Azure felt as if he was locked in position. He had never known anything like what had just happend. Her leaving made him feel almost distraught. Something about it made him long for his home and the world he once knew. He wished to return to his normality. Where things weren't this complicated all the time. This girl had just stumbled into his life only a short time ago and yet she was already affecting him to such a degree. He wanted to see her again, but now was not the time. He wasn't ready to fight, but when he was, he would return to her. Azure rose from his seat after what seemed like hours, but he knew was probably only a few minutes. He walked a bit closer to the fire they had started so he might both warm up and dry off. He stared into the blaze that was in front of him and let the image consume his thoughts. The heat, the color, the sparatic motion that seemed to be lashing out at him. Suddenly Luna spoke up again "What are we going to do?" She said looking to jAzure from beside him by the fire. Azure didn't speak for a minute and simply kept looking into the fire. Finally, after it had already seemed like he wasn't going to respond "I don't know what you two will do, but I'm leaving here shortly." The second girl spoke up "Are you going after that girl?" He was silent a minute more, then spoke again "No. I'm not ready yet." The three were in silence for several more minutes til Azure finaly moved from the fire, made his way to the door and took his spear sitting alongside it. He looked back to them before he left "Do as you like. I suggest you wait til the storm passes." Luna barked at him as he was leaving "And what about you? Shouldn't you wait out the storm as well?" Azure stopped and turned to her with a smirk on his face "I am the storm." He turned back to the door and swung it open. He flexed the black wings on his back and with a single kick seemed to almost fly out the door. He had neither a destination nor a goal, but he knew that as he was he was useless. He took to a tree and looked out to the town that was now almost completely consumed by the dark shadow that had fallen upon it. After observing it for a minute he moved on and headed for the coastline. He was sure there was a beach nearby. He could smell the salt water even over the heavy winds and rains of the storm. As he moved across the trees he started thinking about how it wasn't so long ago that oceans were the portals to other worlds. Perhaps they had a clue as to return to his home. Or at least to what brought him here. He gave one more backward glance to the falling town "It's all going to be destroyed. Just like Midgar." A voice echoed out "Yes. Just like then." Azure whipped around to see who it was that was speaking to him, but there was no one around.

Anime What are You Watching/Reading Now?
Starwind replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Otaku Central
Your recommendation is noted and I will be looking into it. I wasn't even aware there was an NHK novel out there, but it definitly sounds like something I'll want to pick up. Also, Avenged, deus is right, you are being robbed. Just so you know he's not the only one who thinks so. Though I don't agree that you always lose out with a dub. I still stand by alot of anime dubs, since most of them are actually pretty good. -
Anime What are You Watching/Reading Now?
Starwind replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in Otaku Central
I'd like to start with thing I'm watching right now. Since my orders to go to Iraq came down I've been spending all the extra money I have to buy more DVDs for the 40 plus hours it's gonna take for me to just get to Kuwait. Seeing this as a problem I went out and bought the rest of the Burst Angel series. This is an awesome series that always offers up good fan service. Plus, I love myself some bad ***, gunslinging babes. Going on that theme, I've started re watching Madlax. This was another fun adrenaline ride with lots of the hot babes and intense fights that I love in anime. The next would have to be Air. This a completely different genre then the first two I mentioned, but I can't help it, I just love this one. I can't help but laugh and cry at this one. It was kinda frightening how emotionally involved I became in this one. I just finished up watching The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. This one I liked, not just because it was hysterical, but because I have a friend who reminds me of Haruhi. With the exception of the fact that he's a guy and can't involutarily bend reality (at least to my knowledge), he is almost exactly like her. It's kinda scary really. I just picked up the complete collectors set of Tenjo Tenge. Again, for great fight scenes and the always abundant fan service. Like I said, I have a soft spot for bad *** chicks. The show could use more guns though. Next up is the rising star Hell Girl. The story is a bit repeatative, but for some reason I can't seem to pull myself away from it. True were only ten episodes in, but I think it has promise. Witchblade is another fan service series. I mean come on, scantily clad, demon warrior women duking it out. What else would you call it. Another series I just started buying is Saikano. It seemed like it was going to be a bit cheesey at first, but I've come to find myself very emotionally invested in this one. Maybe not to the same degree as Air, but nonetheless, I still feel a deep smpathy for the characters in this story. Next for some of the manga I'm reading right now in preparation for my time over seas. I am desperatly waiting for the next volume of Hayate the combat butler. This is a manga that is still funny even after the thrid time around for me. I just love the total randomness of some of the things that happen in it. As well as the countless references to other anime as well. Welcome to the NHK is spectacular. I don't have any words for this. All I'll say is that I recommend this one to just about any anime and manga fan out there. This is one that we can all laugh at. I've been reading School Rumble for awhile now and I'm kind of upset to learn that the next volume won't come out til after I leave for Iraq. I've already put my friends and family on notice to grab it for me and send it on over. This story had a plot at one point, but we've long since forgotten what it was. I recently picked up Hoshin Engi and I must say I like what I've seen of it, but I'm still too green to the series to give a good opinion on it. But first impressions are good, I will say that. -
I suppose the OB is what really got me involved in the online world. To be perfetcly honest I had almost nothing ot do with computers and tried to avoid using them if I could since I usually had issues with them, like when my modem caught fire one day (It wasn't even raining or anything, it just burst into flames on me.) The one day, while I was moving to new house, I went next door to borrow a neighbors computer to try and entertain myself since we didn't have cable in the house yet and I happend to Find the OB by chance. I was skeptical at first, but after a week of just guest visits, I officially signed up. Since then I've gotten alot more involved in the online world. I even signed up for MyO as well, though I haven't used it in quite some time now. But still, If I hadn't found the OB I don't think I would use the computer nearly as much as I do now. And guess what? The computer hasn't blown up since then either. Maybe the OB is my lucky charm.

OOC: There seems to have been a breakdown in communication here since it seems like Flo, Knuckles' girl, and Angels seem to want a piece of Azure right now, so I'm gonna do the best I can to make everyone happy. If any of you have a problem with what I do, just PM me and we'll work out a way to fix it. -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Azure looked back to Dawn and thought for moment. She seemed sincere, but was still a bit odd to him. There really wasn't anywhere else to go except that small cave he had found that seemed to belong to the werewolf chick already. She had been following him ever since he left the cave, but she didn't seem as though she were an enemy. She also wasn't the only one watching them. He had noticed back in town that a girl had followed them to the forest. She hadn't attacked yet, but he wasn't as certain about her alligeance. Azure looked back to Dawn "Very well. I don't care for the rain and a warm cabin would be nice." He then turned his head and started looking outward again "Would either of you two care to come with us?" The girl from the cave poked out from behind a tree, while the girl from the town jumped down from one. The girl from town was the first to sound up "How did you know I was here?" Azure looked back to her "I've lived alone for a long time. I know when I'm being watched and when I'm being followed." The werewolf girl approached slowly, showing the very animal side of herself in sniffing at the air and locking her gaze on them. Dawn seemed like she was completely oblivious to it, because she seemed shocked and a bit frightend that these two girls had been watching them the whole time and she had never noticed. Azure looked to Dawn again "You think this'll be okay?" She hesitated for a moment and looked to the other two and then nodded back to Azure, still seeming a bit uncomfortable about it. She pointed off in the direction and lead them on. As they walked off toward the cottage Azure came alongside her "Don't worry. They won't hurt you." She looked to him for a moment "How do you know?" Azure looked away from Dawn for a moment. He looked back to the other two who were following cautiously. He then looked back to Dawn "Because I know." Dawn nodded back in reply and seemed to calm down a bit after he said this. Why, Azure wasn't too sure. It was really meant to be more informative then comforting, but whatever made her feel better was good enough for him. When the group of four reached the cottage in question, the girl from town wasted no time in speaking out "Do you know where this place is? I'd like to get out of here soon if you don't mind." Azure turned to face her "I'm not that sure where we are either. But if your in the same situation as me, I can tell you that I'm not certain that any of us can get home from here." She stopped for a minute and seemed to drift off in thought. The werewolf girl then approached "Why are you helping us? We could be be waiting for the right moment to attack you." Dawn jumped at the idea, but Azure smirked it off "I think you'd find I'm not such easy prey." Azure looked to the other girl "That aside, what of you two? I feel it's only appropriate we introduce ourselves." They all looked around, seeming a bit uncomfortable going through the formality with a group of people they had only just met in the woods. Azure walked over to a small green couch in the middle of the room "I'll start us out since only one of you even knows my name." He cleared his throat "My name is Azure Dawn. I am from a ruined city called Midgar in a land far from here. Now one of you go."
-
Azure stood locked in place, staring down into the eyes of this young, blonde haired girl who had identified herself as Dawn. He had never known someone to not run from his rather intimdating appearance. His black and yellow eyes were usually enough to off set most people, and if that didn't do it, then the wings on his back always did the trick. But this girls was different. Azure finally opened his mouth after a few minutes of silence "I am Azure Dawn. And I am from a place that I can only assume is far from here. I have no idea what is happening here. I don't even know were here is. I was taken in by the dark clouds that hang over head and I was spirited away from my home." She nodded her head "Ohh, I see." She began to turn her head down to the ground. She was very obvioulsy uncomfortable with the situation. If what she had said was true, then she had probably never had to fight for her life before. Azure surveyed the area, looking to see if any of those little monsters had followed them. He could still sense the dark energy of those monsters coming from within the little town. Seeing so little resitance told him that these were not a warrior people. Like Dawn, most had probably never had to defend themselves from such a ruthless enemy before. Azure knealt down "Have you never had to fight for your life before?" The girl looked back up to him "No. I never dreamed something so terrible would actually happen here." Azure nodded his head and began to walk deeper into the forest. Dawn called to him from behind "Where are you going!?" Azure looked back to her "I'm going to look for some shelter for the night. The storm is bad and I wouldn't risk returning to the town tonight. You can do as you like." As he walked off he could hear her behind him. She asked him "Why did you save me back there?" Azure stopped again, but didn't turn around this time. He still wasn't that sure why he had saved her. She was little more then a burden to him. But yet, she was someone he didn't turn away when she looked at him "I don't know why. I just did."
-
The landscape was begining to get crowded and the air was ripe with dark and evil intentions. Azure watched this new, and quite obviously sinister man approach him, the blonde girl and the dark haired one. The girl with the dark hair seemed distracted for but a split second by this newcomer. Azure took his chances and blitz rushed her with his spear in the lead. The girl jumped, but responded well, parrying Azure's spear to the ground. Azure then used the rod like a pole vault, bending the staff and using its flex to drive his right leg at her in a kick. She turnd her sword up to block but was still pushed back by his strike. As the dark haired girl got her balance back, Azure took the opportunity to snatch up the blonde girl and make a run for it. He could sees that in this situation he was hopelessly out classed and out powerd. This was a fight better left for another time. Azure leaped to the rooftop from which he had come and looked down to the dark haired girl "My name is Azure!" He shouted over the rain "I know it's self serving, but I'm calling a cease fire for now. I know that at this moment I'm not ready to fight you, but I swear that the next time we meet we'll have a proper fight." And with that said Azure ran off with the seemingly dumb struck blonde girl flung over his shoulder. To which, he still wasn't that sure why he felt the need to snach her up as he left. Well, whatever the reason, it was too late to turn back and dump her off now. He'd just have to come up with a new idea and go from there.

The smell of that fresh meat was starting to make Emilios' stomach growl. He wasn't much of a hunter and rarely got to have good meat like this. He looked about there make shift camp at the group of still new faces. He wanted to get know some of them a bit better before their work was done, but now wasn't the time. Emilio got back to his feet and walked off into the wood line to go find Miles and Den. As he walked off he could here a voice call out to him "Where are you going?" Emilio turned to see Kaiyi looking right at him. He gave her a smile "To play. Wanna come with?" She gave him an odd look. Like she meant to ask 'is that anyway for a grown man to act', but instead she just shook her head "No, that's fine. Have fun." With that, Emilio turned back around and continued on his way into the woods. Once he got about good 100 yards from the camp, Den and Miles revealed themselves to him. Miles was a bit irritated "How long were you planing to keep us waiting here. It's already so late." Den just shook her head "Take it easy on him." She looked to Emilio "Are you having fun yet?" Emilio smiled back to them "A little bit, but not for the reasons I thought." He drifted off in his thoughts for a moment before snapping back "Anyway, let's get to practice. I've still got alot to learn about flying." The two smiled and took to the night skies. Emilio crouched down and built up his strength into his legs and with one thrust, he was in the air, already well above the tree tops, doing his best to reach Den and Miles who were already so high in the sky. Emilio tried his best, but he just couldn't reach them. As he came back down to the ground, Den and Miles followed. Miles came along side Emilio "Don't worry boy. You're doing better all the time. I'm sure you'll get the hang of it eventually. You can already fly higher then most humans could ever dream of doing." The rare words of encouragement from Miles were refreshing, but this didn't help much to take the sting out of yet another failed attempt. He was starting to wonder if earth bound life was the doomed fate of all humans. Emilio looked back to Miles and Den once more "I'm gonna head back to the camp now. Besides, if I try to fly there it could be good practice." And with a smile on his face and quick push with his legs he was off and sailing back to camp, just above the tree top canopy.

I Forgot What You People Look Like (Image Heavy)
Starwind replied to 2010DigitalBoy's topic in General Discussion
I just realized that most of you people don't know what I look like. It's time I put a face to the evil. This is me in uniform with my buddy Jason down there in the corner. I'm just a sexy beast, huh folks. -
I guess the reason I keep coming back is because this was the first message board I became involved with on a regular basis. And since that time I haven't found many others who hold to this level of quality like I get here on the OB. Not to mention the friends I've made here. Though I'm sure I've made my share of enemies as well. Even though they might not admit to it, I know of a few people on here who don't particularly care for me much. And to be honest, I'm fine with that. It'd be boring if I only had friends here. Believe it or not, I like arguing with people and just breaking off on long tangent rants. Next I must say that the RPing here is top quality as well. I've gotten to be involved in a whole montage of wild and wonderful RPs with some really creative people who are just so much fun to play with. Sure I've met a few who were a little sub par and the overly anal, but over all I've had mostly good experiences.

NAMBLA: How far can you stretch the first ammendment
Starwind replied to Starwind's topic in General Discussion
That's the scary part. Alot of these guys DO have families. They believe that they can help there children grow and adapt better by "helping" them experience their sexuality at a young age. What's worse is they think what they're doing is noble and a just cause. I'm all for public rights and everything, but the idea that these guys can spew their venom about like this makes me sick to my stomach. -
Azure continued wandering the long and lonely streets of this forgein town in this forgein land. Azure hadn't seen many more of those little creatures. Only a handful of random straglers that just happend to get caught in Azures' cross hairs. The rain fall was still pounding down on the streets. Azure marched through this hollow feeling place, looking for something or someone to give him some answers. He suddenly saw a light that was just like the one that his new weapon had let off. A bright, yet gentle, light. Azure started to move his way toward the light, hoping to find it's source. With one leap, he was on the roof of the neighboring building. Azure looked out and saw two young girls standing out in the rain. One of them had a sword in her hand that had a blade that was oddly similar to the one on his spear. The dark haired girls seemed to be a bit out of odds in this situation and the blonde haired girls seemed too timid to be weilding a weapon like that one. Esspecially if it was as formidable as Azures' new spear. He felt like the one with dark hair was up to something. It was at this time that her eyes gazed up and happend to notice Azure standing on the roof top, looking down on them. But she didn't seemed surprised to see him, which was a bit odd. Had she known about him already? Azure jumped down from his hiding place "What are you ladies doing out in the rain? You'll catch your death if your not careful." He said this with an odd smile on his face, like he was happy. The blonde girl had an expectedly shocked look on her face and dark haired girl was looking him over "Well aren't you an interesting individual. And you have a key blade as well. Or, should I say key spear." Azure looked at his new weapon, this "Keyblade". He turned back to the dark haired girl "So you know something about this? I'm suddenly very interested in you." The two gazed at each other for a moment before the blonde haired girl made herself known again "What are you two doing?" They both looked to her for a moment, then back to each other. Azure braced himself and took up a stance. He could feel her dark presense even over the storm. She was here to take something for herself, no matter what she had to do for it. Azure cocked his smile into a smirk "I think we've both played nice for long enough." The two returned to smiling at each other as the tention continued to mount.

This is all happening a little fast for old Emilio. Though it was hard to dispute the fact that it was all really fun for him. Everyone seemed to be unique in there own way. Wolfie seemed a little full of himself, but who knows, maybe he can back up his boasting. Shoko seems addiment to help save as many lives as she could, no matter what. Maybe it was a whimsical idea, but it was also kind of endearing in a way. Daly seemed like she didn't care much for clothes and Kaiyi seemed to be just full of little surprises. He still couldn't get much of a reading off of Rei yet, which was kinda throwing him off. Miles and Den had long since taken refugee apart from the group. They weren't nearby, but Emilio could still sense there presense. The lush outdoor forest felt much more like home then the open road or any other city he had ever been through. Keeping this in mind, he still wasn't sure why he cared whether the war ended or not. He slowly walked along the banks of the river listening to the sounds of nature and his new comrades ramble on. Emilio turned to them "Why do you think they all started fighting to begin with?" Shoko replied first "That's what were trying to find out." She sounded a bit irritated at his question. Emilio just kinda tilted his head "If no one knows why they're fighting then why do they keep doing it? Shoko seemed a bit upset at the comment, but didn't bother respond. Kaiyi sounded up this time "They just keep fighting because that's how they were taught. They've been fighting for so long that it's all they know." Emilio turned around and let out a deep sigh "What goes through the human mind? Teaching hate like that. I maybe human in form, but neither I nor my family count myself among you." Wolfie barked at him "What do you mean your family doesn't consider you human?" Emilio turned his head to look back "I mean my dragon, Den and Miles the pheonix. They are my family. And the only one I've ever had or ever wanted. You humans are quick to fight and quick to hate. I'm amazed the race hasn't driven itslef to extinction yet." The group went silent, though Emilio could sense that none were pleased with what he had to say.

NAMBLA: How far can you stretch the first ammendment
Starwind replied to Starwind's topic in General Discussion
I agree with Nerdsy: it's one thing to promote an idea that most people will find reprehensible, but it's another to actually work actively to help people get around the law. I would highly doubt that the latter is protected by free speech provisions.
The truth is, techincally it is. As long as they don't actually tell people to go out and commit a crime, it is perfectly legal for them to tell someone how you can get away with one. As long as you don't actually tell someone to do it, your technically safe, which irritates me to no end. -

Azure was wrapped in light. He felt as if he was moving, but he couldn't see anything around him. What the hell had that lunatic back on the badlands done to him? And what was with that storm? Now he was trapped in this endless sea of light that seemed to whisking him away. Was this what they meant by being spirited away? Azure suddenly felt a thud, like he had just fallen to the ground. As the light that had surrounded him faded he began to realize that he wasn't in the ruins of Midgar anymore. He didn't even recognize where he was. The only thing that was the same was that large and ominous storm that hung high over head. As he looked at things more closely, the first thing he noticed was that his spear looked different. It was a normal spear anymore. The handle was a deep crimson with some unreadable script chizzled in gold. The end had about a eight or nine inch silver chain hanging off it. The blade on the end was oddly shaped. It looked almost like a key. It was as this thought enterd his head that he rememberd the words of the man back at Midgar. He wanted a key! Did he mean this thing? Azure suddenly became aware of the fact that something was watching him. Finally pulled himself to his feet and looked around. There was a rather large group of ever slowly approaching black monsters. They looked different from the monsters of the badlands and were awfully small in stature. One of them jumped for him and Azure quickly slid to his left and cut the little beast in half. It quickly disappeared in a dark puff of smoke. The others were begining to approach him. Azure braced himself for their attack. The tip of this new key shaped blade began to shine brightly. The light seemed to push back the monsters. It was certainly bright, but oddly enough, not blinding. It was completely different from the light that had brought him here "Isn't this odd." He said to himself as the rain continued to pound down on him, the creature and the ground around them. Azure took one more step, then lunged at the crowd in front of him and began to drill his way through. He felt their presence coming at him from behind. He turned his right foot 90 degrees and turned on a dime and retaliated with a wide sweep, dispatching five of the little pug uglies. A second barrage was closing in on his right an instant later. Azure planted his spear tip in the cobble stone ground to his left and rose his right leg and kicked four of them back. The fifth got close, but was quickly put down by a well placed knee drop right on it's tiny head. yet another group struck from behind him. Azure ripped his spear free of the cobble stones and split two right up the middle. He then swung the staff around and used the butt of the spear to knock the other three off to his right. And with one quick spin, cut the remining three in half. The last few still present seemed hesitant to attack since he had just decimated their numbers. But there was no way in hell that Azure was going to let them run. As soon as their backs were turned to run he killed the remaining six. He smirked a bit "The weak shouldn't challenge the strong. Unless of coarse they seek death without mercy." A voice suddenly spoke out from behind Azure "Precisely." Azure whipped around to find that he was still alone. All he could see were the empty streets, and all he could hear was the rain pounding down around him.

Now, for those of you not familiar with this group of perverted swine, let me introduce. The North American Man Boy Love Association, or NAMBLA, is a group of grown men who believe they can help children as young as 3 years old come into there sexuality. Essentially it is a hide out group for pedophiles or would be pedophiles. And yet if you look for this group online and even in your own communites, you can find these people out there openly expressing these veiws that essential say that as soon as child can spit out a coherent sentence, their old enough to consent to sex. This is disgusting and completely reprehensible. The main point I wanted to bring into focus here is "How far does the first ammendment extend?" These sickos publish everything from group information pamphlets to news letters and use the constitution as a shield essentially. I mean, if you read these damn pamphlets you'd see that this thing is pretty much the pedophiles how to guide. Going on about how you should hide your "Love" affair from everyone, to include your shrink. And, how to properly hide all their photos from their familes and police. It's bad enough we have to extend this right to f***ing white supremesist groups, but do we really have to let these sickos just, essentially, train pedophiles. And just to throw my two cents in, I think we should round up all these guys and just castrat them and turn it into the North American My Balls Lack Attachment Association. You wouldn't even have to change the letter head. I'm always thinking of the little guy, you know. I know someone here has an opinion on this one. Come on people, let hear it.

This was all really rather fascinating to Emilio, but thruth be told, he had no real reason to be here. He didn't care about the war and didn't really want to be in anyway a part of it. He was still trying to figure out why he had even come in the first place. He thought maybe because he was looking for a good time, but the longer he sat around the more bored he was becoming, so that wasn't it. Sure it was interesting to think about, but it didn't sound like it was gonna be fun. As he drew off into these thoughts he felt a whack on the back of his head for one of Miles blue feathery wings "Pay attention. I don't care if your bored. You brought us here, so the least you could do is focus on something other then women!" Miles didn't appreciate his lack of focus, while Den had long since lost interest and had gone to sleep. All Emilio had really managed to get a grasp on was that this Wolfie guy had killed the painted chicks people. How that was relevant to the situation was beyond Emilio, but he was willing to role with it anyway. Miles kept throwing in his two cents, saying "How barbaric these humans are. Slaughtering each other for some false good or out of pure malice. I don't see a reason to trust any of them." Miles was awfully long winded, but this wasn't anything he hadn't gone on about before. Everytime they stopped in a town, Miles could go on for hours about the dregs of human society. It was funny at first, but was now starting to grow tiresome. Emilio simply looked over to Miles "Humans are a bit complex, I'm afraid. They do terrible things, true. But were obviously not all bad." Miles looked away again "Well anyway, this situation has nothing to do with us. Let's just see what happens. Maybe we'll get the chance to see a new side of the human soul." And with that, they both fell silent.

Azure stood to the side of the road and marched without a care in the world to where he went next. He had been in the bad lands for a number of days now and was really hoping for someone to come along soon. Messengers of all kinds came through this region, so it made for good pickings. Sure there were some who could fight back pretty good, but most were easy enough to muscle out of there goods. The clouds were turning dark in the distance. Probably storm coming in. This was kinda odd, since the badlands were known for being dryer then usual this time of year. It was looking kinda bad too. That was no good. If a bad storm came in then all the messengers would take to shelter and then it would make it harder for Azure to get the jump on them. It seemed like Asure should take to shelter too. He was close to the ruins of Midgar, so he decided to take refuge there for the first time since he had run from that town. It's hard to believe that this once proud city was now little more then a tomb for his ill gotten memories. The last few years these ruins had seen even more battles, but now were silent once more. As Azure reached the gates of the city, he turned to notice that the Storm was almost right on top of him. It was moving with almarming speed and seemed to be growing in size. As Azure gazed on at the slowly approaching storm he noticed someone walking just ahead of the storm. Like it was following him. He couldn't quite make out who it was. Just that he was wearing a long black robe and seemed to move like he was floating. Something about him filled Azure with dread. Azure took the spear strapped to his back in hand "Hey you!" He screamed over the howling wind "Your not welcome here! You'll turn back if you value your well being!" The man kept coming, undetterd by Azures threat. Which was more then just a threat. He was more then ready to send this guy packing in a big hurry. But he just kept marching, like he didn't even hear him. Or simply didn't care. After his long dead man march, the shourded man stopped only feet in front of Azure. The man turned his head up just enough for Azure to get a look at his mouth. The man smiled "Is it you?" Azure hesitated for a moment. The man spoke again "Do you have the key?" This guy was starting to babble about some kind of key now. Azure braced himself of a charge, but was stopped by a sudden lightining bolt that struck in the limited space between the two of them. The flash of light had blinded Azure, but he could still hear the mans voice, even over the increasingly violent winds "I can see the key inside you!" He shouted "I must have it!" The light wasn't fading, but rather getting brighter. And as it got brighter it also got quieter. The mans voice was fading along with all the sounds of the storm that was just in front of him til only moments ago. Soon he couldn't even feel a solid surface beneath his feet anymore. It was as if he was being carried away, but lacked the strength and the will to fight it.

I guess I could say I'm a Bisexual. I usually find myself attracted to women, but I have had my fair share of flings with men. Trust me, I can understand being awkward with it too. Not because of my parents who are very excepting, but more so because of the fact that I'm in the military and there not quite as open minded. I was actually really worried when I was still back in Texas and went to some hotel room with some cute guy I met at a club. It was so close to post and there were so many people I knew from work at the club, I thought I was screwed for sure. And just for the record: I did not have sex with him that night. We just kinda made out for a little bit and fell asleep together. Nor have I had sex with anyone, ever(Though I had really wanted to that night). Yeah, I'm a virgin. Not exactly proud, but I wouldn't say ashamed of it either.

It was starting to turn into a regular sasuage fest here. Shoko was the only femine release he had now. To make it worse this new guy seemed like he was kinda full of himself. Miles flew out from the wood line and landed on Emilios' shoulder. Everyone turned and looked at the shimering blue bird. Miles scanned the group "I still don't like this. Make sure they know I'm only here because I wouldn't let you do this alone." Emilio began to laugh as the group simply looked back to him. It was easy for him to forget that most people couldn't hear, much less understand, Miles voice and words. Emilio composed himself "This one here is named Miles and he's like a brother to me. He just wanted me to let you know that he doesn't like any of you. Don't worry though. He doesn't like humans in general. I was very surprised he came at all." The group just shot him an odd look as Den also crawled out from behind the trees as well. Den came up from behind Emilio and layed down beside and around him, showing that she had no faith in them either. The new guy, Wolfie, sounded up "What's there problem? They act like were going to kill you." Emilio just smiled some more "Well, they think you might. They're my family and they don't trust humans very willingly. Like I said, they're only here because I said I was coming no matter what." They all just kind of stared on as Emilio smiled and went about talking with Den and Miles. It was a rather odd kind of thing for the others to have to see, since they could only understand the parts between Den and Emilio.

Being a soldier myself, this story fills me with a great deal of anger at the very thought of it. Protesting a soldiers funeral for gods sake! These people oughta be castrated so they can't spread their diseased seed through out the country. And even if it wasn't a soldier, or even prostesting the funeral itself, Protesting at a grave yard during a funeral, no matter what the cause, just reeks of bad taste. I can't even imagine the ind of audacity it takes to even consider that kind of idea. And now they make a matter of freedom of speech, and the right to protest like the cowards they are. They wanna picket a soldiers funeral, a man who died so they could have the right to do this crap, and then want to shield themselves with the consitution. Have you ever noticed how cowards like these always hide behind freedom. Using it as an excuse to spread messages of hate and build contempt for there fellow man, but they'll never to an honorable thing like stand in it's defence like that brave man, who's funeral they protested. They should all burn in hell for that crap! Sorry. Got a little distracted. I just find the whole idea repulsive and there SHOULD be laws to stop this kind of thing.

Emilio was walking leisurely along this humble back road. Not a worry in the world. Miles was a bit less comfortable with the situation. He didn't like the idea of meeting some girl they didn't even know to try and end a war they weren't even aware of. Miles perched himself on Emilios' shoulder "Your just going for a chance to flirt with some girl, aren't you!" Emilio simply smiled and kept right on walking. Den was flying far over head, keeping an eye out for them. Miles continued to do little more then complain about the situation. Miles gave a huff "I don't like the idea of getting involved with these humans." Emilio glanced at Miles "I'm human too, in case you forgot." Miles chuckled a bit "I've never thought of you as some foolish human. You know that, my boy. You had the good fortune to be raised by myself and Den. Otherwise you might have already died in this pointless war." Emilio laughed it off as Den began to fly down to the ground to join them. As Den touched down on the ground she called out to them "The clearing is only a few hundred yards ahead. I can see the woman and her dragon already waiting for us." Emilio nodded and the three continued on foot til they came into the open clearing. There stood a blonde woman with both a large griffon and a dragon standing there with her. Emilio slowly approached this woman, Den and Miles being a bit more reserved, deciding to wait til they could trust her before coming out of the woodline. Emilio walked right over to her with a smile on his face and a streak of confidence "I'm assuming your Shoko. I must say I wasn't expecting you to be quite so lovely." Emilio could practically hear Miles and Den letting out there irritated sighs from here.

I figure since it's already so easy to get ahold of why not do just that. Make it accessible but regulated. We already have all kinds of regulations on the legal drugs in this country like cigarrettes and alchol. Esspecially the latter of the three. The bottom line is that the responsiblity rests solely on the individual. Some people abuse these drugs, esspecially alchol, but not everyone. I just think that it's kinda think that if you let people chose, that there will be alot less mystery involved. I'm the perfect example. I've never smoked a regular cigarrette and have no interest in doing so, but I have tried marijuana before. I wouldn't do it again, but I think the reason I was so interested in doing it in the first place was for the simple fact that I knew I wasn't suppose to. You know, the forbidden fruit and all. The more you tell someone they can't have something the more they actually want it. Also, I would like to point out how simple offences like possesion block up our legal systema nd keep us from more expediently trying serious crimes. I say just go ahead and legalize it, if no other reason then the fact that it'll help get some of these simple court cases out of the way of our already over worked court system so we can get around to putting real criminals in jail.

I'm not good with white lies. Or any lies in general. Those who know me know that even if I try to lie, I'm a terrible liar, so I simply try to honest as often as I can. Sadly, this leads me to be a little brutally honest at times. This explains my rather small group of friends. I don't compliment food I don't like, if the music someone is listening to sucks I'm more then happy to tell them right to there face, if I don't want to do something I'll tell them I'm not going to do it and why. I just can't help myself sometimes. I know there are plenty of people here who know I can be a real jerk sometimes. I can't help it. It's part of who I am. I can understand why it would be important to tell a couple of white lies to be nice or considerate. But I'm just a little to impulsive with my mouth. If asked my opinion I tend to say whatever is actually in my head, no matter how mean it might sound. In my life I have had to suffer the consquences of this impulsion many times. I've taken a few beatings for it, both physical and verbal depending on who I was talking to. But hey, at least I'm honest. Which is more then I can say for some people I know. If you don't want to suffer at the wrath of my impulsion, don't ask for or let me express my opinion to you. This is only recommened to those with extremely tough skin.
