O.o Where will you hide, when the zombies attack?
DaSilva replied to YoukaiAlchemist's topic in General Discussion
Pfft. Hiding. I'd say I'd go into kicka** insanity mode and tear those *****ers apart with a massive array of weaponry. -
My dreams consist of a compilation of extreme oddness. The following is a short list of a few my akward, weird, unconcious thoughts: 1) A large group of people taking part in an extreme act of what would look like anarchy, but isn't, because the whole mess is being conducted by this girl in my school. The weird thing is that the girl is a huge "Jesus Freak" (Not saying that people following one of the many parts of the Roman Catholic religion are freaks, that is just a title that I have heard). 2) Being chased by a large group of things including: Carnies, Clowns, Large Teddy Bears, and my favorite foods. 3) Me flying into things (walls, people, churches, goats, etc).

I saw the movie last night, and it is spectacular. I still favor the first one though.
I wonder what will happen to Jeff's (I think that's his name) daughter.

Did anyone else think it was ironic that Jigsaw's skull was cut open by a jigsaw?
1. What religion are you CURRENTLY following? If you don't have one, then why? I don't know what you could call me at the moment.I guess it classifies mainly under an Atheist. I have my own system of morals and beliefs that I like to live by. And as far as a god goes, I don't believe in one. I believe in what I know is real. If some omniscient, omnipresent being makes and actual physical appearance someday, sure I'll believe in it. I may not follow the religion that follows that particular deity afterward, because I still have my own system. 2. Why do you follow that religion? Parents, personal reasons, etc? Atheism to me is like a default religion. I am an American, and becuase of that, I was pretty much raised as a christian. That's what American society today does. Plus I have my christian parents to deal with. I just don't see why people would live there lives by some archaic book that a few guys wrote. For all we know, the bible was just written by some random schizo guy who was hearing voices that he understood as "God." So I just got fed up with Christianity, and said screw it. And so I got here. 3. Do you ever feel that people often critisize you because of these beliefs? Yes, because the hick town I live in is about 95 percent christian. Need I really say more? 4. This one may spark a little bit of arguing: Do you believe that your religion is the one true religion? If so provide evidence. I believe that people should create their own morals and ethics, not follow someone elses.
This thread is specifically for those little things(or big)you do to just get away from the the world around you... Me personally I'm a pretty "free" guy but at times I just gotta get away from things and the main thing I do is go to this abandoned little colony(i think it was) in the woods near me and(!warning this is a little PG!)get free from my clothing. I know it sounds a lil' weird but it is really calming...so calming I got a little following going...and majority of my "followers" are ladys. :D :2women:
Kudos to that man, I thought I was the only one. I too have a little place near my house in the woulds where I go.

Congress Passes Detainee Interrogation Bill
DaSilva replied to Retribution's topic in General Discussion
Yeah. The legalization of torture is extremely dangerous and we must resist it and we must succeed. It is the kind of thing that makes the world hate us and want to attack us. It creates justification for terrorists to recruit members to their cause. A few days ago the president of Venezuela called Bush "The Devil", which was a crazy thing to do, but his speech drew more applause than Bush's speech. The world is trying to tell us something. The United States is considered by most of the world to be the biggest threat on the planet. This is in part because the world has higher expectations of us and it is shocking that we have lowered ourselves to the level of barbarians. -
I have found a brilliant analogy to get clearly across clearly to you guys who is truly the bad guy in this picture. Ever seen Robin Hood? Steals from the rich and gives to the poor? Ringing any bells? Well that is exactly what I did. I Robin Hooded the **** out of this "Prince John."
Alright seeing as the entire team has been filled, I'm claiming the spot of their disembodied master who exists in a giant tube, a la Zordon.
Dibs on Lord Zed.

I still claim that I have taken the proper measurements to cover my tracks. So go ahead, make your calls. You are just going to look like ******** to the board of education. There is still much to this fiasco that is unknown to absolutely everybody.
Dude, give it up. You're caught. I took screenshots of your profile so that in case you modify your profile to feign innocence, I've got evidence. That, and he got the right school. I referenced your page to find your school (which will remain undisclosed), and he got it on the money. We'll be doing follow up calls in the morning to make sure your school's office took him seriously. Crime doesn't pay.
Whatever you say, chief.

I would just like everyone to know that John either called the wrong school, or he is lying about calling in the first place. The vice principal, in charge of the discipline "Mr. Adams" has made no comment to me about anything. Nor has anyone else. I would also like to point out that I am clever enough to cover my tracks, otherwise I would never have made this thread. Next is the fact that I found the code, and I gave the phone to a dear friend of mine, that doesn't have enough money to get any type of phone, let alone a Razr. I never said that I was going to keep the phone. My full intent was to be charitable about the whole thing anyway, but only to those who deserve it. Not to some high class asshole who has backup phones. Yeah, that's right, he refers to it as backup phones. He came to school today with a Motorola Sliver. And lastly, I would like to say that John, you are so screwed. Rats are at the bottom of the chain in my book, but definitely at the top of my black list. You are ******d.
Is that so? You're lying. I just phoned my friend who has a Razr and asked him. He's told me that when he entered his code wrong a message popped up (he said he thinks it said "Flash Failed") and he had to click something to get rid of the message before re-entering the code. I've called your bluff. Friends FTW. And no. If you really believed in karma you would know that you finding out who really owns the phone is karma's way of giving you a chance to redeem yourself.
There is no bluff to call. I am not lying. The message says, and I quote, "Unlock code incorrect. Access denied." You do not have to click out of the message. You can exit out of this message by pressing a number, and the number you press goes directly on to inputting the next code that you try. Why would I be lying, anyways? And I have no need to redeem myself from karma. I have done nothing wrong.
-
That's assuming you can input each code in 2 seconds. Which you can't. You see after you input the code, you have to click OK, and then wait or something. Than it says like "Code Invalid" or something and you hit OK. I'm just assuming that if you enter the code and it's wrong it doesn't automatically reset for you.
I have been timed. I put 10 codes in in 20 seconds. It does automatically reset.
-
Well, obviously you're not getting the 4-digit anytime soon.
Not true. I did the math, and if it takes me 2 seconds to input each code, it only takes 5.5 hours to go through each number. I'm just too lazy to do it.
Keeping the phone for yourself is bad karma. So, nyeh. You lose.[/FONT']
That's one interpretation. Another is that karma is paying me back for the **** that I have to put up with.
-
Well I later found out who's phone it was. Its the douche-bag captain of the wrestling teams. I actually had given serious consideration to turning the thing in, but karma had caught up to him for being a d*ck to everybody. I don't wanna mess with karma.

Customer service says that once an unlock code is changed, it can't be recovered. They can't reset the phone to default or anything. As for the method in which I obtained the phone, its not really illegal, so I will say how. I was just walking through the school parking lot yesterday, and there was this thing. Not a physical thing. It was more like a feeling. I looked around, and there it was, beckoning to me. I picked it up, and pocketed it. You see, I didn't steal it, it called to me. I swear. It needed a good home.

I have acquired a free Motorola Razr in ways that will be left unmentioned. The problem is, I have to know the 4-digit unlock code to get into it. Does anyone know any possible way to find this information out? Here's what I have tried thus far: 1)I switched sim cards. The code is apparently on the phone, not the card. 2)I have tried most of the obvious numbers (0000, 1234, all variations of the number 69, etc.) The only thing that I can think of today is counting from 0000 to 9999. I am up to 0700 right now. Can anyone help me?

Alright, so I was thinking to myself, as I was reading the Robot Chicken thread. There have been a couple of Adult Swim show threads on here, but something was missing. And then I realized, what good is an Adult Swim discussion without Brak? You know, the half-cat, half-baked space pirate that had his own show on the old school Adult Swim? Myself, I think that it is the funniest show that's been on AS. I mean, who doesn't love quoting the stupid things on that show. Well I'll tell you something. I don't love not quoting them. That's right, double negative. So does anyone else like the show? Zorak: So what are we going to do now? Brak: We'll make a kite out of squirrels, and fly it to the moon! Brak: Last time I had this much fun, I was face-down in a pizza pie, eating my way to freedom! Brak: I haven't that this much fun since I chased my hampster all the way to St. Louis.
-
Ya know, I've never really understood why people thought that this show was so funny. I thought it was rather horrible, myself. But that's just me.

Image is a little stretched (I know that can't be helped), but other than that, its perfect! That is the greatest pic for that phrase. It means "When you want peace, prepare for war."
I got the avitar done but still working on the sig.
Sweet. Looks great! Thanks.

I wanted to know if anyone could make me an Avi and Banner of "The Punisher." For the avi I was just thinking the skull symbol that he uses. I don't care about the pics for the banner. Go wild. I just want the quote "Si vis pacem, para bellum" on there somewhere. Thanks in advance, you guys.
I believe realism isn't the term you're looking for. A realist (pragmatist) rejects the visionary or ideal, and instead embraces the practical. They don't necessarily "believe" everything that's real. Now, this Church of Reality business sounds rather fishy. How do you know we're not living in a Matrix of sorts, perhaps just being brains in vats in some dark room being fed stimuli? Perhaps we're all living in a dream and when we die we wake up? Is your Chuch devoted to percieved truths and realities? If so, you could be pursuing in vain if we are after all just brains in vats. The phrase "What is Real?" is so open ended, and if you asked a Buddhist you'd get a much different answer than if you asked an Atheist. All I'm saying is don't assume that our percieved reality is the only one -- perhaps we're just a variable in a science experiment.
Yes, perhaps. But until that is proven, we will just go on believing in the reality that we know right now.
-
I for one am proudly a realist. We believe in everything that is real. Most people just call this atheism. But it is not. In a way, it is one step after atheism. Our motto is, "If it's real, we believe in it." Since no one knows all of reality, the Church of Reality is really a religious commitment to the pursuit of reality the way it really is. We think about thinking. We wonder about wondering. We try to understand the understanding of understanding. We are Explorers not followers. The phrase "What is Real?" is our Sacred Question and the word "Reality" is our Sacred Message. We talk about reality, think about reality, and make reality more important in society.
