Biography
I love bishies, some yaoi & shounen-ai. I'm not really into the slash scene. I like it when the characters originally have a relationship between them. I'm also an artist who takes pleasure in creating Japanese anime influenced art here in the U.S.

Manga Good News for Yami no Matsuei fans...
SubZero Rayz replied to SubZero Rayz's topic in Otaku Central
SUGOI!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate it when series go on a break like that, so it's awesome to see it starting up again. Now if only CLAMP would finish X...
Yeah, really I mean COME ON! The fan base for X is incredibly huge! Oh well...I guess we can't have EVERYTHING we want. :( I'm just pleased I was able to find out such wonderful news about YnM. It was really frustrating not knowing what was going on with that series in Japan. -
I happened to run across a Yami no Matsuei community in livejournal the other day and to my pleasant surprise I read one livejournal user's post. Apparently while visiting a friend from Japan, she found the latest Hana to Yume magazine and discovered an ad for YnM in it. According to her friend, it said that "Yami no Matsuei has returned" as well as that the story line picks up after the Kyoto case and the disappearance of Muraki. If anyone is interested in reading the original post, here's the link: http://www.livejournal.com/community/yami_no_matsuei/148511.html

Shame on those people who call suicidal people stupid or selfish. That's like blaming someone for having cancer. It's literally a disease of the mind. Many times, it can't be helped (This is in reference to people who are truly depressed/suicidal and don't know why!). I understand that some people threaten suicide for attention (and that is a bit selfish), but don't lump us all together. People have different reasons. As a person who's been suffering from depression and suicidal thoughts for nearly 6 years, I can say that I truly believe that many people suffering from suicidal thoughts are indeed not in their right mind...but because of a little known factor. People are incredibly naive as to what goes on around them, but it isn't really their fault. I've happen to run across many things in my readings that point to a little known culprit that may be causing many of these suicidal problems to begin with. When people hear the words depression and suicide, many think chemical imbalance, right? And what is it exactly that is causing these "chemical imbalances"? My conclusion is (oh yes, you may say I sound paranoid, but I've done the research) that the same companies that provide the country's food supply are also in connection with the country's pharmaceutical supply. They deliberately put drugs into the food that cause depression. That's why if someone has a crappy diet, that could be one of the major factors contributing to their depression and even suicide. Low blood sugar is known to cause depression and many of the foods consumed here will do exactly just that-sky rocket your blood sugar so that it causes you to literally crash (this can cause addiction as well!). So what do many people do when they become "hopelessly depressed"? They'll buy anti-depressants. In the end, it's all about money. I admit I'm guilty of not having the best diet, but ever since I've done the research, I've attempted to clean up my diet somewhat and can say I'm feeling a bit better these days. I thought I'd share my two-bits with others who are feeling dark and negative and would like to know why that may be. Oh, and think about taking a walk in the sunshine and fresh air. If even for a few minutes I guarentee you'll feel just a little better. :animesigh
Yaoi -- I've only watched one (Ai no Kusabi) and I liked it, if I could find more I would watch more ^^; Shounen-ai -- Yes... I watch is as often as I can find it. Yami no Matsuei is one of my all-time favourite animes ^^ The art of shounen-ai is generally very beautiful and detailed. I also find that shounen-ai has some real heart behind the romance, which I find missing in a lot of guyxgirl animes (I still watch them though ^^: ). Shounen-ai also tends to have a mix of everything: romance, comedy, action... That's why I have a hard time disliking them :P
Here, here! :animesmil To all the great titles like Yami no Matsuei! Oh and if you check out Amazon.com, people have lists of Yaoi/shounen-ai to watch and read all grouped together, so it might be worth taking a peek at.

I simply watch yaoi or shounen-ai for the art and the fascination that it holds over me. The art in yaoi is generally very beautiful. Of course, if it has a story line, I like it even more. Oh and Yuri is the Japanese word for the lily flower. (Barazoku means "rose tribe" and that refers to gay men. Whereas yurizoku means "lily tribe" and is used in reference to lesbians.)

Hello! I'm a newbie here, but I thought I would present some info I happen to run across. I absoultely am in love with Yami no Matsuei, as is my friend (who strangely enough resembles Tsuzuki in appearance and in personality:animeblus ). Anyhow, I found this posted on amazon.com on someone's list of yaoi and shounen-ai titles: "While the lead characters in 'Descendants Of Darkness (Yami no Matsuei)' aren't outright gay, there's certainly plenty of affection between them! Another series with amazing artwork, and no lack of shounen-ai elements, it's a must-read for boys love fans. The series has been on an extended hiatus in Japan, but there are rumors that the mangaka may be coming out with a related side-story soon, and Viz's recent licensing could be a hopeful sign." Could it be? Our beloved Yami no Matsuei isn't going to be dead ended?? :D I can only hope and pray!
