things that a typical American citizen can is foolish.
I'm not saying the world is a level playing feild. Letr's face it, there's nothing level about it. What I'm saying is, when your born you have a choice on who you can be. Many choice to be who there told to be, but at this young stage of life were in now, you can choose to change yourself. You don't have to be who your told to be. And no, even if it's not level, these people can still bring themselves to higher levels and better places. They might have to try harder, but it can be done. I am a testimony to will. Everything in life I've done I've been told I couldn't do and reseved no support from even my parents. In elementary school I was called a mentally retarded child with no future. I am now an honors student at my high school. I was told I could never make it in the army, they'd never let me in. I was inducted and sworn in five months ago. Just because you don't think they can do it doesn't mean they can't. I am my own testomony to will power. Do you know what it's like to be eight years old and be told by your parents, your teachers and your friends that your retarded and have no hope for a future. I proved them worng and I keep doing it with each passing day. I believe that if you push anything enough you can make it happen. I know I sound like a blind optimist, but this is what I believe. I've exceded every thing expected of me, which was nothing by the way, and I know I'm not the only one who can do it. Back on topic, if you look around here you'd see there are a lot of people who want to help and make it better. All they need is a voice and an image, someone has to rise to the occasion. I'm not saying I'm that person, I'm not that egotistical, but what I am saying is if we were to take what we have now and push it into the world gradually, we can make change occur. It may take years, but gradual change is better then none at all.
-
And what I'm trying to say here it just that. If you want the world to change you have to act on it. And yes I understand that there can never be complete agreemnet between people in this world, I'm not that ignorant or short sighted. I'm just saying that, why do people have to die for someonelses disagreements. For thousands of years, war has been old men talking and young men dieing. Is that the way it should be. I'm in the American army and for me the thought of war and dieing in it is a very real possiblity. And this is a choice I made, and I'm fine wiht it that way. But if I'm to die for this war, shouldnt I know what the point in dieing for it is.

Tommy smirked "Thanks for the vote of confidence." He opened the door the rest of the way "Do want to come in. I can't imagine your looking for ward to going home. You always complain about how bad it is there." She just shrugged to him "Why not. You've got food right?" Tommy laughed a little "Yeah, we've got some left over seafood pasta from last night I think. Hope you don't mind." She shood her head as she made a bee line for the kitchen "Nah, you know me. I'm up for any food as long as it's free." She went straight into the refriderator, rummaging around "Which container is it in, you've got alot of stuff in here." Tommy smiled and sat on the couch "It's on the bottom shelf. The container with the blue lid." "There it is I see it. I'll just pop it in the microwave." Tommy got to his feet "No that's okay. I'll warm it up on the stove for you." She just shrugged to him as he walked in "Whatever, I could just do the microwave." "Yeah, but then it won't taste as good." "Sheesh, you take too much pride in your cooking. Maybe you should be a chef." Tommy smiled "Well I am in culinary arts at school." He set the pot and warmed it up in a few minutes. He served it up on a plate and brought it out to the living room for her "Here you go." She smiled at the sight "Thanks. I knew there was a reason I came here." Tommy laughed "Yeah, I knew ther was to." He took a seat next to her on the couch and popped the TV on "So, do you know anyone who needs a chef part-time." She looked to him "So your giving the part-timer idea a shot huh?" Tommy nodded "Like you said, It'd be a waste to just throw in the towel like that."

Emilio looked ot the sky as well "Yep, no doubt about it. Damn, if they attack the town will be defensless. I hope Amer had the good sense to stay theer and look over them." Chrys looked to Emilio "Do you think they've deployed yet?" Emilio shook his head "There's no way to be sure. We came in the back door, they could have just as easily gone out the front at the same time." She nodded to him "Guess we can only hope." Emilio nodded and they ducked through the alley ways. Emilio stopped and pointed to the monolithic tower standing in the heart of the great city, not more then a hundred yards from them "That's the empirial tower there. If Achilles and Gale are to be found anywhere, they'll be there." Chrys nodded "Well let's make our move." She started to move up and Emilio put his hand out to block her "We can't." She looked to him "Why not!?" Emilio turned his head to the left and looked to the roof of the adjacent building "Because we've been spotted." Atop the building stood the enigmatic, Kami waiting for them with a warm smile spread across her face "I'm glad to see you return, though your company is of a questionable nature." Chrys responed with anger "What the hell is that suppose to mean you crazy bitch." Kami smiled "Come now, your still not up to full yet. In an arial battle you could never beat me." Emilio pushed her back and whisperd to her "On the opposite side of the tower. Just above it, about thirty feet, is a small hatch. It'll take you right to the top with little trouble. Go to it, I'll deal with her." Chrys hesitated for a moment adn Emilio continued "If those two are up there, then they need you more right now then I do. Just go to them. This is personal, if you don't mind." Chrys nodded and left them to there own devices. Emilio looked up to her "Looks like this will be our last chance to settle this little matter of ours." Kami smiled "I told you. It was just a matter of time." She spoke with such glee, it was hard to tell if she was happy or just insane. She put her hand forward and drew from the cool wind a long sword worthy of the name the sky blade. She pointed the tip to Emilio "The troops are on there way. You have only a few hours before your precious town is nothing but a memory. Our soilders will leave nothing, not even the dust." Emilio set his hand to the ground and seeping out of the concrete came water "Remember, you precious city has a sewer. So here I have all the water I need." "And so does your father." Emilio cringed for a moment, hoping Chrys wouldn't find him. He drew a sarated chain and began to twirl it "Let's do this thing." He swung the chain and cut the corner of the roof where she once stood off the of the building. Kami was to quick to take to the air, but this was not to say Emilio was slow to go after her. He used the propulsion of the water and drove himself high into the air and made another swin at her as she duck to the right. Then the left, down, up, right, left, left, right. His swings becoming faster and more powerful as he built momentum. He cracked his whip one more time and finally met her sword in a lock. She dropped it and it disappeared seconds after leaving her grasp. She then drew a long arm spear and charged in for the attack. Emilio turned his chain to a heavy gauntlet and caught the tip of the spear and held it away from his chest. She had made a go for his heart. Emilio chuckled "Trying to break my heart for a second time?" "Of course not. I'm trying to find out what your heart is still beating for." She pulled free and the spear disappeared as the sword did. This time she took a wan-dou and threw it at Emilio, who then used the forearm of his gauntlet to block the attack. Emilio smirked "You haven't wasted your time over these last few years."

Name: Doran Stelling Age: 22 Gender: Male Personality: Strong and stubborn. Kind of a clutz, but has impecable luck right when it counts. He never gives up and looks down on those who do without a fight. Appearance: Bio: He lives to pilot zoids, he loves nothing more. He found his partner in the desert, wandering alone in the canyon where the great heros of there world once traveled. It was there he found the "Lightning Sykes". Zoid Name: Red flare Model: Lightning Sykes Color: Red and Orange Description: Standard Lightning Sykes model. It has a design like that of a cheetah, it's stream lined and has power engines and leg joints. This makes it the fastest thing on four legs. Temp image generators to mask it's movements and shuffles in combat. Mounted with a single shot cannon on it's back with a 45 degrees turning radius, as well as it's fangs and claws for close work, should that become the only option. Weakness: It only has one gun and it can't fire behind itself, nor can it turn about fast at high speeds without severly damaging the leg joints. Full speed puts a great strain on the pilot so it can only be sustained for a short period before the pilot begins to lose consiousness. Other info: In his travels he has obtained a number of rare and new type parts using them as an edition to his system to give it editional offensive choices since he can't take the full speed for more the 63 seconds at a time. Lazer grids added to the claws and fangs so it can make it's first pass count. Speacial attack: Flash strike (A combination of claw and fang strike. It's not as effective as the strike laser claw in the terms of power, but coupled with the speed of the lightning Sykes it still proves to be very effective.) Sonic charge (A full speed rush the creates a sonic boom in it's wake, causing it's opponents to tumble to the ground) Double take (By using the built in image displacers it can shift position in mid stride without being noticed by the enemy til it's too late. Standard to the Lightning Sykes model)
Sex does sell. And that's the saddest part of it. Guys nowadays would much rather sit at home and watch porno/hentai than live thier lives and meet real[/i'] girls. And - because of the obnoxiously large chested women in anime and other places - boys are having a skewed view of reality and of women. Magizines, TV shows, movies, and now even cartoons are portraying women as merely sex objects.
I will speak on behalf of hte men here, Real women aren't very resposive to us. Trust me on this. I'm not into Hentai and I never will be, but some guys just are too afraid of real girls to bother to talk to them. Trust me, of all of life on the earth, none are more frightening then a teenage girl. Sex sells. This is simply the truth of the world, and as sad as it is, it's the explanation for all these sexual animes and Hentai imparticular. But anyway, That's all I have to say on be halef of my gender, real women are cruel and unsympathetic. There are no rewards for the bold nerd other then an eldow in the face and a demeaning remark. If your a nerd, your chances witha teenage firl are slim to none.

I've got a tale for you. About three years ago I went to visit a cousin living just outside of Lousiville Kentucky. Now about twenty minute from his house was a place called waverly sanatorium. I'm never heard of it before now but later research would show it's highly noted as being haunted, but let me continue (Look into it yourselves). So he tells me this and I think, pfffttt. At the time I was as much a sceptic as anyone you'd ever meet, so I decided to go and see what stupid little thing that made ti haunted. Lesson time. For those of you who don't know what a santorium is, it's a place where they would send the mentally insane or those with highly contagious and dealdly diseases to prevent an epidemic, even though it rarely worked. Anyway, so during this places high point in the thirty's, it averaged a death every hour. So when we get there the building is coverd in graffiti. Painted all over the place. Everything form gang symbols to pentagrams, the whole bit. So the first place he took me was, of all the things to find a place like this, was the gift shop. Yes, they actually had a gift shop, which sounds like a sick joke, but I swear to god it's true. He look around there for a little bit, I notice that the room is a little cold, but big, dam, run down buildings like this tend to be. So we go on, our next stop is much more fitting of such a place, the morgue. He go in there and it's got all the panels on the wall, all the drawers where they kept the corpses. Most are too rusted to work, but one can still slide. So my cousin pulls it out and dares me to lay on it for a second. It was just some corpse cot so I got on it and laid there for about ten seconds and got up and we closed it back up and left. So we started to go up the stairs. This place has five floors, each comes with it's own tale. But as we go up I notice the numbers 5-02 all over the place. So I turn to my cousin "Hey what's up with the number 5-02." He tells me that on the top floor, the fifth floor(Duh), that one of the mental patients escaped and killed a nurse in the bathroom up there and that was room 5-02. So I tell him to take me there, since it's suppose to be the most haunted area on the property. So we go up there and I visit the infamous bathroom stall this nurse was supposedly killed in. Were there about five minutes, nothing. So we get ready to leave the room and go back down stairs. Once were on the staircase, we hear a loud and sudden grind. This like loud thud. My cousin loses it and runs the whole way back to his truck out front. I'm a bit startled, but I decide to see what that noise was. I end up all the way back down at the first floor, and I go to the morgue. Once in there I see the table me and my cousin were playing with has creaked it's way back out of it's drawer. Not alot, maybe six inches, but you know enough to notice. I think maybe it's on springs so I look inside and see nothing there, no springs. I look around again and look to the graffiti and think so kids are playing around here like us. I know the thing didn't come out on it's own, I had a hard time making this thing grind back inside the slot. So I push it back in and turn to join him, at this point I'm just tired and want to go home. At this time I have my back to the drawer, I'm standing in the only doorway in. I hear the thud again. I turn quick and I see the drawer is back out again and screamed "F#%* THIS PLACE!" I take off running and run out to his truck, run over the front in and jump into the flat bed in the back and tell him to just floor it. I know that sounds weird, but I went in there a sceptic and came out a full on hard core believer.

I'm not trying to say that the world can or will change. I'm asking how would we be able to do it. In a time where we can be bombarded with information faster then we cam even register it, can we really dedicate ourselves to a single thought. Is it even possible, or are people today to shallow and short sighted to notice. The fact that this power now will fall is only inevitable, nothing can change that fact. Some seem to think it will take years, but in truth there world is already crumbling. I see our generation having our chance in about four to five years, but I digress. I don't see either government or religion evil. I see organization as evil. Religion preaches peace and civility to the world, and that's a great message to be sent. But organized religion has been used as an excuse for war and murder for thousands of years. A government organized, giving such great power to only one or a handful of people is dangerous and reckless to say the least. One can't allow there lives to lead by someone else's idealogy. You have to find what you believe in. If you believe in religion that's fine. But take the word of a man who I promise is no greater or smater or more well indowed then you that he knows the will of the creator. If you believe in the government that's fine, but don't believe that they who lead it are infallable. They are human as any one of us are and they are just as prone to mistakes. But if you think it could be better. If some how we could take what we have and evelope it to something more magnificent, then it is our responsiblity to try and make it better. Someone earlier mentioned that those who tried to change the world were either killed but trampled, but think of what you said there. You know them because even if they didn't change the world, they left enough of a dent for us to recognize the fact that they were there. True, many have died for this cause, but in there dieing they did in fact change the world. Martin Luther King Jr., Mahatma Ghandi, Abraham Lincoln, Robert Kennedy, All of these men changed the world, even if in the end it cost them there lives. So why can't we change the world in the same way these men did. With this vesile before you, you are able to reach the minds of millions all over the globe. Why do you look at it with such a pesimistic veiw. Unless you believe it can be changed how is it ever suppose to. Had the great men and women of history not believed in this idea of change then we would still be a primordial world with no civility and rights. We'd still be in caves abusing other sand the lives that we have. The world in which we live is trapped in a constand state of Heterostasis and Homostasis. Homostasis is the force to keep the world the same, and hetero is the force that drives change. If you don't give the hetero a puch we will stay locked in a constant state, never moving forward or moving backward. A man once said "It's okay if history repeats itselt as long as we continue to move up." He saw the world as a spiral and not a circle. As long as the spiral moves up, it can cross over the same mistakes over and over again as long it we progress from the last time. We will continue to make mistakes in this life, and we'll probably be doomed to see the same ones made over and over again, but as long as we become stronger and better for it it was not a wasted experience. We need change, so how many will it take to change the world. A lone person, or will it take hundreds, thousands, millions. How many does it take, or are voices alone not enough. Will action be the only way to go forward. If one only yses his voice, I suppose, it's no more useful then an echo in the wind. If actions speack stronger then words, then let's take action. Let's stand up and look to the world around us. Reach out and pull others to there feet so they might stand with us and walk this long unpaved road. Every life brings with it a clean slate, with every breath we take another opportunity arises, every moment only comes once don't make it a wasted one. Take the words from your own heart and use them as your strength to move on and change, even your own world. If you don't think we can change government and politics fine, but at least change yourself. If you better yourself then you children will be better for it. Then teach them to greater things then you, so someday there might be hope for our own world where one doesn't have to watch people die for a right they may not even understand. Right now, there are people in Iraq, the insurgence and US soilders alike, who are fighting even though they don't know what and why they are fighting. I find this to be tragic. Can't we at leat change this, or at least take the blood of those men and use it to show the leaders of these two sides why this has to stop. How many does it take?
The way she says it makes it seem like big news . Headline "Guys like girls with big butts gasp" She acts like its a big suprise . Also she acts like its a huge problem when in reality it doesnt matter beacause its NOT REAL!!!!!
Sure it may not be real, but she takes it on the idea it's an insinuation on how women act. Which it is not. I've said it before and I'll say it again, it's done in the name of fanservice. In the name of the pasty faced anime geeks who can't find a girl how will talk to them. In that said, I agree, she needs to calm down and get over it because it's just pure and simple entertainment, but she's saying that's how they think women are or should be and are pushing that image to others, when that is simply not the case here. It's all done in the name of entertainment like so many other things.

Emilio looked to Chrys "You don't have to worry about swimming. I'll take care of that, you just focus on staying consious. I'm a kappa remember, I can move us both through the water, you just need to hold your breath." Chrys nodded to him "In that case, this'll be a snap." Emilio nodded back "We leave as soon as possible. The longer we wait, the bleaker there chances of survival." Chrys nodded and they got to there feet. Emilio looked to the river "We'll follow that. It'll take us to the lake were we'll find our back door." Chrys stopped him as they went "Are you sure we should go now? We're both still pretty injured." Emilio kept going to the river "Just give it time. We'll be back up to speed by the time we get to the city." She shrugged alright. She followed him toward the river. Once there Emilio let himself fall into the water "I'm already feeling better in here." Chrys turned to him "You mean you can be healed with just water." Emilio shook his head "Of course not. It just feels good for one born in the water to return to it. It's my home, so I feel most at peace here." Chrys shrugged to this "So how much longer should it take us to get there?" Emilio kept floating alongside her in the river "Four to five hours. Sometime just before day break tomorrow." She nodded back to him and they were on there way to the dark city to rescue Achilles andf Gale from Dredick.

Were nearing the new year and now we stand in reflection of the year passed. We look back and see our triumphs and our foleys, our vitories and defeats. To this I ask, how many does it take to change the way of the world. Some believe that only one voice can force a new era, but is that still prevelant in the society of today. We have our information super highways now, is it really possible to preach and effective message on ones own. If it is, then who has taken the world to where it is and why can't they better it, or do they simply not care. But if it takes more then one, I suggest it starts with those of us here. We are the new generation here and we need to think of how we will forge the world before us. this world will belong to us in only a few years and then what will we do with it. Will we look upon it and simply let it run the course paved by our parents and forefathers or will we take a stand and forge our own paths in this world. Will we take the easy way or the hard way. Will we do right or wrong? So many questions and no definite answers. I just wish to know if any one here has the foresight to see where our world is going and to see if they want to change it. I think in the end, word are meaningless, and the future will be decided with actions. I don't think you can shape the world with a voice, a voice without a body is just and echo in the wind. Where do the rest of you stand on this. Can we really change the world with a voice? If so how many? And if not, what will bring the world to it's next great plateau? We stand on the verge of the future. Will we simple walk in the foot steps or will we walk beyond them, to the next great thing.

Not entirly. I'm in high school, and I spend most of my free time here on the OB. I like anime and I like talking in the otaku lounge. But here on the OB, for those who know me best know my true passion here is the Adventure Square. I love a good RP. And no, I'm not an over wieght loser. I'm a US army soilder. I have a kick *** job that I love and I do something meaning ful with my life and I'm already college bound. It doesn't take a total loser or a 10 year old to enjoy the boards.

Emilio limped over to her, still holding himself up with his crutch. He sat next to her "There might be a slight chance. But like I said it's real slight. The city has to have a constant supply of water flooding into the city, and it needs to be clean water. I know of only one way from where they are they could derive water clean enough to keep that city alive. I could make it through alone, but once I got inside if they found me they'd capture me. I wouldn't stand a chance so I can't risk it alone. But if you think you can make it through the water and hold your breath long enough to get to the city, then we might stand a fighting chance." Chrys looked to him "What about the other two?" Emilio shook his head "I'm not sure how much we can rely on them. There so unstable, it's really a weakness. They mightbe able to deal with Kami, and only barely at that. But to fight like that against my father would be suicide. I'm not sure if we should rely on such a flimsy power." She nodded back "So we should leave them here?" Emilio looked to the troops in pain and suffering "It would be better if they stayed here and protected the city. There power is best suited for that." She looked to him again "A little harsh on the harmonizers huh." Emilio shook his head and looked to the ground "Maybe, but it'st the truth of the matter. The way it is now, they would only be a burden since they can't guarantee there bloodlust. If they even tried for my father in that state I know what would happen." She stopped him "Let me guess, you did it once didn't you." Emilio nodded "A demons power is great in the form of a berserker. This is something I'm sure we both know. Since were both demon, we also know that in that state, calm tactical thought is impossible. My father is calculating, power alone won't win. I've seen him destroy demons several times stronger then himself, but he was always smater and thought out his pwer usuage better, so he always won in the end. They're harmonizers, they were born human, so they understand little of this. They have seen demons power grow in a berserk state, but they don't know how to fight like we do. They squander there power quickly and once it's gone, they can be swatted quickly. Until they realize this, we can't risk bringing them before my father, he would crush them." Chrys laid on her back "So how far do we have to go to get through this pipe line." Emilio sighed "Almost two miles. Think you can make it?"

Let's stay on topic here guys before this thing gets closed Anyway, I think if you're looking for a series with good action that you can get in a box set, I'd have to advice one of my favorites "S-cry-ED". The ending still kind of bugs me, but it's great series none the less. Next I'd go with "Full Metal Panic", esscially since you asked for box sets because thsi one was just released in a thin pack box set. It's a great series with the perfect mix of comedy and action and an interesting and involving plot. The second season is about to release here in the US so hop on board this on now so your ready for wehn the next one starts up. And finally I'd go with my favorite anime of all time "Neon Genesis Evangelion". This is one of the deepest and most involving series I've ever seen and will likly see again. There are lots of similar ones out there like "RahXephon" and "Argento Soma" both good series, but still dwarfed by the orginal. This anime has set the standard for every anime of it's kind since, that anime directors to this day try to reach for. Again a series not to missed since now you can get the remasterd platinum edition in it's full collectors set now. All 26 episodes, and I would advice buying "The End Of Evangelion" The epic movie that changed the way I see anime. This is a movie and a series for any true anime fan.
I agree to a certain extent. I rather enjoy well-done fanservice, myself. What I meant is that it doesn't make sense for him to basically say "suck it up" to people who are upset about women being portrayed badly in anime, when he himself makes a big point of complaining about men being portrayed badly in anime.
Point taken. And your right about that, I'm jsut trying to put my point across and simply agreeing witht he idea if you don't like it just don't watch it. To honest that idea of tellling the girls to suck it up then getting upset over the male end is a little hypocritical and I'll give you that.

Name: Hibiki Totoka Age: 25 Personality: A get the job done no matter what it takes kind of guy. He is willing to sink low to get things done. But inspite of this he is a very honorable fighter. He doesn't use under handed techniques and looks down on those who do. He hates guns and despises even more the men who use them. He has and unstopable will and is known for his determanation. He isn't villanous though the things he does are horrible, he does it for the thrill of the fight. He is a warrior through and through. Appearance: Weapon: Sword seen in pic Bio: Still only a child during the time of the war, but he remembers it well. And the word that stands out in his mind from that time is "Batousai". His father was a member of the Shinsengumi. He watched his father rise to be a powerful warrrior, which he hoped to be someday. Upon his fathers death his ambition to the greatest only grew. He would make proud his father with his great skill. During his fathers time there was one who was said to be unbeatable. the one who killed his father. The legendary batousai is the one he seeks, not for vengeance, but for proof of his own power. To kill the one his father couldn't, that would be the truly amazing feat that would put him over the top. He has taken up the role of one of the ten guardians, even sinking as low as to take a samll child and a woman captive to get to him. He waits and seeks the batousai, and his patience is growing thin.

I'd hate to say it, but when it comes down to the bottom line that's all there is to it. If you don't like it, don't watch it. Nobody is going to force you, so why complain if someone made the choice to. All it does is put out some form of advertisement even if you don't mean to. The best way to gstop those kind of things sis just ignore them and boycott them. I personally don't have a problem with it and I'm not a fan boy of any kind. I don't look forward to that in anime, though I do have friends who do. But that's neither here nor there. Like I said, it doesn't bother me, but I can understand why it does bother other people and that's fine to. In the end all I really want to say is, let it go. I'm not even sure if you could really call it sexism. to call it that is the same as calling porn sexism. It's not sexism, it's fan service, plain and simple. It's to give all the hopeless fan boys out there something to fantasize about, it's not meant to demean women in anyway, it's all about making the guys happy.

Ron went to wade his feet in the water, he wasn't hungry so he didn't bother going to get something to eat. He decided to just sit there in the warm water and relax. Relax, right, like he could bring himself to feel at ease. He had drudged up an awful lot of ugly memories the last few hours. he would have to deal with them before he could cope again. He always had his bottle to keep him numb, but now he actually had to face them, which was much more frightening. He was a coward and he knew it all to well, but he couldn't help it. He couldn't jsut let something like that go, but at the same time what was done can never be undone or even made better. Too much to think about, and he wasn't nearly strong enough to handle something like that. He rolled to his back in the water and began to simply float. He didn't know what to think or who he could turn to. He guessed that none of this crew would care, and besides he wouldn't burden them with this anyway. He kept to himsle fand floated on in the warm water. It felt like he was floating through the warm summer air, but even here he was still uneasy and couldn't feel peace. He was sad, angry and depressed all at once, and he couldn't stop those thoughts.

Emilio watched as she left, he knew full wel that neither them nor the army here was ready for something like this, but if they didn't act soon then there would never be another chance. He sat back up and pulled himself to his feet with a cane he had forged from water. He managed his feet and moved toward the doctor "So, you were listening, do you think we have a shot old man?" The doctor continued about his business wthout a glance "I'm just a doctor son, I've no idea of the workings of the battlefeild or the young minds who call it home. All I know is, even if I said it was, it wouldn't stop you." Emilio smirked "You smarter then I thought old man." Emilio limped to the door and looked out to the injured soilders and devastated armed force. He knew this would be nearly impossible, but he knew it had to be done. Better nearly impossible, then entirly. He walked out to the street and leaned off against the wall of a building. He knew that if they had gone alone, the two of them were probably within his fathers clutches. They were both probably captured. He wasn't sure if they could really run a rescue mission, but he knew that he would at least have to try. Undoubtely, Chrys would want to aid him, the two hoarmonizers were another story, there was no way to know just how helpful they would be. He let it be at that, he knew that it wasn't even a definite possiblity. Seeing the army before him, he knew they may not be up to something as difficult as that. But he knew the dak city now, if he went on his own he might be able to find them somewhere in the city. But he also knew that if he went alone he'd just be joining them. He didn't know what to do, but he knew he would have to do it soon.

Name: Donatello "Don" Charton Age: 24 Gender: Male Side: Time Control Weapons: He carries with him a large sword (as seen in pic) for close quarters, but for the most part he relies on his custom pair of handguns, The wind cutters, designed specifically to deal with these extreme threats. Class: Human Appearance: Personality: Well mannerd and very stern. He has a very cold exterior, but seems to be well meaning and kind heated underneath it all. He's not a very private person it that he'll share information about himself with almost anyone (Enemies excluded), but they must first ask him, he'll never volunteer it. There is only one thing he has never shared with anyone and no one knows why he would choose of all things to keep this to himself. His cold expression often leaves one with the idea he's angry, even if he says otherwise. Bio: Raised in his simple family, he spent much of his life dreaming of some day being a cop. It wasn't unusual, but for his age he took it very seriously; learning police protocol at the age of 7. He didn't just want to be some hero of the people like most kids his age. He legitimatly wanted to be a cop, take all the good and the bad to it. This both made his parents proud, but also worried them a little taht such a young child was more interested in this then making friends or having fun. He sought out martial arts schools so he might learn close quaters combat. This was pretty typical for a cop to know; Basic takedowns and submissions. He then took up marksmen training so he could shoot and kill a target if necassary. When he was 13 he left for marksmen training and didn't return. He was gone, like a gust of wind. They searched high and low for him but never found a trace. It had been all of 6 months and they had all but given up hope of ever finding him alive. Then out of the blue he just came home one day, as if nothing had ever happend and he went about his business like usual. Of course this spurred a media frenzy. He returned in the same clothes he had worn the day he disappeared, but they were in tatters. Torn and staind with what appeared to be blood, but the stains were so old there was no way to positivly identify this. He had cuts and bruises over his entire body and his eyes, though seemes fixed on what they were doing, were lightly glazed over. When asked what had happend to him he never said a word. His parents worried for him, had he gone insane? How horrible was it that he saw? No one knew, and he wasn't telling anybody about it either. This media zoo finally died after a year of frenzy, but he still gets the occasional question raised by a tabloid and the nosey busy body who just wants to know. But he generally ignores them and keeps it to himself. Some think it's because he doesn't remember, while others say it's becaue he did something horrible but doesn't want anyone to know, while others still say he was abducted and traumatized to silence. What really happend, no one but him knows and like I said, he isn't talking. After this he showed and unusual interest in technology. He spoke to his marksmen trainer about where he might find someone who made guns and how he could meet them. His trainer advised him to visit a woman living just north of town. It was a hell of a walk, but he went all the way there. Once he arrived he wanted to know about smithing guns. After pleading with her for hours, she consceded with him and agreed to teach him how to make guns. He spent five years learning the trade, how to make guns and bullets, even learning how to make new kinds of guns. Once he was 20 he took this and went to the most elite police force there was, Time Control. He was accepted into there precinct and serves as one of there top agents. Dedicated, not to the force, but to his own will.

I'll take the floor and say that, yeah there are limits to how young you can go. But to be honest, you shouldn't have to be told that. A 20 year old should have almost nothing in common with a 12 year old, there shouldn't be anything there to begin with. I think the youngest girl I would date would be 15. The oldest would be 22. I choose these ages because that way we're at least in the same spectrum, we should have some level of compatiblity here. A whole lot older of younger, then it should be left alone.

Without giving it a thought, Dred rose to his feet and started for the door. He knew if Tyr felt they needed to get out of here, then they probably should, he had good sense about this kind of thing. Dred waved to Jar, who quickly got up and followed them out of the building. Tyr walked out next to Dred as dred asked "So, what was it he wanted?" Tyr kept fixed forward "Same thing they always want." Dred smirked "And you didn't go with them?" Tyr smirked 'Of course not. I'm still here right." Dred looked ahead "Guess you're right. Does this effect the plan at all?" Tyr glanced to him "Maybe. We may have to act sooner then intended." Dred nodded and the conversation ended. Jar standing just behind them "What are two talking about?" Dred looked to him "I'll explain later. Til then we'd better find some shelter, it's gonna be one hell of a night."

The lumbering man stumbled a bit after Kazuma split his face and stomach. He screamed at Kazuma and charged again. Kazuma could feel the energy surging through his body, an adrenaline he had never known before. He jumped straight to the air over the mans ax and whipped Rengestu. He watched as it danced down and ripped the mans arm off his body. Kazuma landed just behind him and brought his sword together again. Normally he would have been botherd by this, but he didn't seem to mind the blood and the gore, it was like he was feeding off it. The man grewe pale as he tried to keep up on his feet, Kazumas eyes filled with a terrofying look of joy. He whipped his sword again and severd his head with one clean sweep. He heard the loud gong strike once again, as it reverbarated through the arena the area grew darker and blacker as it had when he first came. Now where was he going? He couldn't tell, that black feeling that had gripped him in the arean was gone as well, which was some what of a relief. He could hear people moving about and conversing. Then, without him even realizing when it happend, he was back at the festival again. He looked around himself and saw that nothing was disturbed, eveything was as it was before he left. What the hell just happend to him and where was that place? Both good questions, but there would be no answers today.
