1. So I'm a film student, and I have a script due on Wednesday. It's a 3 minute film with no dialogue that can't have weapons, alarm clocks, explosions, flashbacks, cliches, or dream sequences. Every time I try to think of a story, I just draw a blank. Any ideas anyone?
2. I'm going to have to agree with pretty much everything that's been said so far, with the exception of the Avenged Sevenfold supporters. I'm really surprised that no one has mentioned Nickelback yet. I really don't see whatever it is that their fans see in them.
3. I really don't believe that we can say that humanity has progressed one bit. To count what we have done as progress, we must first know what we are progressing towards. Until a purpose is found, no progress can be made. Go existentialism!
4. Actually, yesterday I was going outside to feed my dogs, and when I bent down to scoop up the food, I puked. It was so weird, because it came from nowhere. My stomach never hurt beforehand, and the regurgitation wasn't painful in the least. I remember saying to myself, "Well that just came out of left field." Then I brushed my teeth and continued about my daily business.
5. Detroit has a pretty ood garage rock scene, and California has some pretty awesome indie music.
6. The White Stripes - Even More Awesome/Garage Louis XIV - Just Plain Awesome/Garage/Indie Clap Your Hands Say Yeah - Indie/Expiremental Rilo Kiley - Indie The Fiery Furnaces - Expiremental/Indie Those are the big 5 bands that I like. I'm into a lot of other stuff too, but these are the ones I'm listening to right now. McClusky is also really good, The Smashing Pumpkins are good but I'm sure you've heard them by now. And lastly, if you like folk at all, try some Devendra Banhart.
7. I disappoint myself by owning Fall Out Boy's CD, "Under The Cork Tree." I believe that's what its called, but I'm not positive. Then I have this one really horrible local band's 5-year-old demo. I then redeem myself with some Clap Your Hands Say Yeah. And then I bring myself back down by owning PCD's first album. Theory: The P*ssy Cat Dolls are one big guilty pleasure that EVERYONE has.
8. "We must always take sides. Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented."--Elie Wiesel "The pioneers of a warless world are the youth that refuse military service."--Albert Einstein "I'm here because I chose to be here! Destiny had nothing to do with it!"--Irvine Kinneas Yeah.
9.
i think what they called you heartless for is you voice your oppion like that in their time of need. they were just looking for someone to be sad with.
As I have said before, I didn't say that to anyone in their time of need. I didn't say that to anybody at all. I just discussed that matter with my friends just like I have discussed it on this board.
He has never informed us about how he would actually react on such a situation, but I'm glad that he has at least taken care of the idea that he would just tell them "I don't care" in their face.
Its happened before, and it doesn't really bother me, because I've accepted death as it really is. Just another thing that happens.
10.
"Most commonly accepted." There aren't official pronunciations but the guide lists how most people (myself included) pronounce those words.
Ah, I see. I was confused there for a while.
11.
Hylian hī·lēăn (hi lee an) As quoted from Zelda Universe's pronunciation guide. Those are the most commonly accepted pronunciations for some odd Zelda names.
If they don't say the names aloud in the games, how can there be a pronunciation guide?
12. Alright, my friend Bebo and I are currently in a debate over the pronunciation of "Hylian" as in the Hylian Shield from the Zelda games. I say that the "hyl" in Hylian makes the sound like the word "hill," while he says it sounds like "heil"(the nazi greeting). What do you guys think?
13.
Originally posted by NIKI12345: After a while I noticed that nobody talked to this guy. Here is the scary part why. He has this list of people he wants dead! Yeah it scared me to the first time I saw it too.
1)I don't really believe in classifying people as "freaks," or classifying people in any way at all. 2)As Sandy said, yes, many people have these lists. They aren't that uncommon. 3)How do you know he has this list? Because when people make them, they tend to keep it private. He wouldn't just go up and say "Here, take a look at this," or anything like that. If I were to venture a guess, you heard it from someone else. Just gossip. Some advice: Don't believe everything you hear. If you must judge people, get to know them first.

Zoids!!

I believe that "the normal zoids" that you're talking about is Zoids: New Century. I can't remember much about either of the shows, but I do definitely remember that I like Chaotic Century a lot better than new. I don't...really...have much else to...say.
15. Riing...Ring...Kent waited to hear the operators "911, what is the emergency?" or something of the sort...Ring...nothing. He hung up the phone and pulled out his cigarettes and lighter, lit one, and began to think about what had just happened. As he thought, he flipped the T.V. on to the local news channel. "--rioting and hate crimes is one theory. Another theory earlier dispatched was that it was cult killings, but the numbers are too big for that to be the case," said the young woman on the news. "For those of you just joining us, there has been a massive string of murders in the city. Police officers advise everyone to stay in their homes, lock their doors, and arm themselves with whatever you can. These murderers look almost as if they are sleepwalking. They use no weapons, and they are cannibals. Here is some footage from a mall security camera shot earlier today." The T.V. cut to a lo-res video. It showed a seemingly dead man standing up, as two people rushed over to him. The "dead" man bit one of the men, in the same fashion that the man bit Jase, and was gunned down by another. Kent flicked off the T.V. The words "arm yourself" still rang in his head. Kent jumped up and ran to his garage, to grab his dad's machete. Then after he went back to his room and grabbed his .45 pistol, a couple of extra clips, extra ammo, and another pack of Camels. He went back into the living roomand turned his television back on. Kent sat on his recliner, and watched in fear as he loaded his spare clips.
