1. {{ Yepyep people.. 'Tis me again. After a.. say.. 5-month-silence period. Been slacking, been studying (a brutal reality), been sleeping. And was continuously attacked by the 'art' block (writer's block, artists' block?). Then.. saved~! Thank you pal, you brought back the inspiration to me, and bade me produce my favvy character again. Alucard from Hellsing, yepyepyep. And also.. I'm doing much better with the pen tool.. still haven't invested on a tablet.. 6_< The lineart is >>>>> Here. I still haven't figured out what type of colouring method would be best. Please, with my throw-all-my-sheep-into-the-ravine mood, please pass me some pointers and crits before I colour it, put it nicely in DeviantArt. X3 }}
2. Awwight. I took your advices, and tweaked the piece a tad bit more.. Inclusive of chair, hands, etc etc. Thanks for commenting-- I sure need another person's pair of eyes. Many people do, anyway^_^ ..Wanna peek at the coloured version?Here And again, thanks. :animesmil
3. Alright. So I thought to myself one day.. Since inking my art stuff is a blotch of sauce on one's shirt, I messed about with an old piece of Alucard from Hellsing(as usual), and sorta 'inked' it out on Adobe Photoshop. Otherwise known as line art. And it was a blessing in disguise.. I suppose. However, it is in need of improvement(no kidding).. And is half-done(no-duh) So criticize away.. :shifty: WARNING.. Image.. large.. :animedepr
4. Hmm. Though you might not think it so obvious, I can recognise him as Spike from CowboyBeebop. It's GREAT, even if it's half-done. Hoorah. I think the (great bushy)hair of his is a little out at the top(the 'center of clump' is a tad bit too right), but other than that, the pose is suitable to his sorta character, Spike himself picture perfect!! I can't wait to see the completed piece. Oh.. and.. Why do I see little green patches behind his collar..? :animeknow
5. Hmm. I'd like to have a tablet and OekakiBBS one day. I use Adobe Photoshop v7 for colouring my pictures, which I ink first then scan, usually. Some prefer to 'outline' their sketches graphically with the pen-tool, which requires lots of patience(which I lack). You can use these programs(the more commonly used): Corel Painter, Adobe Photoshop, Paintshop Pro or oekaki/paint BBS:D
