Well first of all, I would like to state that I cannot stand any of the bands mentioned mentioned by Kitsune~Girl. Including Nirvana. And David Bowie, although his music is great, I can't get over his hugeamundo mullet. Well now for the rock bands that I like: Louis XIV, The White Stripes, Captain Beefheart (ALL HAIL), Mardo, T-Rex, The Secret, The Rolling Stones, Convoy, The Von Bondies. Well, the majority of the stuff I like is either in the indie or the folk genre, so I will save that for a later date.

As Locke began to awaken, he saw blurry images of the others fighting. Fighting his friend, Damien. It seemed as thought He could not be beaten. He healed rapidly, after every wound taken. They couldn't beat him. Not now, they were too weak. Locke looked around. automobiles lined the once busy street. Locke looked around, searching for a van, or something that would hold six people. His eyes cam to an old VW Vanagon. Locke jumped to his feet, and swiftly ran over to the van. "Please be unlocked, please be unlocked, ' Locke chanted to himself. He pulled the handle, and the door came open. "Wow." That was lucky. Locke hopped in the van. He looked down, below the dash and saw a series of wires exposed. He searched through them, and found the red wire that he was looking for. Locke brought the wire to his teeth and bit it in half. Then he rubbed the two ends together until sparks came out. The car started, and the others looked up. "Get in!" Locke yelled. Bear slammed his weapon into Damien's face one last time, making him stagger for a few seconds. Everybody piled into the car, and Locke floored the gas. After the short sound of screeching tires, they sped off past Damien, into the town.

Darn I lose. But technically so does Desbreko. He thought up the game, and posted it.

Just a quick question. How did we get from screamo to metal? They are two completely different genres.
-
Sara, I have given your dilemma even more thought and consideration. And I still have to say, get your *ss to Minnesota! It is the only logical thing that I can find to do.

There is a game...Packy and Marlon. I am not sure if it is really a game or I just thought it up somehow. If it is a real game, it is definitely the most horrible one that I have ever played. It is for SNES, and you are these two diabetic elephants. As you progress through the levels, there are different foods that you can pick up. You have to get the right food so that you won't have an insulin level that is too high or too low. Has anyone else ever seen or heard of this, or am I just making it up?
Originally posted by Boh HoyIt's not really screaming to begin with. I would compare it to a high pitched growl. Secondly, alot of "screamo" is understandable. If you can't understand it, train yourself by reading the lyrics and you'll be able to distinguish it better, the same with metal. My problem is that you called all metal not understandable. There's a wide variety in the ways lyrics are delivered in metal and some are more distinguishable than others.
I apologize for grouping all metal together. I didn't mean to do that. I haven't heard enough metal to say that all of it is understandable. I will say this though, there is a local metal band around here called Laid To Rest, and they play a lot of The Rolling Stones covers. I am a huge stones fan, and I know all of the words to most of the songs that LTR does, but I can still never understand a word of what they say.
-
I just want to say that not all of us out there who dislike metal or screamo bands don't respect it. I for one, know how hard it is to scream properly, but its just not my thing. As it is for a lot of people out there. I just like to listen to understandable music.

Well you see, you don't have to be in an anime world to have an adventure. You can do that right here, in the real world. Just take off, and go somewhere. Its just like the quote in your signature says. "Legends aren't born, they're made." The same thing goes for adventures. Make your own. Well, anyways, I would definitely choose the adventure.

Well there is always the fact that the digimon are only data in a digital world. You have to take that into consideration. (I am only talking about the older seasons of digimon. I haven't seen the newer, so I don't know if digimon ever came to the real world or not.)

I would like to second the motion for closing the thread. This guy is obviously just wanting to whine about something, regardless if whether or not it needs whining about.
You know what? Fine, go die alone then, go say you're stupid and go on saying you're all alone. What? You can mind read? How do you know that out of the few billion s that none of them like you, not even one. Not so likely. Unless ofcourse, you can either read the future or read minds, since you can none of them, don't count your chickens before they hatch.
You go get him Uchihagirl!!

I highly recommend anything and everything by Bentley Little. Even Stephen King gives him kudos to his horror novels. I just finished The Revelation, a book by him about
Satan raising stillborn deformed babies from the grave and using him to do his bidding.
Pretty gory stuff, but it was spectacular.
Originally posted by Kaise: 6 years is hella long for a phase. I've given it 6 years, and i'm damn SICK of it. Yes, it basically does mean i'm gonna die alone. There are a few billion s that are good, and they're all gonna be dating better guys.
You are right, with this pessimistic attitude, you may die alone, because no one wants to be around someone like that. If you start thinking more positively, the reactions you get from people will be positive too.

What do you think of what some former child stars are now? I will put some down, and you guys can help add to the list. Appeared on Bright Eyes album, "Lifted or the Story is in the Soil Keep Your Ear to the Ground ." Kenan Thompson - "Kenan" from Kenan and Kel and All That - SNL cast member. Edward Furlong - "John Connor" in Terminator 2 - Was arrested on charges of public intoxication while trying to free a lobster from a tank in Kroger in Lexington, KY. Dustin Diamond - "Screech" from Saved by the Bell - Now trying to sell $250,000 worth of shirts so that he can't keep his home in Wisconsin...its not going too well... Michael Jackson - Baby dangler and...well...you know the other stuff. Add some more child stars to the list, or comment on the ones already listed.

I am definitely agreeing with Ikillion on this one. Its just a phase. Just because you are 16 and you have never been kissed, that doesn't mean that you will die alone. You still have a good 60 years left, and a good few billion grls that you haven't even met yet. Just give it time, and everything will work out.

Well, for one, I can't even think about The Notebook without crying.
Why...oh why the eternal sadness?
And then of course there is The Shawshank Redemption.
Sure, the ending is happy, but when the old man that finally gets out (sorry, don't recall the name) hangs himself, I couldn't stop. He was so nice.
:animecry:

'Alright,' Locke thought, 'Gotta think fast. He's my best friend, and I don't want to kill him. I just want to subdue him.' Before Locke knew it, he was taking his belt off. In about 4 seconds, he had the strap end in his palm, and the belt wrapped around his hand twice. 'What the hell?' Locke thought to himself. He didn't know why he did this, but it felt oddly familiar. Before he knew it, he was charging at Damien, full force. Damien was only about two and a half feet away when Locke swung the belt into his forehead. Black liquid gushed out of the wound that the heavy belt buckle had left. The angered Damien forcefully brought the hilt of his sword down onto Locke's head. Locke fell to the hard pavement and everything went black... [OOC]Sorry so short...didn't sleep last night...so tired...

Heh. Give them the link to this thread, and then ask them how much they think that you should pay. -OR- Just don't give them anything -OR- Move to Minnesota. Unless you already live there. In that case, stick to the first two options.
